Home, Sweet Home

It had been a couple of months since her mother passed, and though the ache of loss lingered, Caitlyn had learned to navigate the weight of her responsibilities. The Kiramman businesses demanded constant attention, and her clinic—though still dear to her heart—had become something she managed more than actively practiced in. She’d entrusted its daily operations to Madie, one of the newly hired vets, whose enthusiasm for the role had already proven invaluable.

Caitlyn sat in her office at the Kiramman tower, the morning sun streaming through the large windows as she poured over reports. Her desk was cluttered with documents outlining projections for the next quarter and proposals for potential investments. Despite the busyness of her schedule, she couldn’t help but feel the pull of exhaustion. She’d been stretched thin, balancing the clinic, the businesses, and her personal life—or what little of it remained.

Her alone time with Vi had become painfully rare, a casualty of both their busy schedules. Most of the time, Vi would come into Caitlyn’s office at the tower, bringing lunch or dinner, and they’d share a meal while Cait worked through her endless documents. Caitlyn cherished those brief moments, even if they were far from the ideal picture of quality time. On the nights Vi stayed at the Kiramman mansion, she would arrive late, after finishing up at her bar, which was rapidly expanding thanks to Jayce’s connections. By the time Vi reached Caitlyn, she was usually already asleep. Their alone time would consist of Vi slipping into bed beside her, pulling her close, and holding her as they both drifted off to sleep. There wasn’t room for anything more, but Caitlyn deeply appreciated Vi’s quiet patience and understanding.

Caitlyn often found herself thinking about how much Vi had sacrificed to support her during these challenging months. She silently vowed to make it up to her, to show her just how much she valued her presence and the reassurance Vi brought to her life.

Her phone buzzed, snapping her from her thoughts. Glancing at the screen, she saw Madie’s name flashing. She answered, her voice professional but warm.

“Good morning, Madie.”

“Good morning, Dr. Kiramman,” Madie replied, her tone cheerful, though Caitlyn could detect a hint of nervousness in her voice. “I just wanted to remind you about today’s staff meeting at 10 AM. We’ll be going over the new protocols and discussing the implementation of the equipment you ordered.”

“Of course,” Caitlyn said, leaning back in her chair. “Thank you for the reminder. I’ll be there.”

Madie hesitated for a moment before adding, “It’s always great when you’re around. The team really values your input.”

Caitlyn smiled, oblivious to the subtext in Madie’s words. “I appreciate that. Thank you, Madie.”

After the call ended, Caitlyn glanced at the time. It was mid-morning, and she decided to use the lull in her business schedule to visit the clinic. Though she rarely had the chance to be involved directly, she missed the familiar hum of activity and the connection with her staff.

Arriving at the clinic, Caitlyn was greeted by the happy energy of the team. She was pleased to see how efficiently things were running, even without her day-to-day presence. The waiting area was full, and the new vets were seamlessly managing consultations.

Madie met her near the front desk, her face lighting up as Caitlyn approached. “Dr. Kiramman,” Madie greeted warmly. “It’s great to see you here. The staff has been excited about today’s meeting.”

Caitlyn offered a polite smile. “I’m glad to hear it. How are things going?”

“Busy, but in a good way,” Madie replied, walking beside Caitlyn as they moved through the clinic. “The new hires are settling in well, and the equipment you approved has made a world of difference.”

They entered the staff room, where the meeting was set to take place later that morning. Caitlyn greeted the team, exchanging pleasantries with the new vets and catching up briefly with a few familiar faces.

After the meeting, which went smoothly as expected, Madie lingered as the others dispersed. “Dr. Kiramman,” she began, her tone hesitant but eager, “if you have a moment, I’d love to show you the new blood chemistry machines and the CT scanner. They’ve been a game-changer for diagnostics.”

Caitlyn nodded, always happy to see how her investments were impacting patient care. “Of course. Lead the way.”

Madie beamed and led Caitlyn to the diagnostics wing. As she explained the features of the equipment with enthusiasm, Caitlyn listened intently, genuinely impressed by how Madie had taken the initiative to integrate the tools into the clinic’s workflow.

“Here, let me show you,” Madie said, stepping closer. She placed her hand lightly on Caitlyn’s arm as she guided her to the CT scanner. The touch was brief but lingered just enough to make Caitlyn notice.

Madie’s voice softened slightly as she added, “We’ve already diagnosed three cases this week alone that would’ve been much harder to catch without this.” She looked up at Caitlyn, her expression warm. “You’ve done so much for the clinic. It’s inspiring.”

Caitlyn offered a polite smile, shifting slightly to put some distance between them. “I’m glad the equipment is making a difference.”

