Tempers or Control Freak Syndrome
Shikamaru:
I wonder what Sora has done this time? Why must she do as I do not as I say?
Sighing, he walked into the building and down the lengthy hallways toward the front office. As he reached the door, he waited a few seconds before he knocked.
“Come in!” yelled the feminine voice.
Opening the door, he spotted his daughter sitting in front of the desk staring out of the window. Sora was so stuck in her thoughts she didn’t even hear the office door open or hear her father walk in. Sitting down by his daughter, Shikamaru looked at her for a moment and then turned his attention to the principal.
“So, what did you call me for today Ms. Harrison?”
“Well Mr. Nara today Sora got into a fight, and she’s been in this stoic state for the last hour. She won’t talk, she’s just staring into space.”
“What led to the fight and who did she fight?”
“How about we ask Sora that she never really explained what went on and the other girl was trying to blame Sora mostly,” she sighed.
“Okay, I will talk to her. Can you give me some privacy so I can talk to her?” he asked, turning his attention back onto Sora.
When she exited the office Shikamaru worked to try to get Sora out of her head.
“Sora,” he said, pulling her out of her thoughts. Sora sighed as she thought it was Ms. Harrison trying to talk to her again. She did not want to talk, she just wanted to go home. Looking up she saw it was her dad, which shocked her cause she could have sworn it was just her in the office with the principal.
“Hey Dad,” she replied, finally pulled out of her thoughts.
“What is going on? What happened today?” he questioned.
“What had happened was the girl started with me first. She always has something to say about me Dad but today she took it too far and I just do not want to talk about it right now,” she felt all the anger she had from earlier bubbling back up to the surface as she replayed the scene in her head. Sora did not want her dad to know the full details just as she knew that they both worked hard to never lose control. And today she lost that control she worked so hard to keep in her emotions.
Sora never liked to react to emotions when around close family and friends she was a very carefree child. Around people she disliked or was uncomfortable around she kept up her walls so as not to let them know too much. She missed her mom as well she wanted him back and that made her feel so much if anyone she didn't know mentioned him.
People always had some opinion of what happened to her mother based on the internet. She hated how they perceived her mother in the media cause that wasn’t him at all in her eyes. Yes, it has been ten years since she’s seen her mom but he was still her dad’s world and hers.
Signing, thinking about her mother brought so many thoughts to her head she did not want to think about at the moment. Sora turned to her dad, who had been silently watching her, and said, "I miss him so much." He hugged her tightly and whispered in her ear, "I miss him too, Sora."
Pulling away she asked,” Dad can we just go home? I’ll tell you the rest about what happened later and you can take whatever for my punishment.”
“Ok, Sora let me sign out your brother and talk to the principal.”
“Alright Dad I'll be in the car waiting,” she said, standing up and going to wait for her father and brother in the car.
Time skip: At the Nara Residence
“Yeah, Hinata we have tried everything in our power to find Kawaki, but nothing has worked. I’m starting to get very worried because he has been missing for almost fourteen years,” Naruto announced in despair.
One of Naruto’s oldest sons, Kawaki, was kidnapped almost fourteen years ago. He remembered it like yesterday. He and his husband, Sasuke, had been sleeping peacefully in their room with their three-year-old triplets in the room right next to them. Naruto had been pregnant at the time with his twins, Boruto and Sarada. So he was very tired from the events they had done earlier in the day. His husband had quietened the triples and put them in bed.
He woke in the middle of the night when he heard crying in their room next door. When he walked into the room Kawaki was gone. He had quickly checked every room in the house, but his son was nowhere to be found. Naruto and Sasuke had reported Kawaki missing to the police, but nothing had ever come of it. They reported him missing because, to the open eye, they are a family with various successful businesses, Uchiha Corporation, not a mafia.
His husband, Sasuke, runs a mafia alongside Shikamaru; they are good friends with Shikamaru and Neji. His younger son, Boruto, was best friends with their son, Shikadai. Today Naruto was here to discuss with Shikamaru ideas on what they could do to find him. Along with discussing a business venture down in Seattle.
“Naruto it will be fine I’m sure wherever he is he is ok,” she tried to reassure him.
“I don’t care where he is i would know if he was safe if he was here with me in my arms. Because I’m his mom I need to be where he is it is hard going on every day knowing that your child is out somewhere but you don't know where they are,” Naruto said in despair as the tears started to fall.
Hinata was comforting Naruto when she heard the front door open and saw Shikamaru walking in. Shikamaru paused when he saw the two he knew that he had given them both keys to his house so they could come over when they wanted. He just wasn’t expecting them to be here today.
Turning his attention back to Sora,” Go up to your room I’ll be up there with you later so we can talk ok”.
She nodded and walked upstairs to her room. Shikamaru went into the kitchen prepared him a drink and sat in front of Naruto and Hinata.
“Talk”
