Guy always knew that he was not the main character even in his life.
Guy had accepted the fact long ago that his existence was only a supporting character no matter how great he was.
He knew why that thought came to him.
He was worthless.
Even though it had been a long time, the memory of the ridicule he had received since childhood never disappeared. He didn't blame anyone. Because it was true.
And his father who always made him valuable. Making him the most special, shining in his childhood.
Losing his father was a sorrow. But if he remembered that one day he would meet in death in due time, his hidden hope, he was able to become a worthless person who was needed if needed.
But it turned out that it made his heart ache. He wanted to be a main character, a priority. Especially in Kakashi's life.
Guy wondered to himself why all this time he had been so able to be Kakashi's shadow. Becoming an encouragement, a comforter for Kakashi who was actually looking at another place that was nothing more than a tombstone.
All this time he had closed his eyes. Pretending was the best way for Kakashi to stay happy.
It actually hurt him a lot. He was the one who survived so that Kakashi wouldn't curse life but he was also the one who was defeated by the tombstone.
'Why don't you look at me, Kakashi?'
Guy also wanted to be loved as much as he loved Kakashi.
Empty hopes, still meaningless. A mere futility.
He remembered, how Kakashi's gaze was on the owner of the tombstone who was actually still alive.
There was a feeling of tightness and brokenness.
He also wanted to be stared at with such desire.
There was love tucked away in Kakashi's anger at Uchiha Obito.
Guy wanted to curse fate why he was still alive after opening the eighth gate.
Guy didn't want to be trapped as a shelter for all of Kakashi's misfortunes, again.
Hearing Kakashi doubting himself because he no longer had the sharingan given by Uchiha Obito was enough to tear his heart apart.

But that sentence only screamed in his angry imagination. He just smiled and he knew he had to return to his previous role.
Guy was quite self-conscious considering his current condition.
Finally, the feeling of love became bland.
"I want to be with you, papa," Guy said even though only the wind heard it.
