Man's way U! ZU! MA! KI!

Naruto never understood why he was like this, he tried in vain to understand why he could hear them all,

He clutched his ears tightly as the thoughts and feelings of hundreds of people swarmed his mind,

Anger, pain, sadness, lust, they fell over him like a dark shadow, one that he couldn't escape,

"Sh-shut up" he groaned at the voices, Then he stopped,

He took his hands off his ears, and listened, it was so quiet he could hear a pin drop, like something had shut up the voices,

Next he felt a sense of calmness, he was almost drawn to it, he pushed himself off the wall and followed the feeling,

He walked down the alleyway he'd hidden himself in, and look out at the gathered people, they all stared upwards as a rare sight, one of the Anbu had perched themselves on a roof,

It wasn't hard to figure out where the calm feeling came from,

Then another feeling came, it was so cold Naruto couldn't help but shiver,

'...Soon' Naruto's eyes went wide as he heard the voice of the Anbu, 'Soon the leaf will be saved from the Uchiha menace,' the anbu thought,

'Better get to it,' he thought and disappeared into the night,

Naruto's teeth clenched, 'S-save the leaf from the Uchiha? and that cold feeling,' he pushed out the alleyway and ran towards the Uchiha district, unaware that the Anbu he was following was actually watching him,

Naruto climbed the gates of the Uchiha district and hopped the fence, he had to get people up, before the anbu...

Naruto stopped as a sense of pride filled him, but was quickly snuffed out by anger, "What?" he asked, then that cold feeling seeped into him again,

"What are you doing here?" the voice of the anbu asked calmly from behind Naruto,

Naruto turned, and then froze as he saw the weasel masked anbu member covered in blood on the other side of the fence,

The Weasel masked anbu walked toward the young Uzumaki slashing through the lock on the gate, gently he pushed the gate open, "Come on little one, time for you to go home," he said,

"Y-you..." Naruto said stepping backwards, "You killed them?" he asked,

The weasel masked Anbu looked down at himself, "Oh... this?" he asked, "It's just tomato juice," he lied, "I'm making dinner," he said walking towards Naruto, 'As long as he doesn't wake Mikoto Uchiha I don't have to kill him,'

Naruto's eyes widened as he heard the thought, and the anbu thought of where Mikoto's house was,

"I... just have to... flip a coin in the well is all," Naruto said inching towards Mikoto's house,

The Anbu slowly walked towards him, "Is that all? here I can escort you home afterwards,"

"Th-thanks Naruto said as he turned, The weasel masked anbu had already moved to the well,

He waved over to him, "Here Naruto,"

The blonde swallowed nervously as he walked over to the killer,

"You're just trying to complete the Konoha well challenge right?" The Anbu asked, "Makes sense you'd come here last, the Uchiha and Hyuga wells are hard to get to aren't they?"

"Y-yeah," Naruto lied as he fished a coin from his pocket, he was so nervous he dropped it, but the anbu caught it,

"Got it," The killer said handing Naruto his coin, but then it slipped from his hand near a rock, "Sorry all the tomato juice makes my hands slippery,"

"I-It's f-fine," Naruto said as he grabbed the coin and the rock,

"Be careful not to lose the coin again," Naruto nodded at the man's words, "R-right, h-here goes,"

He flipped the coin into the well and the Anbu clapped, "Very good Naruto,"

Naruto's arm tensed and he threw the rock towards one of the windows, and was caught by the blood covered anbu, "Careful Naruto," The anbu said tossing the rock up and down, "You slipped and nearly broke a window," he closed his palm around the rock and crushed it, "Wouldn't want something bad to happen to you... now would you?" he said letting the dust slip through his fingers,

'That's it!' Naruto thought, he opened his mouth, "Ah!" he sniffled, "Ahhhh,"

"Here cover your-," As the Anbu reached into his pocket Naruto punched him in the nuts and ran by him,

Naruto pounded on the door, "WAKE UP! WAKE UP! YOU'RE ALL IN DANG-" and that was as far as he got as a blood covered hand slid over his mouth,

"That Naruto was a bad thing to do," as Naruto felt that cold feeling from the anbu his fear spiked,

The Anbu tossed him back towards the fountain,

Then the door behind him shot open, the Anbu leapt up and vanished, "Who's out here!?" A mature lady armed with wooden katana asked,

"The Nine Tailed brat?" A similarly armed mature man asked looking at Naruto,

The lady pointed the sword at Naruto, "Why are you here?"

