Note
This came to me today after I drew my madatobi love child again, but please note I do not know much lore and know only a small amount of madara and tobirama lore and info. Most stuff will be coming from madatobi fics and the small amount of videos and stuff I’ve read about the warring states era.

Chapter 1

The Daimyo was getting sick of hearing of the Senju and Uchiha war, it had been hundreds of years of a war of which no one even remembers why it began in the first place, fighting and death still consumed both clans as it was all they’ve ever known, so many innocent children having to die for a petty war no one remembered the cause of.

The Daimyō had, had enough and came up with a solution they were sure would stop the Senju and Uchiha fighting once and for all. The plan was soon to be executed, without either clan’s knowledge. They had found a shinobi of a neighboring nation with the perfect jutsu that would almost undoubtedly be able to stop the meaningless bloodshed between the two warring clans.

Unbeknownst to both the Senju and Uchiha their world as they knew it was about to be flipped on its head.

No one seems to worry too much when Tobirama starts getting random bouts of sickness out of nowhere, whether it be caused from a foul smell or just randomly becoming nauseous and ending up spewing the contents of his stomach from his last meal into the porcelain bowl of the nearest bathroom if he was lucky to make it in time.

The times when he had not been able to make it to the restroom or at least a trash can, he would have to stop to let out the contents of his stomach into a potted plant in his and his brothers home, or a flower bed as he was walking along the senju encampment.

His brother was able to communicate with the trees and plants so of course whenever Tobirama was unfortunate enough to be betrayed by his stomach which was more often as of late, having to release his stomach's contents into a nearby plant, his brother knew immediately he was sick as the plants had already whispered about their dismay of being thrown up on.

Tobirama’s once stomach of steel was now weaker than most civilians, he had trained to be almost immune to poisons if ingested and to eat nearly anything as for on long away missions there weren’t extensive food choices. But now he could barely stomach the thought of eating fish, which was what he usually ate all the time. No matter how fresh the fish, just a single whiff of any dish with fish in it would send him running to the bathroom where he’d end up emptying his stomach. He was mostly a simple man especially when it came to such a simple matter such as food but even plain fresh fish made him sick.

He was suddenly craving inarizushi most of the time, he never really had a strong liking of it before. Which honestly had even Tobirama questioning what was wrong with his stomach and sense of smell, along with his elder brother. Who was constantly nagging his younger brother to just let him do a quick once over on him to make sure nothing was seriously wrong. Even stranger he was also occasionally craving something sweet such as dango, or other deserts which was beyond weird because Tobirama just couldn’t stand sweet things usually.

The most bizzare thing was that even with all the bouts of sickness he had, and having trouble keeping anything but inarizushi and sweets down he had still gained at least five to ten pounds.

Which most people wouldn’t even have been able to notice, but Tobirama was a Shinobi and he had been one since he was old enough to hold a Kunai, so this change in his body when he hadn’t gained or lost weight in over ten years. That’s when Tobirama knew something was most likely wrong with him, he suspected he could have a serious illness or a tumor, although all his examinations of himself for said things couldn't bring anything to light.

Tobirama had not mentioned anything to his brother, knowing that the over emotional man would burst into tears, that would most likely flood the compound and get snot on his beloved furs that protected his neck.

Tobirama bemoaned as another wave of nausea overcame him as he was having dinner with his brother and his wife. Tobirama quickly shot out of his chair, running to the bathroom barely minding the shocked look of his elder brother and mito’s questioning gaze. He heard Hashirama shoot out of his chair soon after him and kneel down next to him as he once again unwillingly emptied the remnants of his stomach.

Hashirama’s hands began to glow green running up and down Tobirama’s back trying his best to sooth his little brother’s discomfort. Tobirama’s retching finally came to an end five minutes later, slowly lifting his head from the porcelain bowl of the toilet he groaned. Moving to get up from the bathroom floor, he apparently had got up too abruptly, as he was suddenly thrusted into a spinning world.

