Who's Evan
Sasuke clutched the toy to his chest and pointed the flashlight left and right. He held the light towards the closet. He slowly tip toed forwards to it. As he stepped he began to hear whispers. Sasuke froze and began to shake in fear. His small body slowly slipping in to a panic. Sasuke looked around and saw the doors on his left and right begin to open. The closet doors creaked and metal scraping on metal could be heard.
Sasuke pointed his flashlight around and saw monstrous versions of the main 4 animatronics from Freddy's begin to surround him. When he faced the closet, it was Bonnie to his left, Chica and her cupcake to his right, Foxy in front, and Freddy behind him. Sasuke then realized something. He wasn't in his room... Sasuke didn't have time to think when one of the bots lunged at him. Sasuke maneuvered and dodged Chica. Sasuke also ducked under Foxy's hook and ran towards the door that Chica had came in. He dashed out of the room, Freddy and his flashlight in his arms.
Sasuke stumbled and kept running. He heard metal on metal thundering after him. Sasuke felt tears burn his eyes. He clutched the toy tighter and kept the flashlight pointed ahead. Saw saw Michael skid in front of him. "Evan, keep running!!" Michael had a bat in his hands, ready to strike. Sasuke ducked past Michael and turned in time to see his older cousin swing and hit Foxy square in the face. Sasuke winced for the animatronic. Michael stepped back as the other 3 robots froze and stared at Foxy. The fox struggled to get up. His jaw dislocated and his tongue hanging loose like a snake.
Sasuke noticed Michael's breathing slightly quicken. Michael looked at Sasuke, bat in hand. He looked younger than Sasuke remembered. "Evan... Run!!" Michael commanded. Michael pushed Sasuke's chest as Foxy swung his hook. Foxy put a nasty gash in Michael's right bicep and the older Afton shouted in pain. Sasuke quickly got up off the floor and ran towards the living room. Maybe their scent modules weren't operative. Maybe Sasuke could hide in the pantry. Sasuke skidded to a stop and shined the flashlight around. Sasuke noticed another room was opened and a plushtrap toy was sitting in a chair at the end of the room. Sasuke squinted at it. What was an old plushtrap doing here?
Sasuke didn't have time for an answer as he heard Michael scream in pain and the roar of the robots. Sasuke quickly dashed past the kitchen and chose an alternative to hiding in the pantry. Sasuke decided the walk in hall closet would be best. Sasuke dashed into the closet and shut the door silently, then ran to the furthest part and ducked down, turning off the flashlight and hiding behind gowns that went all the way down to the floor. Sasuke slowed his breathing and carefully put his hand over his mouth to muffle any unwanted noise. Sasuke held the Freddy plush and the flashlight to his chest as he scooted ever so slightly to the corner of the small wardrobe section.
Sasuke felt his back hit the wall and he slightly relaxed. Sasuke jumped and snapped his head towards the closet doors when he heard metal scraping on wood outside the closet. The doors were smashed open and one of the bots walked in. Sasuke noticed that it was Bonnie. Sasuke felt a shiver crawl up his spine when he heard the rabbit speak. "Evaaaan~ Come out and play~" he taunted. Sasuke felt his hair stand on end. Somehow, he kept his breathing from getting out of control. Although his heart was pounding and threatening to explode out of his chest, Sasuke focused on keeping his breathing slow and silent.
While Bonnie was looking around the closet, Sasuke remembered something. William had wanted to give the animatronics heat vision. Sasuke felt his hair stand on end. Sasuke prayed that these versions of the animatronics didn't have it. Sasuke felt the soft fur of his Freddy toy and he calmed slightly. Sasuke heard Bonnie walk back his way and the rabbit stood right in front of the clothes rack Sasuke was hiding behind. Sasuke's heart beat faster and he held his breath, staying silent. Bonnie crouched down and reached into the wardrobe section. Sasuke was grateful as hell that it went back about 4 feet from him. Bonnie felt around and made his way towards where Sasuke was.
Sasuke pressed himself against the wall and squeezed his eyes shut. Sasuke felt something prick his left arm and his eyes opened in horror from the immediate pain he felt. Sasuke ever so slowly turned his head to the left to see Bonnie pressing a finger into Sasuke's arm and the rabbit had his head just past the gowns, eyes aglow. It seemed like Bonnie was smiling at him. "Hi." Bonnie said. Sasuke swallowed and stayed silent and still. The rabbit removed his claw from Sasuke's arm and then grabbed it and yanked Sasuke out of the wardrobe. Sasuke closed his eyes as pain flooded him...
