Graduation
Naruto was meditating along side Kyoko nee - chan, his face always flushed with happiness whenever he thought about it. He was trying to talk to the Kyuubi no Kitsune who was hell bent on ignoring him and sleeping. Naruto had complained about Kyuubi being a lazy furball after his first try contacting him. It had made Crow and Inu choke which had made the kids look at them in worry, Sasuke even checked on their health a little worried about them.
Inu had waved the young Uchiha's worry away and asked what Naruto meant. Naruto had blinked and explained what they or rather Kyoko nee - chan had discovered. That had Crow intrigued because they had found nothing, no information of Kyuubi no Kitsune approaching Konoha, no information about where it was prior. Kyoko pointed out that the only way for someone or any being that powerful but not a human, to appear was to be summoned to the area.
They were trying to figure out who summoned the Kyuubi but the giant furball was being lazy and stubborn. Snake had been shaking whether from laughter or the incredulity of the information, they could not tell. They did however seem invested in it and gave tips on how to approach wild animals and summons. That is, if Kyuubi was really a summon then they might have problems with their own summons being used by questionable summoners in the future.
They remembered a certain snake summoner who had betrayed the village. Anko cursed inside her head after her watch was over and informed the Hokage of the latest suspicion. The Hokage gave a tired puff on hearing about it and ordered Inu to keep an eye on them. Just in case, the kids decided the Kyuubi was innocent and tried to release them, it would cause nothing but pandemonium. The old leader got up and sent for a summons calling the children and their parents.
The talk that followed had been very interesting to say the least. Hiruzen had been quiet pleased to dump the extra responsibility on the parents. Naruto had eyed him incredulously when the young blond realized what happened only for Hiruzen to shrug and point out, his friends were civilian not yet shinobi. So whatever they did would be the responsibility of their shinobi parents. Naruto had a nagging feeling his Jiji just did not want to deal with the extra paperwork and headache from them.
Now, back to the present, their graduation was in a week and there was still no development with Kyuubi. The little blond was getting frustrated, in fact he was frustrated enough to step inside the cage today. Naruto eyed the large bars in front of him and shouted Kyuubi's name, banged on the bars and every annoying thing his neechan had told him to try to get attention. He even tried his Sexy no jutsu to see if he could get a reaction but nothing.
Naruto pouted, "Okay, that's it, dattebayo. I'm coming in, you giant furball."
Naruto just entered the cage when he was pulled out and held up by a red head. The blond blinked before he squawked in indignation looking around. He was sure no one except Kyuubi and himself was supposed to be there only to see another man with blond hair. Naruto did a quick observation of the two, they were both good looking people. If it were not for the situation he would have been interested in meeting them.
Naruto squirmed, "Who are you, dattebayo? Put me down! How did you get here? Are you the one who summoned Kyuubi to attack Konoha?"
The blond chuckled, "My, my our little kitten sure is a suspicious one Kushina - chan."
Kushina grinned, "Yes, it looks like it, Minato - kun."
Naruto paused then glared, "I know those names, ttebayo. You are the idiots who sealed Kyuubi inside me. What are you doing here?"
Kushina felt a tick mark on her face, "Excuse me, gaki? Who are you calling an idiot?"
Naruto, "Iiiidiiiiot, dattebayo."
Minato sighed, "Naruto - kun, I understand you have a grudge."
Naruto, "No, no, I get it you were cornered but seriously, you did not even try to break the mind control on him. Just jumped to sealing him away, dattebayo."
Naruto paused, "Hey, you are a he, right? How long are you going to ignore me? Ttebayo!"
Minato almost snickered at the puff of air that Kyuubi let out. He and his wife were honestly not expecting to appear so soon. Kushina had a fond look on her face despite their meeting and proceeded to throw her hands up and hug Naruto getting a squeak from their child.
Minato, "Naru - chan, do you know who we are to you?"
Naruto was trying to get away, "No? Should I?"
Kushina looked at him sadly, "Ruru - tan, we are your parents."
Naruto stilled his eyes changing, "What? Explain!"
The couple looked at each other and sat down in the mindscape which was a mix of Sarutobi compound and the Naiko household. The two places Naruto considered his home, while Kyuubi was behind a cage made of wood but surrounded by Dahlia. It meant mysterious and Naruto was very curious about the Fox, not scared of him at all.
Minato, "First of all Naruto, we never left."
Kushina was still holding Naruto's hand, "We have been watching over you from here, though we are not always able to contact you."
Naruto, "Really?"
Minato smiled and the three of them made themselves comfortable as the two adults told him what they could withim the time limit. Naruto was sad they could not spend more time together only for Kyuubi to sigh and send his chakra. Minato and Kushina gasped on receiving golden chakra instead of the red chakra.
Naruto, "I knew it, you were ignoring me."
Kyuubi turned his back on them again, "Spend time with your parents brat. Let me sleep."
Naruto puffed his cheeks, "Come on! Tell me who summoned you. Wait, you two were there too, right. Who was it?"
Kushina, "Well, we are not sure ourselves Ruru - tan."
Minato, "He was wearing a strange mask and used a powerful Sharingan."
Naruto, "That can't be right, Jiji did an investigation, the Uchihas are innocent, unless someone stole the sharingan. Can you describe it for me?"
