Chapter 6
Kakashi’s Pov
When we heard the knock on the door, both Naruto and I were confused as we hadn't been expecting anyone. Cloud Is getting prepared to go on a solo mission to gather some intel so he’s busy, hence the further confusion.
As Naru got up to go answer the door, I went back to reading my book. Naru has pretty much given up on trying to take them away from me. I may not like the author, but I love the writing and unfortunately there isn't anything I can do about that.
When I hear Naru gasp I put my book down and go to see who is at the door. I honestly wasn’t expecting Rey Namikaze to be the one there. If I’m being honest, out of the kids I would have expected Eddie to be the one to show up. Oh well, I'm surprised.
“Again, I know I have no right to be here, and if you want me to tell you what I know, I will leave. I won't bother you or approach you unless it's about ninja stuff. Just please, you need to hear this.” hearing the end of what Rey was saying, in all honesty I am curious. To have one of the triplets turn up at our door, practically begging us to hear her out. Along with her saying she knows she has no right to Naru or our son. Let's just say, my curiosity has peaked.
Coming up behind Naru, I say.
“Naru, it might be worth it to hear what she has to say”. As I say this Naru visibly relaxes a little bit. To Rey it probably looks like Naru relaxed a lot, but she doesn't know Naru like I do.
When Naru moved away from blocking the entry and Rey walked in, I could tell the girl was nervous. Just like anyone coming into someone else’s home for the first time, she took a curious glance around. Though she didn't make a comment on anything, which I was pleased with. Naru came over to me after she had closed the door again, and I can tell she is nervous. Though I don't blame her, we have no idea why Rey is here.
We gestured for Rey to sit down on the opposite couch, I'm glad she could tell that Naru needed an escape and said yes to the tea. As I watched Naru in the kitchen I had to get my questions out of the way, I know Naru was listening in, so now is a good time. “So what did you come here for? On the Hokages order or Kushinas? To get close to our son?”
The answer that I received shocked me, especially when she said that she knew we had had a child. That she technically had a nephew, but Rey knew she had no right to see him, and I was happy with that answer. Glancing into the kitchen I can tell Naru was happy with that answer as well, we may not know what she wants to tell us, but I bet it will be interesting.
When Naru came back with the drinks and sat down, that is when Rey started. When she said that Minato and Kushina wanted to give both clan titles and responsibilities to Menma, I couldn’t believe it. I looked at Naru and saw she was on the verge of tears, I knew she needed to go and get cloud for the remainder of this conversation.
“How do we know what you have said isn't a lie, from what I remember though even at a younger age you never lied but times change. I have to make sure what you are saying is true, and if it is I need to get Cloud here for the rest of this talk. He will be just as angry as Kashi is but it's better to get it done than having to repeat it. You also said the main reason, so I’m to guess that there is more that you want to say?
I also want to thank you for respecting what invisible lines we have in place. You came here to tell us this or more me, but you have not once asked to see our son or called me your sister. So for that I thank you.” I'm honestly surprised I wasn't the first one to say it, though currently I'm trying to stop myself from going on a murder spree, so I was a little distracted.
The genuine shock on Rey’s face was kind of funny, though I understand why she is shocked. Everyone always wanted to see our son, and they wouldn’t respect the boundaries we had in place. So whenever anyone was over, even if he was down for a nap, they would try and see him. More often than not waking him up, so we are more than always kicking people out.
“With that said, I need to go get Cloud for the rest of this conversation. He needs to hear it, so I will explain everything to him that has already been said to save time. When I get back Sean will more than likely be awake or waking up so there is that, but Cloud will be here as well. Kakashi, please stay here and do something. Ray, I will be back and I'm sorry I have to go get Cloud. I will be back” with that Naru disappeared in a swirl of red. I looked over at Ray and saw that her eyes widened.
“I'm just curious and need to verbalize this before my mind explodes, Does she have the Kyuubi back completely?” she said in a very curious and surprised voice, keeping her eyes focused on the spot Naru disappeared from.
Chuckling lightly I looked at her fully, “as long as you don't tell anyone, (receiving a nod in return) yes she does, I don't know when the Kyuubi was fully back, but it was recently.”
Seeing the look that I was getting in return to the information that I just gave, I openly laughed.
“Well, she is going to be gone for a while. Do you want to talk about the test that is going to be done tomorrow?”
I got a very eager nod at both what I said and the very obvious subject change, laughing again. I told her what could possibly go on tomorrow, while waiting for Naru to get back. It's a good distraction.
With Naruto
Author POV
Naru disappeared into a whirl of red, and turned up where her brother currently was. With Cloud going on a mission soon, he was at home packing. With Naru showing up out of no wear, Cloud being the completely trained special force that he was, did not jump through the roof.
Taking a breath and gaining his composure back, Cloud turned to Naru and gave her a look that said everything. Naru seeing this look laughed harder than what she already was, it took her a little bit before she took a breath to calm down.
“Ok, ok. I'm sorry, I shouldn’t have done that but 1. I have a good reason, and 2. I really couldn’t resist. So, sorry but not sorry.” Cloud just continued to look at his sister with confusion, wondering why she was here and popping in like that to see his reaction. She hadn’t done that for a long time, not since something big happened anyway.
“Ok then, so what's happened?” Cloud, fully turning to his sister, asked her directly, knowing that something had happened.
Naru looked at her brother and took a deep breath and explained what she knew so far.

“So yeah, Rey is currently back with Kakashi and Sean. She came to us not expecting anything, she just wanted to hear us out. She said that it was probably a good idea to get you, especially for the next bit. We waited to come get you because we didn't know what she would say, but after what she has said we thought it would be good.” as Naru said this Cloud was honestly stunned. From what Naru had said so far this is very serious.
“How do you know she is telling the truth?” It was an honest question, because they both knew they couldn't trust them at all, but what has made his sister act like this at all those words, if it wasn’t true.
“She had the truth seal, the one that I found and thought I had hidden again when we still lived in that place. Rey found it and drew it on herself before coming to us, it was still slightly fresh when she showed us. Cloud, trust me, every word she has said this afternoon has been the truth.”
“Ok Naru, I trust you. Let me quickly change, I’ve pretty much finished packing anyway so then we are all good to go. Then we can hear what this last part is and go from there.” With that said, Cloud went and got changed and made his way back to Naru.
“Are we ready to go, and see what this news is?”
Taking a breath Naru looks to her brother and smiles, “as ready as I can be”
With that said, Naru again disappears in red. Where Cloud disappears right after her in white.
Time to face what was to come.
