Oto
Naruto, "We are here."
Sasuke, "What a dreary place, Naomi nee - chan must be furious. She hates cold places."
Kakashi, "Hmmm, if she is conscious."
Lee, "You think they are keeping her unconscious, Captain?"
Kakashi, "Naomi - tan grew up with Koko - tan. She adopted some of her analyzing and strategizing styles. I would not be surprised if Kabuto kept her unconscious."
Naruto's face darkened, "We will get her out. Oh and Kabuto - sempai is mine. I have a few questions for him."
Kakashi eyed him then, "Neji, get to high ground. I need eyes to watch over everything, Shino you are with Neji keep an eye out. Temari you are with Naruto, Gaara with Lee. Naruto and Temari will head in first and Gaara and Lee will back up. Sasuke you are their medical back up and finally Shikamaru and Kankuro you are with me. We will be sneaking around while they keep the eyes of the enemy on them."
Sasuke, "Wait, before you go."
Naruto pulled one of his teeth out, "Take this with you."
Kankuro, "What is sanity's name was that for?"
Kakashi, "This is pretty macabre, my sweet little student."
Shikamaru, "What is on your teeth?"
Naruto smirked, "Don't worry Sensei look, my teeth are fine."
Kyuubi grumbled, "You are lucky you are my favourite."
Naruto, "These are seals that we created for ourselves a long time ago."
Neji looked amused, "We had to wait till our baby teeth fell out though. Lee was very impatient."
Lee pouted, "Can you blame me it was and still is a cool idea."
Naruto, "Sensei, this will help you find Naomi. It was tricky but nee - chan and I found a way to find each other in case, something goes wrong during missions."
Kakashi took the first premolar, "I am surprised I did not get one."
Naruto rubbed his nape sheepishly, "To be completely honest, we forgot we even had that."
Sasuke, "Yeah, we got it back during the Academy days. After all those kidnapping attempts came to light."
Kakashi nodded, "I understand. Okay then Shinobi of leaf and sand. Keep your radios on you at all times. Do not lose them, they cost a fortune."
Gaara, "Right!"
Neji, "They are coming."
Kakashi, "Shikamaru, Kankuro, with me. Make sure to keep up."
The Suna and Konoha shinobi were soon battling with the Oto nin who were using specialized weapons to battle them. Naruto narrowed his eyes as he created a shadow clone for Kyuubi to use and join the fight while he used his seals. Sasuke muttered recognizing some of the nins from the bingo book with decent bounties on their heads. Gaara and Lee went ahead of them to deal with the ones who would be back up for the team battling Naruto and Temari. On the other side Shikamaru took out a seal Kyoko had given him a few days before the Chunin exams. She had wanted him to test it out during the exam and it had worked a little too well.
Shikamaru remembered the look of contemplation on his father and had told him point blank to drop any ideas concerning Naiko - san. Shikaku had blinked at him and said Naiko would have been a great addition to the Nara clan but Shikamaru had said a hard no to it. He could already see the headaches he would have to deal with if Kyoko were to join them, he would rather deal with the Suna Kunoichi who at least had common sense compared to Kyoko. He should not have said anything though because his mother had overheard him and was now interested in Temari. He had apologized to her, of course but Temari looked more amused by it all than anything else.
Shikamaru, "Kakashi how far is Naomi?"
Kakashi, "It is getting warmer and warmer. Naruto mentioned that it would become colder if we went away from the target. Wait! It got colder, back up! Here, we found her."
Kankuro, "That is useful, not perfect but useful."
Shikamaru, "Stand around me."
Kakashi, "Is that?"
Shikamaru, "One of Naiko's seals, yes it is."
Kankuro, "It will get us to her?"
Shikamaru, "Yup now hold your breath."
The shadows started to move around the seal and Kakashi looked around as they were covered by shadows plus what looked like shadowy seals. He had to give his student credit where it was due, she had out done herself once again. Kankuro was fascinated by the seal but decided to question Nara later for now, Uchiha - chan was in front of them and she looked really bad. Kakashi had a dark expression when he noticed the seals and grabbed Naiko nodding at Shikamaru who used the seal again. The three of them rushed towards where the others were with Shikamaru talking on the radio telling others to return.
Naruto, "We are done."
Tayuya, "Are you already leaving?"
Sasuke, "We already got what we wanted."
Zaku, "The Uchiha."
Neji, "Let's go!"
Lee, "Yeah!"
Gaara, "Sand storm bomb."
Gaara then threw a jutsu towards the enemy Oto nin, at the same time Naruto sent a seal with dark smoke filled in it. The dark smoke covered everything and they rushed away from the area to meet up with Kakashi and the other two. But it was never that simple, Orochimaru appeared in front of them as they rushed to the border. Kakashi handed Naiko who was still completely out of it to Sasuke and got ready to fight Orochimaru himself. Now that his chakra was no longer being siphoned off by his sharingan he could say he was confident in dealing with one of the Sannin. Naruto and Gaara decided to give Kakashi support but he advised them to leave, as they were targets too.
Naruto, "But... "
Shikamaru, "Naruto, Gaara, go with Sasuke. Keep Naiko safe. Kankuro and I will stay back to deal with the Sannin."
Kankuro, "Keep Gaara safe sis."
Temari gritted her teeth, "Fine but you better be following us, got it?"
Lee, "Yosh! Do not worry, the Flames of Youth burns very high. I will be providing help as well."
Sasuke nodded, "Let's go!"
Naruto, "Right!"