"I-,"

"Get rid of it Mikoto," the man spat, "Something isn't right about this,"

The lady nodded sadly, "I... am sorry Uzumaki-san," she said raising the wooden sword, "I'll toss you somewhere soft,

Naruto felt anger from the man and guilt from the woman,

She walked over to him "Please try not to dodge, I'll only hurt you more if you do,"

As the mature man stepped outside the doorway and started to look around the woman raised the sword,

'Sorry Kushina' She thought as she closed her eyes, Naruto raised his arm but she was too fast and sent him down to the ground with one strike to his shoulder,

"He's out," Mikoto stated, "Mmm?" she looked at the end of her wooden sword, "He snapped the end off?"

Naruto forced himself onto his hands and knees, his fingers gripped around the part of the blade that he'd managed to snap off,

He forced himself up onto his feet, his shoulder was all bloody, "An a-anbu here is trying to kill you both, s-sorry for the intrusion," he said,

"An anbu? ridiculous," the man stated, "You're just crying for attention," Naruto felt anger coming from behind the man, his eyes widened and he rushed towards him, "Coming after me eh brat? I won't be as nice as Mikoto wa-," He stopped as Naruto ran past him and tried to punch thin air,

Then the blood covered Anbu appeared out of thin air dropping onto the the entry way of the house,

"An anbu?" Mikoto asked,

"Weasel? what are you doing out so late?" Fugaku asked,

". . ." Weasel said nothing, he drew his sword, its blade glinting in the dim moonlight, he dashed forward blade aimed forward,

"Good man Weasel," Fugaku said with pride unaware of his true target, 'It's better to put him down and get a better, more loyal Jinjuriki,'

Mikoto's heart sank, 'I... can't move, Kushina please help me save him!'

Naruto moved into the path of Weasel's strike,

Time seemed to slow down as Naruto raised the small wooden blade piece barely big enough to be a handle,

'Wait he wasn't aiming for the brat,' came from the man,

'He was going for Fugaku?' came from the woman,

But most surprisingly was the thoughts that came from the anbu, 'No Naruto you weren't supposed to move, I can't stop my momentum,'

As death neared Naruto his fear rose again and with it his chakra spiked, a vibrant red blade rose from out of the sword piece which clashed with Weasel's sword,

"What?" they all said as the swords metal and chakra clashed,

Weasel was pushed back as the chakra blade pulsed,

He flipped in mid air and landed on his feet while Naruto took in the red blade that had sprouted from a simple broken wooden sword, "What is this?" He asked,

'A blade of pure chakra?' Mikoto thought, 'It's like what wind specialists can do with their weapons, but there's no wind chakra in it, it's just the fox's chakra shaped into a blade,'

'It's unrefined and jagged, but I've never seen such a technique before, perhaps I should allow this ruffian into my home like Mikoto has been begging,' Fugaku thought, 'It would seem I need a new soldier,' he glared at Weasel,

Weasel himself removed his anbu mask and tossed it onto the ground giving a bright smile to Naruto, "Naruto you've made a new technique all on your own," he praised, "That's so amazing,"

"Wh-why are you praising me?" Naruto asked pointing the sword at the proud murderer,

"Why?" he asked with a chuckle, "cause what you've done is simply amazing," he flicked out his blade and charged toward the blonde, two more Weasel's appeared out of twin puffs of smoke and charged with him,

"Easy boy," Fugaku said putting a hand on Naruto's shoulder, but underneath his gentle tone Naruto could hear his thoughts, 'I'll use that he saved me to explain why I'll be so nice to him from now on, with that technique the Uchiha will rule, who cares if we have to act as a family, I'll do anything to make sure the Uchiha is on top forever,' he looked at Naruto, 'Even make a deal with the devil itself,'

Mikoto felt happy, 'Fugaku seems to have warmed up to Naruto, maybe I could convince him to take Naruto in now?' she thought as she joined the two of them,

