You were the twin sister of Kiba, a member of the Inuzuka clan. Though your whole family was loud and rambunctious, you were still considerate of others, which made up for how rambunctious Kiba has always been.
You and Kiba both got into the academy, and that's when you met Shino from the Aburame clan. Shino sat next to you and Kiba most of the time in class. Kiba always annoyed him while he sat face forward not minding him, all while you had to constantly apologize for your brother.
You started to like Shino when you and Kiba ended up in the same squad with Shino and Hinata, the only 5-man squad created due to odd number of people who graduated. As you guys hung out more, you took a liking to Shino. Kiba found out, mostly because you had accidentally blabbed it to him when you were 13.
"No way, really?" he gave you a toothy, teasing grin as he got up in your face about it.
"Not so loud, Kiba" you had nervously muttered, looking around to make sure nobody heard.
"I can't believe out of everyone, you like Shino" he said excitedly, and you shoved his face away from yours as your cheeks flushed red.

From that point on, Kiba made jokes about it whenever he could. He never told Shino, because he knew better than that. He had more respect for his sister than to go and tell her crush that she liked him. However, he teased and teased and teased.
Hinata found out when you were 13, during a mission after Shino became upset due to his weakness of Taijutsu and the failure to capture a villain. That was years ago, you're now 19 years old and still single. You never made a move on Shino, mostly because you were scared. However, you guys are close that one might think you're a couple. You and Shino hang out alot, because Hinata is busy with Naruto all the time and Kiba has other things to do for some reason.
"I don't like third wheeling my sister, it's weird" is what he said a few years ago, and you just stuck with it.
Today though, team 10 decided to grab korean barbeque together, because you were full grown adults with adult money and you were all free by chance.
"I can't believe it's been so long since we've all gone out together" you say, Shino nods and Kiba just pipes up with a "for sure".
"It's a nice break from missions and work though" Hinata says.
"yea for sure" you respond as everyone sits down into their seats.
"How's your marriage been going?" Kiba asks Hinata, "you know, since you decided to marry the number one unpredictable ninja" he laughs and you kick his feet under the table.
"It's been going good, me and Naruto are happy" she smiles.
"I bet you guys are, especially after that long ass honeymoon you guys took together" Kiba says, and Hinata almost chokes on the meat she's eating.
"K-Kiba" she goes bright red and you almost snap your brothers neck right then and there.
"If you're gonna say that, you might as well have asked straight up how long they've been raw-dogging it" you say, and it makes Hinata go even more red.
"if you guys really want to know, just use the word sex" Shino joins the conversation. You and Kiba laugh as Hinata's red cheeks flare up.
"don't ask me about that" She pouts, taking meat from the grill to eat.
"fine fine, we have other people to talk about regarding that anyways" Kiba says, and you narrow your eyes at him.
"Like who?" you bring your glass of water up to your mouth to drink.
"Haven't you and Shino been raw-dogging it for a while now?" you spit out your water, then you start coughing as you go bright red.
"K-Kiba-" Hinata starts but you angrily look at your brother and cut her off.
"Wh-what??" You say, and Kiba's smirks.
"What do you mean what? You like Shino, don't you?" Hinata is in awe, and Shino is dead silent. Your face is flushed red, eyes flared with anger as you stand up abruptly.
"Kiba what the hell"
"Oh shit… wait have you not…?"
"I would've told you if I did!" you reply angrily, collecting all your stuff before beginning to leave.

"Since we were on that one mission when we were 15 years old, in which we had to find that lost toddler who wandered into the woods behind it's house" he says, and he looks down at his hands nervously as he continues, "there was a feeling in my stomach, as one would describe as butterflies, when I saw you pick up the child while it was crying and you consoled it gently, like a mother would"
You could feel your heart start to ache for Shino, how heartwarming it was to hear about how he fell for you.
"The toddler was 4 and was crying non-stop, but you managed to calm it and that's the moment I fell for you." His face looked content, with a content smile on his face as his hands trembled nervously.
"that's…" your voice trailed off, you were completely speechless.
"Later on during that same mission, I realized how much of a teenager I still was when you and Hinata went to that one small lake we found afterwards to camp near by" his face was flaring up again with blush, "I went to go tell you guys that Kiba wanted to go fishing for food, but when I came from the trees Hinata was in the lake with her clothes on the side.
