Chapter 4
Naruto ran from tree to tree. Tears blocked his vision. So many emotions were running through him at the moment. This day was one painful event after another.
"You're the Nine-Tailed Fox! You're the demon incarnation! You're the Kyuubi that attacked 12 years ago and killed hundreds!"
Naruto tried to wipe the tears away but they just kept coming. He heard Hinata behind him, telling him to stop but he didn't. He was too dangerous to be around.
When he got away from Hinata, Naruto rested against the trunk of a tree. Tears were freely coming down on his face. While this new information had shocked him deeply, it wasn't hard to believe. Everything else had made much more sense.
The small meals of terribly quality. Vandalism on his door of his apartment. Slaps for ill behavior. Rumors. Forced separation from even the most basic social interaction. And so much more he couldn't register.
Whether this information was true or not, it struck a painful cord. The traitors words had put him through such an emotional turmoil, causing him to run but not before Mizuki exposed more painful truths.
"You think Iruka is here that it'll help you! I can easily overpower him. Even if you try, there's NOTHING you can do. You may be fast after all those dumb pranks but you know NOTHING! You're fighting style? You're knowledge? All the teachers at the academy altered your books and made sure your forms were terrible. It was so easy for everyone to help to make sure you die as soon as you started fieldwork. You're weak! Helpless! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING!"
And he was right. Naruto knew what he was taught was different from the rest of the students at the academy. Despite his skill in Fuinjutsu, however prodigious he may be, he was still self taught and self taught could only take you so far without a teacher.
Naruto just didn't want to be here right now. He wanted to be home and loved and for someone to wrap their arms around him and tell him it will be alright. But it won't be, he was all alone with no one.
Maybe Hinata... She seemed to care about him at least a little bit. But she'll be better off with him not around...
Suddenly, Everything went black and it felt like Naruto was being pulled back.

Hinata found Naruto unconscious against a tree, she tried shaking him awake a few times but to no avail.
"Naruto wake up!" Hinata shook him
Naruto didn't so Hinata activate her Byakugan to try to see what the problem was. Nothing looked wrong in his chakra network and she didn't see any visible injuries. Hinata deactivated her Byakugan and watched over Naruto and the scroll until he woke up.
A twig snapped and Hinata turned to face the source, ready in a fighting stance. When she saw it was Iruka she calmed down slightly.
"Hinata! Thank Kami you two are alright. Where's Mizuki?"
Hinata was about to answer but something felt off. Her instincts told her that wasn't Iruka. She activate her Byakugan and saw through the illusion easily and got into the Gentle Fist stance. This made 'Iruka' nervous.
"Hinata... why are you activating your Byakugan? There's no danger here..."
"You can't fool me Iruka-sensei.... or should I say Mizuki-sensei..." Hinata said
'Iruka' frowned and the illusion disappeared, revealing to be Mizuki. "Just give me the scroll Hinata and I won't hurt you two." He tried to threaten
This only furthered her determination. "I won't let you hurt Naruto."
Mizuki frowned and grabbed one of his kunai and Hinata with two small blue chakra lions. The two lunged at each other.

Naruto woke up in a sewer like area. It was dark and there was nothing around. Except for the giant bars in front of him that held a huge being inside. Naruto peeked past the bars to get a closer look, he saw the word seal as a padlock on the cage and wondered what it meant.
The being in the cage was of immense proportion, with bright orange-red fur. It seemed to be sleeping, only moving it's chest to breathe. Naruto could feel the various emotions radiating off of the being. Since he was young, Naruto could feel the emotions of other's. It didn't matter if it was a person or an animal, he could feel what they were feeling. It helped him a lot when he was younger to avoid the mobs...
Anger, Hatred, and Resentment were the most prominent but Naruto could detect traces of Loneliness within the being. Naruto empathize with it, he knew what it was liked to feel trapped and alone.
Suddenly the being woke up and turned its body to face Naruto. It looked even taller standing and with its tails, it looked massive.
"So..." The being spoke. "My jailer has finally shown himself to me."
'Jailer?' Naruto thought curiously
He then looked back to the seal-lock and back at the being, noticing the abnormal amount of tails. Naruto then started to count the tails, his heart dropping more as he counted closer to 9. He froze when he counted all 9 of the tails.
The fox instead his mind and the seal-lock, he really was the Kyuubi...
Naruto's knees suddenly became weak at the realization and he fell to the ground, concerning the Kyuubi.
'I didn't think he would react like this...' Kurama thought
"I really am a monster..." Naruto kept saying over and over again
This was concerning. While Kurama didn't particularly like humans, it concerned him that his jailer was having a quiet breakdown in front of him. Silently, he dove into his jailers mind and boy... he was not ready for what he saw.
Blood. Blood for the most part was what he saw. The kid (who was still a kit in his eyes) was treated terribly for the most part of his life because he was sealed into the kid, Kurama still hated humans (maybe even more from what he saw) but he wanted to comfort his little jailer. He also knew the pain of being feared and hated for something you couldn't control.
Kurama picked up the crying child with one of his tails gently and rested him on his fur. Naruto accidentally grabbed his fur to try and ground himself. The fur felt nice and warm and safe in a way Naruto couldn't explain. He felt calmer the more he stroked the fur.
"Are you alright kit?" A strange, powerful voice broke him out of his thoughts
Naruto relized he was leaning against something and looked up to see Kurama looking at him with concern.
"Are you really the Kyuubi?" Naruto asked in a weak voice
"Yes I am kit." Kurama nodded
"Then it's true. I am the Fox." Naruto looked down, trying to make the tears go away
"Hmm I thought you Uzumaki's knew better..." Kurama said
"Knew what?"
"When you seal a scroll into a kunai, does the kunai become the scroll?" Kurama asked
"N-No it's still the kunai." Naruto answered
"Then if I'm sealed into you, does that make you the Kyuubi?" Kurama asked
No it didn't.
"Th-Then... if I'm not the Kyuubi, then what am I? Why are you sealed into me? Why did you attack the village when I was born? Is that why the villagers hate me?"
Kurama looked at Naruto sadly and shank down smaller but a head taller than Naruto. He rubbed his nose against Naruto's and wrapped a few tails around him as if to give him a hug of comfort. He pulled the young Jinchuriki closer to him.
"You're a Jinchuriki, Naruto. Jinchuriki are humans that have Tailed-Beast sealed inside of them. Like you, you are the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki Naruto." Kurama explained what a Jinchuriki was
"Then why did you attack the village?" Naruto asked him
"It's wasn't my choice. I was ripped from my last Jinchuriki and they used their Sharingan to control me and attack your village. When I broke free it was too late, I was already being sealed into you." Kurama explained
"So it wasn't your fault. You were manipulated, just like me..." Naruto said, empathizing with the Tailed-Beast
Kurama said nothing. The kit was manipulated too many times in his life.
Kurama suddenly perked up, something was going wrong on the outside of the body. Kurama forced his chakra into Naruto's body and look through his eyes.
"What's wrong?" Naruto asked
"Your friend is hurt. The one with the strange eyes."
Hinata!
"It's Hinata! Send me back!" Naruto begged Kurama
Kurama was suprised at his reaction but nodded and sent him back. Naruto's vision filled with a bright light and he felt himself being pushed back.
