Chapter 1
Naruto sat in grass with tears running down his face. Naruto was in training ground 44, the forest of death, with 3 dead like clones. The genin test was tomorrow.. He had failed 2 times already due to one jutsu, clone bushin, because no matter how made he tried, the clone just just didn't work. If he failed the test this time he would be kicked out. There was no doubt in Naruto's mind that clone bunshin was going to be on exam. What Naruto didn't know was that someone was watching him.
A shadow appeared behind Naruto. "What are you doing here?" The voice sounded cold,deep and most of all mysterious. "Leave me alone" Naruto really didn't want to see anyone. The thought of looking at anyone scared Naruto. The look of hatred in their face emotionally cut him deeply. "You won't be able to make that type of clone" Naruto somehow got overcame his fear and stood up."I can make a clone!! This isn't a challenge for NARUTO UZUMAKI, because Im going to be hokage, believe it!" He yelled with his fist into the air. Ignoring the hokage comment the shadow spoke again. "I never said that you wasn't going to to be able to make a clone. I said that you are never going to be able to make that type of clone." A look of confusion appeared on Naruto's face. "What's the difference? "
"You have to much chara to do a normal clone. Even a drop of your charka is much for a normal clone" the shadow threw a scroll."what is this?" "It another clone justu, one that is more suitable for you. Try it out"
After a series of hand signs, Naruto screamed out the jutsu. "Shadow Clone" 20 more Naruto's appeared. "Yes! I can become hokage with this clone justu."Naruto said as he run in circles.
Only one question repeatedly wormed into way into the shadow's brain."Why do you want to be hokage. If you don't mind me asking"
For the first time of the day Naruto seemed calm. "I...I want to be recognized by the villagers. I w-want to be respected by them. I want to be seen as something more than a... monster...a demon" Naruto didn't know why he felt the need to tell the random stranger, that he had just met.
"Why do you want to be recognized by everyone? Why do you care about what everyone thinks? There will always be someone who will always try to push you down"
For once Naruto was speechless. He had never really thought about it that way.
"No matter how hard you try there will always be someone put there that will hate you. If you even become the hokage you will probably have a lot more people hating you. So if you keep thinking that way you won't even become a ninja, forget about hokage, and if you you are that set on being hokage have to try to become a great Ninja first. You can't become hokage -" the shadow started. That shook Naruto out of his train of thought.
"Who do you think you are!! You can't just walk up to a person and try to crush their dream" Naruto was about to storm off when a hand grabbed his shoulder.
"You can't become hokage to be recognized. You have to be recognized to be hokage." 'That doesn't make sense. Why would I have to be recognized to become hokage. I just have to be strong.'
"What do you mean" This had been the most Naruto have ever been confused in his life.
"You will understand in time"
Why was everything he said so criptic. Not everything suppose to be a riddle.
"Tell me, do you really know what a hokage is?"
Naruto had always thought the being hokage just ment that the person was the most strongest and respected person in the village and that the job was easy. As of reading his mind the shadow started back talking. "The hokage is not always strongest or the most respected"
Even though the shadow had just started back talking Naruto was already confused. 'The only person that the villagers really listen to is the hokage'
The shadow already saw the look on Naruto's face but he still continued. "The hokage is just the person incharge of every woman and man in their village. The hokage has to protect everyone around them. " Naruto smiled. "Yes!! This will be so easy if that's all I got to do I will be able to tell everyone what to do, and they got to because-" the shadow stopped Naruto.
"The job is definitely not easy and telling people what to do is not the only thing a hokage has to do. A hokage has to make tough decisions every day. They would have to decide which team goes on which mission, but pick the wrong team for the mission and they die, their deaths would be on their shoulders. They have to send some teams on suicide missions, knowing that their is only a 1% chance of them coming back alive, it may be be hard but they still they have to do it. They have to keep the village safe. They have to be able to lay down their life for their village, no matter how they treat them. Would you really be able to do that?" The shadow talked as he some type of experience, like he was hokage once
Naruto shook's his head yes quickly. The information that he just received only made him want to be hokage more. He would gladly die for the people he cared about even thought there was only a few that cared about him.
"Yes...I want- No...I will be hokage someday so I can protect my precious people. I will be strong enough to protect to ones in love even if it kills me. That...that will be MY NINJA WAY!!" Tears formed in his eyes. Yet he refused to let them fall.