Madie’s gaze lingered for a beat longer before she stepped back, her hands clasped in front of her. “It really is. The team appreciates everything you’ve done.”

They moved to the blood chemistry machines, and as Caitlyn bent to examine the display panel, Madie stood closer than necessary, her presence hovering just behind Caitlyn.

“You’re always so hands-on,” Madie said softly, her tone carrying a hint of admiration. “It’s one of the things the team loves about you.”

Caitlyn straightened, turning to face Madie with a measured expression. “Thank you, Madie. I trust you to keep things running smoothly here.”

Madie’s smile faltered slightly but recovered quickly. “Of course, Dr. Kiramman.”

As Caitlyn checked the equipment one last time, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief when Madie stepped away. The admiration was flattering, but Caitlyn’s mind was elsewhere—focused on her responsibilities and, inevitably, on Vi.

The weird tension between Caitlyn and Madie was interrupted by a firm knock on the open door. Both women turned to see Vi leaning casually against the doorway, her presence filling the space, the crisp white shirt she wore stretched perfectly across her frame. Her tattoos peeked out from the sleeves, trailing down her forearms, a quiet statement of confidence and edge.

Vi’s gaze flicked briefly to Caitlyn before settling on Madie with a look that was unreadable but carried an unmistakable undercurrent. She straightened and stepped into the room, her boots tapping lightly against the tile floor.

Caitlyn smiled, though there was a touch of surprise in her expression. “Vi,” she said warmly, “what are you doing here?”

“I figured I’d find you here,” Vi replied, her tone calm but direct as her sharp eyes lingered on Madie for a second longer than necessary. Then, her attention shifted fully to Caitlyn. “Your dad called. Said you’ve been running yourself ragged and needed to take a break.”

Caitlyn laughed softly, the sound light and genuine—something Vi hadn’t heard in too long. Her heart clenched at the sound, a subtle smile tugging at her lips as she leaned against the side of Caitlyn’s desk.

“That sounds like him,” Caitlyn said, shaking her head. “He always worries too much.”

“Well, he’s got a point,” Vi countered, her tone teasing but firm. “And I told him I’d make sure you didn’t sneak back into the office after this.”

Madie, who had been standing quietly to the side, glanced between the two. Her expression faltered slightly as Vi stepped closer to Caitlyn, slipping an arm around her waist with an easy confidence that left no room for misinterpretation. Caitlyn glanced at Vi, her brow raising slightly, but she didn’t pull away.

“Madie,” Caitlyn said, her tone warm but professional, “this is Vi. She’s—”

Vi cut in smoothly, her grin tilting ever so slightly toward smug. “Her girlfriend.”

Madie’s polite smile tightened just a fraction, her hands clasping in front of her. “It’s nice to meet you, Vi.”

“Likewise,” Vi replied, though her tone lacked the warmth it usually carried. Her hand rested lightly on Caitlyn’s waist, her presence a quiet but undeniable statement.

“Well,” Madie began, stepping back slightly, “I should check on the afternoon schedule. Let me know if you need anything, Dr. Kiramman.”

“Thank you, Madie,” Caitlyn said, offering a polite nod.

As Madie exited the room, Caitlyn turned toward Vi, her lips twitching in amusement. “Subtle,” she remarked, her tone dry but affectionate.

Vi shrugged, the corner of her mouth lifting in a lopsided grin. “What can I say? I’m a fan of clarity.”

Caitlyn shook her head, her laughter bubbling up again, and Vi’s smile softened at the sound. It had been far too long since she’d heard Caitlyn laugh like that—unburdened, light, like the Caitlyn she remembered from before.

Vi reached out, brushing a stray strand of hair from Caitlyn’s face. “I missed that,” she said softly.

Caitlyn’s expression softened, and she reached for Vi’s hand, giving it a light squeeze. “Thank you for coming. You didn’t have to.”

“I did,” Vi replied firmly. “And now I’m taking you out to lunch. No reports, no emails, no distractions. Just us. No ifs, no buts.”

Caitlyn opened her mouth to protest but caught the look in Vi’s eyes—the quiet determination, the care beneath the teasing grin. She sighed, relenting. “Fine. But I’m choosing the place.”

Vi smirked, stepping back and gesturing toward the door. “Deal. Lead the way, cupcake.”

Together, they exited the clinic, Caitlyn’s hand lightly brushing against Vi’s as they walked. For the first time in weeks, Caitlyn felt the weight on her shoulders lighten, just a little, as they stepped into the bustling streets of Piltover, the promise of a stolen moment of peace between them.

