Chapter 1
Sakura bit her lip. Enough to stop crying. She was pregnant how could it have come to this. They were so careful, so very careful. She was only 21 and Kakashi was 32. She had her whole life ahead of her, but still she wouldn't change her present for the world. She was carrying a child, a child of the man she has come to love. Maybe it was supposed to be this way , she thought. When she grew up under the guidance of her shishō she realised something important, Sasuke had never once crossed her mind. She realised, she had been in love with the idea of being in love with him. When her rival Ino had declared her love for Sasuke too she knew she couldn't lose to her, she was very competitive.
As soon as they graduated from the academy, her only goal in life was to become the best of the best and she did, she achieved her goal and surpassed her master.
Tsunade was like a mother to Sakura, way better than her biological who couldn't care less about her own daughter. When Tsunade found out she was frantic and disappointed. She thought her pupil was better than that, and Kakashi at that ?. She was worried because she was 21 and still young and had a life ahead of her, she was disappointed in Kakashi, he should have known better, how could they have been so careless? she thought. With her hand on her head she sighed.
"Shishō, please say something, anything?" She said with fear and worry laced in her voice. She was worried too. Worried if Kakashi would accept even if she was pregnant, this would change everything.
"Shishō , I..." She wanted to say something but couldn't, her words were caught in her mouth. "Sakura, as much as I am disappointed in you, I think he has the right to know , Kakashi loves you with all of his heart Sakura I know it in, the way he looks at you, the way he acts around you, he is clueless but it's kinda adorable, Kakashi has been alone his whole life, you are giving him a family Sakura, I support you two I, I just am disappointed that it happened too soon".
Kakashi had been hearing the whole conversation behind the Hokage's door. He had just finished the mission and had come to report. He was shocked he was happy he was excited ?. He had come home to hear this news he was going to have a family. He was finally going to have a place where he could call home. He slowly knocked, heard a faint come in, and went in.
"Sakura is that true ? , Are you really pregnant, are we really going to have a family ?" He knelt down so he could face her stomach, he rubbed her belly.
Tears threatening to drop. "I love you Sakura, so much, you have no Idea, I, I was scared for commitment, I never committed to anything or anyone, they all died, whoever I loved every one,I was scared to get attached to you, but before I realised it was too late. I love you so much, you are the only thing that's keeping me sane Sakura." He was crying tears. Sakura was too stunned to speak. Tsunade had never seen him so vulnerable. It was wholesome to say the least. She feels sorry now to say that she was disappointed, she thought it was a mistake maybe a one-night stand ?, She didn't know they were in love that they were in a relationship like that so deep.
Sakura thought that she would hate her for her choice, so she decided to hide it from her, but the longing looks from Kakashi when Sakura wasn't looking or the love filled tone in his voice when he was talking to her compared to the others didn't go unnoticed by her. She thought he was a closet pervert, just like her Jiraiya she had thought, but all her judgement came to a halt when she witnessed the moment in front of her. Kakashi was in love and he was in too deep.
"Kashi, I love you so much", she sobbed she was afraid to tell him, afraid that he would reject her. She wasn't expecting this reaction.
She giggled at the thought.
"why are you laughing?" He asked. With a puzzled look on his face.
"I did not expect this reaction from you Kashi, you are too adorable". she giggled once more placing a small kiss on his forehead. Kakashi could only pout.
Just in time Naruto had entered. All he could say was "EW GROSS". Everyone started laughing.
