Chapter 5 – And so Begins the Tort-I mean Training
It had been a week now and after all the funerals and ceremonies had been conducted. They were all finally ready to leave, only this time, there were 6 others with them, Muramasa, his wife, and his 2 sons with their wives.
They were all excited to start their new lives and even more so to finally learn the family craft from their father who refused to teach them saying that their techniques were a waste on common metal and the replacement of the Uzumaki metals by anything was an insult.
Naruto had set up the space bridge in his study in the library and was carrying the other end with him in a scroll, along with another that contained the scrolls he was reading right now such as chakra control and manipulation exercises, basics of fuinjutsu etc.
Muramasa himself was carrying 5 different scrolls each containing enough ore to make quite a few swords, all in a blood sealed scroll only openable by Muramasa himself.
He had asked Naruto if anyone in the Yotsuki family uses swords, because he could get his sons started by making swords for them, and since he was part of their family it would be alright with his permission. Naruto had replied by telling him about Bee’s 7-sword-style. Which was part of the reason he was carrying so much ore, it was the perfect opportunity for them to learn at least the basics of the family techniques and how only Uzumaki metals could be used for their unique forging skills.
“A-san, how much longer will it take to reach Kumo?” Questioned Muramasa’s older son, Kaide. He stood at around 6 feet tall wearing long blue slacks and a sleeveless shirt showing his toned arms, as though he had been in a working in a forge all his life.
“Another 2 hours at this rate. We are almost there, we just need to climb the mountain ahead of us, which is where the village gates are located, from there we go straight to report to my father, and you can get your citizenship, and I am sure you will want your compound next to so we will have to figure that out as well.” Said A
“That’s not all A, the compound size does not matter much as long as it can house us properly, what matters more is that there is a forge inside the compound built under my directions specifically. It will take time to set up but I will need it done in 2 months if I am to be able to start teaching my sons the craft and start on your brother’s swords.” Interjected Muramasa, who’s face showed just how excited he was to once again work in a forge.
“Yes, yes I got that, but really why do you need it built specifically under your directions, isn’t a standard forge enough.” Questioned A in an annoyed tone that reflected just how many times the custom-forge had been mentioned.
“You’d think so, but no for these metals to work properly the forge will need to be at least twice the size of a standard forge, with a lot more delicate and precise tools than those used by most blacksmiths, although most of it is with me already.” He said with a smirk as he patted his backpack containing scrolls.
“All the tools used in the forge are custom-made in Uzu with chakra-conductive metal and covered from top to bottom in seals.” He finished.
“Woah, which metal are they made from?” Questioned Naruto.
“Well, that is more difficult to answer.” Said Muramasa with a sigh. “Some are made with the chakra conductive metal from the land of steel where the metal is neutral to all elements. While some of them are made from the Uzumaki metals like Abbysium or Solarite.” He finished.
“Makes it easier when we are heating and cooling the metals.” He spoke.

“Here we are” said C “You need to go to the entrance desk and tell the guards you are looking into moving there. Mention that the raikage already knows you are coming, Raikage-sama has already given them notice.”
“Come Naruto, C we must sneak in the same way we originally did.” Said A, scowling at the oversight in the security of the village.
After entering the village, A told C to go back to the entrance desk and get the rest of the Muramasa clan, to the raikage tower.

