A Fox Out of Its Box

Sasuke laid in his bed several hours later, a miniature sculpture of a fox in his palm. The wooden engraved animal was depicted in a seated position, its ears held back, and pupils were more horizontal than normal. The sculpture had no color, only the brown wood that it was made from. Sasuke thought about how he opened the black package, he and his aunt eager to see inside only to find this small statue.

Pointless- Sasuke thought and he set the fox down on his nightstand to move to his computer and start his late-night games, drowning out the impending responsibilities of school and his early morning counseling session.
