The original characters are just the previous golden guards, since I technically gave them personalities, personalized looks, deaths, and names I felt like I should probably call them original characters.

Where do you run?

Luz stays in the demon realm during weekdays, with Eda. This way she can go to hexside and not have the hassle of worrying about switching between realms. Also the homework is something that her mother refuses to let her bring into the house. But on the weekends, Luz goes to stay with her mom. It’s nice–being able to see Eda and Camila.

During the summer she goes back and forth pretty much every other day. Though, sometimes, very rarely, her mom will spend the night at the owl house. Those nights are her favorite. In a way Eda and Camila are both her mom’s. Luz is pretty sure that they both know that.

It was hard at first. She missed her mom so much. After all, she is still a child. Luz tries to act older than she is, now-a-days. Once upon a time, back when Luz first arrived, she had a child-like wonder to her. That wonder died off eventually. She didn’t get to bury it either, it was lost in war. Eda offered to give it a tombstone, but Luz declined.

Phone calls with her mamá are nightly. She’ll prop herself up on the window ledge. She can see the boiling sea from there. “It's so beautiful mamá.” Luz smiles. The call is heavily distorted due to the atmosphere and electricity of the demon realm.

“What was that, mija?” Mamá would say, her voice was so glitchy. “I think the phone call is going to be cut off. I love you so much cariño.” She sounded like she was yelling into the speaker. Then Luz’s phone would vibrate, glitch, and finally disconnect from the call.

“I love you too, mom.” Luz would reply, her head tilted down. The phone would be pressed up against her chest, her heart. The girl wiped her eyes, before getting off the ledge and heading to bed. “Goodnight boiling isles.” Luz whispered to nothing.

Sometimes King would sleep with her. He’d come crawling into her room, and curl up at the end of her bed. Oh and she finally got a real bed. Well, she has no frame, but she claims that is an “aesthetic choice” whatever that could mean. Mami didn’t fight her on this, no matter how much she wanted to.

Over the months her room has acquired quite the look. The walls are filled with posters, sleeves, and vinyls. Her bed is right in the middle, against a wall of course. That would be ludacris if she didn’t do that. The sleeves have an assortment of things on them. Figures, books, and trinkets. Willow loves to come over and plant a flower in her hanging flower pot whenever she can. For some reason Luz always ends up killing it.

Back in the human realm, Luz spends most of her time with her mom and Vee. Not like she has any friends that aren’t witches, demons, or grimwalkers. It’s okay, she doesn’t need anyone else. Though it does hurt when she sees friend groups out and about. Like when Vee took her to the park and she saw a group that looked just like her friends all laughing at smiling while playing uno. She tried to play uno with the gang, but they just didn’t get it.

It's just a human thing, apparently. Luz can try and teach them, but what's the point? Mami says Luz is likely depressed. “Mija, I think you’re depressed.” Luz just laughed.

“Mamá’s right, Luz.” Vee chimed in. “You seem like you’ve lost your spark.” Luz couldn’t help but bawl up her fists and scrunch her face. “I’m sorry, Luz. I didn’t mean-”

“Just leave me alone.” Luz barked back, before running upstairs into her room. Well it wasn’t her room. Vee was here too, now. She slammed the door, as hard as she could. The whole house rattled as a result.

Luz, Gus, Matt, and two golden guards were all walking up the stairs together. She kept glancing back at Gus, who was only a step below her. Something about this rubbed Luz the wrong way. Well, obviously it would. Gus brought a bunch of dead, most definitely traumatized, people back from the dead. Even worse than that, he did it for an English project.

Before she could think anymore, her face was an inch away from her bedroom door. On it was a sticker reading “Humans only!” Under it were a few words scribbled in red marker, “Plus titans.” She giggled the first time she had seen it. King was walking away from the scene of the crime, red marker in hand. Luz never erased it, even though she could’ve.

“This is my room.” Luz announced, before opening the door. “You can sit wherever.” She says as warmly as possible. Adam looks around for a minute, before deciding to sit on the right side of the room. Luz, Gus, and Matt sit on the left side, backs against the wall.

“So, you’re okay with me interviewing you? I know you were angry down there.” Gus says, weakly. He looks very ashamed, which he should be.

“I’m not that mad anymore.” Adam shrugs. Todd is tapping the wooden floor with his fingers. There’s a nasty scar on his pinky. On both his pinkies actually. Was he born with it, or? Luz decided it was best if she didn’t ask, no matter how badly she wanted to.