As they all entered the Raikage tower, A was once again back to his cowering state, as he thought of how annoyed his father was going to be at him for how just how much had happened during this trip, especially the fact that Naruto was the official head of 2 Ancient clans, the shitstorm this would cause for village politics in the future was no doubt going to bite him in the ass when he was Raikage, not to mention just how the rings were going to be teaching Naruto.
Flashback Start
As Naruto and the Muramasa clone went back after a day of studying, Naruto was mentally exhausted and ready for a good night’s sleep as soon as he ate dinner, but it seemed luck wasn’t in his favor this time around as when A saw the rings on his hand. His eyes grew larger than saucers, and his jaw dropped. As the next in line for the Yotsuki clan, he knew of the rings and the power they wielded, to be wearing just one of them made you enough of a target, but Naruto had 2 on him.
“WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED” A exclaimed.
“Oi, mind your language, he’s a child.” Chided the clone. “Anyways, I’m not sticking around long enough to be the one to explain, let me leave that to the original.” He said before dispelling.
As the original walked over having received the memories from his clone, he could not help but complain about his useless shadow clones, their whole purpose was to take one for the team, but this one just left him high and dry.
“Alright, I can explain, and also don’t worry, the rings turn invisible.” He quickly said, as the glare he got from A lessen at hearing that.
“A-nii, do you also know about these rings, they are supposed to be super important and they’re really cool.” Naruto said excitedly as he showed A the rings.
A had to admit, he had never seen one of the ‘Ancient’ clan signet rings outside of photos, and those pictures did not do them justice. No other metal he had seen glowed nearly as brightly. But this was not the time to admire them.
“Yes Naruto, they are. But remember this, you are to keep those rings invisible unless either pops or I tell you to make them visible. Those rings might be awesome as you said, but they could make you to get a lot of attention from bad people, even Kumo would be affected because as you know, the Namikaze or Uzumaki clans had nothing to do with us before you.” A said with serious and stern look on his face.
“People might think we kidnapped you from Konoha. And your godfather Jiraiya, might end up finding you through his spy network. Your father told me that he did not trust Jiraiya to properly take care of you. If he found, you he might not listen and take you to Konoha and even declare war on us for kidnapping you like they think might think.” Naruto gulped, looking pale at the thought of war, and being kidnapped away from his family.
“Ok A-nii, I won’t let anyone see it.” Naruto said looking determined.
Flashback End
As the group of 9 walked into the Raikage office.
“Explain everything, NOW.” He said no longer looking like the tired man who had fought multiple shinobi wars, but instead, the battle-hardened veteran leader that he was. Naruto, C & the entirety of the Muramasa clan took a step back at seeing the commanding aura that he gave off. Bee just waved from the sofa near the door.
“Ok, let’s sit down, it’s a long story.” Said A, sighing at the long, long report he would have to give, at least he didn’t have to write it since it was not an official mission.

Time-skip
It was now exactly 6 months to Naruto’s 6th birthday and he had been training rigorously since the day. He now wore the standard garb worn by most Kumo shinobi and had more muscle than most 5 year old did and was also much faster than most. They had stopped using any sort of gravity or weight seals half a year ago since it had gone high enough that it might stunt his growth.
He would now train physically without them and spent much more time on studying and training his aim, chakra control, fuinjutsu and hand seal speed instead and other less straining shinobi arts .
“Hey, Naruto.” Said Muramasa as he entered the compound to find Naruto, who was sitting on a lake meditating.
“Yeah, what’s up Muramasa-jiji?” Questioned Naruto, the 2 had spent quite a bit of time together as Muramasa told him all he knew about both his clans, so they were quite close to each other.
“I have made this seal for you, it stores chakra. You have exactly 4 months to fill it. I need it to make your sword. The process will take longer than usual and cost much more chakra because I have to mix all 5 metals in exactly the right ratio to match how strong each element is compared to the other. I will have another more specialized version of the chakra litmus paper to check how much of each metal is needed. Make sure the seal is full by the time its done.

Time-skip
It was now 2 months to Naruto’s 6th birthday. Naruto was walking to the Muramasa compound which was just a few minutes away from the Yotsuki compound. He had finally managed to fill the seal a week ago. It had been tough to make sure the chakra was only his and not the Kyuubi’s, otherwise his sword could have become another consciousness for the kyuubi instead.
“Oi, Muramasa-jiji, I filled that seal you wanted, how much chakra did it absorb, it took me sooooo long to fill it!” Complained Naruto.
“Hahaha, good job. Don’t blame me for you having all 5 affinities, if you had 1 or maybe 2 you could have filled the seal in a few weeks. But to make your sword sentient, I need your chakra, which has your life force, and physical, spiritual energy.” Explained Muramasa.
“I will be conducting a few tests on you as well as your chakra to see what type of sword you are most suited to. Come I have them ready.” Said Muramasa ushering him inside.