The diner was warm and welcoming, its familiar hum wrapping Caitlyn and Vi in a bubble of nostalgia. The scents of sizzling grease and freshly brewed coffee filled the air, and the booths, with their slightly worn red vinyl seats, still held the faint creak Caitlyn remembered. Vi slid easily into the seat across from her, her arms resting loosely on the table, tattoos peeking out from beneath her rolled-up sleeves.

“You could’ve picked anywhere, y’know,” Vi teased, a smirk tugging at her lips as she leaned back slightly. “Fancy rooftop spots, swanky lounges, or even that bougie café Mel loves. But no. You dragged me here. Again.”

Caitlyn chuckled softly, the sound light but genuine, as she set the menu down. “It’s the diner or nothing, Vi. You’re the one who always said it’s the best place in the city for pancakes.”

Vi’s smirk deepened, her blue eyes glinting with mock offense. “Pancakes? Try the fries. You’ve clearly been away from this place too long, cupcake.”

The nickname earned a soft laugh from Caitlyn, who shook her head in amusement. She reached for Vi’s hand across the table, her fingers brushing against Vi’s lightly before entwining them. Her smile softened, and she lowered her voice, her words carrying a quiet weight.

“I wanted to come back here because… we used to come here all the time,” Caitlyn admitted, her gaze flickering to the window briefly before returning to Vi. “Before everything happened with my mom, and life got so… overwhelming.” She hesitated, brushing her thumb across the back of Vi’s hand, the gesture deliberate and tender. “I miss those days, Vi. And I want to hold on to whatever we can, for as long as we can.”

Vi’s teasing demeanor melted as Caitlyn’s words settled between them. Her features softened, her usual sharp grin replaced by something quieter, more vulnerable. “Cait…” she began, her voice low and steady, but Caitlyn cut her off.

“I mean it,” Caitlyn said earnestly, her thumb still brushing gentle circles on Vi’s hand. “You’ve been so patient, so understanding. You’ve been here for me through everything, even when I’ve been… a lot to handle.” She smiled faintly, almost self-deprecatingly. “I don’t say it enough, but I’m so grateful for you, Vi. For everything.”

Vi stared at her for a moment, her throat tightening. Then she squeezed Caitlyn’s hand lightly, her smirk returning, though it was tempered with sincerity. “Well, you’ve got good taste in girlfriends, cupcake. What can I say?” Her grin widened as Caitlyn rolled her eyes, a quiet laugh escaping her.

“Seriously though,” Vi added, her voice softening as her thumb brushed against Caitlyn’s hand in return. “You don’t have to thank me, Cait. You’re my person. Always have been, always will be. Even when you’re a pain in my ass.”

Caitlyn laughed, the sound lighting up her face. “You really can’t help yourself, can you?”

“Not a chance,” Vi replied with a grin.

Their food arrived, and they fell into an easy rhythm, sharing bites and quiet conversation as the diner buzzed around them. It felt like old times, and for a moment, the weight of their responsibilities seemed to lift.

After lunch, Vi led Caitlyn toward her bar, which was in the midst of a significant renovation. The sound of construction echoed faintly from inside as they approached, and Caitlyn could see scaffolding stretching up toward a second floor. The front door bore a temporary sign: “Pardon the dust, we’re growing!”

Vi pushed the door open, holding it for Caitlyn with an exaggerated bow. “Welcome to the new and improved Rusty Gauntlet—soon to be even rustier and gauntlet-ier.”

Caitlyn laughed softly, stepping inside. The bar was a mix of its usual charm and signs of progress. The main floor was still operational, but new beams and scaffolding hinted at big changes.

“So,” Vi said, slipping her arm around Caitlyn’s shoulders as they walked through the space. “We’re adding a second floor—extra seating, private event space for bands, and a dedicated space for open-mic nights. Gotta keep the music scene alive, right?”

Caitlyn’s smile widened as she glanced around the space. “That’s ambitious. It suits you.”

“Oh, but wait,” Vi added, grinning as she gestured toward a corner of the main floor where construction was in progress. “That’s your part. We’re setting up a little side café during the day—quiet spot, good coffee, the works. Figured it could balance out the chaos, and maybe even give you a spot to hang out when you’re not saving the world.”

Caitlyn blinked, her heart swelling at the thought. “You’d really do that?”

“For you? Always,” Vi replied easily, her grin softening.

Caitlyn leaned up, pressing a quick kiss to Vi’s cheek before stepping back, her eyes warm. “I love it. I love you.”

Vi blinked, momentarily caught off guard by Caitlyn’s words. The way Caitlyn said it—so soft, so certain—made Vi’s chest tighten, her usual bravado faltering for a split second before her smirk returned and she pulled Caitlyn closer. “Yeah, yeah. You’re lucky I’m such a softie for you.”