“So I can ask you questions?” Gus looked very happy with this answer. Adam leaned towards the boy’s face, staring intently.

“Only if I get to ask one first.” Gus fell backwards, hitting his head on the wall, actually on the back of a thumbtack. Agruebally that hurt worst. He let out a groan as he rubbed the back of his scalp, in pain. Trying to nurse it back to health.

“Okay, sure.” He finally replied. “Ask away.”

“Why did you bring back so many of us? You could’ve just brought back one, yet you brought back like 10 plus.” Adam asks. Luz ends up nodding along, because she too was wondering the same thing.

“I didn’t really know what I was doing, if i’m being fully honest.” Gus replied, grimly. He looked at Matt, as if trying to get reassurance, but Matt seemed just as lost. “It’s nice that I got a few though, because imagine if I ended up with someone like that guy.” He said, pointing at Todd.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Adam snarled.

Gus opened his mouth, about to say the most out of pocket thing ever to defend himself, but Luz elbowed him before he could have the chance to fuck this up anymore than he already had. “Gus, this is when you shut up and let us do the talking.” Luz whispered in his ear. Gus nodded, rubbing his arm, where Luz had hit.

“Augustus is stupid.” Matt said. “As much as this pains me to say, he’s very very very dumb.”

“It feels like this type of thing doesn’t pain you that much.” Gus replied, scrunching up his face.

“Yeah, you’re right.” Matt let out a snort. “Anyways, we’re sorry for bringing back so many of you. I know this can’t be what you wanted to be doing.”

“Eh, to be fair, we don’t do much. We just hang around the bottom of the pit. We don’t talk, we haven’t in a while.”

“Why’d you stop?” Luz asks, pity in her voice.

“We all thought your friend was going to die soon. It was tense, waiting for another to join us. But then,” his voice hitches, “then he didn’t die. There was no body, no blood. So we moved, followed Belos around, like his shadow. We stayed quiet, so he felt safe enough to talk. And talk he did. He talked to the collector, mostly. Mainly about the day of unity.”

“Is that why you guys were fighting so much? Because this is the first time that you’ve been able to freely speak to one another?” Matt asks.

“There’s a number of reasons.” As Adam speaks, Luz notices that Gus had pulled out a spiral notebook and a pencil. He’s writing down most of what Adam is saying. “That was one, but mostly there’s just been a lot of tension. We all think we’re better than everyone else.”

“Or worse.” Todd adds, with a toothy smile.

Adam nods, “Yep. You can go on with your questions now, if you want.”

Gus bolts up, finally moving his face away from the paper. His pencil taps against the metal spirals as he begins. “What’s your greatest strength?”

“My muscles.” Adam flexs, it causes both Luz and Matt’s jaws to drop. “I mean what else could it be? I guess more specifically my arm muscles, if that’s what you meant.”

“Well my greatest strength is my ability to befriend almost everyone! I also have that main character plot armor.” Luz smirks at the camera–I mean what camera! CUT CUT!

“Who are you looking at?” Matt asks. Phew he can’t see me. “Luz? Helloooo?” He waves his hand around her. She snaps her head back towards him.

“Nothing!” Luz smiles deviously, before sticking her tongue out and spitting at him.

“Ew!” Matt squeals, she just laughs. “Gross! Human that is disgusting!” He wipes the slobber off of himself with his hand.

“Okay, let’s try to get back on topic here!” Gus says, rather loudly. Luz can still hear the tapping of the pencil. She winces at the sound. “Next question! What’s your biggest weakness?”

“Not having any magical abilities.” Adam says, point blank. Gus scribbles this down onto the paper. “That and I have a hard time lying.” He rubs the back of his head, awkwardly. “It’s a curse!” His hand makes a fist, he waves it up towards the ceiling.

“You’re a lot like Hunter.” Luz deadpans. “Sorry, I probably shouldn’t have said that.” She wishes she could turn back time and take those words back.

“It’s alright. Speaking of him, where is he?” Adam asks. “I know he didn’t come with us, but I swear I haven’t seen him since he blew up at everyone. Like I didn’t see him in the crowd.”

“Huh. Now that you say that, I didn’t see him after that either.” Matt says, in agreement. “But I don’t think it matters much.”

“No it does. Hunter shouldn’t be left alone. He’s very…” Luz pauses, wondering how to word this, “self destructive. Prone to destroying everything around him along with himself. It’s rare now.” The realization sets into Gus’s skin.