As they walked into the forge, Naruto was amazed. The machinery everywhere, was very sophisticated, and he knew they were all covered in seals to make it all the more effective.
“Here, see those stacks of paper? And the clay moulds next to it?” Questioned Muramasa, while pointing to a small desk with 2s stack of blank paper on it, and next to it a pile of clay moulds in the corner.
“Grab one of the moulds, as of now they are general but I need you to drop a few drops of blood on it and channel chakra into it. It will change the mould’s shape into the perfect blade for you, even if it is multiple blades.” Explained Muramasa.
“The stack of large papers are a special variant of the litmus paper that would have ideally been made by the Uzumaki and given to you earlier, but it’s a pretty high level seal so I took my time a made a bunch for you. It will tell you your affinity to each of the ninja arts, so you know what you are best at.” He breathed out. “But you must remember this, if it shows no affinity for a subject, that does not mean you cannot master it, it will just be more difficult to do.”
“The final stack of paper, is the chakra litmus paper to test your affinities to see how strong each are compared to each other.” Said Muramasa.
“Can we start with nature release one?” Questioned an excited Naruto who’s jaw had dropped.
“Alright, come.” Muramasa said as he grabbed the Nature release one and gave it to Naruto while holding onto the other 2.
Naruto channelled chakra into it and unlike regular litmus paper, this one did not fall apart. It instead showed the percentage for each release.
Wind: 18%
Lightning- 16%
Water- 12%
Fire- 10%
Earth- 7%
“Looks like wind is your strongest element with water right behind it. Give me the paper, I’ll need to note it down, show this to Raikage-sama when he gets home, it will help him with your training.” Said Muramasa as he pulled out a notepad from somewhere. “Also, remember, that way to know if you have mastered an element is when your affinity goes to 100%. So take a bunch when you leave, you can keep checking to measure your progress.”
He then thrust the mold into his hand and spoke. “Here, 5 drops of blood and keep channeling chakra until it stops changing shape.
Naruto put it onto the ground and got a kunai from a seal on his wrist and nicked his finger. As the blood was done and he touched the mold and started channeling chakra, it changed shape in front of him.
Turning into a 160-cm long mold that was 6 cm wide, with the mold being one of a katana blade, although it was longer than average katana blades at 150cm and 4 cm wide.
“Well then, at least we know you’re going to be tall, I’m sure it will serve you well. Now give it to me, and take this litmus paper, we are going to check your affinity towards each of the shinobi arts now.” Muramasa laughed out as he examined the mold, mentally doing calculations and estimates on how he was going to make the katana.
“Alright, here goes.” Said Naruto as he dropped 3 drops of blood and channeled chakra into the paper.
Ninjutsu – 98/100

“Hey is that good?” question Naruto.
“My kami, those are some seriously unbalanced affinities. 2 of them are below 50, while 4 are 90 or above, and only 1 is average. Well, I think I can tell you why this is.” Said Muramasa with a dry chuckle.
“It’s because I have too much chakra for genjutsu or medical jutsu, right?” questioned Naruto. “I read that the Uzumaki clan usually have too much chakra for those 2, so they created seals to make sure they could do those.
“Yes, and ninjutsu is probably because of the Namikaze clan along with the monstrous reserves you have, and the taijutsu and fuinjutsu comes from both your parents, while kenjutsu is a specialty of the Uzumaki clan.” Said Muramasa .
“Well then, I think its best if you get started on fuinjutsu properly, I know that until now Raikage-sama had restricted you to only calligraphy and kanji writing. But I will speak to him on that.” Said Muramasa.
“What about Shurikenjutsu?” questioned Naruto. “Does this mean I’ll never be good with kunai or shuriken?” He asked.
“No, no don’t worry about that, 60 is average, in Shurikenjutsu so its fine. While it will not be as easy as kenjutsu or fuinjutsu, if given more time it could be just as good as the other 2.” Placated Muramasa.
“Ok! I’m going to go show this to A-nii and tou-san so that they train me even more.” Exclaimed Naruto, his joy visibly contagious.

