Chapter 2
Obito watched his sensei's body disintegrate. Surely his soul would go back to the afterlife, without a body to regenerate he would have nowhere to go. Or else his soul would wander the earth endlessly until the Edo Tensei was canceled. Anyway, all that mattered was that he was no longer a nuisance to his plans. No more wasting time. Obito closed his eyes and sensed his new Hiraishin’s mark. He detected the chakra spike and teleported to it.
The Hiraishin was a strange feeling, unlike his kamui which twisted his perception of reality to enter the alternate dimension the Hiraishin cut off all senses during transport. You had to get used to this feeling to be able to react effectively to it.
Obito opened his eyes and prepared to attack the three runaways but saw no one. He looked around and saw that he hadn't teleported very far from his starting point. About a few hundred meters. Yet he felt his seal to be here so why wasn't Tobirama there? He looked down and saw a pale shape with his sigil stamped on it and a black bar beside it. He picked up the object and turned it over to examine it.
' Smart guy. He amputated the part of his body with the mark so I couldn't teleport to him. Plus he used the bar I had impaled him with to make sure the seal didn't regenerate. '
Obito rose into the air and looked around. Sharingan and Rinnegan scanned the surroundings but couldn't make out the shapes of them.
Well if they were hiding, Obito just had to get them out. For Naruto it won't be hard. Obito made the Ram Seal and created ten clones of himself to guard the Divine Tree. He wasn't crazy, he knew that some would try to chop down the tree to stop Tsukoyomi. He then left far from the battlefield in the direction of what he knew would make Naruto react.
He didn't have to search long before he found what was left of the Shinobi Alliance. He was currently high above them so they hadn't spotted him yet. But with the Hyuga making up their battalions it didn't take long. Let's see how their coordinated attacks work when he was in the middle of them.
Obito dropped from the sky and fell with a crash among the dazed ranks of shinobi in the large villages. Many covered themselves to prevent the debris from hurting them and barely reacted when Obito did his mudras.
«Rikudô : Enmetsu-te»
Two large arms of red chakra emerged from his back and began sweeping the shinobi around him. Nothing could stop his flaming hands and the few jutsus that were launched against him canceled out on contact with Juubi's chakra. Bodies fell by the dozens.
Shikamaru watched the event from afar and gritted his teeth as he searched for a plan. Only sage chakra had any effect on him and from what he knew other than Naruto, none of their members had any. If at least Myoboko's toads were present he might be able to think of something.
“Lady Katsuyu! » He shouted at the large slug Sakura was standing on. “Do you have any sage techniques? »
The slug turned to him and shook her head sadly.
“I'm sorry, my clan's sage techniques are not offensive. I will be of no use against this enemy. The Toad and Snake Clan are the only ones to have harnessed sage chakra in battle. »
" I see. Thanks anyway. »
" On the other hand ! » Katsuyu said suddenly, seeming to remember a crucial element. "I'm not helping you produce it but I can feel where it is. In the surroundings I sense four sources of sage chakra. Some shinobis here may be able to use it. »
" Really ? » Said Sakura surprised by the news. From what she knew the sage chakra was very difficult to control, so it was already amazing that there were four of them on the battlefield. "Can you locate them Lady Katsuyu?"

Shikamaru nodded and looked back at the jinchuriki calmly continuing his slaughter. He stood in the middle of the attack, looking around for something, or someone.
“Killer Bee. He is looking for Hachibi. Ino! » He shouted to his teammate who without waiting came to stand in front of him ready to deliver the message.
“Connect me with Killer Bee. » She nodded and put her hand on Shikamaru's forehead. He waited in silence for a few moments before he heard two voices speaking together.
“ I tell you my friend Hachibi, there is no question that I stay planted here. This guy is killing hell over there. You and me are the only ones who can make him need some air. Oh yeah. »
“If he makes such a massacre it's to make you come Bee. We don't stand a chance against him, do you really want me to be extracted and turned into a mass of chakra? »

“Killer Bee, this is Shikamaru talking to you. I need to know where you and Hachibi are. »

“ We are currently two hundred meters from Obito. He didn't spot us and I think that has to continue. »
" Yes I agree. We are looking for a solution but it would be better if you kept a low profile. At least until we find a plan. »
" Well received. We stay in cover. »
“ You'd better find a solution quickly lemon squeezy otherwise Killer Bee will make him drink ink in his tea. »
“ Really Bee? »
Shikamaru cut the connection and came back to his sense. He thanked Ino and looked at Katsuyu. "So Lady Katsuyu? Have you located the sources of chakra. »
"Yeah, I think I've located them all. The first is not far from us. His chakra reminds me of Orochimaru's cursed mark and it's very unstable. » She turned her head in the direction and Shikamaru recognized the person Sasuke had arrived with.