“We can pause the interview.” Gus announces. “Finding Hunter is our new top priority.” The five get up and head out of the bedroom. They stand in the hallway, idle. Luz takes this time to figure out a plan.

Eda opened up the door to her room. The place was pretty dark, given it’s main light source is the window, and it’s night. Nothing lighting a candle can’t fix. This sudden influx of brightness, wakes the sleeping king up. He lets out a small groan as he rubs his eyes.

“King, what are you doing up here?” Eda questions.

“Sleeping! Or at least I was.” King replies. “Turn off the light.” He says as he flops back into Eda’s nest.

“No. Also get out of my nest.” Eda says, walking over to him and picking him up. He lets out a little ‘weh’ as he struggles. “For titan’s sake.” She groans.

“Woah, who are those?” King gasps, as he notices the guards filing in. “When did you decide to start hosting parties?”

“Not a party, rather a family reunion for a certain blonde kid.” Eda snorts. “Anyways, these are the previous golden guards. Goops brought them all back from the dead.”

“What!” If king’s jaw could drop, it would’ve. “Why would he do that?”

“For a school assignment.”

“And you’re sure this wasn’t Amity who did this?” King replies. Eda can’t help but cackle at this.

“Can we stay on track?” Raine smiles. “We have a bunch of people who are just standing here.” Raine points to the four guards.

“Right,” Eda pauses, “what do we even do with them?”

“I’m not sure.” Raine rubs the back of their head. “What would you guys like to do to pass the time?” Raine asks the group.

“I could go for a snack.” Jeremy shrugs.

“Kitchen is occupied.” Eda replies almost instantly.

“We could duel!” Paul beams, as he puts both his fists up in a fighting formation.

“No fighting.” Eda groans. “I refuse to have my room get damaged anymore than it already has.”

“So we can’t do anything.” Paul mumbles.

“Do you have card games?” Caleb asks. “Like Hexes Hold'em?”

Eda shakes her head, “Nope, I just got over that addiction, I will not have that come back again.” Her arms are crossed, and her face is serious.

“Oh, alright then.” Caleb mutters, embarrassed.

“We could chat!” Raine offers.

“That’s so insensitive to Ronald!” Jeremey spits. “Wow!”

“Oh my titan.” Raine rubs their temples with their index finger and their thumb. “Okay, okay. No talking, no eating, no fighting, and no games.”

“Okay no I see it now.” Eda laughs. “Would you want to read? My sister, Lily, should have some books in her room.”

“And don’t say it’s insensitive because one of you can’t read.” Ranie says as Eda walks off to go fetch some books.

The Owl House is loud. Chatter and screams can be heard coming from various places. The screaming is primarily coming from Luz’s room, like an argument has erupted. Eda wants to come in, but right before she does, she can hear the guard apologize to Luz and Gus. Eda’s hand etches away from the door and she continues on. The door next to Luz’s is Lilith’s.

Lilith technically doesn’t live with Eda anymore, but it feels like she does. The woman is constantly coming over and having sleepovers with Hooty. It’s not all bad, though. She does enjoy seeing her sister.

The room isn’t anything unusual. A few bookshelves. A poster of herself when she was the icon for the emperor's coven–though it looks to be scratched out, likely from her raven beast–her bed is under it. A few potions are scattered on the table that’s been pushed up against the wall. The table is more of a wooden shelf. Eda's pretty sure that Steve made it for her.

Steve and Lilith are pretty close. He was the first person to suggest that Lilith should try to become the head of the Supernatural Museum of Natural History, after the day of unity. Eda had tried to convince her to do the same before, but Lilith didn’t listen. But she listened to Steve. If Hooty didn’t exist, Steve would probably be her best friend.

Eda walks over to the bookshelf and grabs a few books. Most are non-fiction, which isn’t unusual for Lilith. “Please don’t be mad at me for taking these.” Eda whispers to herself as she heads out, books in hand.

She opens her bedroom door, it’s very difficult as she has to get a hand free. Eda uses her chest to hold the books against the door, as she uses her hand to grab the doorknob. She has to be careful as to not stab the books with her hook.

It doesn’t go the way she’d like, because when the door opens, she drops the books, catches one via her hook and fumbles forward. The book prevents her from getting stabbed in the eye. Thank titan for this book.

All the people who are occupying her room stare at her. “Are you okay?” Raine asks.