As Naruto reached back home just in time for dinner, he found Bee & A in the living room as Raizen was in the kitchen, being in charge of the cooking for the day.
As they all sat down to eat food, Raizen asked. “So Naruto-kun, anything new you learnt at Muramasa’s today?”
Naruto suddenly then jumped up and spoke. “I knew I was forgetting something.” And then pulled a stack of paper out of his pocket. “Here, they are like better versions of the regular chakra paper, it shows your affinity for all 5 elements out of 100, and if you mastered an element, it would show 100% affinity for it.” Said Naruto as he excitedly handed out the papers.
Just hearing this got them extremely curious, and shocked, these kinds of resources could help them provide much better teachers at the academy. “Did you try them already?” Questioned the 3rd raikage.
Naruto nodded his head up and down excitedly, and then took one himself and channeled chakra through it just like he did in the day, prompting the same response as earlier. “Here you go.” He said as he handed his results over.
“Interesting.” Mused Raizen, “Does this also show other nature releases like storm release or lava release?”
Naruto just shook his head confusedly, I don’t know, it only been used by Uzumaki before, you guys are probably the first non-Uzumaki to use these.” Said Naruto nonchalantly not noticing the effect his words had on his family.
Raizen looked shocked as he knew just how zealously secret techniques were hidden by clans. “Are you sure you want us to try then? Questioned A.
“Yeah, you guys are still my family.” Replied Naruto.
All 3 looked touched. “Well then, I’ll go first.” Said A.

“Well, then A, this means you will be going through some more of my tort- I mean training until you have at least one affinity mastered.” Cackled Raizen with a sadistic glee on his face.
Seeing this Bee, just hoped his was better, even though he knew A was better than him with lighting chakra. “I’ll go next.” Bee sighed.

“You will be joining in as well Bee.” Said Raizen, Bee just gulped looking paler than usual.
“My turn now” Said Raizen. “Maybe I can try learning another element now.”

“Well then, it seems all 3 of us will have to work on our affinities.” Said Raizen.
Naruto then pulled out another paper, this one being the one that showed his affinity to different ninja arts. “He gave me this as well, he said this one shows my affinity for each ninja art.,” said Naruto.
Once again mind boggled by the sheer genius of the Uzumaki clan, they finally understand why their village just could not product an average ninja. It’s because they all knew exactly what their best areas would be!
“How accurate is this?” Questioned A.
“Very.” Replied Naruto “It’s been used by the Uzumaki clan for a long time. Here is mine.”
“Well then, I think it’s safe for you to start making seals and learning more fuinjutsu now. Your restrictions are gone, and with all the theory you did till now, I expect the first 2 levels to be easy.” Said Raizen. “After getting your sword, I will give you 2 months to master the basics, and then I will put you through the same bootcamp as these 2 did at your age, in fact, we all will do it.”
“With the shadow clone jutsu you learnt from Naruto, it should be perfectly fine as well. We should try to master all the elements we are good at.” Said Bee, although you could tell from how pale he had gotten that it was not something he was going to enjoy.

