Complicated

Naruto fucking Uzumaki is Sasuke's first kiss.

Sasuke's cheeks were tinted with pink as the thought came to his mind, once again. He was currently inside the library and it was already 15 minutes since he entered the room. He can't get his mind off the memory of him being on top of naruto while their lips were pressed against each other.

What can't he forget is how warm it was to be on top of naruto, he felt some butterflies inside of his stomach when he felt Naruto's warm hands on his waist and that fucking lips. The blonde's lips were surprisingly soft and naruto tasted like miso ramen or something.

He silently slapped his forehead when he thought of naruto's taste. Shit, this is Suigetsu's fault, asking him what Naruto tasted like.

"Sasuke, I'm very sorry for pushing you. I didn't know that you're gonna lost your footing or whatever." Suigetsu followed Sasuke after he got up from naruto and stormed upstairs. He can't afford to be seen with his cheeks tinted with pink. Especially by Naruto.

"But I did not expect you to ravish Karin's cousin, you know?" suigetsu added and sipped on his tumbler, Sasuke looked at him with an annoyed face.

"wow, you looked so annoyed." Suigetsu said sarcastically. "but seriously man, the kiss lasted for about one minute" suigetsu didn't shut up and Sasuke hit him on the back of his head.

"shut up, what if someone will hear you?" Sasuke hissed but suigetsu just laugh it off, after all, he saw how Sasuke's ears and cheeks reddened. He seriously prayed for his life when Sasuke got up, he expected Sasuke would punch him or that Sasuke will send him flying upstairs, but he was greeted by Sasuke's blushing face.

Suigetsu did not expect the kissing part but he did plan on pushing Sasuke toward naruto, he just wanted to see if his friend would be angry or lashed out or something along the line, he did not also say anything when the kiss lasted for about a minute, suigetsu quite enjoyed it.

Suigetsu planned on getting Sasuke into a relationship but he didn't know what Sasuke's type so he ended up pushing him to the blonde-whiskered guy. It's not that suigetsu expected Sasuke to like some guy but to his surprise, Sasuke got flustered because of some whiskers. Then he remembered Sasuke's a cat person.

"So Sasuke, what was naruto tasted like?" suigetsu continued, Sasuke frowned and entered the library.

"He tasted like miso, or something...wait why are you asking me this? And why the fuck am I answering you?" Sasuke answered, frustrated yet flustered. Suigetsu just smirked at his raven friend and continue sipping at his ice coffee. 'so the whiskered guy is his type, huh, plus it's a blonde. Nice Sasuke.' Suigetsu said to himself and just watched Sasuke opened his book, blush was still visible on his cheeks.

When the test finished Sasuke hurriedly went out of his classroom and headed next to his class, he didn't want to see naruto anywhere right now, he didn't know what he's gonna do if he'll see the blonde. Not now. The memory was still clear as a crystal in his mind.

He barely could even focus on his next class and it was quite a torture for him because it was a double subject and two hours and thirty minutes class. He just wanted to go home and just buried his face in his pillow. But then he remembered Neji. What if he'll ditch Neji? But then he and Neji just reconciled hours ago. He can't just ditch Neji.

So when his class was finished he headed out of his room and was surprised to see Neji waiting for him outside.

"Neji," he trailed off, Neji smiled at him and walked to his side

"Let's go?" Neji asked and he smilingly nodded

"Where do you want to go?" Neji asked him, Sasuke thought about some mall but then he wanted some fresh air so maybe some other time. He was about to answer Neji but Neji stopped on his track and his vision was fixed in front of them so Sasuke followed his gaze.

A certain red-haired guy and a blonde-haired guy that Sasuke wanted to avoid were standing just across them. Sasuke was surprised when he found naruto's gaze was already fixed on him.

Oh, God.

They eye-contacted.

"Gaara." he looked at Neji when he spoke

"Neji." the Gaara guy trailed off, his eyes were on Neji but suddenly went to Sasuke, Sasuke flinched slightly when he saw how irritated and cold the stare that the red-haired gave off him.

"So, he's the new guy huh" it was more of a statement than a question and that made Sasuke's brow raise.

'Did someone just refer to me as a mistress or something?'

Sasuke thought to himself, he saw how Neji stiffed beside him. Okay, what the hell is going on?

"Gaara, it not what it looks like-" Neji tried to explain but was cut off by Gaara

"save it. It's okay." Gaara said and turned his back against us and dragged naruto with him, he saw how naruto glanced at him but he just ignored it and faced Neji.