“Yep, I’m fine, Rainestorm.” Eda says, slapping away the witch's hand. “I brought books, go on, take one.”

“A book is stuck in your hook.” Raine points to her hook. “Haha!” They begin to laugh, which makes Eda go red. She can’t help but admire Raine. Titan, how was she able to get them back. “Want help getting it out?” They ask.

“Nah, I’m good.” Eda smiles, and pulls out the book.

“You look like a pirate from a children's book.” Caleb laughs. “Sorry, was that rude?”

“No, you’ve got a point.” Eda says, looking down at herself. “Damn, I really do, huh?” She snorts, as it was entirely unintentional. “I was a pirate at one point, for like a day. I robbed an emperors’ coven ship.” She recalls this memory fondly. “Managed to save the life of a selkidomus.” She says proudly.

“Okay, everyone grab a book.” Raine instructs. “If you wanna read with a partner, you can. Me and Eda are probably just going to be chatting, but if you need help reading, we’ll help.”

“King, what are you doing?” Eda asks, raising an eyebrow.

“I wanna read.” Eda still looks unconvinced. “What! Is that so hard to believe?” King gasps, faking offense.

“Yes. Yes it is.” Eda replies. She stretches and yawns, “Titan, I need a nap. Raine hold our conversation, I’m exhausted.”, before plunging into her nest and cozying up.

Raine sighs, before sitting, back against the nest. “Can someone pass me that book?” Raine asks. Caleb nods and grabs the book, he then slides it towards Raine. “Thank you.” They smile, before opening the book up.

The others all now have a book and begin to read. Jeremy reads aloud to Ronald. The mute one’s head is resting on Jeremy’s shoulder. He’s watching the book, following along.

Caleb has a book titled, ‘Raising a child.’ Which is definitely odd, given the fact that Caleb doesn’t have a child, right?

Paul is reading, RULERZREACH. The book that King wrote. It’s full of violence, death, blood, betrayal, and more death. It’s rather poorly written, at least in most of the Owl House household's opinion. King scurries over towards Paul. “Hey!”

“What, rat?” Paul grunts, kicking the titan away.

“You have my book!” King smiles. Or at least, it’s assumed to be a smile. “Look, turn it over!” He says, excitedly. The creature is so hyper.

“Fine, if it’ll get you to leave me alone.” Paul’s face scrunches up, slightly. He flips the book over and looks at the back. The face of King has Paul gagged. “What?!” He’s in total disbelief.

“I know. They got my good side.” Since King is no longer being shoved away, he crawls into the guards lap. Likely so that he could get a good look at his book. He can be pretty egotistical sometimes.

The snores from Eda carry throughout the room. It’s a nice noise. Like a sign that the guards are safe. Paul’s never quite felt like this before, and he’s not sure if he likes it. King is now curled up in Paul’s lap. He doesn’t really do anything, which is weird. This whole situation is weird.

“Paul, you good?” Jeremy asks, noticing the boy’s frozen state. Apparently he’s just been breathing for the past ten minutes.

“Yeah, leave me alone!” His mean guy persona is attempted, though it doesn’t work like it used to. But they don’t have time to patronize him, as the door flies open. The human girl and the witch boy who brought them back to life both come barging in.

“Edaaaa!” The human girl wails. Eda pops up, rubbing her eyes. “Eda! Hunter’s gone!”

Eda, faster than ever, throws herself out of the nest and walks towards her. “What do you mean, gone?” Eda questions. Raine places their book onto the wooden floor, and pushes themself up.

“We can’t find him.” Gus exclaims. “We searched all throughout the house. In the kitchen, living room, Lilith’s room, and the storage closet.”

“Did you check the basement?” Raine asks, though it’s more like a suggestion. “He might be in there?”

“I didn’t think he even knew what the basement was?” Luz says, her stomach twists.

“The basement is locked, he couldn’t be in there.” Eda mutters. “Fuck! Where could he have gone?” She groans. “Peaceful moments always get ruined.”

“Hey, don’t blame Hunter!” Luz says. “He didn’t do anything!”

“The boy ran away,” Paul says, “that’s something, no?”

“Well, yes, but!” Luz wants to defend her friend more, but she doesn’t know how to. “There’s no time for fighting. Hunter’s gone, and knowing him, that’s not a good sign.”

“No, it’s not.” Gus grimenses. “What do we do?” Matt clings close to Gus.