Sasuke woke up and screamed. He sat up quickly and threw the covers off of himself and swung his legs over the side of the bed. Sasuke quickly went into the bathroom and checked his head, checking for any wound. He looked all over himself to figure out where the pain had come from. It had come from his head and his torso. Bonnie had grabbed Sasuke's head and sunk his claws in. And then he had bit down on Sasuke's side. Sasuke whimpered and dropped to his knees. He knew he that it wasn't really him. Michael had been there. And no one called him the right name.
Sasuke knew he had to have been seeing through his dreams cousin Evan's eyes...Sasuke hugged his knees to his chest and rested his forehead on his arm as he began to cry. "I'm sorry Evan..." Michael had told Sasuke about how Evan had died. And that dream was different than Michael had said. Sasuke continued to cry and he slightly shook. Evan had been terrified in his last moments. And Michael was powerless. Sasuke remembered something right before he was bitten. Michael had screamed Evan's name. Indicating he didn't want to lose his brother. Sasuke deduced that Michael had said that Evan died in the hospital, just because he thought Sasuke wouldn't beleive the truth.
Sasuke continued to cry and he heard a scratch at the door. Must be Leon. Sasuke reached up and opened the door. Leon trotted into the bathroom and pushed the door closed with his nose. Leon wriggled his way into Sasuke's hold and licked the Brit's face. Sasuke held Leon in his lap and cried into the dog's chest, still unsure on how to process what he experienced and the new information on his cousins. Sasuke was able to calm down with Leon's help. The akita sat in front of Sasuke and place a paw on Sasuke's knee. Sasuke smiled and patted the dog's paw. "Thanks bud." Sasuke said quietly. Leon laid his head on Sasuke's chest. Sasuke sighed and closed his eyes.
Sasuke heard a knock on the door. "Yeah?" Sasuke called. "A-are you ok...?" Gregory called from the other side. Sasuke smiled. "For a 10 year old, you're quite perceptive." Sasuke said as he opened the door. Gregory stepped in and sat across from Sasuke. "Bad dream?" Sasuke nodded. "Wanna talk about it?" Sasuke chuckled. "Well someone's going to force me to if I don't. So sure." Gregory softly chuckled. Sasuke explained his nightmare in very defined detail. Gregory looked terrified by the end of it and Leon stayed pressed against Sasuke. Sasuke sighed when he saw Gregory's expression. "No worries. That was back in 83. There's more safety precautions now."
Gregory nodded. Sasuke smiled. "They don't want another lawsuit. And don't worry, once I'm in charge, I'll put way more safety precautions in place so no one gets hurt again. I promise." Gregory smiled. Leon whisper barked. Sasuke chuckled and rubbed the pup's head. Gregory smiled. Sasuke stood and opened the bathroom door. Gregory and Leon followed him out. Sasuke decided he'd hang out in the living room for a while. Sasuke and Gregory sat on the couch with the T.V. on and the volume really low. Leon sat across their laps and slept. Sasuke stroked the dog while he sat there. Gregory leaned against Sasuke, feeling tired. Sasuke looked out the window when he realized it was getting lighter outside.
Sasuke looked at his phone and saw that it was 7 in the morning. He was glad it was Saturday. Sasuke rested his head on the back of the couch. He heard a door open and saw Greg walk down the stairs. He looked freaked out like he'd just been blackmailed. Greg walked into the kitchen and grabbed something from the fridge. Greg turned around and just about screamed and dropped what he had grabbed when he saw Sasuke, Leon, and Gregory on the couch. Greg sighed and sat in the recliner chair next to the couch. Sasuke looked at Greg. "Seems we both had an odd way of starting the weekend, huh?"
Greg nodded. "What happened with you?" Sasuke looked down. "Nightmare. You?" Greg nodded. "Same." Sasuke and Greg both looked at the T.V. and noticed it was the early morning news. "Kids gone missing from Freddy's. That bullshit again?" Greg remarked. Sasuke sighed and felt uncomfortable. Greg looked at Sasuke. "Something on your mind?" Sasuke shook his head. "Nope." Greg shrugged. "They used to talk about this in the 80's. Big mystery what happened to the oldest son. He just up and disappeared one day. Not even a death record for the poor guy." Sasuke sighed. "Greg... Were you ever told who their other relatives were...?" Greg looked confused.
"No?" Sasuke took a deep breath. "Those are... Our cousins... It's just that no one really liked to associate with uncle William..." Greg stared at Sasuke. "But you..." Sasuke nodded. "Me and Michael got along really well, actually." Greg's jaw dropped. Sasuke shrugged. "I'm thinking of hanging at Freddy's, you wanna come with?" Greg shrugged. "Sure." Sasuke nodded. This weekend was probably going to be boring as shit...
