Chapter 10
Lisa’s phone pinged in her pocket as she closed her front door. She pulled out her phone to see Carla had sent a text, a huge grin spreading across her face as she opened up the message.
C: Today was amazing. Tonight has been incredible.
You, Lisa Swain, were something else entirely. X
Carla hadn’t been able to wait for Lisa to text first that she was home safe, she had literally been swept off her feet today and she needed Lisa to know.
L: You timed that to perfection, just as I was closing my front door. Speaking of perfection, you really did look breathtaking when I picked you up tonight, but Carla…when you walked out the water in your underwear…you were something else entirely. X
Lisa knew she’d been caught, watching Carla leave the water, and so she decided to admit to it first. After all, it gave her all the more opportunity to compliment the beautiful woman, not that she needed an excuse of course.
Carla smirked at the text she’d just received from Lisa, she knew she had felt Lisa’s eyes burning into her and then seen the flush colour of her cheeks as she’d turned around with her towel after leaving the water. If she hadn’t felt turned on then, which she definitely did, she certainly felt turned on now.
C: You owe me, Lisa Swain. I could really do with a close up of you in your bra and boxers….to make things even, you know. X
Lisa blushed at the message she’d just received from Carla. Wow, she’s confident. Lisa thought to herself. I need to try and keep up.
It was hard for Lisa. She’d spent most of her life with Becky, and thought Becky would be the only woman she’d ever be with. Even with it being six years since she’d lost Becky, Lisa never thought she’d be able to go through all this again. All the firsts. First date, first kiss, first butterflies, first time with someone new. But for some reason, she was prepared to do it all over again, with Carla.
Carla felt nervous with Lisa not replying, she hoped she hadn’t been too forward so she sent a gentle text through to Lisa.
C: Is everything okay? X
Lisa’s heart sank, obviously getting too caught up in her own thoughts, realising she’d left Carla hanging. It was time to bring back a little confidence. Lisa took a deep breath and used the courage of the wine from earlier to help assist what she was about to do.
Lisa snapped a photo of herself, in her bed wearing only her bra and boxers and sent it to Carla along with a little message.
L: What do you wear to bed, Carla Connor? X
Carla’s eyes widened as she opened the photo Lisa had sent. Wow. She whispered to herself, she could feel the heat pooling between her legs now, heat rising in her cheeks, she felt breathless and a little sweaty at everything that was coursing through her mind and body after seeing that picture of Lisa. Quickly, not wanting to leave Lisa hanging, Carla typed out a reply and sent it.
C: If only you knew what that picture has done to me. X
Lisa smirked at Carla’s response. Knowing what she did to this woman could certainly boost her confidence even more.
L: Care to share, Carla Connor? X
C: It’s my turn to ask a question detective. X
Lisa groaned at Carla’s reply, but was also happy to carry on playing along. She wanted to take things slow, and thought getting caught up in the heat of the moment probably wasn’t the best option. She’d also never had phone sex before - even with Becky - or anything that border-lined that behaviour. Slowing down would certainly help right now.
L: Your game, your rules. X
Carla smiled at Lisa’s latest response. She liked the fact Lisa never seemed to forget what they’d discussed. Even if they were just little things.
C: I’d like to take you out to dinner Lisa, but you really blew me away today. I’m admitting defeat now because there’s no way I can outdo you, but I’m still asking if you’ll let me take you to dinner? X
Lisa couldn’t help but keep smiling. Carla was saying all the right things and clearly Lisa had done all the right things. Lisa’s heart swelled at the fact that Carla wanted to take her out to dinner.
L: Just being in your company is more than enough, Carla Connor. But yes, I’d love you to take me to dinner ❤️ X
C: That’s settled then. Just give me some time though, I want it to be special ❤️ X
L: You are special enough, Carla Connor ❤️ X
C: See you tomorrow still? I promised you a true heart-to-heart… ❤️ X
L: I’ll be there. Whether you feel up to it or not. Sleep well, beautiful ❤️ X
C: ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
