Naruto was a passionate shinobi who loved nothing more than going on missions. She derived immense pleasure from the thrill of adventure and the satisfaction of completing each mission successfully. However, her ultimate dream was to become Hokage, and every mission brought her one step closer to achieving it.

But this particular mission was different. It was her last mission with Kakashi, the who had been her mentor and guide throughout her journey. The thought of parting ways with him was bittersweet, and Naruto couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness at the prospect of bidding him farewell.

Of course, Naruto understood why Kakashi had decided to become Hokage. He was a natural leader, wise and experienced, and his dedication to the village was unparalleled. But as they sat by the riverbank, watching the water flow by, Naruto couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion. Seeing her beloved sensei take a sip from his canteen as he gazed into the distance, Naruto wondered what the future held in store for her and her friends, and how they would fare without Kakashi's guidance.

Naruto was very perceptive and noticed that Kakashi didn't seem too keen on the idea of becoming the Hokage. She was aware that he would never aspire to become the Hokage if he did not have to, which he currently does not. Naruto believed that Kakashi loved the village more than the third Hokage himself.

As she felt a bit too warm, Naruto proceeded to pull her blanket off her body and stood up from the rollout bed. She walked over to Kakashi, who was standing by the running water. "How are you sensei?" she asked in a soft tone, her gaze shifted onto the running water. However, Kakashi remained silent, his eyes firmly fixed on the water, which was being illuminated by the moonlight.

Kakashi then wrapped his arm around Naruto, pulling her into his side. Despite his silence, Naruto felt comforted by his touch and the warmth that emanated from him.

Naruto's eyes darted towards her sensei, Kakashi, who had his mask covering the lower half of his face, making it impossible for her to read his expression. She felt a lump form in her throat as he directed his attention towards her. "Naruto," Kakashi began, his voice low and steady, "I've been meaning to ask you something. "You remember when you returned from your trip with Jiyara, right? I noticed that you gave me a gift, but no one else received anything. Can you tell me why that is?" Naruto's heart sank as she realized that Kakashi had noticed her actions, and she struggled to find the words to explain herself.

Naruto's gaze shifts towards the river bank, her piercing blue eyes contemplative and lost in thought. She is preoccupied, her mind racing as she tries to come up with a believable excuse for her behavior. It is evident to her that she is a hormonal teenager, and can't help finding her sensei, Kakashi, attractive. "I'm not really sure," Naruto responds to Kakashi's question, her gaze still fixated on the flowing waters of the river. The sound of the water and the gentle breeze are the only sounds that fill the silence between them.

Naruto's response seemed to satisfy Kakashi, and he rewarded her with a thoughtful nod. He retrieved his canteen and offered it to her, a gesture that betrayed a rare kindness. As she took a sip, the liquid burned her throat, causing her to make a sound of discomfort. "Ack... it's alcohol," she said, her voice laced with irritation.

Kakashi chuckled, a sound so low and alluring that it seemed to resonate within Naruto. "Indeed," he said, his lips curling into a small smile, Naruto feeling the lingering burn of the drink in her throat, and Kakashi seemingly amused by her reaction.

Naruto shoots Kakashi a half-hearted glare when she notices the small smile playing on his lips, through his mask. She wonders what he is thinking about as he leans against her. Suddenly, he moves closer and presses his clothed lips against hers for a few moments before turning his attention back to the river. Naruto feels her face flush a deep shade of red as she watches the water flow by, lost in her own thoughts and trying to make sense of what just happened. Her blue eyes reflect the gentle ripples of the river, and she tries to push away the feelings of confusion and uncertainty that are swirling within her.

Kakashi leans in closer to her, he gently pulls down his mask and presses his lips against hers in a tender kiss. As their lips meet, he savors the taste of her on his tongue - a delightful mix of ramen and rum. He murmurs these words softly to her before pulling his mask back up and pulling her further into him. The warmth of her body against his sends shivers down his spine, and he feels a sense of contentment wash over him. In that moment, nothing else matters but the two of them - lost in their own world of love, and unknown futures