The three Weasels drew closer and then suddenly Naruto was grabbed by one, "Wha-,"

Mikoto was sent reeling back by a kick, both watched as Fugaku tried slashing at one of the clones but they avoided his attack and as he ended up between him they both tried stabbing him, but he avoided the blades but was trapped between them,

Both Clones exploded, then the remaining Weasel turned into a murder of crows and they swarmed Fugaku, one pierced him with a sword,

"F-Fugaku!" Mikoto cried,

Naruto watched as the anbu reformed holding the sword, The anbu pulled the sword out and then sliced off the head off the falling body, 'Goodbye father, you weren't a great man, but I am sorry it came to this,' he thought as he watched the body and head hit the ground, 'If only I could've talked you out of the coup,' he kicked dirt onto the body, then he sighed, "Because of you Naruto I've only been able to kill twenty of them,"

"T-twenty?" Naruto asked, his blade vanishing as the shock broke his concentration, "In one night?"

"Don't worry mother," The Anbu said pointing his blade at Mikoto, "You'll join father soon,"

"Itachi?" Mikoto asked, "Why?!"

"Father?" Naruto asked looking at the body of the man Itachi just killed, "Y-YOU KILLED YOUR OWN FATHER?!" the orphan asked,

"I wish I didn't have to," The young man said gently before he started walking toward the two of them, "But for the sake of the leaf I have to kill them is all," he stated simply,

"Is all?" Mikoto asked, "Are we nothing more to you?"

"Your words hurt me mother," Itachi stated,

The two stood up as he approached, "I am sorry for killing you both, and Sasuke, but I have to protect Konoha,"

Itachi stopped as from the sky people came,

Hiruzen Sarutobi walked in between them, he gazed sadly at the scene, "Itachi?" he asked,

Itachi's eyes widened, "Sir?" he asked, "What are you doing here?"

"I...What?" Sarutobi asked, "Because an Anbu has gone rogue,"

Itachi frowned, "They have?" he asked, "Are they here?"

Hiruzen shot the Uchiha a concerned look, "Itachi... son are you okay?"

Itachi nodded, "Of course I am Sir," he stated, "I've just got to complete my mission and then I'll help with that rogue anbu,"

Hiruzen frowned, "And... what is your mission?"

"Saving Konoha from the Uchiha menace sir," Itachi answered, "Unfortunately because of Naruto here I haven't been able to kill more then only twenty,"

Hiruzen nodded, "I... see," he frowned, "Son, maybe we should continue this at my office?"

Itachi narrowed his eyes at Hiruzen, "Sir... you... you're not one of them are you?"

"One of... who?" Hiruzen asked,

"The Uchiha sympathisers!" Itachi stated, "The Second Hokage considered that the Uchiha were all cursed since birth, unable to even get along with anyone else of another clan,"

Hiruzen shook his head, "Itachi... You're an Uchiha, and as much I I respected him the second Hokage's views on the Uchiha were twisted due to the constant fighting between the Senju and Uchiha, his opinion on them are just bitter feelings towards those he considered an enemy,"

"And I'm sorry for being born cursed," he stated with a frown, "And as much as I want to believe that my father proved them to be true," he said, "He was attempting a coup to seize power,"

Mikoto's eyes went wide, "Wh-what?"

Hiruzen's eyes narrowed, "There were other ways to-,"

"You are a sympathiser," Itachi stated sadly, he sighed, "I guess I'll have to run then,"

"QUICK!" Hiruzen shouted as Itachi dropped a smoke bomb and then several crows swarmed out of the smoke, "DON'T LET HIM ESCAPE!"

