Danvers Firm & L Corp
Well meeting was a complete chaos.
As soon as kara, winn and alex entered the conference room, both lena and kara shouted "You!" , lena said it in a more venomous tone while kara said it in shock. Which in turn made the other persons confused. Sam asked,"Lee do you know them?". Lena"very vividly as she is the reason of my sour start of the morning". Kara whines at this. At that winn understood that lena is the lady kara was telling them about, both her and alex exchanged knowing looks and glace at kara with the look which said DAMN Your Luck!
kara got over her initial shock and again apologised to her for the earlier incident on which lena coldly said " i can only hope that your business prospect is better than your walking style on road". At that alex got defensive and said "Hey! No need to be rude she already apologised for her part in the incident like a zillion times and even offered to pay for your dry cleaning bill, cut her some slack, will you". Lena"what you mean her part of the incident, everything was clearly her fault". Winn" If i recall it correctly you both collided and not kara bumping in you, so that means you were also not seeing where you were going , ryt". This made lena super angry. Lena," what do you know, you were not even ther...." before lena could complete her sentence sam cut her short and tried to bring the situation under control so that a prospective deal doesn't slip from their hands because of some children banter. Sam" i am sure we all can forget and forgive and look forward towards are mutually beneficial deal for which we have gathered here." Kara with a sigh said" Ms you are right. Allow me to introduce ourselves I am Kara Danvers, the MD, they are alex and Winn, the associate partners of Danvers Firm ". Sam" hello! I am sam Arias, the cfo and here is lena, the ceo of LCorp".
After their introduction all tried to stay civil for the purpose of meeting except lena who was once in a while sending killer glares towards kara who purposely avoided looking at her. After the meeting was successful concluded. Surprisingly they decided to work together where Danvers firm will handle the legal matters of the L corp for a year. Though lena didn't want anything to do with kara but kara's presentation was very impressive that lena couldn't deny the collaboration even if she wanted. Sam" guys! Since we are now official partners why not start it with a little celebration ". Winn" I just so know the place" Both kara and alex said, " winni!". Winn"What?". Kara and alex" That place is for partying and NOT for business celebrations ". This perked lena and sam's attention " what is the place she is talking about". Alex" its this new club, very popular ". Lena" we should go". Kara" You won't like it". Lena" who the hell asked you." Sam" Ahh! Guys ! Lets not start this again, kara we can see the club and if we are not comfortable we can leave." Kara gave a little smile on that.
At Danvers Firm
kara" i dont think it's a good idea to go to Paradise Club"
winn and alex" jeez kara, chill a little". kara" i don't have a good feeling about it, but you know what, lets see what happens."
" Thats the kara we know" alex said.
At L Firm
sam" lena i looked up the club, kara was right it is no place for business celebrations, i mean we have recently collab with them, shouldn't this place be more formal and less... intimate?"
lena" hey sam , there is nothing we cant handle". Little did lena know that what the night holds for her.
At the Paradise Club
kara " they should have reached here by now". Alex and winn were ignored kara who has been saying the same sentence for last 20 mins instead both the girls were busy chatting with the manager of the club their old friend.
After 10 more mins, kara spotted someone familiar which made her stop breathing. There it was, lena and sam making their way towards kara's table in the club. Now lena was standing in front of her in her all glory, looking fabulous in her black backless dress. She coughed to gain kara's attention which startled kara and in her rush to stand up and greet the goddess before her, she stumbled upon her legs and fall forward taking lena along with her. She switched their positions in mid fall unconsciously so that lena don't take the impact of the fall. Lena shrieked which got the attention of every one who gasped upon seeing the scene before them. Lena had fallen on the top of kara with her lips on kara's throat and kara groaned on the impact and her hands were on the bare back of the lena holding her tight. Lena lifted a little and saw those baby blue orbs again staring at her in awe while kara saw the jade green eyes fill with surprise and then shyness and finally anger.
Lena got surprised on fall, then shy on feeling kara's hand on her bare back and then finally angry when she absorbed the whole situation. She abruptly stand up and shouted " WHAT'S WITH YOU AND COLLIDING WITH PEOPLE "
kara who was still in shock, slowly opened her mouth to say something but words failed her. Lisa came to her rescue. Meanwhile kara could only think about where lena's lips landed a little while ago.
