Obi—No. Tobi was supposed to be dead. He ran out of his house in a panic, with his heart too soft to carry his sinful acts, his hands too small to carry a heavy weapon, his eyes too bright to see the light blue skies. He wasn’t supposed to be here. He was supposed to save the kid as his one final act of atonement.He runs. And he runs. And in a panic, he runs to find a silver haired child. He drops to his knees, his voice cutting itself off, stuttering with apologies even though he knew—he could feel that he couldn’t understand.To his surprise, what met him weren’t crazy looks.Or: Obito( when he dies from the fourth shinobi war) somehow time travels to the past when he was just a kid, a few months before that mission. his kid brain taken over with his adult memories runs to kakashi's house. Instead of the rule obsessed Kakashi, he meets the Rokudaime Hokage.(Sometimes I use Tobi and Obito interchangeably)