“He’s not in The Owl House then.” Raine begins. “He’s left. He’s outside. Probably in the woods. But that’s not all bad. He’s helping restore the tree’s, no? Hunter knows his way around.”

“He runs when he’s scared. Like when we left the emperor's mind. He’s afraid.” Luz says, looking down. “If he’s scared then he’s not in his right mind. He won’t know where he is.”

“He also has no palismen, so he’s screwed if he runs into any beasts.” Eda frowns. A heavy feeling looms in the air. “Okay, we’ve gotta go find him. And by me, I don’t mean you guys. Rainestorm, can you watch the guards?”

“Yes, I can.” They nod.

“Thank you.” Eda smiles, taking their hand as if Eda was going off to war.

“Come on, we gotta go.” She waves, everyone follows her. “Adam, Todd, you two go hang out with my mom until we get back, then we’ll continue with the interview.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Adam smiles. He’s holding Todd’s hand as he runs down the stairs.

“Mamá! Can you watch Adam and Todd? Hunter’s missing and we have to go find him!” Luz explains, quickly and loudly. Todd and Adam walk towards Camila.

“Sí, of course.” Camila smiles, before beckoning the boys to join her and the nurses.

“Wait! Hunter’s missing! I’m coming with you.” Willow insists, getting up off the couch. “No if ands or buts.” She says, worry in her voice. Worry that she cannot hide.

“We should get Darius.” Eda suggests. They all agree and the group walks into the kitchen. Not much is happening. The three are just chatting. Reminiscing about the time they shared back then. It’s weird seeing them all so happy about this.

“Darius!” Luz screams. “Hunter’s missing, and we have to go find him, so hurry up!”

“What now!?” Darius yells. “What do you mean, he’s missing?” Darius questions, concerned.

“He vanished.” Eda continues on for Luz. “He’s not in the house, which means he’s left.”

“For titan’s sake!” Darius groans. “Okay, let’s go. Hopefully he didn’t get far.”

“I doubt he did, given the fact that he has no palismen.” Eda shrugs, as she opens up the front door and steps outside.

“Well it is Hunter, so I wouldn’t be so sure.” Gus says. “He’s resourceful.”

“Hooty!” Eda yells at the sleeping bird. “Did you see Hunter leave?”

“The blonde kid? Yeah, I tried to stop him, but he punched my nose, hoot!”

“So that’s why it’s bruised.” Eda says, glancing at his nose. “Okay, which way did he go?”

“Straight. Hoot.” The group runs off. “Not even a thank hoot? Ungrateful.” Hooty’s voice gets quieter as they get deeper into the woods. The tree branches sway back and forth making an eerie sound.

Matt is holding onto Gus’s arm, out of fear. Willow and Luz look at each other, a sinking feeling in both teens. Eda is unwillingly next to Darius.

“You know him better than anyone here.” Eda starts. “Where could he have gone off to?” She asks, her hand on her hip. She waves the hook around the man’s face.

“Where did he go after he ran off from The Owl House?” Luz asks. “When he discovered he was a, y’know.” She looks back at Matt, unsure if he knows what Hunter actually is.

“To Hexside, remember?” Willow cocks. She gets snappy when she gets stressed. It’s valid, especially given the situation that they’ve found themselves in. Plus it’s about Hunter, Luz is sure there’s something going on between the two.

“Would he really have gone there now?” Luz asks, fiddling with her fingers, anxiously. “I mean, remember how he quite literally got suspended?”

Darius flinches. “It’s our only hope. If he’s not there then we’ll…” he looks down. The grass is green. He focuses on the color and tunes everything else out. If something happened to Hunter, he’d kill himself.

“I’d say we should start heading that way, now.” Eda says, desperation etching its way into her lungs. Her throat threatens to close up.

“Good idea, owl lady.” Matt finally speaks up, as if he wasn’t just pissing his pants. The rest of the group gives a nod of agreement. They all begin to head towards the school. Darius hangs in the back.

He’s slow compared to everyone else. The grass is green. He remembered how Hunter started to say that one day, after visiting Luz in the human realm.

“The grass is always greener on the other side.” He smiles, the gap in his teeth was very apparent. He said the phrase proudly as they walked to Bonesborough for a treat. “That’s what Luz told me.”

“Ah, so that’s who you heard that from.” Darius chuckled. “What does that even mean?” He questioned, as they walked towards the outskirts of the city.