"shut up," Neji said so Sasuke rolled his charcoal eyes

"I'm sorry about that," Neji said and massaged his temple

"Where do you wanna go?" he asked Sasuke so Sasuke just dragged him and didn't say a word

"Let's buy some snacks first," Sasuke said and headed towards their campus gate and walked to a convenience store that was just in front of their school. Sasuke and Neji kept quiet but the silence between them is comforting.

He dragged Neji to the back of the park, a spot where they can see the beautiful sunset. They are both seated at the center of the field, Sasuke admired the view before him for a while and then faced Neji whose face is painted with pain expression.

"Care to tell me?" Sasuke asked and then opened his chips, he offered some to Neji which was accepted by the other.

"Gaara. He's my ex-boyfriend."

"Huh? since when did you swing that way?" Sasuke asked, then Neji faced him with an annoyed face

"That's your question?" he asked Sasuke back

"Well, one question at a time." Sasuke answered and roll an eye at Neji, "so?" he asked impatiently

"When I turned 13. Gaara and I became friends, I realized I'm not seeing him in that way. I even kissed tenten just to confirm it. I quite enjoyed the kiss but minutes later Gaara's face suddenly appeared in the back of my mind. Then I confirmed that I'm bi." Neji started, Sasuke quietly nodded and sip on his drink. "you don't hate me right?" Neji nervously asks Sasuke

"If it'll make you slightly better, I, too," Sasuke said

"That's a rel—what?" Neji looked at Sasuke with disbelief

"You heard me, now continue"

"Months later Gaara and I started dating, I don't know how it happened it wasn't serious. To him, that is" Neji frowned at the last statement.

"You've fallen." It wasn't a question, it was a statement.

"Uh, not..really" Neji muttered scratching his cheeks slightly

"Hn,"

"Anyways, he didn't take it seriously for around three years but then I confessed to him that I can't take it anymore and I wanted to take the relationship seriously. I also said to him that it's okay if he'll choose to dump me but then he called me stupid." Neji smiled fondly and Sasuke's brows meet each other.

"After that, we both took our relationship seriously, I decided on opening my relationship up with my cousin. Hinata. She was okay with it and supported me but then my uncle her father heard about it and criticize my relationship with Gaara. He said that I was a disgrace to the family he surprisingly didn't kick me out of the mansion. He said that I should break up with Gaara." Sasuke saw how Neji looked sad.

"It's not your fault, in love we don't choose their gender right?" Sasuke said to Neji and Neji nodded

"I know about that. I told Gaara about what happened but I didn't break up with him. I talked to him about going out with him privately. I don't want to tell other people about our relationship but I also said to him that if someone will ask about it we won't deny each other. And he agreed with it. I was happy, we were happy but a year later my uncle knew about my relationship with Gaara. I fought my relationship with Gaara and took all of his insults, I was stubborn, guess I took that from you." Neji said so Sasuke hit him on the back of his head, Neji chuckled and that made Sasuke happy.

"Then I didn't expect him to use Gaara against me, he said he'll ruin Gaara's life and his family if I won't break up with him. Gaara's life is already a mess, I don't want to ruin him completely. So I broke up with him. It wasn't easy but at least I didn't ruin his life." Neji brought his knees against his chest

"But, you are not happy, and as I can see he doesn't look like it too," Sasuke said

"I know. I'm a coward aren't I?" Neji asked, Sasuke shook his head

"Protecting Gaara in your way doesn't define you as a coward, moron," Sasuke said and that made Neji laugh a little

"Do you still love him?" Sasuke asks the obvious

"You're asking me that?" Sasuke knew the answer but he still asked Neji because he saw Gaara standing behind the tree that isn't that far from where they are, Sasuke was slightly facing Neji whose back is at where Gaara's position is he didn't make it obvious that he saw Gaara, the red-haired was actually taking a step to go but suddenly halted when he heard Sasuke's question.

"Just answer," Sasuke replied rolling his eyes in the process

"It won't go away. It won't fade. It'll just grow stronger." Neji answered him, sadness can be heard in his voice

Sasuke notice how Gaara move fast, he didn't look back but he saw the slight shaking of Gaara's shoulders when he move away.

"So, about naruto." Sasuke flinch when he heard naruto's name

"Who's he?" Sasuke tried acting oblivious.

