Deidara stared up into the sky in wonder as frozen raindrops fell down on his face.
"Hurry up brat, I don't have all day," Sasori growled, annoyed at not being able to travel inside of Hiruko for this mission.
"But danna un, there's ice falling from the sky un!" he said excitedly.
"And your point is," the redhead sighed, pausing to wait for his partner.
"If it gets a little colder there will be snow un!" he said, finally beginning to follow after his partner down the path.
"What's so exciting about snow?" Sasori said, rolling his eyes. Deidara gasped, then pouted slightly.
"Because un! It's like true art, only there for a short while and then gone! Besides, I've never seen it before un."
"I thought it snowed all the time in Iwa?" the puppet master said, ignoring his partner's comment about art.
"That's what everyone thinks un… It's always cold there, but there's never enough humidity for it to actually snow." He grumbled.
"So you've never seen snow?" Sasori asked, slightly incredulously.
"No un…" Deidara pouted.
"Well now you have," Sasori smirked. Deidara briefly looked confused, but his eyes widened and a large grin broke out on his face as he saw the snowflakes beginning to fall around him. He held out his hand and let out a quiet laugh as a few snowflakes fell onto his palm, next to his handmouth.
"Let's build a snowman un!" he said, grabbing his partner's wrist and pulling him away from the path they had been walking on.
"But-"
"Come on Sasori-no-danna un," he said grinning. Sasori sighed but let the blonde drag him over to a small field. I guess the mission can wait a little while…
