A somewhat light-hearted one-shot.I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think.

"Why do we have to do this? I really don't want to!" complained Kakashi, trailing behind Minato.

Turning around with a wide grin, Minato replied, "Because it's my wedding, and I want you to look sharp in a suit."

Kakashi sighed in frustration. "What about Obito? You're not dragging him through the village. Or Rin?"

Minato walked up beside Kakashi, draping an arm around his shoulder to pull him closer. "I'm least worried about Rin. She'll wear a lovely dress, and Obito has his grandma to take care of that. I'm not meddling there," Minato explained, adding, "But I'm responsible for you since you live with me."

The nine-year-old squirmed out of Minato's grip. "You know you're going to get in trouble, right?"

Shrugging, Minato asked, "Why would I?"

Rolling his eyes, Kakashi replied, "Because Kushina was planning to take me shopping next week," he said, shooting Minato a sharp look.

Minato waved it off. "Don't worry, she'll be glad I took that off her plate. There's still so much to organize. When she gets back from her mission, she'll be grateful I spared her the ordeal of shopping with a grumpy teenager." He gave Kakashi a loving wink, adding, "Besides, how hard can it be? A suit is a suit."

Kakashi shrugged, crossing his arms behind his head. "You're the adult here."

"Exactly!" Minato stopped and pointed to an elegant store. "We need to go there, come on."

Minato led the way, and Kakashi followed him into a stylish shop. Suits of various styles were displayed everywhere, and Kakashi gulped, realizing this wouldn't be an easy decision.

Annoyed, Kakashi was already trying on the sixth suit while Minato couldn't make up his mind. Kakashi suspected Minato was more afraid of picking the wrong suit.

With a sigh, Kakashi stepped out of the dressing room, seeing Minato scrutinizing the next suit. Frowning, Minato looked Kakashi up and down. "I'm not sure," he muttered, his gaze shifting between Kakashi and the suit.

Kakashi slouched slightly, shooting Minato a sharp look. "You say that about every suit! Can you please make up your mind? They all look the same," he said, a hint of irritation in his voice. Kakashi was slowly losing his patience.

Minato glanced at Kakashi, shaking his head slightly. "The suits were different, weren't they? Or are you colorblind?" He teased with a slight smile before his expression turned serious again. "It has to be one that suits you well." Minato's gaze wandered around the store.

Raising an eyebrow, Kakashi crossed his arms. "I think you underestimated the suit matter and now you're afraid of making the wrong choice."

Minato's gaze immediately averted, a slight blush appearing on his cheeks. "No, that's not it! I just want to carefully consider which one suits you best!" Minato defended himself, approaching Kakashi and handing him another suit. "Try this one on again," he instructed.

Kakashi grabbed the suit and turned to head back into the dressing room. He waved dismissively and glanced over his shoulder. "As you wish, you're definitely not afraid of Kushina," he said with a mischievous smile, noticing Minato's cheeks turn a shade redder.

Annoyed, Kakashi flopped onto the couch after they finally got back home. It had taken three hours for Minato to finally decide on a suit.

Minato entered the living room with the suit in hand, draping it over a chair before sitting next to Kakashi on the couch. "That went well," he said, pleased with himself.

Kakashi glanced at Minato with a frown. "We spent three hours in that store! And in the end, you chose the first one I tried on. I wouldn't call that 'going well'."

Minato chuckled and nudged Kakashi's arm. "Was it so bad spending time with me?" he teased.

Kakashi sighed deeply, sinking further into the couch. "It wasn't necessarily bad spending time with you, but rather what we did," he replied, a bit annoyed.

"I'm sorry, Kashi! Honestly, I didn't expect there to be so many different suits," Minato confessed, looking at Kakashi with gentle eyes.

Kakashi waved him off and closed his eyes. "It's fine. Now you just have to hope Kushina likes it," he said. He was hoping she'd approve too, as he had no desire to spend another day trying on suits.

Minato patted Kakashi's thigh and stood up. "She'll like it, don't worry. I'll make us some food, any requests?"

Kakashi shook his head, looking forward to a moment of peace. Minato left the living room and headed to the kitchen. Kakashi heard the sounds from the kitchen and relaxed a bit.

Lying on the couch, Kakashi let his thoughts wander. The sounds from the kitchen, the clattering of pots and the sizzling of the pan, oddly calmed him. It was a familiar sound, one that made him feel at home.

After a while, the smell of fried meat and fresh herbs wafted into the room, making his stomach growl lightly. Kakashi smiled to himself, grateful for Minato's cooking skills. It was nice to have someone care for him, especially after such a tiring day.

Kakashi was putting the dishes back into the cupboard when he heard the jingle of the front door. Minato, who was wiping down the countertops next to him, immediately stiffened and turned towards the hallway. A smile spread across his face upon hearing Kushina's familiar voice. "I'm back!" echoed her voice throughout the apartment.

Kakashi closed the cupboard and followed Minato, who was rushing towards Kushina. "Glad you're back!" Minato exclaimed, pulling Kushina into a loving hug.

Kushina returned the hug, then gave Kakashi a warm smile as he stood behind Minato. After breaking away from Minato, she went straight to Kakashi and hugged him without warning. "Have you been behaving?" she joked, tousling his hair affectionately.

Annoyed, Kakashi pulled away, rolled his eyes, and ran his fingers through his hair. "You should ask Minato-sensei if he's been behaving," he replied with a smirk, glancing at Minato.

Kushina immediately turned to Minato, raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms. "What have you done?" she asked with a accusing tone.

Minato raised his hands defensively, smiling at her. "Before you say anything, just wait. You'll be pleased." He motioned for Kushina to follow him.

Though still suspicious, Kushina followed the blonde. Kakashi joined them, weaving past them and flopping onto the couch. He knew it was better to stay out of it.

Minato picked up the suit from the chair and held it out to Kushina with a broad smile. A moment of silence filled the room as Kushina inspected the suit. Her forehead creased, and she raised an eyebrow. Kakashi knew from her expression that she didn't like it.

"What is this?" she asked, shooting Minato a glare.

The smile faded from Minato's face as he glanced between the suit and Kushina. "That's Kakashi's suit for the wedding. We chose it together today," Minato explained cautiously, casting a brief glance at Kakashi.

"Leave me out of this! This was all your idea!" Kakashi defended himself as Kushina shot him a glance.

She turned back to Minato, arms crossed. "It doesn't match your suit at all!"

Minato swallowed hard. "I didn't know it was supposed to match mine," he admitted softly, uncertainty in his eyes.

Kakashi couldn't help but chuckle. It was rare to see his teacher so speechless and embarrassed.

Kushina sighed, dropping her arms. "You're returning that suit tomorrow," she declared, then turned to Kakashi. "We're getting you a proper one tomorrow. You two can't be left alone."

Kakashi sunk deeper into the couch, shooting Minato a glare. Minato slumped his shoulders, looking at his suit. "It doesn't look that bad."

Kushina walked past Minato into the kitchen, shrugging. "You just have no taste when it comes to these things."

Minato turned to follow her. "Hey, it's not that bad." He followed her into the kitchen, and the two began to argue.

Kakashi remained seated on the couch, letting out a soft snort. He had known from the start it was a bad idea. But seeing Minato speechless was amusing, and their little argument brought a smile to Kakashi's lips.

Listening to their little spat, Kakashi relaxed. He knew he didn't have to worry; everything would be fine in a few hours. He closed his eyes and enjoyed this brief moment.
