Today was the day I was graduating from the academy, being only 6. I graduated two months before Itachi. It was very taxing on my mind and body. I felt like I could pass out any second.

My head hurt, my Chakra was low, and my emotions were out of control. I didn't feel as calm and composed as usual. So it would be best if I went home for the night, but things never

turn out how you expect them.

Someone was watching me. I didn't know who or where they were, but I knew they were there. I was cautious on my way home, taking more time than usual to get there.

It was only when I headed to my training ground that they revealed themselves.

"Uchiha Kaoru, is it?"

I turn to look at the voices owner, Danzo. First things first, to gain his interest. AKA kissing his ass.

"Yes, Sir," I say as I bow politely.

Danzo slowly but surely approaches me. Taking small steps in my direction. His left eye was covered in a bandage, leaving only his right eyes to analyze me.

"Kaoru, what do you plan on doing now that you've graduated?"

"I plan on serving Konoha, Sir."

He let out a thoughtful hum at my reply. Operation gain his intrest is a success. Second, to make him want me in the anbu.

"Kaoru."

"Yes, Sir?"

"How long do you suspect it'll take you to become a Chunin?"

I suppress a small smile, knowing operation two was in motion, " 3 years, Sir."

After yesterday's conversation, I had a new found motivation to work hard for my plan to work. Today was the day I met my team.

I was currently waiting on the roof of the academy with two other members. We were waiting for our sensei to show up.

I had never seen either of them before. One was a female, and the other was a male. The girl had long, light brown pulled back into a high ponytail. The male had messy black hair that went down to his nape.

During my analysis, our sensei finally decided to stop by.

"Sorry for the wait. Let's start with introducing ourselves. Say your likes and dislikes and your reason for wanting to become a shinobi. You first," He said, pointing towards the girl.

"Tanaka Yuri. I like the outdoors and the color purple. I dislike salty foods. I became a shinobi because my father was one," She finished, them laying her elbows behind her to prip herself up.

I was next.

"Uchiha Kaoru. I like my younger brothers. I dislike abnoxious people. I became a shinobi to protect my family," I said, offering no more and no less.

"Yamada Rei. I like winter. I dislike bugs. I became a shinobi to survive," The messy haired boy concluded.

"Alright, my turn. I'm Amari Kin. I lied to read and dislike having to spend money. I became a shinobi because my friends were."

Me and my teammates' deadpaned at that. Sensei didn't look like the follower type. He had short, unkempt red hair and bright green eyes.

He suddenly clapped his hands together, "Alright, meet me at training ground 1 tomorrow at this time," He said before disappearing in a poof of smoke.

I guess I was too concentrated on sensei to realize Tanaka's approaching pressence.

"You're really short, you know. Baby faced, too. There's no way you're as old as us," She justured between herself and Yamada.

"I'm six."

There was an uneasy quiet as the two older teammates glanced back and forthbat each other, their mouths gapping open like fish.

"You're literally half our age! How are you on our team? Are you a prodigy or something?"

"Or something," Is all I responded with, I have better things to do at the moment.

-

As I arrived home, I took note of both Fugaku and Itachi's absences. Hopefully, the old man isn't being too hard on him, I hope.

I enter the living room, and Mikoto ushers me over to her.

"Ah finally, Kaoru, I need you to watch Sasuke while I go out for a bit. Your father was supposed to, but who knows where he went."

Mikoto didn't even let me answer before she turned around and walked out of the hallway. Sasuke was currently asleep in his crib. I honestly didn't mind watching him, so I sat on the rocking chair that was in Sasuke's bedroom and started to study a bit.

I decided to do research on the Uchiha's family lineage. After I discovered my Chakra nature's, earth and water. It's rare for Uchiha's to not possess fire Chakra, but for some reason, I don't.

My Sharingan awoke the moment I awoke in this world. I haven't trained it much due to me keeping its existence a secret. But it's time to use its power.

The next day, I arrived at training ground 1 at the agreed time, and surprisingly, no one was late.

"Alright, the test will begin."

Tanaka and Yamada looked at sensei in suprise, not because of what he said but because he was lunging at Yamada with a kunai in his hand.

Me and Tanaka were quick to act. Tanaka blocked the kunai from hitting Yamada while I held one to his neck. Amari sensei seemed a bit surprised on how quick on our feet we were.

"..Nicely done, you passed."

Even after he said that, Tanaka and Yamada gave him funny looks. I don't think being on this team will be half bad.

Our first D mission was to assist the academy in survival training. Surprisingly, team 1 got assigned to help my twin brothers class. When Itachi spotted me, he visually stiffened.

Suddenly, a hand made contact with my shoulder, shaking it lightly.

"Oi, is that your younger brother?" Yamada asked.

I nodded.

"Wow, you two have the same baby face going on and everything. Hey! Don't give me that look," Tanaka said as I glared at her.

"How come your hair isn't black, though? Don't most Uchiha's have black hair?" Yamada asked.

"I don't know."

Amari sesei stopped our conversation from continuing by giving us tasks to do before we head out into the forest. Luckily, I got the job to double-check the supplies while Tanaka and Yamada were told to help carry it.

