Prologue
The sounds of horseshoes hitting the ground echoed through the road followed by the sounds of wheels. The Gemstone decorated carriage always means royalty. It rode through the jewelers' district of Konoha, one of the most influential and wealthy cities in the Fire Country. It reached the chieftain's palace and came to a halt. Guarded by twenty soldiers, a frail old man with a cane walked out of the carriage. He had black, shaggy hair, and his right eye was bandaged with an x mark scar on his chin.
" Lord Danzo.....", a young man with auburn colored hair and amber eyes addressed him.
" Fu... What transpired in the time I was gone? ", Danzo asked.
" It is much better to talk about it inside, my lord. ", Fu told his lord.
" Lead me in, then. ", Danzo ordered Fu and Fu obliged.
Inside the palace,
" The civil unrest has risen over a couple of weeks. ", Fu stated.
" We had employed merchants and shopkeepers to convince the people against that. What happened to that? ", Danzo asked.
" They saw through the illusion that we wanted them to see. ", Fu replied,
" Dammit! Why must these people resist me? Why can't they just do their work obediently? ", Danzo scolded while punching the table.
" We have made demonstrations of public execution to keep them from bursting. But, the question of how long this will be fruitful is not answerable. ", Torune, a fairly tall and lean-built man. He had fair skin and short spike dull black hair, the right-hand man of Danzo, stated.
" Who is supporting these people? ", Danzo asked them.
Fu and Torune looked at each other before informing Danzo of the person.
" It is Uzushiogakure, Lord Danzo ".
Danzo stood up from the chair and walked to the map on that wall. He took out his knife and stabbed a piece of land surrounded by water connected to the Fire Country by strips of land paths.
" That damned bitch!!!! I'll make sure begs on her knees for this!!!! ", Danzo growled in frustration.
Meanwhile, deep in the forests of Fire Country,
A man was galloping away on a horse. His face contained fear up to an unaccountable amount. He gallops his horse to run faster to reach Kisaragi village.
" Just a little more! Just a little more! ", The man told himself in hope.
Suddenly, his horse tripped over and he fell down on the ground. It was a string trap set to destabilize him. As he looked up, he saw the dreaded figure that he was running away from. Came out of it a man with short spiky orange hair and blue eyes.
" It was not wise to run, Hanzo. ", He spoke to the man on the ground.
" It took nearly five days to track down your whereabouts. ", a female voice spoke from the shadows.
Out of it came a young woman with short, straight blue hair with a bun, and amber eyes with lavender eye shadow.
" P-please...spare m-me ", the man pleaded in fear.
As the man with orange-hair man stepped towards Hanzo, a blade slit Hanzo's throat. The man and woman looked to find that the blade belonged to a man with pale white skin with straight red hair.
" It is done...Let us leave with his corpse. ", the man told the two.
With a small nod, the three started to disappear into the forest with Hanzo's corpse.
The city of Amegakure.
known for its rainy climate and large water reservoirs, is where Hanzo was a chieftain. But, now he is just a corpse that was hung in the center as punishment for his sins. The people of Anegakure welcomed this as their new leader Yahiko, the man who chased down Hanzo, stepped in to correct the blunders made by Hanzo.
" Well, we managed to calm them down. What do we do next? ", Yahiko asked his two friends.
" Don't screw up the city. ", The red-haired man who slit Hanzo's throat replied.
" Don't be so pessimistic, Nagato. ", Yahiko replied.
" Whatever.... ", Nagato said with a sigh.
" Can the two of you ever stop your bickering? ", The blue-haired woman, who was with Yahiko and Nagato when chasing Hanzo, asked them in a straight tone.
" Konan...is it time? ", Nagato asked her.
" Yes, follow me. ", Konan told them as she started walking forward.
After a couple of minutes, they reached the horse shed. They approached the attendee who keeps a check on the horses for the night.
" Ah! Yahiko-sama, what good deed have I done to be graced with your presence? ", The attendee proclaimed in devotion as he bowed to the three.
" There is no need for that. I need something you to do. ", Yahiko told him.
" Anything sir! ", The attendee proclaimed again.
" Bring me to 'Kage Kuraudo' ", Yahiko told him.
" Right this way, sir. ", The man replied obediently as his face and tone turned serious.
They walked through the shed having multiple horses sleeping in their spots. The attendee brought the three to the fourth horse's place. He opened the door and let it out. He then proceeded to dig through the hay that was put down inside for the horse. After some seconds, a trap door was found in the middle of the dug hay.
" Through this, sir...", The attendee said in a serious and respectful tone as he opened it to show a staircase, leading to a tunnel.
The three warriors walked down the stairs and the door was closed as they got to the tunnel. They proceeded through the path with Yahiko holding the torch. They continued their journey for a couple of minutes until they reached an opening. Walking through it, they find themselves in the forest near Ame. Just as they took another step, the footsteps of someone were heard. They looked forward to finding a man clad in black head to toe.
" What is the purpose? ", He asked the three.
" 'Coin in balance : Shaken for Good' ", Konan answered him.
After a couple of seconds, the man took off his mask to reveal his face. He had black eyes and spiky black hair with a blue tint. His hair was long and hung over his face as bangs. He looked at the three of them and nodded.
" Welcome...", the man told them.
" Sasuke, don't be a stranger brother. ", Yahiko told him with his sword out and a smile.
" Alright... ", Sasuke said with a sigh as he clanged his sword with Yahiko's.
" When does the meeting start? ", Konan asked him.
" In a few minutes. ", Sasuke replied.
" Then, shall we move on? ", Nagato asked.
" Yes, follow me. ", Sasuke said as he turned around and lead them into the forest.
And that marked the beginning of the story of 'The Fire Conquerer'.
