Kyoko Reborn as Shinobi!

Naruto, "That Dosu guy from Oto sure is something else."

Kyoko hummed, "He seems calmer than before."

Sasuke, "Looks like the fact you healed his arms calmed him down."

Temari, "You did what?"

Lee, "That is so youthful, Naiko - san."

Kyoko, "I could not just turn a blind eye to them after knowing they were in pain twenty four seven."

Sasuke sighed, "Perhaps but I cannot explain why. I have a bad feeling about those three."

Kyoko spied Kin and Zaku in the audience watching their teammate fight in contemplation. Dosu defeated Kiba who was his opponent and walked off without waiting for the announcement. He stared at where Team Seven was then left to sit alone quietly in the corner. Kyoko had to wonder what happened between them and the ANBU, she knew as long as the exams went on the ANBU would not interfere. Maybe they just left them at the outskirts of the forest as well, that must have been very humiliating. After Dosu the next winner was Karin who fought with Ino only to overpower her, Kyoko was surprised by it.

Kyoko, "Hey that cute red haired girl over there is stronger than she let on."

Naruto, "Yeah. Hey, nee - chan, your turn now."

Sasuke, "Get down there and show us what you got."

Kyoko, "With pleasure."

Jūgo, "You are the brat the other team was complaining about."

Kyoko, "Well, it is a competition. No one said we could not use other types of methods."

Jūgo laughed, "No kidding. I like you girly, you got spunk."

Kyoko smiled cheekily, "Why thank you very much, kind sir."

Hayato, "Begin!"

Jūgo, "Sage mode."

Naruto's eyes widened, "What? I thought only Jiraiya could do that."

Sasuke's eyes sharpened, "What fun! I wish I had been paired up with him now."

Naruto pouted, "Yeah, nee - chan got lucky."

Lee, "Kyoko - san's youthfulness shines through."

Neji sighed, "Of course, Lee."

Kyoko jumped away from the punch thrown at her, "Ara Ara ~ The infamous Sage mode, I heard there was a prodigy out there. Never thought I would get to fight said prodigy."

Ino was gaping while being bandaged, "Unbelievable! I did not know Oto had a prodigy like him. If what Naruto - san is said about Sage mode is true."

Shikamaru, "Yeah, this year we have a very impressive batch of shinobi in our exams."

Karin was watching with wide eyes as Naiko - chan dodged and attacked her opponent with calculated precision. But the kunai and shuriken did not do much damage on the hardened skin that Jūgo - san seemed to be sporting. It truly made a fire burn inside her to become stronger and prove to the world that she was more than just her Uzumaki blood. Speaking of Uzumaki, Karin looked at the blond boy who was well known as the Sandaime Hokage's adopted grandson. When word had gone out about that rumour, many had criticized it, calling him a soft hearted fool. But looking at the blond Karin could easily see how happy he was and his chakra, especially his chakra, it felt like home.

Karin was sure he was of the Uzumaki clan not just in name but by blood too and she wanted to meet him. She wanted to tell him she was also an Uzumaki like him and that she was his family too but she held herself back from doing so. She looked at the Uchiha who was beside him holding his waist and turned away feeling her face turn red. She had seen the two of them get really cozy and sweet with each other at one of the restaurants meant for shinobi. She did not mean to eaves drop on them, her hearing is just really good and she heard the sweet nothings they spoke to each other. Uchiha - san had glared at her when he realized she had heard them and she had excused herself.

Karin felt herself sweat a little, 'Why are Uchihas so terrifying?'

Kyoko, "Hey, since you showed me your powerful move. Want to see mine?"

Jūgo smirked, "Sure, why not?"

Naruto, "She is gonna do it."

Sasuke, "Hn."

Kyoko pulled out a trident and hit the ground making the audience very confused and then widened their eyes at what happened next. From the ground sprung out many vines and flowers that attacked Jūgo who had to move while cursing under his breath at the attack. Kyoko had a cheeky grin on her face while the ANBU Captain who was beside the Sandaime wanted to bang his head on a wall. Kakashi eyed Tenzo who was beside him as part of the security and just as he thought the brunette was holding the railing a little too tight. They knew of his background and what Orochimaru and Danzo had done to him.

Kakashi, "Calm Tenzo."

Tenzo, "But Sempai. That is.. Naiko - san used that... "

Kakashi, "She is using a trident to do it. Just look carefully, Tenzo. The plants are coming from the trident."

Tenzo, "So, that means?"

Kakashi, "A seal, no doubt Naruto's handiwork. You know how tenacious those three are."

Tenzo calmed down, "A seal for wood release."

Kakashi, "I recall they were working on it from before the graduation. I guess they finally made it work."

Tenzo, "Oh! That's good. I am glad, she is not.. "

Kakashi then eye smiled, "You can question them about it later. Who knows maybe they will share it with you?"

Tenzo, "I will think about it."

Kyoko, "I caught you ~ Sage prodigy."

Jūgo, 'Damn, I cannot move or speak.'

Kyoko, "Ahem! Proctor - san, if you will do the count down."

Hayato nodded and started to do the countdown and finally, "The winner of this match is Kyoko from Konoha."

Kyoko smiled dispersing the mist, "I would like to spar with you again Jūgo - san."

Jūgo laughed out loud, "I really do like you kid. I would like another spar myself."

Naruto twitched, "Is that guy flirting with nee - chan?"

Sasuke, "I am sure, he is not flirting with her, Ruru - tan. Though Koko - tan does seem interested in him."

Naruto pouted, "Fine, but if he hurts Nee - chan, I hurt him."

Kazekage was eyeing her, "Oh my word, Sandaime - sama. I did not know Shodaime had a child."

Sandaime sweat dropped, 'He does not, I assure you.'