Caitlyn laughed, the sound blending with the hum of the bar as they stood together, surrounded by the echoes of a space being rebuilt—just like them.

The drive back to Caitlyn’s home was quiet but companionable, the hum of the car and the soft glow of the streetlights wrapping them in a peaceful cocoon. By the time they arrived, both of them were visibly tired but carried an unmistakable contentment from the day they’d shared.

Caitlyn unlocked the door and stepped inside, flipping on the lights. Vi followed, pausing at the threshold to take in the cozy, understated space. The home wasn’t as large or wasn't as grand or overly decorated like the Kiramman mansion. Vi’s eyes flicked to the photos on the walls, the bookshelves lined with well-worn volumes, and the soft furniture that begged to be sunk into.

“So,” Vi began, her voice casual but curious, “what’s the plan for this place now that you’ve got the mansion back? You thinking of selling?”

Caitlyn turned to face her, setting her keys on the counter. “Sell it?” she repeated, raising an eyebrow. “Absolutely not. I love it here. This is my very first space, Vi. It’s the one place that feels truly mine...ours.”

Vi nodded, her lips quirking into a small smile. “Fair enough. It’s got a good vibe. Kinda… grounded. Like you.”

Caitlyn chuckled as she unpacked the takeout they’d brought home. “Grounded, huh? I’ll take that as a compliment.”

“It is,” Vi replied, dropping onto the couch with a satisfied sigh.

The two of them ate dinner at the small dining table, the air filled with easy conversation and occasional bursts of laughter. Caitlyn teased Vi about her constant need for extra sauce packets, while Vi made exaggerated claims about being a “sauce connoisseur,” earning an amused shake of Caitlyn’s head.

After the meal, Caitlyn stood and began gathering the leftovers. “Alright, go on,” she said, gesturing toward the bathroom. “Go clean up before you get too comfortable and fall asleep on the couch.”

Vi raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a smirk. “What, no post-dinner massage for your hardworking girlfriend?”

Caitlyn rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress a small laugh. “Shower. Now.”

“Fine, fine,” Vi relented, standing and stretching with exaggerated effort before heading toward the bathroom. “But don’t think this means you’re off the hook for that massage.”

Caitlyn shook her head fondly as she finished tidying up, her movements methodical but relaxed. By the time Vi emerged from the bathroom, her pink hair damp and her T-shirt slightly rumpled, Caitlyn had already set the leftovers in the fridge.

“Your turn,” Vi said, nodding toward the bathroom.

Caitlyn smiled, grabbing a towel. “Don’t get too comfortable out there,” she warned playfully before disappearing down the hall.

Vi sank into the couch, flipping through channels with the remote as the low hum of the TV filled the room. She wasn’t paying much attention, her thoughts drifting back to the day’s events and the quiet joy of seeing Caitlyn laugh so freely again.

When Caitlyn returned, she was dressed in her usual loose shirt and shorts, her damp hair falling over her shoulders. She moved to the fridge, pulling out a glass of water and sipping it slowly as she leaned against the counter.

Vi glanced at her from the couch, her eyes lingering for a moment before she flicked the remote aimlessly. “So,” she began, her tone casual but carrying a hint of mischief, “I saw what Madie was up to this morning.”

Caitlyn raised an eyebrow, her lips quirking into a curious smile. “Oh? And what exactly did you see?”

Vi’s smirk deepened as she leaned back, draping one arm along the back of the couch. “Let’s just say your girl Madie is more than a little smitten with you. Could practically see hearts in her eyes.”

Caitlyn chuckled, setting her glass down with a soft clink on the counter and walking toward Vi, her movements slow. Her teasing smile played at the corners of her lips as she stopped just in front of the couch, tilting her head slightly. “Are you jealous?” she asked, her voice light but carrying a playful edge.

Vi raised an eyebrow, leaning back further into the couch with an exaggerated nonchalance. “Me? Jealous?” she scoffed, though the faint grin tugging at her lips betrayed her. “Please. I’m way out of her league.” She let her words hang in the air for a moment before adding with a smirk, “Besides, you’re too smart to fall for someone who thinks a CT scanner is romantic.”

Caitlyn laughed softly, her eyes glinting with amusement as she crossed her arms. “You’ve got a point there,” she replied, her voice warm and amused, though there was a spark of something playful in her gaze.

Vi opened her mouth, ready to fire back with another witty remark, but the words caught in her throat. Instead, she blurted, “Wait—do I need to be jealous or something? Is there something I should kn—”

Without a word, Caitlyn stepped closer, her knees brushing Vi’s thighs before she slid into her lap, straddling her legs that left Vi momentarily stunned.