Hashirama noticed, his arms shot out to steady his brother as he swayed slightly, concern evident on the brunette's features. Hashirama was going to have none of Tobirama’s recklessness, he knew the other would brush off whatever this was. If he had to, Hashirama was going to make an order as clan head for Tobirama to rest the next few days.

He led Tobirama to his room, helping him get into bed much to Tobirama’s dismay. Soon after Hashirama had gotten him situated in bed, Mito walked into the room carrying a tray of tea and surprisingly inarizushi alongside it. Tobirama let a slight smile tug at his lips as he accepted the food and tea, the tea they had found out was the only way to help his stomach settle after these random bouts of nausea. He thanked his sister-in-law as he slowly sipped the tea and slowly took bites of the inarizushi. He hated eating soon after emptying his stomach but this inarizushi looked too delicious and tempting not to dig into right away.

“Otouto… I think you really should go visit the medics in the medical ward, this is getting seriously out of hand. How long has this been happening now? A month? I really think you need to get checked out.” Hashirama sighed as he sank down onto the bed next to his brother, resting his hand comfortingly on Tobirama’s leg.

“Anija… I’ve already told you it’s nothing.” Tobirama groaned as he picked up the second inarizushi, taking a bite of it.

“How long has this really been going on Tobi?” Hashirama asked, looking into his brother's eyes for an answer. Tobirama sighed knowing there was no way of lying about how long the random sickness has been plaguing him.

“Around two months.” Tobirama grumbled out, slightly rubbing his stomach as a random pain shot through his midsection.

“Two months! Tobi you need to see a healer, this isn’t normal… what if something happens to you!” Hashirama said, looking at his last living brother. Just the thought of losing Tobirama was almost debilitating.

“Anija, I am fine. I have personally conducted many tests on myself, all that resulted in nothing of substantial concern. It has to just be something minuscule like a summer bug.” Tobirama spoke, as he rolled his eyes

“I’m in agreement with my husband on this one dear otouto.” Mito spoke softly as she brushed a strand of his hair behind his ear, His hair had also begun to grow at a rate it never had before now framing his sharp features.

He sighed and leaned his head back against the wooden headboard, not making eye contact with either of them he spoke, “one more month, if I’m still sick like this in a month's time, I’ll let you both drag me to the healers yourselves.”

Hashirama and Mito looked at one another and sighed knowing this was the best they were going to get from Tobirama.

“Alright otouto, but only for one more month.”

-

Tobirama’s random sickness continued well into the following month, Hashirama and Mito undoubtedly noticed he was still sick. Thankfully on the day that marked a month since his agreement with Hashirama and Mito, before they could drag him to the healers to reveal his death sentence to them, there was an unannounced random skirmish with the Uchiha.

Tobirama, adorning his armor swiftly following his elder brother and clansmen, jumping from tree limb to tree limb in the direction of the battle that had already begun between both clans.

As soon as they broke through the brush Tobirama and Hashirama split up, both heading for their usual rivals. Hashirama towards Madara and Tobirama towards the younger of the uchiha, Izuna.

Tobirama’s and Izuna's blades clashed as they had for the past 14 years, both having more developed techniques and jutsu since when they had first met at the river trying to protect their brothers alongside both their blood thirsty fathers.

A while into the battle between the two rivals and the rest of the Senju and Uchiha clan, Tobirama knew something was wrong. A wave of dizziness caught him off guard, swaying slightly allowing for Izuna to have an opening, flashing his sharingan eyes at the red eyed senju.

Tobirama blinked hard and fast as soon as he realized, dispelling any possible genjutsu the Uchiha had tried to plant on him. Being caught again by Izuna’s fast reflexes he barely had time to block the sword coming straight down on him, being blasted into a nearby rock. Slightly groaning as pain erupted from his back into his lower stomach, eyes widening as a giant fireball aimed towards him came barreling his way.

Making hand signs as fast as he could to counter the jutsu headed straight for him, he conjured a gigantic water dragon, which collided with the fireball dispelling the fire into a mist of hot steam. He raised to his feet much to his body's protest, throwing an array of kunai towards the Uchiha.

