7 - Test
As I have brazed through the obstacle course, I would have no need in practicing the route. However, it hosts more benefits for me than just running as well as pushing my limits in my uses in quickness hoping to make improvements on it, prolonging it is my biggest aim. However, despite my extensive use of it, my progress has been slow compared to my progress earlier, which led me to believe that during battle and fights, my progress would improve quicker than during training, although just training is still essential.
My speed training is minimal, even though I excel at that area of fighting. For the past week, I would wake up early at 5 for a training session with Hayate-sensei. In my personal belief, I thought that due to not even having unlocked the skill of the sword style, my progress in kenjustu was extremely slow, even if it has only been less than a week. I thought since my first day of kenjutsu training, my rate of growth has decreased because I haven't even mastered the first move as my accuracy was still not up to standard and requirements. I have started training my second move, which was even slower than my first move as I have only basic understanding and movement down and my ability to perform it is weak. Hayate-sensei has told me that I have enough amount of speed necessary to be able to perform the moves, my inability to perfect it is due to the precision in my strikes and my accuracy in movements is still lacking. Little to my knowledge, the rate of growth was slightly above my sensei's expectations. This is due to my previous experience of handling weapons and fighting practices being a help in my progress, which I did not take into consideration.
My time in lessons indoors has been very unproductive as I took from Shikamaru in sleeping through the lessons. Occasionally, I was in trouble for doing so but over time, as my grades were excellent, other than some more detailed parts of the written exams, Iruka stopped bothering me with my antics in lessons. In taijutsu, I have improved significantly and become top of the class in that aspect. I was also top of my class in running, as expected. My throwing skills have improved, but still not at the top, trailing Sasuke and Hinata. In written exams, I was in the middle due to my High-school level of maths, although my knowledge of detailed theory lacks as well as more in-depth parts of History. At the current pace, I am second only to Sasuke.
In my spare time training, I have started elemental affinity training. During one of my training sessions with Hayate, I begged him to get me a chakra paper to start elemental training. It took some time to convince him in helping me but my constant begging succeeded.
Flashback
"Please get me the paper sensei," I begged again for nearly the hundredth time, as he rolled his eyes, "please help me. I prom…"
"Fine." Hayate-sensei finally agreed, clearly seeing this as the only option in stopping me begging him every other second, "Give me a few minutes, I'll be back with the paper." He shushined away, leaving a pile of leaves in front of me as I grinned.
'It worked, finally!' I thought, proud of my methods.
A few minutes later, he came back with the Chakra paper. "Channel your chakra into this paper." I thought that my main affinity would be lightning, I wanted to assure my suspicions along with hopefully finding out a second affinity. I channeled my chakra into the paper. The paper then wrinkled, then split in half. Lightning as my main affinity is not a surprise to me, although wind affinity was a pleasant surprise.
"Two affinities didn't expect that," Hayate mumbled, "I've got to go, do some training on your own." When he left, I started my elemental training by wrinkling a leaf that I stuck on my head as I saw a notification

Unlocking my two C rank Justus was also a blessing for me as they were the two offensive ninjutsu I have.
Despite my heavy focus on training, I made an effort to have fun, and getting strong, after all, would not fulfill my life to my fullest extent. Each week, I would force myself to have at least one day of rest, wary of what over-training and over-stress would do to me.
As I walked to the academy for another day, this time it is the day of the real obstacle course test. I was unfazed about it with high confidence, along with most of the Konoha 9 apart from Sakura while Ino during practice for nearly 4 minutes so is confident. This is not the case for a lot of the civilians and especially fangirls as they were worried about it, thinking about their future with Sasuke and the potential of not seeing him rather than their future as shinobis.
Although I have a negative view of Sakura, I would encourage her to be a medic-nin due to her high chakra control and previous knowledge. It is for the best for her and the world as she was an accomplished medic in the show.

"Class! Today is the day of the obstacle course test. If you fail, you will be held back by a year until you pass or quit." Iruka announced to the class, "The first person to do the test is Hinata." As expected of her she passed without too big of a problem. This is the same for most of the Konoha 9 until it was Sakura's turn. As she stepped up, clearly nervous about failing as I saw the lack of confidence on her face as the class was bickering, especially the girls who haven't attempted it, she started the obstacle course.
Despite her actually training the past week, it was too late as she was still physically unfit and with low stamina. For those reasons, she failed the test. When she reached the end, she was crying. As I started the obstacle course, I encountered little problem as expected, being the quickest to complete the race. I ended up without getting hit as my speed was too great although I was very exhausted towards the end as my stamina and energy was still weak point of mine

Spotting Sakura crying, I went up to her and despite knowing why, I asked, "Why are you crying, did you fail?"
"Yes!" she screamed at me, "why else am I crying!"
"Just trying to help. Why did you want to be a kunoichi in the first place Sakura?" I asked, actually curious as I for once did not know the answer to that question also trying to calm her down. "The actual reason, and don't say because of Sasuke," I added.
"When I was a child, My family and I were being attacked and robbed by bandits and a Kunoichi saved us. I want to save others." She replied, after contemplating it for a minute.
"You know, you don't need to be a kunoichi to save lives, there are other ways and paths that you can take," I said softly.
"What?"
"Being a medic-nin is a good way in doing so. You would be fit for it, seeing as you have good chakra control." I replied to her.
"I'll think about it."
After the end of the test, there remains the Konoha 8 and me a few civilians with a heavily reduced number of fangirls who would be held back a year, most of them decided. This was a big deal for most of the class and the teachers, but not for me as I could not care less about it.
As the day ended with the class being nearly cut in half, as well as a lack of loud screaming and cheering for Sasuke. Peace and quiet were restored to the classroom until Naruto came back to the classroom, then all hell broke loose, as expected of him.
This Naruto is identical to the show's Naruto as I haven't had an affected on him other than being his friend and accompanying him to Ichiraku too often to my liking.
As I returned to the orphanage, I took some leaves and started practicing my lightning manipulation. After dinner, which was two hours after my start of training. As usual, I ended the day with some strength training and training of Shinokagami.