Caitlyn settled herself comfortably, her weight warm against Vi, and looped her arms around Vi’s neck. The smirk that had been on Vi’s face faltered, replaced by something softer, as Caitlyn leaned in. Vi caught her breath as her hands instinctively finding their place on Caitlyn’s waist, her fingers spreading out as if to steady herself against the sudden intimacy.

“Cait…” Vi murmured, her voice unusually soft, her blue eyes wide as they searched Caitlyn’s face. She could feel the heat radiating from Caitlyn, the steady rhythm of her breathing, and it sent a shiver down her spine.

Caitlyn’s expression softened, her usual sharp wit giving way to something both playful and undeniably bold. She leaned in closer, her lips hovering just shy of Vi’s, her breath brushing against her skin. Her voice dropped to a low, teasing whisper. “You shouldn't be jealous… because I don’t let just anyone sit under me like this.”

The words sent a jolt through Vi, her smirk turned into something between amusement and awe. Before she could respond, Caitlyn closed the distance, her lips capturing Vi’s in a kiss that was slow, a quiet confidence making the moment electrifying. Vi froze for a heartbeat, her mind catching up to the fire in Caitlyn’s kiss, before she melted into it, her grip on Caitlyn’s waist tightening to pull her even closer.

The kiss deepened, Caitlyn’s fingers threading gently through Vi’s hair as her thumbs brushed against the nape of her neck. Vi responded in kind, her hands sliding up to Caitlyn’s back, holding her firmly. The quiet hum of the television faded into the background as the rest of the world disappeared.

When they finally broke apart, their foreheads rested against each other, their breaths mingling in the quiet space between them. Vi opened her eyes slowly, her gaze soft and laced with affection as she took in Caitlyn’s flushed cheeks and slightly mussed hair.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this,” Vi said, her voice a mix of sincerity and her usual teasing tone. “You coming out with lines like that. You’re gonna give me a heart attack one day, Cupcake.”

Caitlyn chuckled softly, brushing her thumb against Vi’s cheek. “I thought you liked challenges.”

Vi grinned, her hands sliding back to Caitlyn’s waist, holding her firmly. “Oh, I do. But you keep raising the bar.”

Caitlyn’s warm breath tickled Vi’s skin as she whispered into her ear, her teasing tone laced with undeniable affection. “Good. It keeps things interesting.”

The words sent a jolt through Vi, igniting a desire she hadn’t let herself feel in months—a need for intimacy, for Caitlyn, that they’d both kept at bay since her mother’s death. Without hesitation, she pulled Caitlyn closer, capturing her lips in a kiss. The energy between them shifted, becoming bolder, hungrier, as Vi’s hand slid up to cradle the back of Caitlyn’s head. Her fingers threaded into Caitlyn’s damp hair, tilting her face to deepen the kiss.

Caitlyn responded eagerly, her lips parting as their tongues met. A quiet moan escaped Vi, as she kissed Caitlyn harder, her other hand pressing against Caitlyn’s waist. She instinctively rolled her hips upward, drawing a soft gasp from Caitlyn, who clung tightly to Vi’s shoulders, her fingers digging into Vi’s shirt.

Their breaths mingled, heavy and uneven, as they kissed that seemed to erase the months of longing and missed moments. Vi shifted beneath Caitlyn, her movements intentional as she sought to bring them even closer. Caitlyn’s hands slid from Vi’s shoulders to her neck, her thumbs brushing over the edges of Vi’s jaw as if memorizing every line and curve.

When they broke apart briefly to catch their breath, Caitlyn’s lips hovered just over Vi’s. Vi’s lips trailed away from Caitlyn’s mouth, exploring the curve of her jawline and the sensitive spot just beneath her ear. Caitlyn shivered at the touch, her head tilting slightly to give Vi more access. Vi’s voice was rough and low when she finally whispered, “Fuck, Cait… it’s been so long.”

Caitlyn let out a soft, shaky laugh, her fingers tracing the short hair at the nape of Vi’s neck. “Too long,” she murmured in agreement, her lips brushing against Vi’s temple before she kissed her again. This time, Caitlyn was the one to deepen the kiss, her confidence growing as her tongue met Vi’s with equal fervor.

Vi’s hands, which had been resting at Caitlyn’s waist, slipped under her shirt. Her palms slid over the smooth skin of Caitlyn’s sides, moving in gentle yet firm strokes that left Caitlyn’s body tingling in their wake. Vi took her time, savoring the feel of Caitlyn beneath her hands as if rediscovering something she never wanted to forget.