The Anbu and Hiruzen leapt off following the crows,

Mikoto frowned as she watched Her son escape, then her eyes went to her recently deceased husband, "Fugaku" she said,

Her eyes went wide as she remembered the young boy, she looked around but he was gone, 'He's gone?' she asked,

Naruto took several deep breaths as he stopped running through the forest, eventually he stopped and placed his back against a tree, he breathed heavily and looked down at the blade piece, "I..." his grip tightened around the piece, 'I can fight too' he thought,

OCTOPUS-Several weeks later-OCTOPUS

Though it had only been a few weeks since Itachi's murders Naruto had changed massively, he'd abandoned the jumpsuit and donned a thin open orange jacket and pants, grown his hair out into a pompadour style, and he'd started gaining musculature, he wore some binding on his lower chest and bandages on his arms, emboldened by what many people considered his battle with Itachi Uchiha unaware that he'd barely fought him at all,

But since some people had started calling him the Saviour of The Uchiha clan, he figured he needed to look the part,

And currently he was running like a mad man away from multiple ninja, "Leave me alone you damn menaces!" He shouted as he ran down an alleyway,

"Lady Mikoto requests the presence of Naruto Uzumaki, Saviour Of The Uchiha Clan," The said in unison,

"Well tell her Naruto Uzumaki requests her to get a hobby other then waiting for you guys to catch me!" he shot back,

One at the entrance opened her arms to try and grab him, "You'll be able to tell her yourself soon," she said,

Naruto slid underneath her reach,

"Nice move," She said as she joined the chase for him,

Naruto looked around, 'Gotta loose them,' he saw the Yamanaka flower shop and ran inside and shut the door, he dashed past the register and ran through the shop, "Can I go out the back? thanks," he said to the woman who ran the register before he pulled the door open and continued running,

As he continued running into the crowded market he took the sword piece out of his makeshift hilt and flicked out a blue blade he ran forward and stabbed it into the ground, "SWORD GET LONGER!" He roared extending the blade making him shoot up into the air before he stop pouring chakra into the hilt of his sword, then as he fell in mid air he raised the hilt upwards and started spinning it with one hand before he made another blade,

"BULLSHIT ESCAAAAAAAAAAAPE!" he grinned as despite all laws of physics him spinning his sword carried him higher into the air, "Hahaha like the new technique?" he asked with a laugh as he flew into the air,

The gathered ninja watched in awe as he span his sword carrying him around in mid air,

Quickly they started clapping, "As expected of the Uchiha clan's saviour," one stated,

"Damn proud of you," another spoke,

"He's just so amazing," a third said with tears in her eyes as she clapped,

Naruto frowned, 'How quickly things change,' he thought shaking his head until he flew right into a sign, "Oof" he cried before he started sliding down it,

In the alleyway he should've dropped in the gathered Ninja came into, they looked around, but found no trace of him,

"He must've ran already," one said, "Scatter quickly, We have to find him for Lady Mikoto," and the ninja vanished,

After a few moments one of the dustbins opened slowly, seeing the coast was clear Naruto rolled out of it, "Phew," he said, "Escaping from them is getting harder and harder," he complained as he tried to pop his back,

Failing that though he groaned, 'Can't believe that lady's still after me,' he thought, 'Can't she just take a hint and let me go?' he sighed and walked out of the alleyway,

He sheathed his sword's hilt and pulled up his collar, maybe I should start dressing less conspicuously?" he asked, he shoved his hands in his pockets and started walking around,

As usual the feelings swarmed him, while the Uchiha clan's opinion of him had changed he was still vastly disliked everywhere else, thus the feelings he got from the ninja of care, and joy, turned to the civilian's feelings of hate and annoyance,

He could hear them muttering about him, glaring at him, though with the absolute reverence the Uchiha now had for him none of them would do anything towards him, even price gouging stopped after the entire Uchiha clan started boycotting any store that would attempt to gouge the boy, leaving many shops in Konoha to shut down,

The Uchiha were famous for being warriors after all, a comment from an Uchiha warrior about a poorly made sword had the power to shut down blacksmiths, and they used their sway to it's full advantage now,

It also helped that many were Konoha's police force, the idea of an Uchiha looking the other way while something bad was happening to a store because they'd done wrong to their saviour, while it had never actually happened, the fear was always there,

Regardless Naruto waked through the streets with no fear keeping his feeling radar out for anyone who worshipped him, hoping this time he'd be fast enough to avoid them entirely,

He stopped as a familiar feeling spread out from an abandoned building, 'Guilt... regret, loneliness, and shame?' Naruto sighed, 'Guess I should see if I can help,' he said as he started walking towards it,