The shadow could only smile at how much determination and passion Naruto had in his eyes. "Good" and with that the shadow disappeared in a red flash. Naruto turned around to see 6 scrolls, with 4 of them filled with C-rank elements, one was charka control activities, and the last one with fuinjutsu books.
Naruto went home tired that night. Naruto had been trying to do two of the three of the charka exercises, spinning leaves and tree walking. He didn't get home to around 2 in the morning. He could now spin 3 leaves while walking up 3/4 of the tree. Naruto was already on chapter 5 of the fuinjutsu book. Usually books would bore him, but for some reason he couldn't stop reading it.
Even though Naruto was tired he couldn't sleep that night. Millions of thoughts roamed his mind, but the thing that bugged him most was the fact that Naruto didn't know who the shadow was.

Naruto sat nervously in an almost empty room. It was so quiet that you easily hear a pin drop. "Sasuke Uchiha, your up next". Naruto was now the last person in the classroom. After ten minutes they finally called his name. "Naruto Uzumaki"
Naruto ran into room with his fist in the air. "I'm ready" he screamed, he jumped around the room. "First you have to successfully use a Kawarimi jutsu," 'I have to do it this time!' Naruto thought. Naruto quickly switched places with a rock that was near by, with little difficulty. "Already all you have to do now is create three clones and henge then, I'll even pass you if you can make two clones and they don't even have to henge" Naruto felt slightly betrayed. Iruka was usually the one to encourage him. So why didn't he believe in him. Slightly sad Naruto did the hand signs and shouted the justu out. "Shadow Clone Justu" 10 clones appeared, but only three were hinged, Iruka, The third and the fourth hokage. "You pass Naruto. Come back here in two weeks to get your Sensei"
As Naruto walked out of the academy people whispered around him. "I can't believe that they let they let that demon pass." An old lady whispered to her husband. Naruto just smiled and ran towards the forest, not wanting to hear it anymore. If only he had stayed longer though. "We can't let that demon get stronger."

Naruto is now running away from a mob. Usually Naruto would be ready, Naruto would hear some stupid villagers bragging about how they would finally beat the demon brat. He then realized the fact that the village had been oddly quiet. The village was only really quiet when they were planning something. No that he think about it he only saw about four or five people in the streets today. Naruto really just wanted to bang his head on a desk about a thousand times, how could he be so dumb.
A kanta flew only a few inches above his head. Naruto started to run faster. The villagers were coming from everywhere. Naruto was now in a unknown place in kohana, still Naruto keep running. Left,right, left, right, right. Naruto ended up running into a dead end.Naruto tried to run up the wall but for some reason he couldn't. He was trapped. The villagers were closing in on him. Naruto's heart started racing. Were the villagers really going to get him this time. What if he died this. 'What if I don't make it this time. What if know no one comes to save me. How can I become hokage if I'm dead?'
The villagers for some reason didn't started with the same question they did everytime. "Why did you choose us to kill" Naruto use to answer the question the best he could. "I didn't kill anyone" " I don't know what you're talking about" But nothing seemed to satisfy them. After giving so many answers Naruto just gave up. He stopped answering them even thought they would only beat him more, because they thought that he was trying to be tough.
As the moronic villagers beat up Naruto, angry started to fill Naruto. 'Why me? Why am I the demon child? What did I ever do to them?' Naruto wanted to grow up to become hokage so he could protect them. The ones one looked down on him so many times. The ones who who beat him till he was almost dead three times a month. Naruto eyes started to bleed. Naruto's once bright blue eyes were now purple with a black cat like slit in the middle. Everything seemed to be going slowly. Like everyone was moving in slow-mo. Naruto only got to experience it for a few minutes before blacking out.

Naruto slowly woke up in the hospital. He wasn't surprised though. Almost everytime the villagers somehow caught up to Naruto and almost killed him Naruto would would wake up in the hospital the next day with Jiji sitting in the chair next to him. The only difference was the fact that he wasn't sitting next to him this time. Naruto continued to lay down, thinking deeply untill a deep, angry voice interrupted his thought process.
