The Akimichi household
“I wonder how yesterday was for everybody it must have been so hard for them.,” Karui said.
Karui was the wife of Chouji Akimichi. The pair became a couple a little while after the war. He would take her on little romantic dates around Kohana.
She did like the little dates they had whenever she came to the village. Over time her feelings for him grew more and they soon became a couple. And not too long after she ended up pregnant with their son Tomi.
After Karui had Tomi she was very happy because he came out a very healthy baby with no complications. She didn't start to worry until Tomi didn't start to show the Akimichi traits. He had a small figure when he was younger instead of the plump Akimichi body. He can still do the Akimichi jutsu but he doesn’t look like a regular Akimichi and as he got older he grew a little muscular figure. After finding out the issue with Tomi's body and learning he could still do his dad's family's jutsu Karui still decided to teach him sword fighting just to be safe.
As she was thinking of her lovely son he was standing in front of her looking nervous.
"Tomi why are you standing there looking nervous?"
"Cause I wanted to ask you something."
"Ok sweetie ask away." she turned to put her computer down and had all her attention on him now.
“Mom so you know about my locs right?,”
“Yes Tomi I noticed your locs I can clearly see them on your head.,” Karui said laughing at her son.
“Well mom I wanted to know if you would comb them out for me please,” he asked with pleading eyes.
“Sure but why you were scared of asking me.”
“Cause Mom you be looking like you don’t want to be bothered sometimes.”
“But you’re my child so it doesn’t matter if I look like I don’t want to be bothered. You’re my child so you need to ask me things and if I say I’m not bothered to leave me alone ok and we’ll get back to what you're going to ask me when I’m unbothered okay.”
“Okay mom.,” Tomi rolled his eyes as she pulled him into a hug.
“Don’t act like that you know I love you and your sister.” She chuckled.
“Yeah mom anyways I want you to comb them out when I’m on break again which is next week.” he picked up his car keys ready to go outside.
“Ok but where are you going? You haven’t asked me to go anywhere.,” crossing her arms and staring at him.
“Well mom if you must know.”
“What you mean if I must know young man?,” moving her hands to her hips and looking at him.
“Mom!!”
“Tomi Akimichi you better tell me where you’re going right now before I take those keys. I need to know where going I want to know if it's going to be safe or not ok.,” She said in a serious tone.
A shiver ran done Tomi's spine he knew when she used that voice she wasn’t joking.
“Ok mom I’ll tell you.”
“Ok so where are you going?,” she asked sipping on her drink.
“How did you get that drink so fast?”
“You do know I used to be a ninja right?”
“I know mom but you could have just said “Tomi when you weren’t paying attention I went into the kitchen and grabbed a drink” mom.” rolling his eyes.
“Tomi!!”
“Okay mom!! I’m going to the movies."
"But you can watch movies at home." taking a sip of her drink.
"Well the crew wanted to celebrate me being back from my witch training, so we decided that we were going to go to the movies and maybe eat after." he shrugged.
"Okay but by the crew you mean Menma them or some other friends."
"Yeah Menma, Tobi, Sakumo, Krev, Hamaru, Ace, and the girls. That's it."
"Ok sweetie you need any more or anything?"
"No dad gave me some money he said for me to leave the house just don't forget to tell you." putting on his jacket.
"Wait so what movie are you guys seeing?" Raising her eyebrows.
"It's either the new Black Panther movie, Megan, or the new Avatar movie."
"So you guys haven't decided." Karui said making a face.
"We'll decide when we get there mom you know how we are." on his way out the door.
"Alright Tomi have fun okay and be careful." Karui said as she watched him walk out the door.
"Ok mom love you."
"I love you too.," she waved as he pulled out the driveway.
"Kids they can be so indecisive." Karui mumbled as she went into the kitchen to get dinner started.
"Chouji!!"
"Yes!!" Chouji yelled back as he started to walk toward the front of the house.
"I'm going to make birria tacos tonight for dinner is that okay with you."
“Yeah babe that's good whatever you want to eat really. You know I love your food either way babe." he hugged her from behind and leaned over her shoulder to place a kiss on her lips.
"Ok and where are you going mister?" she turned to face him still in his embrace.
"I'm going to check up on Shikamaru and Ino to make sure everything went ok with their moms after finding out that their dads are back alive and everything." he smiled as he kissed her again.
"Ok I love you and be careful." she gave him one last kiss before he let her go.
"I will Beautiful and I love you too." he ended as he walked out the door.
"Well since I'm here by myself I can get the food done and go back to watching my show after I send that paperwork to the salon." she jumped happily as she went to do the last of her task for today.
