Chapter 29
Naruto, Hinata, and Sasuke sat in Naruto's new living room. They were all reading scrolls. The other night, Naruto was looking through his new house and found a chest locked with a seal only he could open. Naruto unlocked it and it was full of scrolls so he asked Hinata and Sasuke for help to sort them all.
Hinata was on the couch, Naruto was on one side of the coffee table, and Sasuke was on the other side. They were all reading scrolls about Naruto's clan.
"Hey guy, did you know my mom was considered a princess in her homeland?"
"How so Naruto?"
"My mom was the next Uzumaki heir in Uzushiogakure, the home of the Uzumaki Clan. The people of Uzushiogakure where allies with Konoha during the wars before they where wiped out." Naruto said
Naruto's eyes squinted and tilt his head a bit, he was thinking about something.
"Something on your mind Naruto?" Sasuke asked
"If my dad was the 4th Hokage and my mom was a Princess, what does that make me?"
"Hmm I guess that makes you kinda like royalty like us." Hinata said teasingly
Naruto blushed. "S-Stop that."
Sasuke smirked, this was payback for all the teasingly Naruto did to him for calling him a Prince. "Oh your Majesty, how may I serve you?" Sasuke kneeled in front of Naruto and took his hand
"S-Stop it!" Naruto blushed
Hinata decided to join in on the teasing. "My Prince! My Prince! Marry me!" Hinata clinged to his arm like a fan girl
"Wh-Wh-What!" Naruto couldn't properly form a sentence from how much he was blushing, to which Hinata and Sasuke laughed
They had all grown to be so carefree around each other, like it was natural for them.

"*Sigh* Any reason you think Kakashi-sensei told us to meet here?" Naruto said, sitting on the ground
Hinata and Sasuke were sitting on the ground next to him. "Nope." "No idea."
Naruto just sighed. He didn't the notice the three figures standing on the fence they were laying against. They tried to jump on him but golden chains sprouted from Naruto's back and grabbed the figures.
"Hey what's this?!"
"What the- Konohamaru?" Naruto recognized one of the figures
Konohamaru grinned. "That's right boss! We almost got you if it wasn't for your cool chains, how did you learn it?!"
Naruto used his chains to set Konohamaru and his friends down. "It's good to see you Boss, it's been a while. Say, you look different."
Naruto rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, I upgraded my shinobi outfit."
"And your hair! It's red!"
"Yeah, I-uh dyed it too."
"It suits you Boss!"
"Enough about me, who are your friends?" Naruto pointed to the other kids
The two other kids stepped up. "I'm Udon Ise!"
"And I'm Moegi Kazamatsuri!"
Hinata shook out of her shock. "Um Naruto, how do you know the Hokage's grandson?"
"I met him when I got my picture taken. He accused me of tripping him so I smacked him and then insulted him on front of his grandfather then he asked me to train him." Naruto explained how he met Konohamaru
"You smacked the Hokage's grandson?" Sasuke asked
"Yeah, why?"
Sasuke only smiled a bit and started to laugh. "Only you Naruto."
"What are you teaching him Naruto?" Hinata asked
"I'm teaching him the basics of Fuinjutsu."
"He's teaching me explosions!" Konohamaru took out a slingshot and a crumpled explosion seal, he aimed it over the fence and an large explosion could be heard
"My yard! WHO DID THIS?!" The person from the other side of the fence yelled
"Let's go!" Naruto grabbed Konohamaru, Sasuke grabbed Udon, and Hinata grabbed Moegi and started running away from the crime scene
Naruto didn't watch where he was going and ran into someone and knocked him and Konohamaru to the ground. Naruto looked put to see a boy with weird purple markings on his face.
"Watch where you're goin'." He said
"I'm very sorry. We were-" Hinata tried to apologize
"I don't want to hear a half-baked excuse from some pitiful rookie shinobi."
Konohamaru got up and pointed at the boy. "Hey she was trying to apologize to you, you brute! You should be thankful someone as pretty and cool is even talking to you!" Konohamaru tried to defend Hinata
The boy only looked Konohamaru dead in the eyes before grabbing him and lifting him by his scarf. "Tell me punk, does this hurt?"
"Konohamaru!" Udon and Moegi yelled out to their friend
"Put him down Kankuro, or you'll know what'll happen." The girl besides him spoke up
Naruto rolled up one of his sleeves and three chains shot out of his forearm. The chains wrapped around Konohamaru and pulled him away from Kankuro.
"Impressive trick. Let's see how useful they are in a fight." Kankuro tried to rush at Naruto but Hinata used her Gentle Fist to stop him
"Ahhh!" Kankuro looked at his now limp and paralyzed arm
"Leave now or things will get messy." Sasuke activated his Sharingan
'Well, well, well, three local hotties that can fight.' Temari thought
"Kankuro. Temari." A third voice came from behind them
"G-Gaara!" Kankuro said, fearfully
"What did I say about causing trouble?"
"I-I know but they started-"
"I saw the whole thins Kankuro, they tried to apologize but your ego wouldn't let them." Gaara narrowed his eyes at him
"You. One with the chains." Gaara turned his head
As soon as Gaara met with Naruto's eyes, something clicked in them.
'Shukaku Spawn! Shukaku Spawn!'
'Kurama Spawn! Kurama Spawn!'
Gaara noticeably faltered and Temari caught him. "Gaara, are you ok?" Her voice with concern
"Naruto!" Sasuke yelled out as Naruto fell to his knees, his arms wrapped around the seal on his stomach
Naruto felt the seal on his stomach tighten and felt some of Kurama's chakra leak out, it wasn't noticeable to anyone else but Naruto. The chakra surrounded his lungs and organs, making it hard to breathe. Kurama wasn't trying to hurt him, he felt... happy?
"Gaara, what's wrong?!" Temari asked her brother, who was on the ground in pain
Gaara looked at Naruto. "You're-You're like me..." He said before passing out
Naruto kept breathing heavily as he watched Temari and Kankuro drag Gaara away. Sasuke and Hinata were by his side, trying to help him.
"Naruto, what's wrong? Did he do something to you?" Sasuke asked
"He's-He's a Jinchuriki..."
"What?" Hinata's and Sasuke's eyes widened
"I-I could feel it. My dojutsu activated and I saw his seal, but it was different from mine."
"I saw it too, it looked messy and some parts were missing. His Tailed-Beast chakra was leaking more than yours. His seal looked unstable." Hinata said
Naruto felt Kurama's chakra go back into the seal and fatigue came over him. Naruto tried to stand up but instantly faltered but Sasuke caught him and set him down.
"Sasuke...?"
"You're exhausted Naruto, you can rest until Kakashi gets here. It'll give you a few hours, knowing him." Sasuke said
Naruto exhaustedly smiled and passed out on Sasuke's lap.