Caitlyn gasped softly when Vi’s hands shifted higher, brushing over her stomach before hesitating just below her chest. Her breaths came quicker, anticipation coursing through her as she leaned into Vi’s touch. Vi, encouraged by Caitlyn’s reaction, let her fingers explore further, her touch firm yet reverent as she cupped Caitlyn’s breasts.

Caitlyn’s lips parted, a quiet sigh escaping her as she whispered Vi’s name, her voice laced with both affection and need. Her fingers tightened in Vi’s shoulder as she kissed her again, pouring every ounce of feeling into the moment. Vi’s thumbs brushed over Caitlyn’s nipple, eliciting a soft moan that sent shivers through both of them.

Vi’s hands continued to explore Caitlyn’s body, her touch confident yet careful, as if she couldn’t quite believe this was real. Caitlyn pressed closer, her own hands roaming across Vi’s shoulders and chest, grounding them both in the heat and intensity of the moment.

As their lips parted again, both of them gasping for air, Vi’s forehead rested against Caitlyn’s. Her voice was low and breathless when she whispered, “You don’t know how much I’ve missed this, Cait… missed you.”

Vi hesitated for a moment, her blue eyes searching Caitlyn’s face. Her fingers brushed softly against Caitlyn’s waist as she asked, her voice tinged with vulnerability, “Can I have you, Cait? Tonight… now?”

Caitlyn caught her breath at the question, her heart pounding in her chest. She didn’t need to think about her answer. Her hand cupped Vi’s cheek, her thumb gently stroking the edge of her jaw. “You already do,” she murmured, leaning in to kiss her again, the words carrying every ounce of her affection and desire.

Without hesitation, Vi’s hands slid up Caitlyn’s sides, slipping beneath her loose shirt. With one fluid motion, she pulled the fabric over Caitlyn’s head and discarded it carelessly onto the floor. Her gaze lingered on Caitlyn’s bare skin, her breath catching at the sight of her.

“Damn, Cait,” Vi murmured, her voice husky with desire, before leaning in and latching onto Caitlyn’s right breast. Her mouth moved fast, suckling and licking with a hunger that sent jolts of pleasure through Caitlyn’s body. Vi’s hand came up to tease Caitlyn’s other breast, her fingers rolling and pinching gently, matching the rhythm of her mouth.

Caitlyn let out a soft moan, her head tipping back as waves of heat coursed through her. Her hips instinctively began moving against Vi’s lap, grinding herself against the warmth and firmness beneath her. The friction only heightened her need, drawing more gasps and soft whimpers from her lips.

Vi paused just long enough to glance up at Caitlyn, her lips curving into a wicked smile as she saw the flush spreading across Caitlyn’s cheeks. “Don’t stop,” Vi rasped, her voice thick with need, before returning her mouth to Caitlyn’s nipple, flicking her tongue against the sensitive peak.

The combination of Vi’s mouth and hands left Caitlyn breathless, her movements against Vi’s lap becoming faster, her hips pressing down harder with every roll. The low moan that rumbled from Vi sent a shiver through Caitlyn, spurring her on.

Vi’s hand trailed down Caitlyn’s back, gripping her waist to pull her even closer as her tongue and lips worked on Caitlyn’s breast. Each flick, suck, and kiss seemed to stoke the fire between them, their breaths mingling in the heated air around them.

Caitlyn’s breaths were heavy as she pulled back slightly, her hands resting on Vi’s shoulders. She gave Vi a soft smile and gently pushed her back. Vi leaned away, confusion flickering in her eyes until Caitlyn’s hands tugged at the hem of Vi’s shirt. With a single motion, Caitlyn lifted it off, revealing the tattoos that adorned Vi’s neck, collarbone, and toned arms.

Caitlyn’s fingers moved almost reverently, tracing the inked lines on Vi’s neck, following them to her collarbone and further down to her chest. Her touch was soft, her fingertips grazing Vi’s skin until they reached her breasts. Vi’s breath hitched at the contact, her body tensing momentarily before she grabbed Caitlyn’s wrists gently but firmly.

“You’re making it hard to focus, Cupcake,” Vi murmured, her voice thick with a mixture of affection and desire. Before Caitlyn could respond, Vi flipped them, pinning Caitlyn beneath her on the couch.

Caitlyn gasped, her back arching slightly as Vi’s hands moved to her waist. Without hesitation, Vi hooked her fingers into the waistband of Caitlyn’s shorts and panties, pulling them off in one swift motion. The clothing fell to the floor, leaving Caitlyn bare before her.