"Thank you Kami-sama." Karui said as she turned on her chill playlist.
At the Hatake household
"Kakashi stop!!," Iruka laughed as Kakashi continued to kiss his face.
"Why though.," Kakashi chuckled as he continue to attack his face.
"Cause I'm cooking dinner," Iurka replies as he tried to push him away.
"But I love you and I want to be around all day every day." he pouted.
"Well you're in anbu also maybe I don't want to be around all the time ever thought of that." he smiled as he turned to face Kakashi.
"You know you love being around me all the time." Kakashi smiled.
"Damn I love seeing this and having this for the rest of my life." Kakashi thought as he looked down and smiled at Iruka.
"What are you smiling at.," Iruka blushed as he looked up at Kakashi.
"Just about how I have the most amazing husband in the whole wide world.," he chuckled as he saw Iruka's blush spread wider across his face.
“Don’t say things like that you know I don’t like blushing. Now let me get back to cooking dinner or else it will burn and the only option left is your cooking.,” Iruka turned to focus on dinner again.
” What's wrong with my cooking what are you trying to say.," Kakashi raised his eyebrows.
"You know what I'm trying to say and it's that you can't cook sorry if it hurts your feeling babe."
“But I can cook the kids will tell you right now that I’m the better cook out of both of us and you know it.”
Iruka crossed his arms and stared at Kakashi with a “are you being serious or slow” look.
“Why are you looking like that Iruka you afraid of a little competition. Scared the kids going to say my food is better.,” raising his hands in the air and backing away from him.
“You want to bet?” Iruka said crossing his arms.
“Let’s place a bet babe cause you know they’re going to say they love my cooking more than yours. How much are you putting down?,” he smirked.
“300.”
“Deal 300 it is love.,” he winked as he turned to go get the kids.
” He’s so slow he knows damn well he doesn’t cook better than me. I better go make sure he doesn’t bribe them to say he is though.,” Iruka thought as he turned off the stove and ran out of the kitchen.
“Kakashi!! You better not bribe them you idiot!!,” he shouted as he ran up the stairs.
The Senju Compound
Tsunade was sitting in her living room waiting for her youngest grandson Naruto Uzumaki to tell her the news on if Jiraiya and their son are back alive. If they were who else was alive her curiosity was getting the best of her to the point she was becoming even more anxious.
"Ugh what's taking him so long.," Tsunade rolled her eyes at the thought.
"Naruto needs to come on before I walk over to that house and drag him out by his ear," she mumbles.
10 minutes later
"I know Naruto wouldn't be this late on purpose it has to be that damn Uchiha when I see him I'm going to ring that motherfucker's...," she ranted just as the doorbell rang interrupting her.
"Naruto Uzumaki that better be your ass at that door or I mean some serious business if it ain't!!!," she shouted as she went to open the door.
"Yes granny it's me.," he smiled as she opened up the door.
"So you have any good news for me.," she opened the door wider to let him in.
"Yeah.," he said as he sat down on the couch.
"Naruto gone on and tell her to get it over with," Kurama commented laying his head on his paws.
"Okay but Kurama how do I break the news to her?"
"Just tell her like this "Hey granny your baby daddy and your son are back alive" just like that plain and simple." closing his eyes.
"Can't ask you anything Kurama you're so insensitive.," he crossed his arms and rolled his eyes at the giant fox.
"Oh well you asked me how you should tell her and I gave you the answer. Also look at you learning a big word like insensitive.," he laughed opening his eyes and looking at the now mad Uzumaki.
"Shut up you dumb fox! And you and I both know that I faked being dumb so don't even try it.," he pouted and puffed out his cheeks.
"Whatever bye Naruto I'm trying to sleep and you're ruining it.," pushing Naruto out of the mind space.
"Did he just kick me out! Oh Kurama later we're going to have a big talk about this.," he spoke as he turned to his grandma who was walking back into the room.
"You was talking with Kurama?," she questioned as she offered him some tea.
"Yes!! He doesn't give good advice Granny.," Naruto commented as he took a sip of the tea.
"I can tell." chuckling at Naruto's facial expression.
"IT AIN'T FUNNY!"
"Ok." she held up her hands to surrender.
"I'll let it slide this time.," he smiled putting down the mug.
"Ok now that's out the way go ahead and give me the news.," Tsunade put her mug down with a serious face.
"Well grandpa and dad is back alive.," he stared at her waiting for a response.
"GRANNY!!," running to check on Tsunade.
Tsunade fainted.
