The battle against Code.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Boruto was fully focused on his fight with Code. He had trained hard during these three years, and the effects were evident in the way he moved and fought. He was now able to keep up with Code and his Claw Grimes, dodging their attacks and striking back with lightning-fast countermeasures.
Boruto launched himself towards Code with impressive speed, activating his special jutsu: Rasengan – Uzuiko. He dashed past the Claw Grimes and honed in on his target, determined to finally take down Code once and for all.
Boruto's Rasengan found its mark, hitting Code directly in the stomach and causing him to let out a pained grunt as he was sent crashing backwards. The impact knocked him towards the surrounding houses in the distance, leaving him hurt and off-balance from the attack.
Code attempted to swipe at Boruto with his claws, but found it exceedingly difficult to land a single blow on him. Initially, he suspected that it was a product of some form of genjutsu, but then, Kawaki and the others suddenly appeared on the scene, making him realize that the situation was real.
Sarada quickly rushed towards the Claw Grimes assaulting the innocent villagers. Utilizing her lightning-fast Chidori to strike the first Claw Grime decisively and then launching her iconic Fire Style Fire-Ball Jutsu to incinerate the second and last one, effectively vanquishing the danger and protecting the vulnerable civilians.
As Sarada focused on protecting the villagers from the Claw Grimes, a sudden attack from behind caught her off guard. Fortunately, a nearby shinobi acted swiftly, sacrificing himself to save her from the vicious bite.*
Unfortunately, the shinobi's bravery came at a severe cost, as the bite transformed him into a tree inexplicably. Sarada was devastated by the tragic outcome.
