How they came to be
This chapter is going to talk about how some of the Rookie 9 couples came to be together and how they met their partners.
Deidra and Itachi got together while they were in the Akatsuki the two became closer and bonded. Deidara later figured out after a few months of their friendship that he didn't just love Itachi as a friend but as a lover. With his new development of realizing his feelings, Deidara confessed his love to Itachi which he reciprocated and the two got together. After getting into the relationship 6 months later Deidara found out he was pregnant with the twins ( Ace & Yodo).
When realizing this news Itachi and Deidara faked their deaths and left the Akatsuki they didn't want Their kids to have a bounty on their heads and not be able to live a normal life. The pair stayed hidden until the twins turned two that's when they decided they wanted their kids to go to a good school when they got older. So Itachi and Deidara ventured to the Hidden Leaf village and had their names cleared by Kakashi when he was Hokage and the rest is history.
With Naruto and Sasuke adjusting to having Itachi and Deidara in the village, Naruto found it weird that he and Deiadara looked so much alike. The two decided to ask Tsunade to do a DNA test on them to see if they had any sort of relation. Instead of that Tsunade told them that she was their biological grandmother she was the mother of their father Minato.
She explained to Naruto that Deidara was his older brother that was kidnapped a little while before he was conceived. And how their parents were looking for Deidara but since Kushina found out she was pregnant with Naruto both she and Minato had the stop the search for him. Kushina wanted the search to continue soon after she had Naruto however since she and Minato died they never go the chance to find him and reunite their family.
When Naruto and Deidara found out the news the two decided to have bounding so they would be able to get to know each other better which worked very well. Naruto does not go a day without somewhat annoying his older brother even though Deidara threatens to blow him up on every occasion.
When Sasuke was brought back to the village Naruto Finally realized that he wasn't just chasing him to just bring him back to Sakura he was chasing Sasuke to bring him back home and to him. When Naruto finally gained the courage to confront his feelings about Sasuke he decided to go and visit the Uchiha in his cell and tell him about his feelings. Sasuke admitted that while he was gone he came to a realization that he loved Naruto and that their bond was so much deeper than he thought it was and that's why he wanted to end their bond.
After the two talked it out and figured out they wanted the relationship to be more Naruto decided he was going to convince the council to give Sasuke a different punishment. The council did agree with Naruto so they decided to come up with a punishment that would be suitable for the Uchiha. When all the disputes came to an end Naruto and Sasuke moved forward with their lives after a year of being together Naruto found out he was pregnant with triplets.
When the triplets were around 3 or 4 years old someone broke into the Uchiha mansion while the family was sleeping and stole baby Kawaki. Naruto and Sasuke did look for Kawaki but the two were always led to dead ends until recently they had finally been recently been reunited with him.
After they found him they were shocked to find out that he suffered from severe PTSD from being experimented on and abused. Naruto and Sasuke were very upset when they found out this news they wanted to kill whoever did that to their child. Naruto and Sasuke calmed down after a while and decided to find ways to where Kawaki could get help with his PTSD so they had him set up with a private therapist he could talk to in case he didn't feel comfortable with them just yet. They really didn't have to get a therapist because Kawaki naturally gravitated to both Naruto and Sasuke whenever he had a problem which the two were very happy about.
Gaara and Lee got together when they were 16 and 14 and they have been married for almost twenty years. Lee had been in Suna for a four-month anbu mission while he was there he decided he didn't want his feelings to go unknown and miss his chance with Gaara so he confessed. Gaara admitted that he had grown feelings for Lee too so the pair hit off. As Lee was doing his mission he would take Gaara out on little dates and give him little gifts here and there.
When the war ended Lee proposed to Gaara after everything had cooled down after being engaged for a year Gaara found out he was pregnant with their oldest son Hamaru. After finding out this news Lee went to stay in Suna to make sure no harm happened to Garra while he was pregnant. Gaara had a healthy pregnancy but with Lee staying in Kohana Lee decided he wanted to be able to protect them at all costs so he moved to Suna to stay close to them. Sixteen years later Lee moved back to Kohana with their younger Metal and daughter Amora to help with the school's taijutsu unit. Gaara stayed in Suna with their adoptive son Shinki and oldest son Hamaru doing his daily Kazekage duties with weekly video and in-person check-ups from his husband.
Shikamaru and Neji started being with each other a little while after the war the pair started off as friends with benefits. Shika came to a realization that he wanted to be with Neji in a relationship which he confessed to him 8 months during their friends and benefits ordeal. Neji confessed also that he had feelings for Shikamaru and that he wanted their relationship to be more as well. They did have to go through challenges to be together but it was all worth it, in the end. Neji and Shikamaru ended up having a set of twins named Sora (Sky) and Tobikima( Flying Cloud) After the twins they had a son named Shikadai and a daughter named Hanami.
Kiba and Kank had been together a year before the war happened a year or two after the war ended Kiba found out he was pregnant with his twins Kai and Krev. Wanting to get away from their families for a little while Kiba and Kankurou left without telling their friends and families living in a village not very far from Suna. A few years after having the twins Kiba fell pregnant again and gave birth to their younger daughter Nezuki. When the twins and Nezuki got older Kiba and Kankurou wanted to be reunited with their family and friends again. So the two of them moved back to Kohana and reunited with their friends and family.
Kakashi and Iruka have been together since Naruto left for his training and one year after the war they had their lovely daughter Menori. Iruka got pregnant three months after having which resulted in their son Sukumo and a year or two later their son Houki.
Sakura and Hinata got together as well during the time Naruto left the village as well which Sakura learned that she was not in fact in love with Sasuke but she loved Hinata. Sakura grew to love Hinata when the girl would spend time with her and Lady Tsunade learning how to do medical ninjutsu. A year after the war ended Sakura decided she wanted to be with the girl that made her happy and become a better person so she proposed to Hinata and the two tied the knot. Hinata had wanted to start a family so she and Sakura went to lady Tsunade and she gave them a jutsu that made it possible for them to have kids. Which resulted in them having two beautiful daughters.
Chouji and Karui got together a little while after the war as well by going on dates and having just quality alone and they slowly fell in love with each other later the pair had their oldest child Tomi and later their baby child Chouchou.
Tenten got with her wife Temari not long after Neji gave birth to the twins learning that she was developing feelings for Temari while they had their "casual" meet-ups when she came to the village. The pair soon got married not too long after they both confessed their feelings.
So that is how most of them got together with their partners and how some are related to one another as well. Also, I know some of the clans have interbreeding but all of the ones besides the Uchihas weren't interbred.
Like I said I know this is all over the place cause it's just my brain cause one minute it may be a chapter where they're singing and the next may be them being crazy cause believe you will see some crazy moments.