Vi stilled for a moment, her gaze trailing over Caitlyn’s body, taking in every curve, every line, as if memorizing her all over again. Her hand moved instinctively, starting at Caitlyn’s chest. She brushed her palm over her breasts, teasing the sensitive skin before trailing her touch down her stomach. Caitlyn shivered under the sensation, her breathing quickening as Vi’s hand moved lower, skimming the soft skin of her inner thighs before pressing lightly against the front of her center.

“Fuck,” Vi whispered, the word slipping out unbidden as her thumb brushed over Caitlyn’s slick warmth. She glanced up at Caitlyn, her eyes dark with need, before she leaned in to kiss her again, their lips meeting with hunger and tenderness.

Breaking the kiss just long enough to catch her breath, Vi quickly removed her pajama bottoms and tossed them aside. She knelt over Caitlyn, pushing her right knee gently to the side, exposing her completely.

“You’re perfect,” Vi murmured, her voice low and rough as she traced her fingers along Caitlyn’s inner thigh, inching closer to her center. Her other hand moved to steady Caitlyn’s leg as she leaned down, her breath hot against Caitlyn’s skin.

Vi’s eyes were fixed on Caitlyn, her breath catching as her fingers slid against Cait’s slick warmth. A curse slipped past her lips, almost inaudible, as she watched the way Caitlyn’s body responded to her touch. Her fingers moved slowly, circling Caitlyn’s clit with a careful precision, and she couldn’t help but murmur, “Fuck, Cait… you’re amazing.”

Caitlyn gasped, her hips lifting instinctively toward Vi’s hand, seeking more of the delicious friction. Her lips parted, and her voice came out in soft, breathless moans, her hands clutching at the couch beneath her. “Vi…” she breathed, her tone shaky yet filled with need.

Vi’s gaze never left Caitlyn’s face, watching every flicker of pleasure that crossed her features. She leaned in closer, her voice low and hoarse as she whispered, “Not yet, Cupcake.”

Caitlyn whimpered at the restraint, her head tipping back against the couch as Vi’s fingers continued their slow, deliberate circles on her clit. The teasing touch left her aching for more, her body trembling beneath Vi’s hand.

Unable to resist any longer, Vi shifted down, her lips brushing against Caitlyn’s inner thigh before her mouth hovered over her center. She let her breath fan over Caitlyn’s slick warmth, savoring the way Caitlyn’s body shivered in anticipation. Then, slowly, Vi let her tongue glide over Caitlyn’s folds, tasting her for the first time in what felt like forever.

Caitlyn gasped loudly, her hands instinctively finding their way to Vi’s hair. Her fingers tangled in the short strands as she let out a soft, needy moan. “Vi…”

Vi smiled against Caitlyn, her tongue brushing gently along the entire length of her slick warmth. She started slowly, her strokes light and teasing, but it wasn’t long before her movements grew more confident, more hungry. Her lips and tongue worked together, licking a bit harder, savoring every sound Caitlyn made above her.

Caitlyn’s breathing became uneven, her chest rising and falling rapidly as her hips began moving in time with Vi’s strokes. She couldn’t stop herself from grinding lightly against Vi’s mouth, her body desperate for the building pressure to be released.

Vi hummed softly, the vibrations against Caitlyn’s center making her shiver. Vi flattened her tongue, making it wider as she stroked Caitlyn’s wet folds, dragging her tongue slowly up and down with a firm pressure. Caitlyn’s breaths hitched, her panting growing louder as the tension inside her grew.

Vi shifted her focus, her tongue flicking and circling Caitlyn’s clit with a skill that made Caitlyn’s back arch off the couch. She alternated between gentle flicks and firmer strokes, her movements intentional and steady. Caitlyn’s voice broke into a loud moan, her fingers tightening in Vi’s hair as she called her name. “Vi… oh god, Vi…”

Vi didn’t let up, her tongue continuing its dance, building Caitlyn higher and higher. She could feel Caitlyn trembling beneath her, her thighs quivering as she neared the edge. Caitlyn’s moans grew louder, her hips bucking slightly against Vi’s mouth.

“Vi…” Caitlyn gasped, her voice thick with need, her body tensing as if she was right on the verge of release.

But Vi slowed her pace, her tongue brushing Caitlyn’s clit gently again, teasing her instead of letting her fall over the edge. She pulled back slightly, her lips brushing softly against Caitlyn’s inner thigh as she murmured, “Not yet, Cupcake. I’m not done with you.”

Caitlyn let out a frustrated whimper, her head rolling to the side as she tried to steady her breathing. Her body was on fire, every nerve alight with need as she looked down at Vi, her eyes dark with desire.