Of course not any random blind attack would work on any Uchiha who possessed the eyes of the sharingan. They could see through almost anything, knowing so Tobirama had been working on a jutsu, one no Uchiha would see coming.

Izuna smirked, side stepping the large group of kunai headed straight for his head, although his eyes widened when he noticed a flare of chakra from one of the kunai that had an engraving on it. Izuna jumped back as the white demon appeared in front of him narrowly missing being gutted by the white haired Senju blade, which surely would have been a debilitating blow if not a mortal one.

Izuna noticed the erratic breathing of the Senju and laughed to himself, he had obviously over exerted himself with that last jutsu of his.

“Is that all you got demon!?” Izuna laughed, as he got ready to charge the Senju once again.

Izuna was aiming for the Senju’s stomach as he charged forward, when suddenly he subconsciously changed the trajectory of his own attack, leaving the Senju with only a deep cut on his shoulder that would only need stitches at most. Izuna stared shocked at his own hands, not knowing as to why his trajectory of his attack went off course.

Noticing the Senju in front of him swaying suddenly, and then falling to his knees letting out a blood curdling scream, arms curling around his midsection stunned Izuna more than anything.

The red eyed Senju never had shown pain like this in front of his enemy before, something was definitely wrong. Izuna had at first wondered if it was a ruse to lure him in just so the Senju could slit his throat as he tried to go for an easy kill, the second thing he wondered was why the hell he couldn’t get his body to move to try to strike the Senju down. It was as if his body was rebelling against his own wishes, he’d never have a chance to get one over on the white demon like this again!

A cry of “Tobirama!” Was soon heated through the field catching the attention of everyone, Hashirama breaking away from his fight with his best friend and rival.

Soon enough Hashirama was between the two, Madara trailing not too far behind him as to see what the commotion was on the other side of the battle field, Izuna backed off; he knew when he could and couldn’t stand a chance against someone.

Hashirama took his younger brother into his arms, inspecting him. Tobirama’s face was skewed up in agony, eyes closed tightly as tears flowed from them. Hashirama was shocked as were every other Senju, and most Uchiha who’s heads all had turned toward the scream.

Not finding any extensive injuries Hashirama immediately knew it had to be something with the sickness his brother had been having over the last few months. Hashirama stood up with his younger brother in his arms as both the Uchiha and Senju looked on as the clan head and clan heir of the Senju clan left calling for a retreat with one holding the other who was quivering from the pains.

“Retreat! We’re calling for a retreat, all Senju leave the battlefield, your clan heir needs to be seen immediately!” Hashirama spoke loud and clearly to his people, making his way through the brush back toward the Senju compound, as the rest followed suit.

Madara and Izuna's eyes were wide, along with most of the Uchiha still present on the battlefield. No one thought the white demon capable of pain as he had never shown it on the battlefield before, that’s where the name of the white demon came to be, only demons were unable to feel.

“What kind of injury did you give him otouto?” Madara asked, bewildered at the events that had just taken place.

“Only minor ones that would need stitches at most aniki… I didn’t cause that pain.”

“Then what did!?” Madara yelled, even more confused at his younger brother's revelation. Soon enough they also left the battlefield heading back to their own compound.

-
As Hashirama rushed into the compound, the ones who stayed behind to protect the children of the clan were shocked to see their clan head holding on tightly to their clan heir running as fast as he could towards the medical unit.

Hashirama burst through the building he had constructed for the medical ward and placed a now unconscious Tobirama gingerly down onto one of the cots in a room.

“The best healers get here now!” Hashirama bellowed out, soon hearing multiple pairs of rushing feet towards them. As the healers burst into the room Hashirama’s hands were already glowing green, healing the minuscule wounds on his little brother.

“Don’t stand there! I need you all to look him over now!” That snapped the healers into work mode as they rushed into the room assisting their clan head in healing and looking over their clan heir.

After a while Hashirama had healed all the small wounds caused by the battle into nothing but small scars and bruises, when he looked up finally and was met with wide eyes of an elderly Senju healer that had taken care of them since their birth, Hashirama sucked in a breath worrying as to what could have her frozen in place, ‘was tobi dying?’ Hashirama couldn't help but let the thought into his head.