"Come on, I saw how he stared at you earlier, I even saw how your ears reddened a bit," Neji said and look at him, Neji slightly closed his eyes as if he was suspicious of Sasuke

"It's nothing, we just accidentally kissed." Neji's jaw went wide open

"What?" he asked, confused

"Accidentally. It was nothing." He said, indicating to drop the subject but Neji was stubborn

He finally told Neji about what happened, Neji laughed at it first, and then suddenly he started teasing Sasuke. They stayed at the park for an hour and then they decided on heading home.

Sasuke promised Neji that they'll do it again and that he'll see him at school tomorrow.

When he got home his father called him to his office, even though Sasuke doesn't want to, he entered his father's office.

"Father," he greeted, remaining to stand and it seems that his father did not mind

"I thought I already told you to cut your ties with your so-called friends? Do you want me to ruin their lives, Sasuke?" his father fugaku said with a strict voice and that made Sasuke shiver with fear.

His eyes went wide and his face paled.

"No. Please, no." his voice shake, he shook his head and his eyes were pleading with his father not to do anything to his friends

"Then, Cut your ties with them," Fugaku ordered him, and Sasuke nodded hesitantly

He can't let his father ruin his friends' life, he can't also afford to let fugaku know about him and Neji.

He went to his room without glancing back at his mother who called out on him, he ignored her and he locked himself in his room. He silently cried alone, when he dared to make new friends his father got in his way. Just when he and Neji got reconciled and reunited again, his father ruined his day.

A week after that he completely ignored Shikamaru, choji, and ino. Even in the class, he ignored them, he spent most of his time with Neji on the roof top, he also made an effort to not cross his way with naruto. Suigetsu and his gang once joined Sasuke when he was not with Neji, he doesn't quite hate being around them but he put a distance between them. He doesn't want to give his father a new reason to ruin his life.

Monday came and Sasuke was surprisingly early and he did not expect to see Shikamaru in the hallway. Sasuke stiffened and Shikamaru just sighed.

"Shikamaru," Sasuke trailed and Shikamaru walked towards him, he did not move, he waited for Shikamaru to punch him or yelled at him

"Is it your father?" Sasuke's eyes grew wide, he look at Shikamaru with disbelief, he was confused.

"Is he the reason why you're avoiding us?" Sasuke looked at his feet, he didn't know how to answer Shikamaru

"It's okay, we understand. You can still talk to us anytime you want. It's too troublesome when you started ignoring us because ino was sulking but then we choose to understand you." Shikamaru said and patted Sasuke's shoulder

"I'm very sorry Shikamaru, I'll talk to you guys once in a while and thank you. Tell Ino that I am sorry." Sasuke sincerely said while looking at Shikamaru's eyes, the pineapple head guy smiled lazily and nodded, then he smirked and lean on Sasuke and brought his lips near Sasuke's ear.

"So, how was the kiss with Naruto?" he whispered, and when he felt Sasuke stiffened he pulled away and he grinned.

"I saw you both clashed against the floor and kissed, but don't worry I won't tell anyone. Your life has gotten complicated, huh?" and with that Shikamaru left Sasuke who's still processing what Shikamaru just said.

After five minutes he slapped his forehead and just headed straight to the rooftop. Shikamaru is right, his life has gotten more complicated, he put a distance between his new friends because of his father, he and Neji reconciled and he was named Neji's mistress by Gaara of course, he just knew about it, and then naruto. They kissed. Accidentally. What the actual fuck. This is all suigetsu's fault.

"I'll normalize blaming everything on suigetsu from now on." He muttered and he opened the door and he stopped when he saw naruto seating on a bench that was there on the rooftop.

He wanted to leave but there's something on naruto's face that made Sasuke stay and choose to approach the blonde, it seems like naruto doesn't sense him yet. But then naruto look in his direction and it made Sasuke flinch

"Yo, Uchiha." Naruto greeted him and Sasuke walked towards naruto, naruto gave him his signature smile. It's not like Sasuke was paying attention to him or anything, he just saw naruto always smiling that way.

"Don't pretend, Usuratonkachi." Sasuke muttered and sat beside naruto but leave a space between them

"Huh?" naruto looked at him, his ocean blue eyes were open wide

"Something happened?" he ask and look at the clouds in front of him naruto shook his head and smiled tiredly

"That obvious, huh," he said Sasuke just hummed and stayed silent

"It was nothing, I'm just tired of hearing other people comparing me to my dad, it was as if I am my dad's shadow. They only recognize me because I was  Minato Namikaze's  son and not because I am Naruto Uzumaki," the blonde said and Sasuke felt his heart clench, because he too, knows what it felt like.