As he got closer he started to hear sobbing, He walked inside but there was nobody on the ground floor, he looked around and found some stairs, he started walking up them and as he got to the top he saw a sobbing blonde haired girl who had her hair in large pigtails holding onto herself, she looked up though she had her eyes shut tears ran down her face, "Please... j-just go away,"

Naruto sighed, 'I never do know how to explain myself,' he scratched the back of his head, "Look I can't just leave you here cryi-,"

"Go. away." she reiterated her anger rising,

Naruto frowned, "Lady I'm sorry if I'm bothering you but-,"

"Fine," she spat as she got to her feet, she pulled a phone out of her pocket with a multitude of phone charms dangling from it, she took a pink cat like one and pulled it somehow extending it's chain, "You want to stay? then I'll show you why that's a bad idea!" she spat swinging the charm's cord around as if it was a flail,

Though Naruto doubted the charm was actually all that dangerous the sound of it cutting the air terrified him, his hand neared his makeshift scabbard and pulled his hilt out, "Don't do this lady" he warned,

"You wanna play games?" she asked angrily, "CATCH!" swinging the charm at him, Naruto dodged out of the way of the charm and was thankful as it smashed the wall behind him,

With ease the young lady pulled the charm out of the wall and resumed spinning it,

Naruto looked at the large hole in the wall and quickly put chakra into his hilt forming his sword, he flicked out the blade and took a stance,

"We don't have to do this,"

"Why scared that I'm finally fighting back?" she asked as she swung the charm around like a mad woman, First he dodged under a wide swing, then he blocked a glancing blow, the blonde woman span around and the charm tore through the ground and he jumped over it, the woman smirked and quickly pulled the charm back over to her, then she threw it at Naruto directly sending him flying through a wall, "How's that taste?" She laughed,

She stomped forward sending the ball through the hole in the wall his body had busted through, "Where'd you go?" she asked, "We were having fun till I started kicking your ass right?" Naruto got onto his feet and charged though the hole,

"There you are, we're gonna keep playing right?" she asked, "You didn't stop when I didn't like it,"

He ducked under a wide swing, "When you all put bugs in my hair, or laughed at how week I was, well who's laughing now?" she asked,

Naruto felt her anger rise, but it wasn't aimed at him anymore, he made an effort to make it seem like he was having trouble dodging her as her moves started getting sloppier, "You just loooved making fun of me, I was always the punching bag cause I was so weak," she raged tossing the charm at him rapidly,

'If I wasn't trying not to die this girl would be so amazing,' he thought as she pulled the charm back so fast after every throw it looked like she was throwing multiple charms,

"My eyes, my hair, my accent, my weapon, my hobbies, my lack of strength," she raged as she started spinning the charm,

Naruto looked at the holes in the wall, 'Lack of strength?' Naruto thought, 'Whoever said she was weak must've been some kinda monster,'

She charged at him and Naruto wanting to make it look like he was still trying to fight her charged forward too, she reeled her arm back looking like she was about to strike and he readied to block it,

A bright flash from her phone blinded him, "My eyes!" And then she stomped down on his stomach sending him down,

Tears poured down the girls face as she swung the charm around above him, "Why?," she asked, "Why!" she demanded, he noticed her legs trembled slightly and then she let go of her phone and weapon as she dropped onto him and sobbed, "Whhhhhhhhyyyyyyyy!?" she wailed, "Why didn't you all believe me?!" she sobbed rubbing her eyes,

"I didn't kill anyone, but you all still left me," she wailed,

Naruto let out a breath, 'Thought I was dead for a second there,' he thought, he stopped using his blade and sheathed the handle, "Easy," he said, trying his best to pat her shoulder though he only seemed to reach her arm,

His attempt didn't go unnoticed however and the girl opened her eyes showing him her gorgeous crimson irises, "It's okay," he said, "I won't leave you to be lonely,"

Her face scrunched up and she wrapped her arms around him sobbing into his shoulder,

He just patted her back gently, "I'm here," he said trying to soothe her,

She sobbed for a while, and unknowingly to Naruto someone had caught the girls weapon,

"Can't let you break," Hiruzen said before he turned to one of his anbu, "Here," he handed them the bright pink phone with numerous charms attached, "Put this somewhere that it looks like it could've landed naturally, and make sure nobody can take it,"