“Makoto-San… What seems to be the diagnosis?” Hashirama asked, brushing the ever growing hair off his little brother's forehead, looking down with a sad expression on his face.

“Hashirama-Sama… I don’t know how to say this. I’ve never even in my 47 years of life seen something like this…” the healer finally spoke looking up to her clan head.

Hashirama made eye contact with her and sighed. “Just tell me Makoto-San what is wrong with Tobi?”

“…”

A resounding thump was heard throughout the Senju compound.

-

Tobirama slowly opened his eyes and was met with the white ceiling of the infirmary ward of the medical building in the compound. The last thing he remembered was collapsing on the battlefield in front of a shocked Izuna, he’d have laughed at the memory had it not been for his elder brother standing at the end of his bed looking down on him with an out of focus gaze with a bandage around his head.

“Why didn’t you tell me otouto?” Hashirama asked, hurt clearly evident in his voice.

“Anija, listen I didn’t want you to know, i didn’t want to worry you…” Tobirama began only to be cut off.

“Tobi, this could end the war! Why wouldn’t you want me to know!” Hashirama waved his hands exasperated, tears streaming down his face.

“End the war? Anija… what are you talking about?” Tobirama sat up in the infirmary bed, making eye contact with his elder brother.

“This is great news! Madara will surely end the war because of this, Tobi! You should have informed me from the beginning, I’m upset you didn’t trust me enough to know of this…” Hashirama spoke, placing his hand on his brother's leg and rubbing comfortingly.

“Anija, be serious! How the hell is, me having a tumor going to end the war!?” Tobirama spoke angrily, at his brother's stupidity.

“Wait… do you not even know otouto?” Hashirama asked, eyes softening looking up at his brother.

“Know what!?” Tobirama asked, getting fed up with the roundabout talking.

“Otouto… you’re pregnant.” Hashirama spoke softly.

“That’s impossible! I’m a biological male Hashirama! I can’t logically be pregnant. I do not possess the necessary equipment required to carry a child to term, I don't want to hear your stupid jokes to try to make me feel better about the fact that I’m dying!” Tobirama yelled.

“Otouto… why would I lie about something like this? I’ve never made jokes like this.”

“So… you’re not making jokes… what you said was true?” Tobirama asked, looking down at his midsection as if he could see through it like a Hyuga could.

“Yes, Tobi…After you collapsed, Makoto-San looked over you while you were unconscious and discovered it. I have double checked and confirmed…now that I knew what I was looking for I saw it, I can also sense the baby’s chakra within you now.”

Tobirama pushed his own chakra into his stomach and closed his eyes as he searched for it, and just as his brother had said there was a tiny source of chakra deep within him. His eyes widened, looking up to his brother, meeting his gaze.

“I… how- even with this being true, I fail to see how this will end the war, Anija.”

“It’s not the baby itself that will end the war, but who the father of the baby is that could spell the end of this war, otouto.”

“The father? But how!?”

“Tobi you don’t have to hide it any longer I know about it…”

“About what, Anija!?”

“The baby shares both yours and Madara’s chakra signatures…”

“WHAT!?” Tobirama yelled, sitting up fully now, groaning slightly as he felt a slight stinging in his stomach.

“Otouto? What’s wrong? Are you in pain again? Your organs are still shifting to accommodate the baby, you need to rest.”

“I’m fine Anija… what do you mean Madara is the other father?”

“The baby shares the chakra signatures of both you and Madara, which can only mean that he is the other father. Did you not know Tobi?”

“Anija! Madara and I have never done anything together! You know I wouldn’t get together with the enemy!”

“But he is the other father…”

To check to see if what his brother was saying was true, he once again reached within himself with his chakra and felt out the baby's chakra, trying to see both the chakra signatures of the baby. When he finally found them his mouth dropped open.

“What the hell!” Could be heard through the entire compound, waking nearly everyone.