Sandaime instead said, "They are the genii of their generation. I am not surprised at this point."

Koyuki laughed, "Oh, she is just as bright as always. Just look at her. I hope she never loses sight of herself."

The Sandaime however was watching the Kazekage as he watched the young Naiko with a hungry gaze. The older man frowned at that, his protective instincts rising up inside him but he calmed down to watch the next match which was between young Torune and Tenten. That match up was another very peculiar match up that made the match last longer than five minutes. Young Torune won by having his kikaichu slowly drain the chakra out of Tenten, a simple but effective method. Tenten was not amused to find bugs in her hair but aside from that she seemed fine. Next was Lee and Temari the Kazekage's daughter.

Lee did not waste time and took off his weights to use his super speed against her. Temari frowned but did not back down that easily either and took out her two fans to create multiple tornados on the field that obscured the vision. Lee however was used to training in horrid weather conditions and dodged the tornadoes with ease. Kyoko's eyes twinkled with interest and Naruto moved a little away from his nee - chan. Sasuke noticed it too and shook his head in exasperation and amusement at his female teammate. Lee had come out victorious after knocking Temari out while distracting her with clones. The final was between Naruto and Gaara, the grandson and son of the Kages of two different nations.

Naruto, "Let the best shinobi win."

Gaara, "Obviously!"

Hayato, "Begin."

Naruto used his multiple clones technique while Gaara used his sand release to attack the blond shinobi. Everyone in the audience was cheering the two on, Naruto was well liked and the last few months Gaara had gained his own fans among the Suna civilians. Now, that the seal was no longer creating a problem for Gaara he was much more calmer than before and was helping around Suna. That had endeared him to many of the civilians who were very grateful for his help. However, just as Naruto was about to use a wind release jutsu something started to happen in the arena.

Kyoko, "I don't think so."

Sasuke, "Everyone quick huddle together now."

Neji, "What's happening?"

Shikamaru, "Genjutsu."

Ino eyed the purple tinted dome they were inside, "What's this?"

Kyoko, "My special Genjutsu technique."

Ino nodded, "Sakura and Chouji are in the stadium."

Kyoko, "You and Shikamaru should stick together. I am going to check on Koyuki - Jou. It would be bad if anything happened to her while she was in our village."

Sasuke, "Lee - Sempai, you are the fastest, could you go with Koko - tan."

Lee nodded, "Of course. You can count on me Kyoko - chan."

Sasuke, "Neji, Tenten and Temari, could you come with me please. I want to make sure Naruto and Gaara are alright. Their special constitution will get them out of the Genjutsu but still."

Temari nodded, "This is an invasion."

Kankuro, "If we are not careful it could sour the relations between two villages or make it stronger."

Torune, "Then let's make it stronger."

Shino, "My brother is correct. We will not let our friendship be wasted."

Temari smiled and Kyoko nodded and left for the area where the VIP guests were seated. Kyoko and Lee looked around and just as Temari - chan had said, it was an invasion of enemy shinobi. Kyoko frowned she did not see the Oto shinobi just a few minutes prior to Naruto and Gaara's fight. Is it possible that they were the ones who were invading their village? Kyoko did not want to throw around accusations and decided to investigate the matter more before making a final conclusion about their situation. The two reached the VIP section only to come face to face with a powerful shield around it. The guards who were with the Hokage were fighting the Oto nin leaving the Hokage to deal with Orochimaru.

Kakashi, "Kyoko."

Kyoko, "Sensei, what's happening?"

Kakashi's rinnengan was out, "It seems the Kazekage of Suna was killed by Orochimaru."

Kyoko, "What? Then that person there."

Gai, "That's Orochimaru."

Lee blanched, "Are you saying he stole the Kazekage's skin Sensei?"

Gai nodded, "Now we need to figure a way inside."

Kyoko looked around the shield and saw the Sandaime fighting the now identified Orochimaru, who really creeped her out. On her chair Koyuki was slumped out cold but beside her Uruyu - Uchiha had taken a defensive stance. At least she is safe for now, but it would not be the case for as long as Orochimaru was there with them. Then the Snake Sannin took out caskets which he opened to reveal the Shodaime and Nidaime's corpses. Kakashi's breath hitched when he saw the third casket and fury engulfed his entire being realizing whose corpse it might be.

Kyoko, "Not under my watch. Sensei, hold my hand."

Kakashi, "Koko - tan, what are you planning?"

Kyoko, "I have been working on a jutsu, and I am going to use it considering this is an emergency."

Kakashi, "As long as it does not kill you Koko - tan."

Kyoko, "It will not kill me though, it will leave me unable to move for a while."

Kakashi mused the pros and cons and then nodded, "Alright, do it."

Kyoko grabbed Kakashi's hand and black flames surrounded them both making Kakashi stare at Kyoko in alarm. The next thing he knew they were inside the shield and next to where Koyuki was. Uruyu stared at them in shock, but nodded deciding to figure out what they did later. Kyoko was breathing hard after using the black flames, she knew those flames were powerful and not easy to use but she did not have much choice. By her side her Sensei was checking her making sure she was alright and unhurt. Kakashi's face was filled with confusion seeing her chakra levels were okay but her seishin level was out of control.

Kakashi, "Uruyu - kun, could you make sure my wayward student does not do anything dangerous?"

Uruyu, "Of course, Hatake - san. Is she?"

Kakashi, "She warned me that jutsu would leave her unable to move for a while."

Kyoko, "I.. I will be f.. fine. Go help Hokage - sama, Sensei. He needs your help more. Besides, I do not want Ruru - tan to realize what that bastard did to his, you know."

Kakashi nodded, "Indeed, rest my trouble magnet. I will deal with that snake."