It had now been 4 months since that day and the raikage had finally said that they were starting their bootcamp from tomorrow.
“Now, from tomorrow you guys are going to start the bootcamp, I won’t be doing it along with you obviously, I’m too old now!” he exclaimed. “I will leave clones to do paperwork, and one with each of you, while I try to think of new exercises to master my wind and water element.” He spoke.
“Wait I think there are scrolls from beginner to master level for each element in the Uzumaki library, I don’t mind you using it.” Naruto said, getting shocked looks from his family, are you certain Naruto?” Questioned Raizen.
“Yeah, I checked with the old people inside the ring, they said its fine since you blood-adopted me, while you can’t go in the library, I can give you a few simple things like this because I am still part Yotsuki.” He said as he looked at the rings on his hand and just how much more special, they were than what he had originally thought.
Flashback: On Naruto’s 6th birthday.
“Hey Naruto, now that everyone has left, let’s get done with the final piece of business for the day, your katana. It’s ready.” Said Muramasa. “It is definitely the best I’ve ever forged, and more difficult that anything I have ever forged before.” He exclaimed with a proud smile on his face.
“Naruto told me a bit more about these metals and the way they interact with the different elements, I’m wondering just how you stabilized the metal, I was sure it would be nigh-impossible.” Raizen asked looking curious.
Muramasa’s smile got even wider if that was possible. “That’s all thanks to this guy’s chakra, for a normal ninja to get one of these blades, they need to train to get their chakra dense enough to fuse with the metals, an Uzumaki usually reaches that same level of denseness required by the age of 5-6 years, the natural denseness of their chakra depends on how many affinities they have.” He spoke.
“In Naruto’s case, he has all five affinities, so his chakra is unnaturally dense even for an Uzumaki, that mixed with the extremely large amount I asked him to give me as a precaution, is the stabilizing and bonding agent for the metal, if not for it, I have no doubt the metals would have likely had an adverse reaction and likely created a big accident.” He finished.
“Well then, that certainly is impressive, your clan truly lives up to its name as the greatest blacksmiths in history, I have no doubt had anyone, but a member of your clan tried such a thing, it would not have worked.” Said A.
Muramasa chuckled. “Yes, that is true, it is our bloodline ability that allows us to create semi-sentient objects through chakra.”
“We should get started though.” Said Muramasa looking infinitely more serious now. “The katana needs to be awakened by Naruto-kun to be truly sentient. Naruto will meet with the consciousness of the katana in his mind, to unlock its true power, he must be true to himself and remember, that chakra that forms the consciousness is his own, he cannot lie to it.”
“This is imperative.” He spoke. “I have a feeling he is in for another surprise though.”
“Oh, what’s that?” Questioned Bee.
“I shall explain after Naruto has started the ceremony, for now.” He said as he took out a storage scroll from his pocket and unsealed a black box containing the katana.
“Take it, and remove the katana, rob some blood on the sheath as well as the blade of the katana and then channel chakra into both, this will make it so only you can unsheathe it and are recognized as the katana’s owner.” Said Muramasa holding out the box to Naruto.
He took it with trembling hands as he opened it, revealing a beautiful katana laying on a silk bed in the box. The sheath was a shining black in color, with golden color patterns of dragons on it, a golden color tsuba and a handle wrapped in a black color cloth. It looked absolutely stunning.
As he slowly lifted the katana and unsheathed it, he was nearly blinded by the light that reflected off the blade of the katana. It was a shining red color, with black flames running along the top side of the blade.
As he gripped the katana it felt right, like he had been reunited with a piece of himself that he never knew was missing, the katana was an extension of his body and soul.
He then conducted the ceremony, before falling suddenly slumping back in his seat, unconscious.
“This is the moment of truth, let’s see, is he able to see his own subconscious desires.” Said Muramasa.
“You spoke of a possible surprise that Naruto might face, will this affect his test with the katana in any way?” Questioned a worried Raizen.
“No, no nothing of the sort, it is simply another ability of the signet rings, as you know they contain the consciousness of those who wore it before, I had thought they would have met him 2 years ago when he first wore it, but I believe that this is the first time one person has 2 rings, and the kyuubi to deal with before being able to access their own mind. As such they were unable to create the connection. With him finally going to his mind where the spirits lay dormant. This connection might finally form.” He said looking pensive.
The others however were stunned, they themselves were not yet an ancient family and did not know their secrets, to hear of the capabilities of this ring truly shocked them.
“What do you mean by ‘meet them’?” Questioned A.
“I mean that the rings host the consciousness of each person who wore it before, and wearing the ring creates a mental connection between the person wearing the ring and the consciousness that are contained within the ring.” Explained Muramasa.
“They can choose to teach him, they can choose to ignore him should they feel he is betraying their clans’ ideals; this is to prevent a situation like the Uzumaki clan where only Naruto was left and he was unaware of the true extent of his heritage.”
“My god, I knew that the daimyos gave great gifts to the Ancient clans, but that is nothing short of amazing, especially when it comes to knowledge which is considered the greatest weapon in the ninja world.” Breathed out Raizen, amazed by the possibilities of the ring.”
“Ideally Naruto would learn this from the clan head, but considering he is no more, I have told you of this, make sure you never tell anyone of it, it’s a secret that only the clan head and clan heir of the ancient clans know. Not even the rest of their clan knows this.” Demanded Muramasa.