“It means things get better, I think?” Hunter shrugged. “She didn’t really explain it, but that’s what it sounds like.” He was very wrong, Darius later found out. It refers to how humans always want what they don’t have. Still it was nice to think of it as a positive thing.

Darius steps into the outskirts again, this time without Hunter by his side. He frowned at the sign about city limits. The grass was dying. None of the grass on the isles was really green. Darius turned back, the green grass he had seen was most definitely not green. It was brown, and shriveled up.

The group was far ahead. Darius tried to keep up, but the feeling of not being good enough flooded his body and his mind. Maybe if he had actually paid attention to Hunter, this wouldn’t have happened. But no! He had to spend all his time playing pretend with John.

“I see the school!” Luz shouted, pointing towards the large building in the distance. “We’re so close!” She jumped up and down, before speeding off.

“Luz, wait up!” Eda called out, before picking up her pace to try and catch up to the human. “For the love of Titan, kid, why are you so fast?!” Her voice was a lot further now. The rest of the group began to speed up, not wanting to get left behind.

The group was quickly approaching the school. The large building was easily spottable over the houses. It was much taller than the rest of the town. Darius remembered when he attended here. It was a good time.

Luz pushed the large front doors open. Or attempted too, they were locked, so they didn’t actually open. “It’s locked.” Luz frowned, turning around to face the rest of the group. “We have to find another way in.”

“Okay,” Eda looked around, trying to find her old secret entrance. But it was so dark, and her eyes weren’t adjusting.

“Let’s just bust in through a window.” Willow said.

“No, it’ll be too loud. We might end up scarring Hunter.” Darius replied.

“It might be our only way in though.” Matt said, his hand on his hip. The other hand in front of him, but not in a pointing stance.

“Here it is!” Eda yelled, kneeling down next to a bush. “Come here! This was my secret entrance. So that I couldn’t get marked as late by the principal. I wonder if I’ll still fit.” While she explained, the group walked towards her.

“Kids go in, we’ll find another entrance.” Darius sighed. “I know splitting up sucks, but it’s likely our only hope. Willow, Gus, whatever your name is,” He was talking about Matt, “and Luz, you all should crawl through the tunnel.”

“Got it!” Willow gave a proud nod.

“Aye aye captain!” Luz smiled, as she hopped down, and began to enter the tunnel. It was small, tight, and uncomfortable. She crawled, his knees hurt. Gus was behind her, but she didn’t know the order after that.

She eventually made it inside. Now she was standing in the hallway of Hexside. Her friends stood behind her. Luz was leading them now. With her hands balled into fists and an unmatched amount of confidence, she was prepared.

Willow grabbed onto Luz’s shoulder. “Luz? You’ve been just standing here for like a full minute, you good? We gotta move.”

“Oh! Ha sorry. Was very lost in the moment.” Luz laughed.

“Then you better get unlost, hurry up!” Matt yelled, as he ran down the hallway with Gus, hand in hand. They looked very gay. Were they gay?

Luz and Willow trailed after the boys. “Why are they so fast?” She frowned. Willow was huffing and puffing to her right. Eventually they caught up to them. “Geez!” Luz let out a tired groan. “When did you guys get so fast!”

“Gotta go fast!” Matt said, mimicking sonic’s pose.

“Was that a sonic reference?” Luz asked, raising her eyebrow.

“Maybe.” Matt said, with a shrug. “Anyways, where was Hunter hiding out before? He’ll probably be there.”

“I think I’m the only one who knows the way, so follow me!” Gus smiled, as he led the group. The four walk for quite a while. Flying probably would’ve made this a lot faster, but Gus hadn’t thought of that, and it was basically too late.

Gus pushed open the door, but Hunter wasn’t there. “He’s not here.” Luz frowned. “Where could he be?”

“Maybe he’s in his classroom? His home room.” Willow said, her voice was very unsure. “That’s the only place I can think of.”

“Then to the potions homeroom, we go!” Luz yelled out. Everyone gave her a glare. “Sorry, too loud.” She whispered, grabbing her mouth in embarrassment.

The group headed to the potions homeroom. Luz was leading the way this time as she was the only person here to actually take the class. She opened the door, which luckily wasn’t locked. Wait, that's weird. She stepped inside, everyone following after. The room wasn’t empty.

Hunter was there.

He looked so scared. His hand was in front of him. He was looking at it, in fear. Then she saw it, the blood. It was everywhere. Was it his? What the hell happened?