Neji, Shino, Temari and Gaara followed Sasuke and Naruto who started to move towards the sand village which was closer. They needed a place where Naruto could safely start removing the ridiculous amounts of seals Orochimaru had placed on Naomi. Sasuke had a feeling Naomi had somehow managed to piss off Orochimaru which had forced the snake Sannin to go overboard with the seals. Naruto gave him a, 'You doubt that?', look to which Sasuke snorted and focused on leaving the border. But waiting for them at the border was a very old and familiar face, Yakushi Kabuto.
Naruto, "I wondered where he was."
Kabuto, "Naruto - kun, Sasuke - kun, I see you found your friend."
Sasuke, "What do you want, traitor?"
Kabuto, "So harsh, my little Kouhai."
Temari stood in front of the two, "You of all people have no right to call them your Kouhai, not after what you did."
Kabuto, "Come on now! It is not that bad. I was not going to hurt Kyoko - chan, just burrow her for a while. I would have returned her after Orochimaru got what he wanted."
Shino's bugs buzzed annoyed at the traitor, "You tried to kidnap her, that is just as horrid. Do not attempt to tell us otherwise. She is a very dear friend and person to us and many others."
Kabuto, "Well, I do not expect you to believe me. So let's get this over with, Jūgo?"
Jūgo, "I was hoping to see the cute Kunoichi. Guess I won't this time."
Temari, "Sasuke, Shino, Gaara listen, Naruto and I will deal with these two. Get her out of here."
Gaara, "Nee - chan, are you sure?"
Temari, "I promised Koko - tan, I will get you all back safe and sound. It was a Kunoichi to Kunoichi promise. I plan to keep it."
Gaara nodded reluctantly, "Fine. You two better be careful."
Naruto rushed to Kabuto, "Go!"
Temari attacked Jūgo, "We will be right behind you."
Kabuto used his scalpel to stop the kunai, "So much anger for one girl Naruto - kun. Are you sure you are not in love with her instead?"
Naruto, "Did you just ask a gay person if they are attracted to a girl?"
Jūgo, "That was stupid."
Temari nodded, "Understatement, now fight!"
Kabuto hummed, "But you get so furious whenever someone insults her sometimes I wonder."
Naruto, "My nee - chan was my first family. After meeting her I was adopted by my Jiji, I made many trustworthy friends who would go to hell with me. Most important of all, I learned about my clan and my parents. So do not insult my nee - chan. She will burn the world down to keep me safe and happy..... What's with that expression?"
Kabuto, "So you know she is crazy and you are the only person who can calm her down?"
Naruto jumped away from him then huffed, "You do not know anything about her after all. So shut up, do not insult her. Just know that she is not the only person who will go scorched Earth on those who hurt our loved ones."
Kabuto, "Well I can admit you know her better than anyone else. Perhaps I should have observed her more. I made a mistake making my move so early after all."
Naruto, "You are not going anywhere near her ever again."
Temari dropped beside him, "Team up jutsu?"
Naruto, "My multi rasengan with your twister."
Temari, "Sounds powerful baby brother."
Naruto paused, 'Baby brother? Never mind.'
Naruto's clones which he had spread out in the beginning appeared and started to create multiple rasengan while Naruto threw seals at Jūgo and Kabuto. At Naruto's signal Temari created a large twister and Naruto's clones popped because all their chakras were sent to the rasengan which were combined with the twister. Naruto gave a whistle seeing the end result which made Kabuto and Jūgo back off giving the two of them the chance to leave. Naruto was still angry but Temari noticed he had calmed down after the fight with Kabuto and from what she had understood they would be alright.
Gaara was waiting for them, "You guys were the last. The others are already here."
Kakashi was limping but he looked alright, "I will need a full report later for now, Sasuke is waiting with Naomi."
Naruto, "Is Naomi - chan awake?"
Kakashi, "Afraid not! She has a coma seal on her that's keeping her under."
Naruto frowned nodding and rushed into the emergency room going through the sanitation as fast as he could. The nurses had stripped Naomi down and put her in hospital gowns only exposing the areas that had seals on it. Naruto nodded at Sasuke who was using his Sharingan to find all the seals writing and marking them down from the most dangerous to the least troublesome one. They were being watched by Lady Chiyo who was very curious about the seals and wished to observe. Sasuke had agreed stating it would be definitely easier for them to deal with future problems if the Snake Sannin attacked again.
Lady Chiyo, "Your students do not have any filter, do they?"
Kakashi, "They are of the opinion that people already live in denial so there is no need to sugar coat things.'
Lady Chiyo, "Interesting outlook."
Naruto, "Sensei, we got rid of the easiest ones which will not endanger her. But the others, I need nee - chan to help me. It is a modified soul seal."
Kakashi, "It seems Orochimaru was indeed pissed off that you guys removed his first seal. He made a more potent one."
Shino clicked his tongue, "If only he could put a similar effort at being a decent human being."
Temari, "So she will be okay?"
Gaara, "She's waking up."
Naomi, "Naruto? Sasuke? Where is Orochimaru? I have not finished analyzing his motives."
Sasuke snorted, "Let me guess he did not appreciate the fact you read him like an open book."
Naomi, "He sort of made it easy."
Temari, "Easy for you maybe. Our Shinobi did not notice anything was wrong till the last minute. Dad is gone."
Sasuke, "My condolences."
Temari nodded and then ushered them to the rooms they would be using while they were staying in Suna. The older Council were running the village but they were also debating on who to make their Hokage. They had already approached some of the older Shinobi but they had refused till they came across Baki - Sensei. Baki agreed to hold the hat for one year but after that they would need to pick someone who was trained for it. It was a very interesting situation and Naruto pulled Gaara aside to talk away from the others. Kakashi wondered about that but decided not to interfere as long as Naruto was safe.