"Come here"
Naruto started to look around, but he still couldn't find out where the voice was coming from. The voice started to get louder and louder. Naruto's surroundings somehow started to fade. He was now in a poorly lit room with a huge cage in front of his. Curiousisty got the best of him, and he slowly walked towards the cage. "So you finally decided to visit me" A huge fox with nine tails appeared in the cage. "You're the Ninetails fox" Naruto studderered out. "Your supposed to be dead...the fourth killed you" He screamed as he pointed to the fox. "Well I must not be dead if I'm right here." The fox said surprisingly calmly. "H-how" Naruto was truly curious. "Let me start from the beginning. I'm a buijuu. Buijuu are made of charka, charka can't be be killed. Sure some exceptional powerful humans every few decades are good enough to 'kill' a buijuu, but since we can't be killed our charka moves around the world, until it can gather all up again, so I can reform." Naruto interrupted the kyuubi. "That still doesn't tell me why you're here and not out there"
"I was getting to that. As you know on October 10 I attacked your village. What you don't know is that I did not want to to do it, I was forced to buy that cursed sharingan. I was once sealed into your mother, Kushina Uzumaki, by your father, the fourth Minto Namikaze, sealed me into you." Naruto started to tear up near the end. "Did...Did they love me"
The kyuubi sighed, why did humans have to be so emotional, "Yes, Yes...they loved you so much. I bet they wish that they were right here with you." Naruto slowly looked at him and smiled. "Oh, I forgot to ask you. Why did you bring me here"
"You have unlocked an unique bloodline. One I still don't believe that a puny fleshbag such as yourself should have. Sadly I can't choose who has it."Naruto yelled at the fox. The kyuubi ignored him and continued. " Many stupid humans think that the Sage of Six Paths only had one powerful dõjutsu, the rinnegan. Of course they were wrong. He had one more. The divine eye." Naruto interrupted the kyuubi again. "Who is that sage person and what is the rinnegan?" The kyuubi sighed deeply, and started mumbling about how stupid fleshbags can be so stupid and why demons will always better than humans. "The Sage of Six Paths is the ancestor of shinobi, for his act of founding ninshū which led to the creation of the ninja. Most think of him as a god. The Rinnegan is a dõjutsu able to see chakra and its flow within the body, as well as otherwise invisible barriers, but cannot see through obstructions such as smoke bombs. Possession of the Rinnegan allows one to easily master any jutsu as well as all five basic nature transformations." Naruto staying quiet, trying to take all of this new information in. "Now what I was saying I the beginning. The sage of six paths did not have just the rinnegan. He had the divine eye. Only few know of it. The divine eye is a dõjutsu. It is in some ways similar to the sharingan. While it can copy
taijutsu, ninjutsu and gives it's user a great power in genjutsu, while also rendering genjutsu useless against them, the thing that make it so powerful is that it copies other dõjutsues ,while giving the user the ability to create new ones. The sage of six paths felt that the dõjutsu was too powerful, so he rarely used it." Naruto could only say one thing." "Wow!"
" I just told you something that has the power to create a war that could last for decades, destroy villages, kill thousands, no millions in this greedy bloody world and the only thing you can say is wow..." Once again Naruto could only say one thing. "Wow" The kyuubi sweat dropped at Naruto."it's the only thing I can say... It just a lot of information to take in."
Everything slowly started to fade. Naruto started to panic. "Wait...wait what is happening!?" Naruto started shouting and running around."Chill your just going back into the real world"
"Oh...wait I forget to ask.. what's your name? I know it can't be kyuubi cuz it sounds more like a title." Naruto only heard one thing before he was fully in the real world. "Kurama"
This time when naruto woke up his Jiji was there. "Hope you have a good sleep Naruto-kun" Naruto tackled him. "Hey Jiji!! Guess what....I passed this time. I'm finally a Ninja."
"Good job! I knew you would do it" Naruto got off of him and sat back on the bed. "You're a ninja now so I have to promise me that you will train super hard." Naruto shocked his head. "I promise. I'm going to train so hard. I will be the greatest ninja ever. I will protect everyone one I love. No one is goings to die on my watch."
The third didn't respond for a few minutes. Usually Naruto would scream to the top of his lungs that he he would become hokage, and how everyone was going to look up to him. Naruto really was starting to grow up. "I know you will" A grin slowly appeared on the third's face.