“The second looks like Naruto. But it's strange he moves away from us, he goes to the divine tree. »

" Very well thank you. Guess Sasuke's friend is our only option. Send someone to get him. We're going... "

A huge boulder thrown by Obito's jutsu fell towards Shikamaru and the others. Sakura jumped on the way to the rock and raised her fist ready to strike.
“Ah! » The boulder shattered into several pieces under the force of the chakra punch and created a cloud of dust that hid their view. When the cloud cleared they saw Obito standing in the middle of a crater looking annoyed that neither Killer Bee nor Naruto had come to stop him.
‘If killing them one by one didn't work then maybe a mass killing would force their hand.’
He rose in the air and raised his hand towards the ground. Bubbles of red and blue chakra began to appear and mix in his hand forming a biju bomb. The orb began to grow larger and grew larger than Obito.
“So close to the ground, he's not afraid of being caught in the explosion?! » Kiba shouted as he stepped back, visibly afraid of getting hit by the chakra bomb.
“He'll just use Kamui to disappear before the explosion. This guy gives us no rest. » Shikamaru closed his eyes and tried to think of a plan. This time it won't be like with Juubi. They couldn't slow down the bomb and hope for a miracle to save them. If this thing was launched, it's the end of them.
Ino then moved forward and aimed at Obito with her mind transfer technique.

She was unprepared for the tension that ran through her as she took control of the body. The chakra flowing through her was heavy, so heavy that she couldn't concentrate enough to change the path of the attack. And all of a sudden it hurt, she felt like her limbs were being torn off one by one.

Ino looked around and saw that she was in a blue mental space stained with many colors. She was restrained by purple chains and in front of her stood Obito, scepter in hand and a blank expression on his face.
' How… how can you hold me back? I am the one who attacked your mind. '
' Don't underestimate the power of the Rinnegan. Mind manipulation is far from beyond his abilities. I'll prove it to you right now, Yamanaka. Farewell. '
Obito put his cold hand on her head and she felt her connection to her body dissolve.
' He uses the same technique that Pain used on Shizune. ' She thought panicking. ' At this rate I will... '
«Doton : Great Mountain Jutsu!»
Ino came straight back into her body, panting. Shikamaru helped her up and sighed in relief. He had seen her collapse and convulse as if under attack. He really thought he was losing her. She looked at Shikamaru and managed a weak smile before passing out from exhaustion.
Obito meanwhile came to his senses stuck between two huge mountains. The same jutsu used against Juubi to stop his Mokuton attack. He lost control over his biju bomb and the mass of chakra convulsed about to explode.
'You idiot, even at low levels this bomb will kill the majority of you.'

A purple barrier suddenly appeared all around its location protecting the shinobi from its bomb. At the four corners of the barrier was a clone of the Third Hokage.
' I see. The third took advantage of my absence to use his Doton jutsu and place the barrier. So he protects the shinobi and hopes that I get hit by my own attack. If I didn't have Kamui it could seriously hurt me. A good but futile plan Sarutobi. '
Obito activated Kamui and the bomb exploded reducing the Doton jutsu to dust and deforming the purple barrier. This jutsu was much less effective than the Four Red Yang Formation used earlier but without the other Hokages, that was all he could produce. Luckily for them that was enough to contain the chakra bomb.
Obito reappeared in his dimension and landed on the flat stone. He would wait a few moments to make them feel like they had won before taking them by surprise. Sarutobi will be the next target. This time he would make sure he didn't regenerate.
He was about to leave when he stopped. He looked around and squinted.
Kakashi has disappeared.
