Highschool can be a fresh start for everyone. Some average teenangers finding their place in the world, between numbing classes and exciting and repetitive football games, who wouldn't love it?Well, almost everyone.Jinx struggles to navigate her way through her peers and gets caught up in certain 'substances', whereas Vi and her violent headfirst tendencies drag her from dusty courtyard fights into the principals office on a regular basis. Caitlyn desperately tries to pull together a story to save her dying journalism club, Ekko is haunted by the past, Mel has mommy issues, Viktor has issues in general, and Jayce is occupied having a sexuality crisis...And all the while, a looming threat begins to swell in the background, casting a hazy and sweltering blue glow on them all...but, as forementioned, normal teenanger activities.Expect a maybe one odd football game, a behind the bleacher kiss, and a whole lot of not subtle foreshadowing.(Basically a highschool AU to cope, as we all do, except I can't write anything fluffy, so I write angst.