With Naruto
“What is your greatest desire? What is your greatest desire? What is your greatest desire?”
He kept hearing those words on repeat and wondered what is truly was. Muramasa-jiji had said the katana can tell if I lie, so I must figure out what it is before answering. He thought.
He sat there for nearly an hour, looking at the nothingness that surrounded him, it was a pure white void, only him and nothing else.
He finally got frustrated enough to yell out “COME ON YOU DUMB KATANA! I NEED TO BE STRONG TO PROTECT MY FRIENDS AND MY FAMILY!”
He then paused. “That’s it! I got it.” He exclaimed.
“My greatest desire is to become strong to protect my friends and my family.” He said with confidence.
“You are true to yourself. You know what you want. You have unlocked my full power.” Said his katana as it suddenly materialized in front of him.
“Ne, what is your name?”
“I do not have a name; you may give me one if you wish.” Said the katana.
“I’ll call you Crimson Death.” Questioned Naruto. “Is this my mind? Its so blank.” Said Naruto.
“No this is not your mind, I simply brought us to a place where we have privacy.” Said Crimson Death. “You have far too many inhabitants in your mind.”
“Wait who?” Questioned Naruto wondering who else seemed to have taken residence in his mind beside the kyuubi.
“They have been waiting to meet you it seems, come let us go greet them.” Crimson Death said.
Suddenly they were in what looked like a copy of Uzushiogakure, except there was a huge cage in the ocean behind Uzu.
2 people were approaching them as they walked through, one had red hair, and the other had bright yellow hair, the same shade as Naruto’s.
“Hello there, I am Ashina Uzumaki, and the person next to me in Genshiro Namikaze, may we ask who you are, I expected my daughter Kushina to be wearing this ring.” Said Ashina.
“You also look extremely similar to my son Minato, but you are not him since you also wear the Uzumaki signet ring.” Said Genshiro.
“I am Uzumaki-Namikaze-Yotsuki Naruto, I am both your grandson if your children are Uzumaki Kushina and Namikaze Minato.” Said Naruto. “But what are you doing here? Aren’t you guys dead now?” He questioned looking overwhelmed at meeting his biological family.
“Well then, may I ask why you are wearing these rings instead of your parents, and don’t they know better than to make one person heir to both clans.” Questioned Genshiro.
“What relation do you have to the Yotsuki of Kumo, should you not be in either Uzu or Konoha? Questioned Ashina.
“Umm, they died the day I was born, because the kyuubi escaped the seal when mom gave birth to me. I never knew them. They died sealing the kyuubi into me. Dad thought that Konoha might not like me very much for being its jinchuuriki so when A-niisan found them dying tou-san asked him to take me to Kumo and adopt me.” Explained Naruto, his expression becoming sadder with each word.
Both recoiled as though physically struck. “How old are you now, seeing as your katana is here for the first time, I am hoping you are 6. Did you find the Muramasa clan?” questioned Ashina frantically.
“Yes Ashina-jiji, I found Muramasa-jiji when I was 4, he took me to uzushio and helped me get the rings and access the library and everything, his clan lives next to us in Kumo now.”
“Good.” He exhaled a sigh of relief.
“Wait… this means you are related to all 4 ancient clans.” Said Genshiro. Both Ashina and Genshiro had a blank look on their face upon realizing that.
“The blood of all 4 ancient clans, as well as the Yotsuki clan which is the Raikage family of Kumo. I cannot wait for your training, the amount of potential you have is frightening.” Said Ashina.
“Let us not forget about the Namikaze ability mixed with the large chakra reserves from his Uzumaki and Yotsuki side as well as being jinchuuriki of the kyuubi.” Said Genshiro looking like a child in a candy store.
“Wait I thought there would be more people in the ring though, why are only you 2 here?” Naruto questioned.
Ashina sighed. “That is the biggest flaw of this ring, since my father’s consciousness taught me everything he knew, I am capable of teaching you everything he taught me and everything I came up with myself. As such there is no need of him here anymore and his consciousness simply remains within the seal and does not do anything.”
“That actually makes sense.” Naruto said looking surprised at the reasoning.
“I want you to imagine your results for both the litmus papers.” Ordered Ashina.
Naruto just nodded along and did as asked. Upon seeing the results, both started smiling and laughing like maniacs.
“Now go, we need to plan your training.” Ordered Genshiro and Ashina nodded along, the sadistic grins on their faces not making it any easier for him to relax.

