Summary
After the end of Naruto Shippuden, Sasuke inexplicably ends up in the world of Demon Slayer. Sasuke is back to his twelve year old self, but with all of his memories before he was teleported.Sasuke wakes up from his daze. His eyes are slowly regaining their vision. He slowly sits up and observes his surroundings. It looks as if he is in a giant sky, whose reflection is reflected on the thin surface of the water on which he lies. After Sasuke sat up properly (even with effort, using the one arm he has), he saw a person standing in front of him. Or is that a person? Where is he? Why is he here?Important!!! English is not my native language. I use Google Translate. So if there are any typos, I'm sorry. This is my first fanfiction.

=- Next month's recap

After the trip to the Swordsmith Village, Giyuu resumed the missions and settled into the water estate.

=- Giyuu POV

Giyuu has been in this universe for exactly five years now. So he's seventeen years old now.

He gets up from his futon and goes to the kitchen. Kanzaburo and Farukon are waiting for him there. Giyuu put a seat in the kitchen for them both to sit on.

He gets ready for breakfast and puts grains in a bowl. They can hunt the carnal prey themselves.

After breakfast, Kanzaburo goes to sleep. He isn't called to get a mission, so Giyuu doesn't mind. Farukon on the other side sits on Giyuu's shoulder.

Without Tomioka saying anything, the world around him changes. In front of him stands the fire god, around him is the well-known image of the dimension.

“Good morning Giyuu Tomioka and happy fifth year in this universe,” says the god with a calm but cheerful tone. “Good morning,” Giyuu greets back.

“I have a present for you. Or rather, I want to give you something back. You have trained your chakra well and have your previous control back. Therefore...” the god snaps his fingers. Nothing happens. “As soon as you get back it’ll be back. I apologize in advance.” Hinokami says. “Ehh, okay?”

“Do you have any questions?” asks the god. “Thanks and no,” Giyuu replies. Whatever that was, he'll find out soon anyway. They both say goodbye and the dimension disappears.

Once the world returns to normal, Giyuu falls to his knees. Farukon, who is still sitting on his shoulder, flaps his wings and lands next to him.

Giyuu holds his hand to his left eye. He takes his hand away again. It's covered in blood. His eye hurts. Giyuu stands up carefully. He can barely stand on his feet. He slowly walks towards the bathroom and gets his first aid kit from a cupboard.

He carefully holds a cloth to his eye so as not to spread the blood even more on the floor. After a short time his pain eases. He continues to hold the cloth in front of his eye.

He stumbles in front of the mirror hanging over the sink and carefully takes the cloth away. In his reflection he looks at his left eye. It is a purple eye with black rings. There are three tomoe in the two innermost circles, for a total of six.

The pain stops and the bleeding stops. Giyuu carefully dabs the blood and bandages his eye.

Ok. That was really painful. Very painful, Tomioka thinks as he steps out of the bathroom to wipe the blood from the floor. A warning would have been great.

The first time I got the eye it didn't hurt that much. But that could also be because I was dying and there was a war going on. And because I didn't have time to focus on the pain.

After cleaning up the blood, Giyuu thinks about how best to divert attention from his eye once the bandage is off.

Kanzaburo didn't notice any of this. Good. The crow might have died of a heart attack.

So what does he do until there's a mission. Train? Bad idea, he doesn't want to put too much strain on his eyes with the movements. Maybe meditate by the waterfall to further improve his breathing? Good idea.

Giyuu goes to the waterfall and sits cross-legged. He listens to the rippling water and the fish in the pond. It's really calming.

He bought the fish shortly after he moved in. It makes the area seem a little more lively.

Farukon flies past him and lands on a branch. The leaves rustle in the wind.

=- Summary of the next few months

Giyuu completes one mission after another. At first he leaves his eye bandaged.

About two weeks after the incident, he takes the bandage off and just puts his mask on. He used his Rinnegan a few times during the fight to get used to it again. And no, he hasn't tried to enter another dimension yet.

The problem now? There's a six-month Hashira meeting in an hour.

=- End of summary

I'll just leave my eye bandaged, Giyuu thinks. I'll just say I got hurt and that's it. Yup, that's how I do it.