The couple looked at each other then decided it would be better if he knew and described in detail what the sharingan looked like. To say Naruto was disturbed was an understatement, that did not sound like a normal sharingan and promised not to go after the man alone. When Naruto woke up from his meditative state it was to his friends and ANBU watching him.
Naruto, "Boy, do I have a lot to tell you, dattebayo."
Kyoko nodded, "Start from the beginning, Naruto - kun."
Naruto nodded and told them everything that happened, from meeting his parents to learning about what happened that night. Inu was fidgeting when Naruto spoke about his parents, he wanted to say a lot of things but refrained from doing so. Weasel though was disturbed by the sharingan that Naruto had just described. It sounded similar to Mangekyō sharingan and seemed similar to what Kakashi had but in the wrong side. Did someone steal Obito's other eye? Inu was clenching his fist in silent fury.
Inu, "Children, focus on your graduation for now."
Weasel, "We will deal with this."
Sasuke, "Dad needs to know."
Weasel, "I'll tell him."
Shino, "This changes things, doesn't it?"
Torune, "It does, kekkai genkai theft usually leads to execution."
Naomi growled, "They will pay for this."
Hinata fiddled her fingers, "Do you think it was one of the enemy villages?"
Kyoko, "It could be anyone if I were to be honest. We would have to investigate this further."
Sasuke nodded, "Count me in. After graduation we will become shinobi, which means we will be able to access files easier."
Soon, it was time for the graduation and Kyoko had them train and perfect any jutsu they knew till they could perform it to perfection. Whether it be Naruto's sexy jutsu to elemental jutsu to tai - jutsu to chakra control. They were practicing hard and Naruto had added different body types to his sexy jutsu, courtesy of Kyoko's many descriptions of different body types. Which reminded him of the sex ed class they had in the Academy.
Iruka sensei had just told them about how the male and female anatomy worked. Kyoko - chan had raised her hand and asked him about the shinobi standards. Iruka sensei had paused then he laid down the rules for the Shinobi:
1. Males and females make no difference to shinobi.
2. Are you attracted to them physically?
3. Are you sure they pose no danger to the village?
4. Can you trust them to not try and kill you when you are vulnerable?
5. Are you hundred percent sure they won't go psycho at your death when your relationship ends?
If the answer to all the above questions is yes, then go for it. Iruka sensei told them to always remember they would be shinobi soon and as shinobi their safety always comes first. The standards for shinobi are different from standards for a civilian and to not mix them up. That had many children who came from civilian family and clan look at each other in interest.
Iruka sensei was now handing them answer sheets, "Okay, everyone. Ready your pencils and pens. When I tell you to start you may start."
Naruto went through the questions, 'These are the same things Kyoko - chan made us memorise. I can do it, dattebayo.'
Naruto focused on answering the theory part, oblivious to the glare he was receiving from one of the teachers. It was seen by the ANBU however and when Mizuki went to grab Naruto's paper after the time was up, one of the ANBU checked the paper. Mizuki twitched as Weasel praised the answers out loud for Iruka to hear then Weasel gave the paper to the brunette. Then came the practical part and Kyoko used her opponent's weight against them to win.
Naruto was watching it all with wide eyes, Kyoko had explained to him how it worked a month before. But watching it's effectiveness in action was a different matter, most tai - jutsu required them to block and attack. Naomi was watching everything with a glint in her eyes then used the move herself. Sakura was dumbfounded as she stared at the sky, yeah, she could understand Ino's desire to prove herself now.
Naomi and Sakura had been matched together while Kyoko had been matched with a girl from the Nara clan. Naruto was teamed up with Sasuke and the two had quite the brawl, with both sides not giving up the match. Iruka sensei had to call a tie to make them stop so others could get a chance. Kyoko chuckled at their grinning faces as the two joined them and the rest took part. Finally, it was time for the three jutsus which they all cleared very easily.
Naruto walked out with his new head band, "Nee - chan, look, look."
Kyoko, "Congratulations, Naru - tan. Congratulations to everyone. Let's go eat to celebrate. I prepared a feast for us."
Naomi perked up, "Really?"
Hinata, "Dessert too?"
Shino, "I am hungry."
Torune, "Our kikaichu as well."
Sasuke, "Let's go eat then."
Kyoko took out the scroll, that Naruto had personally made for her. It could hold food and keep it warm without any problem. Kyoko took out casseroles filled with home made pasta, curry, rice and apple crumble. Their eyes twinkled in curiosity as Kyoko started to plate them large amounts of food. The girls could swear Kyoko - chan was planning on feeding them till they burst. Also, they would eat till they burst, the food she made was just delicious, a little strange perhaps.
Shino and Torune along with their kikaichu enjoyed the desserts which were dripping with honey. Sasuke was enjoying the pasta made with fresh made tomato sauce while Naomi enjoyed the sweet and spicy curry with rice. Hinata enjoyed every dish and told them her cousin and his team were on their first B rank mission. After Naruto had successfully removed the seal, Neji had taken to bringing him souvenirs.
That had Naruto flustered but he did not mind the gifts and felt flattered. Kyoko did noticed Sasuke was a little envious and wondered if Sasuke had an interest in Neji or Naruto. Sasuke was not saying who it was when Kyoko had asked but Naomi probably knew. She had been talking to Sasuke about his crush and told Kyoko, she would soon figure it out. The next few years would be very interesting for them. Late that night the ANBU captured another traitor to the village.
