Kyoko Reborn as Shinobi!

The next day Team Seven reached the test sight early and entered the Academy building. The other teams had left in the morning to meet up with their families who wanted to see them for breakfast. Gaara's team would be joining a while later, the test started around noon and it was still morning. Inside they walked up to the second floor and noticed there was a Genjutsu on the floor. It was a well made and complicated area based Genjutsu.

Naruto murmured, "Guess, they are already throwing the weak ones out."

Sasuke hummed, "Yeah, come on. If they can't clear this level, then they cannot survive in the forest."

Kyoko, "Forest?"

Sasuke nodded, "That's where Itachi - nii and Shishui - nii had their test. My other cousins too, at least those who took part in the tests held in Konoha."

Naruto, "Huh, guess that's where we are going."

Kyoko mused, "Team Six will be right at home then. It's where Anko - Sensei drags them to train."

Kakashi, "There you are. I should have known the mid - level Genjutsu won't stop you."

Sasuke smiled proudly, "We do have good chakra control, Sensei. It would be really embarrassing, if we fell for an obvious Genjutsu."

Naruto grinned, "Yeah Sensei, by the way where did you all disappear to earlier today?"

Kakashi, "I have been delegated to security, so I will be one of the watchers."

Kyoko, "Cool. So you will be watching us the whole time."

Sasuke, "That's kind of comforting in a way."

Kakashi eye smiled, "Go on then. Your friends from Suna are already here. Your sempai from the hospital too."

Naruto perked up, "Yay, we won't be the only ones."

Sasuke watched as Naruto went to greet Gaara who visibly perked up on seeing the happy blond. Kyoko headed to where Kabuto - sempai was standing with two other Shinobi who he never saw before. Sasuke frowned, he didn't recognize them, who were they? As far as he knew the even shadow groups had to get check up done now. But the two chakra, they were unrecognizable, something is wrong. He did suspect Kyoko noticed it too that's why she approached them.

Sakura called, "Sasuke - kun, you are here too."

Naomi, "I see Naruto - kun and Kyoko - chan are already off making allies."

Torune, "It's to be expected from them."

Sasuke, "Good to see you three here. We are waiting for the others to arrive."

Sakura, "I see Ino - chan. I will see you and your team around Sasuke - kun."

Torune and Naomi nodded at Sasuke and went with Sakura to greet the Ino - Shika - Chou team, while he joined Naruto. Soon the others teams appeared and huddled around them in various places throughout the room. Kyoko had joined them after a while, Kabuto - sempai was talking to the other teams. Sasuke eyed the team members beside Kabuto and looked at Kyoko.

Kyoko murmured, "I think we may have a problem."

Sasuke sighed, "I suspected as much."

Naruto smiled happily, "Guys, Gaara and his team have agreed to ally with us."

Kyoko raised her eyebrow, "I guess that would make things more bearable."

Sasuke turned at a sharp noise, "Sempai!"

Kabuto smiled reassuringly, "I am alright."

Ino was not amused, "What do you think you are doing?"

Sakura, "You got some nerve attacking one of us before the exam starts."

The shinobi that had a music note? Kyoko observes, makes an excuse about not liking being looked down on. Which was very hilarious when the group were not even talking about them specifically. Sasuke looked at Naruto who nodded but before things could get heated the door slammed open letter their new invigilators in. Team Six and Ino became apprehensive when they saw Morino - Sensei of all people.

Ibiki, "Listen up maggots, you were given numbers before you entered the Academy. Go find your seat in five minutes. Those who don't will be thrown out."

The shinobi grumbled as they searched for their assigned seats in the room. Kyoko was seated next to Ino, Naruto was between to Lee and Gaara and Sasuke sat next to Kabuto who he scanned. Kabuto gave him an exasperated smile but thanked him nonetheless for worrying. Sasuke gave a sigh and muttered about careless adults in his life.

Ibiki, "Alright maggots, you have an hour to answer these questions. Anyone caught cheating five times will be thrown out and banned from the Chunin exam. The final tenth question will be given in the last ten minutes."

Sakura mumbled, "A theory paper? Huh, good thing Ino - chan and I studied hard."

Tenten who was behind her muttered, "Ah, we know some of these answers. We should thank Naruto - kun later for teaching us the basics of third level sealing."

Lee, "YOSH! I will pass with the flames of youth."

Gaara, 'How energetic.'

Naruto whispered, "Psst... Lee, Gaara if you have problems just watch my answers discreetly. As long as we aren't caught we are safe."

Neji went over the questions, 'Looks like my teammates will be okay. Some of these are the same advanced theories Kyoko - chan made us read.'

Shikamaru, 'Troublesome.'

Chouji, 'We went through some of these with Ino - chan. Oh, I know the answer for the geometry questions.'

Torune chuckled inwardly, 'Kyoko will have our heads, if we are unable to answer some of these by ourselves.'

Naomi smirked, 'Oh? I can clear this round very easily.'

Shino, 'Looks like others are struggling with some of the questions anyway.'

Kiba was grumbling under his breath, "No way, the bs, Team Seven made us go through actually is useful."

Akamaru barked in amusement making Kiba grumble more at his partner as he sat to answer the questions. At the watch tower the Senseis were watching some of their students grumble a little before starting to answer the questions. Sakura, Ino, Naomi, Shino, Torune, Kyoko, Sasuke and Naruto were answering the questions. But one look at the description of the answers and the details differed for each of them.

Ino and Sakura had very similar answers no doubt due to studying together. Hinata, Naomi and Tenten were not behind them. Kyoko though gave very detailed and yet precise answers for every question. Sasuke answered the medical based question in more detail than any other questions. Naruto detailed the question regarding seals and how to correct it. It looked like Lee and Gaara answered the questions they knew first then copied off from Naruto.