I mostly ignore everything the teacher was telling the kids, even though most of them were older than me. Itachi was currently in the class that was next to graduate. Hopefully, they weren't picking on him, or otherwise, these kids would soon be having a conversation with my fists.

So far, Team 1 has completed eleven D missions. Tanaka was really starting to get antsy. To be honest, I was, too.

Team 1 stood in the Hokage's office awaiting our next mission.

"Congratulations," he paused," your first C mission."

He handed the paperwork to Amari.

"What is it?" Tanaka was first to ask.

"An escort mission. We are escorting a sword Smith to the land of fire."

Tanaka was practically jumping in joy, while Yamada could've cared less.

"Grab supplies and meet me at the gates in an hour," Sensei dismissed us.

-

Before I packed, I made sure to bid Sasuke and Itachi goodbye.

"Goodbye? Why are you saying goodbye? You're coming back, right?" Itachi asked me a bit nervous.

This was probably the most emotion I've seen from him in a while.

"Don't worry, Itachi. This is goodbye forever. Just goodbye for now," I made sure to give him a small smile before heading back to my room to pack.

As I was packing, I received an unsuspecting visitor, Fugaku.

"A mission outside of Konoha? Already?"

Is this his way of trying to sound concerned if so? It's not really working.

"Yep, Mikoto isn't home, so tell her I left."

The look on Fugaku's face when I called my mother by her given name made me feel a bit satisfied. As bad as it does sound.

-

Me and Amari sensei arrived at the gate at the same time. He looked a bit surprised to see me ready so soon, but his face quickly turned passive. Interesting, I wonder what else he hides under that facade of his.

Tanaka was next to arrive, and she attempted to sneak up on us but horribly failed. It was kinda sad, to be honest. She hid in the bush behind me and jumped out to scare me. I was more scared of her face than her jumping out on me, though.

I should probably keep that to myself, though.

Yamada slowly walked towards the gates, not even putting in any effort to go faster when he realized we were waiting on him.

Tanka held up her middle finger up at him. He returned it.

"Alright, we will meet up with the blacksmith in a village not too far from here. Approximately an hours walk," sensei told us.

Yamada sighed and grumbled a bit but continued walking none the less. Tanaka seemed a lot more pumped up than necessary for this mission, but no one told her that.

-

We made it to the village earlier than expected. It was a nice town if I were being honest, very cozy. Everyone seemed to know each other, and they were very welcoming to us.

We were told to meet the blacksmith at his house. It was as small, not in a bad way, but in a homey way. It was an unusual color, blue.

Sensei knocked on the door. I expected to see some hunched over old man, but was surprised to see a young man in his late 20s. He was quite plain though.

"Ah, you must be from the leaf village. Let me grab my stuff, and I'll be right out," the plain man said, shutting the door in our face.

If I cared enough, I would have been a bit offended, but I didn't care. The man came back outside wearing a huge backpack. It's a bit obnoxious if I were to say.

"My name is Sato Teru. What about you guys?" A boring name for a boring person.

"I'm Amari Kin."

"Tanka Yuri!"

"Yamada Rei."

"...Uchiha Kaoru."

Sato gave us a smile full of pity. Seems like the guy is against child soldiers. Don't get me wrong, so am I, but I don't have a choice.

-

We still had a few hours till we would get the land of fire. But we seemed to have caught the attention of someone we shouldn't have.

Rouge nin.

They weren't very powerful since I could pinpoint all three of their locations, but it would still cause a bit of trouble if they decided to attack.

From what I could gather from our visitors, they were all ether genin or chunin, no higher or lower. There were hiding in the trees a few yards away, most likely having a trap set up.

I knew Sensei noticed because his eyes seemed to be focused on their hiding spot. My hand slowly made its way to rest on my kunai pouch. In case I had to deflect any incoming weapons.

5 feet away.

That's how fare away I was when I realized the trap. A wire extended across the ground, barley visible to the human eye. Only see if the light hit it or with sharingan.

I don't plan to be the first to plan out the trap, for I'm not the one in charge. I know the Sensei has already seen the wire, but what will he do?

Sensei was the first one to step on the wire. Tanaka would have been the next if I hadn't pulled her back by her hood. She was about to yell at me but stopped when the kunai shot at Amari.

He made no attempt to defend or get away from the kunai. Because that was his clone. He used the substitution jutsu to get away. My teammates didn't realize that, though.

I was the first one to make action by moving in front of Sato. Protecting him. Tanaka and Yamada stood in horror for a moment longer before Yamada came to stand beside me.

Tanka didn't seem prepared for the shinboi life after all. I wonder how she'll react when she finds out that sensei is perfectly fine.

The three Rouge nin appeared from their hiding spots. All with smug satisfied grins on their face. Foolish men.

Oh, so stupid.

When they revealed themselves, Sensei came out from his hiding spot with a rope in hand. He used little to no effort to trap them it it. As soon as the attack started, it was over,

Tanaka was the most surprised out of all of us, as I suspected. She stood wide-eyed, looking at our sensei as if he were a ghost. She probably still believes he is one.