Vi’s tongue moved slowly over Caitlyn’s slit, savoring every shiver and gasp she drew from her. She let her middle finger trail gently along Caitlyn’s entrance before pressing inside, inch by inch. Caitlyn’s body tensed at the penetration, her head falling back against the couch as she gasped, “Fuck, Vi…”

Vi groaned softly at the sound, her voice low and rough as she whispered, “Is it good, baby?” Her finger moved slowly, retreating and pushing back in with a slow rhythm as her tongue returned to circle Caitlyn’s clit gently.

“Yes…” Caitlyn breathed, her voice shaky and full of need. Her hands gripped Vi’s hair, trying to anchor herself as her hips moved instinctively with Vi’s motions. “I can’t anym—”

“Hold on a bit longer,” Vi murmured hoarsely against her, her voice thick with restraint. She continued to circle Caitlyn’s clit, her tongue applying just enough pressure to keep Caitlyn on edge while her finger moved inside her, coaxing more gasps and moans from Caitlyn’s lips.

As Caitlyn’s body writhed beneath her, Vi carefully slid a second finger inside, her movements slow and gentle. The stretch made Caitlyn moan Vi’s name, her voice rising as the pleasure coursed through her. Vi couldn’t help the quiet curse that slipped from her lips as she watched Caitlyn’s body react to her.

Vi’s tongue quickened its pace, circling Caitlyn’s clit faster and with more pressure. Her fingers moved in a steady rhythm, matching the intensity of her tongue as she drove Caitlyn closer and closer to the edge. Caitlyn’s breathing turned ragged, her moans growing louder as her body tensed, the buildup reaching a fever pitch.

“Vi… I—” Caitlyn gasped, her voice breaking as she bucked against Vi’s hand and mouth.

Just as Caitlyn’s body began to tremble with the onset of release, Vi pulled back. She kissed Caitlyn’s lips quickly but deeply, swallowing Caitlyn’s desperate whimper. She didn’t stop the movement of her fingers, though; instead, she pushed harder and faster, her fingers curling slightly to stroke Caitlyn from within.

“It’s alright, baby,” Vi murmured against Caitlyn’s lips, her voice soft yet commanding. “Let go. I want to see you.”

Caitlyn’s eyes fluttered open, meeting Vi’s intense gaze for a brief moment before her body arched. Her hands clutched Vi’s shoulders, and a broken cry of pleasure spilled from her lips as she came. Vi didn’t stop, her fingers driving Caitlyn through her climax as she watched every expression of ecstasy cross Caitlyn’s face.

“Fuck…” Vi cursed under her breath, her own voice shaky as she took in the sight of Caitlyn completely undone beneath her. She leaned down to press soft kisses along Caitlyn’s neck, her movements slowing as Caitlyn’s body relaxed and her breathing began to steady.

Caitlyn’s chest heaved as she tried to catch her breath, her body still trembling in the aftermath. Vi’s fingers slowed their movements but didn’t leave her, keeping her grounded in the sensations still humming through her body. She leaned down, brushing her lips against Caitlyn’s cheek, then her jawline, leaving a trail of soft kisses that made Caitlyn shiver all over again.

“You’re incredible, Cait,” Vi murmured, her voice thick with affection and lingering desire. Her fingers still moved lightly inside Caitlyn, teasing, as if she wasn’t ready to let go just yet. Caitlyn’s hands slid from Vi’s shoulders to her back, pulling her closer, their bodies pressing together as Caitlyn sighed contentedly.

Caitlyn turned her head, capturing Vi’s lips in a languid kiss, her fingers tracing the lines of Vi’s tattoos. “You’re not done with me yet, are you?” she whispered against Vi’s lips, a small smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth despite the flush still lingering on her cheeks.

Vi chuckled softly, the sound low and warm. “Not even close, Cupcake,” she replied, her grin laced with promise as her thumb brushed lightly over Caitlyn’s hip. Her other hand stayed in place, still teasing, still eliciting soft whimpers from Caitlyn with each subtle motion.

The air between them was charged, their bodies still close, still hungry for more. Vi’s lips hovered just over Caitlyn’s, their breaths mingling as her gaze met Caitlyn’s, intense and full of unspoken desire.

“Guess you’ll just have to be patient,” Vi teased, her voice playful yet full of heat.

Caitlyn’s fingers dug lightly into Vi’s back, her body arching slightly in response. “I don’t think I can,” she murmured, her voice low and breathless, sending a thrill through Vi.

Vi leaned down, her lips brushing Caitlyn’s ear as she whispered, “Good.”

The tension hung between them like a promise, their shared need far from sated as the night stretched on.