“Well, what happened?” Questioned A.
Naruto simply sat still blinking the light out of his eye before answering. “I met my grandfather from both sides.” He said as tears started falling down his face at finally meeting his biological family.
They all smiled, knowing just how much he yearned to know if his birth family would be proud of him.

Flashback end:
It had been 2 months to that day and they were finally going to start the bootcamp.
“Alright Naruto, make 600 clones. 100 clones to go to the library and read on the topics I told you, 50 clones for each element, I will send a clone with each group to help supervise. 50 for kenjutsu, 50 for taijutsu. 100 for chakra control. 25 for fuinjutsu and 25 for Shurikenjutsu.” Barked out Raizen. “I will make clones to help supervise the training.”
“A, Bee, how many clones can you both make?” Questioned Raizen.
“I can make 500 and give them enough chakra to train the entire day.” Said A.
“I can make 900 and they will all have enough chakra to train all day.” Said Bee.
“Ok then, Bee, 150 for fire & earth each, and 200 each for water, wind & lightning. You have the potential to master all 5 elements and be a ninjutsu master as jinchuuriki of the Hachibi.” Said Raizen much to the shock of the other 2.
“Ar-are you serious?” Bee asked looking stunned, he thought they would go one by one, and much a far lesser number of clones, this kind of training was going to boost his chakra reserves greatly as well.
“Yes I am, now A, you make 120 for water, wind and lightning each, and 70 each for fire & earth.” Raizen said. He himself made make 607 clones, and considering he did not need any training for his lightning element, he decided to send 150 to each element, while 1 went to the office to do paperwork and the other 6 were to supervise Naruto’s clones with one for each element and one for taijutsu, there was no need to supervise the rest considering that as an Uzumaki they had to do special exercises to reach the same level of control as others and the other 2 were also being taught by his grandfathers.
Naruto then handed each group the exercises he had gotten from his clans’ library for each element. Completion of every exercise for an element would mean 100% mastery in that element. That wasn’t an easy task though considering there were over 25 exercises of varying difficulties for each element.
“Oh yeah, I just remembered, make sure that before the clones dispel the original knows and is ready for the backlash, and also no more than 25 clones a minute.
The originals were just wondering what to do until the original Raizen yelled at them “Stop being lazy asses! We will start physical training now. That’s the only thing the clones can’t do, muscles memory yes, but no actual physical training. So, follow me, this is going to be our daily routine now.
They then did grueling physical exercise for the rest of the day before their clones started to disperse.
“Alright, now that all the clones are back. You, clones need to disperse 25 per minute, this way we won’t faint to brain damage, we will also be meditating and focusing on the knowledge transferred and go through the progress made today.” As Raizen said that the 4 originals sat down and started meditating, It had more than 30 minutes for all the clones to disperse, and as the fatigue wore in, they all realized why no one attempted this kind of training, Naruto had passed out from exhaustion, both physical and mental as not only had he done all the exercise but he had also read over a 100 books today, while the 3 older shinobi were able to handle it much better, they too knew it was better to just turn in for the night.