The Aburame twins answered the questions in short and to the point answers. Chouji took his time to answer them while Shikamaru answered in short sentences. The Nara promptly fell asleep after answering all the questions as fast as he could. The older sand siblings seem to take que from Gaara and answered their questions in a similar fashion. During this time one by one the shinobi were being escorted out by the invigilators for being caught.

Kyoko, "And done."

Kurenai watched her, "Exactly what have you been teaching them?"

Kakashi eye smiled, "Survival nothing much."

Anko drawled, "Righttttt, only survival."

Asuma puffed a smoke, "My students have a lot to say or rather my female student has a lot to grumble about when it comes to yours."

Kakashi, "Hmm... They mean well. Besides, my students would not have to man handle yours if they attended their regular check up like good little shinobi."

Gai, "YOSH! Such bright students."

Shisui smiled, "Sasuke and Naomi are doing really well though. They are, actually none of either teams have tried to use any jutsus or any technique to cheat."

Kakashi turned a page, "In Naruto's words, Kyoko would and can put them through a hell level study if they can't answer theory."

Shisui sweat dropped, "That is a little harsh, isn't it?"

Kakashi, "I can count on my hand how many theories they go through together. In fact I believe they are close to solving the little eye problem the Uchiha has."

Anko, "Eye problem?"

Shisui sighed, "The sharingan is a powerful weapon and it comes with a price."

Asuma frowned, "Blindness, it's blindness, isn't it?"

Shisui, "That's not all, it can apparently turn worse. We found out a few years ago."

Anko eyed him, "Is that why Itachi - kun is not active anymore?"

Shisui nodded, "Yes."

Kurenai, "That's... Is that why Runika - chan is not an active kunoichi as well? Then what about you Kakashi? You have a sharingan too."

Kakashi, "It has been dealt with, don't worry. Though it is not a feasible solution in the long run."

Ibiki then got everyone's attention, "Listen up maggots, it's time for the last question. Those of you who are not confident to answer leave right now. Those who fail won't be allowed to take part in the Chunin exams ever again."

There were a lot of shouting and protest against what Ibiki said. The man however grinned darkly telling them he was the one in charge of the exams and therefore he made all the rules in a sadistic way. Naruto watched wide eyed as the man made many of the shinobi leave the exam hall. As medics they had learned about the psychology of human mind, Kyuubi had found it very fascinating. The three of them even had the chance to help one shinobi mentally.

Ibiki, "Congratulations to all those who were left behind. You passed the first round."

Temari, "What? Just like that?"

Kiba glared, "What's the catch?"

Chouji, "I thought there was one more question."

Ibiki grinned menacingly as he took off his bandages to everyone's surprised gasps, "The life of a shinobi is the shortest one. You never know when the next move, the next mission or jutsu will be your last. Many times it will make you question whether or not the mission you are doing is worth the sacrifice. The final question was whether you will push forward or quit."

Naruto, "I get it."

Hinata, "Oh, so that's what it is."

Ino muttered, "Sensei, you are a bastard."

Ibiki continued on, "Congratulations on moving on to the next round. They are yours now Bull."

A familiar mask and voice appeared, "Well, well, well, aren't we lucky? Get a move on brats. The next playground has been chosen. See you at Area 44."

Kyoko nodded at her boys and the three left, but not before, Naruto tapped Gaara's shoulder to get his attention. Gaara went to collect his siblings and followed after Naruto who was heading towards a large forest area. There were ANBU around the place and Kyoko eyed them, recognizing some of them. Naruto though was beaming and asking them how the seals were working out for them. Deer indulged him giving him a detailed account on how useful the seals were.

Kyoko, "It has been a while Bull - san. I was not really expecting to see you take charge of the Chunin exams."

Bull eyes her, "After what happened the last few months, we figured it would be easier for all of us if we were more hands on with the situation."

Sasuke was disgruntled, "We don't actually get into those situations, you know?"

Temari swears up and down she could feel the judgmental stares from the ANBU, 'What are these three getting into exactly?'

Soon the talk was cut short when the other teams started to arrive and the ANBU started to distribute a paper for them to sign. The paper basically said, they were heading into the second part of the exam on their own and Konoha was in no way responsible for their lives and death. It was basically open season for shinobi to kill other shinobi. Kyoko would not put it past most of them to not try and kill someone or another.

Bull, "Listen up, we are distributing the Earth and Heaven scrolls now. You need both scrolls to go to the next round. Your target is the tower in the middle of the forest. Go to your gates."

Sasuke eyed Naruto who was skipping as he walked beside them, 'What did you do this time, sunshine?'

Kyoko turned to them, "This should be interesting. Okay, as planned, spam clones."

Sasuke, "Yeah."

Naruto was grinning, "Can't wait to start."

The warning bell rang and the gates opened in front of all the participants. Sakura was making plans in her head as her team entered the forest of Death. Team Six and Ten had agreed to help each other in the forest. Lee, Tenten and Neji headed for the tree tops directly opting for a higher view. Team Eight though set up the first trap and waited for a team to fall for it.

Sasuke though turned to Naruto after entering, "So, what did you do?"

Naruto took out two scrolls, "Look what I got."

Kyoko started to laugh, "Good job my clever prankster."

Sasuke smirked, "Want to mess around with the other teams?"

Naruto grinned like a fox, "I have been dying to test a few seals."

Kyoko, "Let's go then."

Bull was resigned watching the cameras which were close to the entrance. The ANBU as one turned to Kakashi who was sitting back on a couch radiating smugness. Anko and Kurenai shook their heads while Gai was shouting about being hip and cool. Shisui was laughing like a maniac and Asuma just stared at the ceiling praying for patience. There was technically no rule saying they were not allowed to steal a scroll before the test.