"Sir" the anbu said quietly, the Anbu made a tree sprout out of the ground and hung the weapon on one of the branches, then quickly they vanished, or so it appeared,

Naruto continued trying to soothe the girl but she quickly realised her phone was missing, "My phone?" she realised patting herself all over, "My weapon," she gripped her head, "I gotta find it, I'm defenceless without it,"

As soon as she shakily moved off Naruto, the blonde jumped up to his feet, "Here I saw it go out of the window,"

"AHHHHHH" the girl shrieked, "It'll be broke!" she ran over to him and shoved him out of the way then she let out a sigh of relief, "it looks like it managed to hook onto that tree,"

"Tree?" Naruto asked, then he saw the tree, "Oh that one," he said,

The girl climbed through the window giving him an eyeful of the upside of her skirt causing him to blush and look away, "Sh-shouldn't we take the stairs?" he asked but she dropped out of the window,

She landed easily on the ground as if it didn't bother her, "And she's supposed to be weak?" he asked before he turned around and took the stairs,

When he got outside he started blushing again as the girl was jumping trying to grab her phone making her skirt raise up, "this girl," he sighed,

He took off his jacket and put it on her shoulders, "Easy, I've got this," he said lightly pushing her aside,

He took his hilt out and with a blast of chakra he sliced right through the tree branch, which then fell on his head, "Owch!" he cried while the girl grabbed her phone and started inspecting it,

"Hey it's like not even cracked," she said with a wide smile closing her eyes again,

"My skull is," he whined

She turned to him and gave a bright smile, "Like thanks weird guy,"

He smiled back and pushed the tree off his head, "It's cool," he said standing up, then he gasped in pain as his ribs started hurting, "oof," he groaned rubbing his ribs, "Feels like you got me pretty good,"

"Are you okay?" she asked, "W-wait..." she gave him a sad expression, "Why'd you help me?" she asked, "I kicked your ass like you were some kinda chump before," Naruto flinched at her harsh words,

"Like you're really weak," then he fell to his knees,

He sniffled, "J-just cause y-your some kinda monster strong woman d-don't mean I'm weak,"

"No I'm pretty sure you're just weak," she said bluntly,

Naruto felt an arrow made of her words pierce him,

"Actually I was the weakest shinobi where I came from, so you're even weaker then the weakest,"

An Arrow with WEAKEST joined an Arrow with WEAK,

"Like it's kinda funny how weak you are,"

A FUNNY arrow joined the others,

"And It's weird how much of a pushover you are,"

A golden heart shaped arrow with PUSHOVER on it joined the others,

"And your hair-,"

The Arrows disintegrated and Naruto stood up, a pink skinned robotlike man with heart shaped silver roman styled armour, in the background people sang 'Breakdown, Breakdown'

"Ehhh?!" Naruto asked radiating a terrifying aura, "What did you say about my totally super fly awesome hairdo?" he asked cracking his knuckles,

"Totally super fly?" she asked snorting, "Who talks like th-," Naruto sliced the tree in half vertically, a loud cracking sound rang out as he twisted his body,

"I asked-" he glared at her, "-who made fun of my totally super fly awesome haird-" and then he fell over

The girl crouched over him, "You okay?" she asked,

"I th-think" he groaned out, "I just popped everything in my body at once, or I broke something," then he looked up at her face, "Y-you know you're wearing a skirt right?"

"Yeah," she said obliviously,

"Okay, and you're crouched over me with your legs spread wide apart," he said,

"Well how else am I supposed to crouch?" she asked,

He closed his eyes, " Jeezalou lady I can see your pant-" he gasped as something else popped,

The blonde lady giggled, "Silly boy I'm not wearing pants," she said picking him up with one arm, "I'm Yuki by the way," she said tossing him onto her shoulder roughly, popping more of his body as she did, "I'd better get you to a hospital, especially since you helped me earlier,"

Unfortunately for Naruto the bouncy way Yuki walked actually caused more damage to his body, and then there's the fact she kept taking selfies and pictures on her phone, often bumping him into stuff while she was trying to pose herself for her photo's,

Had this story written for a while to be posted when I had nothing else to post or something like that,