Giyuu takes out the bandage again and wraps it around his left eye. He puts his mask on the left side of his head instead of the right side. Just so it's a little bit hidden.

And once he has the bandages out, he also renews the incantations on his wrists. The bandages have become dirty again since the last change. If the bandages are too dirty or wet the formulas will not work. He had to learn that the hard way.

There are still about 25 minutes until the meeting. So he sets off. He doesn't want to be late.

Shortly before, really shortly before he gets there, maybe a five minute walk, it starts to rain. The bandages on his wrists don't get wet through the uniform, but the bandages around his eye? Well, the mask is over it but that doesn't really help.

In order not to get any more wet, Giyuu runs off. When he arrives at the property, the sliding doors are open and Himejima is already sitting in the large room. Giyuu walks towards the room, he stops on the covered porch and takes off his shoes.

He sits down a little away from the stone hashira. "Hello Himejima-san."
“Hello, Tomioka.”

“Hello” greets a new voice. Giyuu turns his head to the side and sees Uzui. Shinazugawa stands a little behind him.

“Hello,” Giyuu greets back. Uzui looks at him. "What happened to you?" he asks while pointing a finger at Giyuu.

“What do you mean?” Giyuu asks back. “Your eye.” Ahh yes. Um, well, it is like this. With this eye I have God equal abilities. But since none of you can know that, I connected it.

“I got a head injury during the last mission. It’s nothing bad,” he replies briefly and succinctly instead.

"Maybe you should go to the butterfly mansion," Shinazugawa says annoyed from his seat. “They have treated me many times. The two sisters there work for the organization as doctors and hunters. The older sister is even an aspiring Hashira.”

"Understand. Thanks. I’ll remember it.” There’s no way he’s going there. None of the people here have a chakra system. Just like a curse mark or Sharing, let alone a Rinnegan. Uzui looks at him suspiciously. Did he do anything to him?

As he listens to more conversations, Giyuu notices that he doesn't see Rengoku at all. “Has anyone seen Rengoku-san?” he asks the group.

“I have no idea where this guy is,” says the wind pillar in a rude tone. “He lost his wife a few years ago. She died because of an illness. Since then the guy has been drunk to the point where he can't drink anymore. His son probably wants to take his place as a pillar,” Uzui explains to him.

Giyuu just nods. Shortly afterwards, Oyakata-sama comes in. His illness has continued to spread. It looks like he is now almost blind in his right eye.

“Hello Oyakata-sama. I hope you are doing well,” greets the Sound Hashira. While everyone bows.

He sits down on a cushion in front of everyone. “Hello my children. It's nice to see you again. Please rise again,” he says. "I have to inform you that Shinjuro Rengoku has retired due to personal problems."

He looks over at Giyuu but doesn't say anything. “Then let’s start the meeting.”

=- End of the meeting

That was boring~. I feel sorry for Naruto and Kakashi. Especially Kakashi, there's definitely a lot of paperwork to process after the war, Giyuu thinks as the master walks out of the room.

Giyuu looks outside. It's still raining. Great. Shinazugawa immediately said goodbye because he had a mission. He turns to the other two people in the room and notices the sound pillar staring at him. Ehhh ok.

Just in time, Kanzaburo arrives with Farukon in tow. “A mission. I have a new mission.”

Giyuu stands up, says goodbye and puts his shoes back on. He lets the crow land on his arm and runs off.

"What's the mission?" Giyuu asks as he runs. The rain is slowly easing and the sun is coming out from behind the clouds.

“You have to go north. People disappear,” Kanzaburo crows.
Giyuu runs off. He carefully removes the wet bandages from his eye and puts on his mask.

=- After the mission

Giyuu is on his way back to the estate. It's early in the morning. The village wasn't far away and the demon was an easy game. A poorly controlled blood art and no knowledge of fighting.

Kanzaburo flew off to get a new mission. So it will take a while until the bird is back.

As he walks through the quiet forest, Tomioka wonders whether there are other dimensions in this universe and what they look like.

But he thinks it's a bad idea to even try to go to another dimension. This is not his universe. He could if he wanted to, but the risk is too high. In addition, some dimensions could be made by a demon blood art.

He will only use the portal in extreme emergencies. Only then.
