Chapter 4
~~~3 Years Later~~~
Fugaku was giddy, the Omega had given birth to his youngest Pup just 7 months ago, his best friend now being able to meet him.
Almost an hour passed while he was getting the small lounge area upstairs ready for Minato's arrival, Kushina and Naruto tagging along as Kushina had to attend a, meeting, that was twenty minutes away from the Uchiha Estate.
"Relax, Fugaku," Mikoto scolded, "They will be here in due time." The Omega nodded. "Sorry."
"Just calm down." She huffed, Fugaku nodded again and sat down, his knee bouncing as he fidgeted with his fingers.
It was just as Mikoto went to scold him that the doorbell rang, Fugaku jumping to his feet as he rushed to greet their guests.
"Minato, Kushina! I'm so glad you could make it." The brunette smiled. Naruto, who was in Kushina's arms, turned to the Omega's voice and waved.
"Such a precious baby." He giggled, wiggling his fingers back, hugging Minato then pulling away, going to hug Kushina as Naruto gestured to be passed to his mother.
Once they pulled away, Mikoto shook hands with the blond Omega and the Alpha. "Fugaku," she turned to her Omega, "Kushina and I will be having a meeting." Fugaku smiled and nodded.
"Alright, we'll be upstairs with Sasuke." Mikoto nodded and the two Alpha walked away. Minato pursed his lips. "You two doing okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, work's been a bit stressful, Hiashi is pushing for that project to be done, plus, her Rut is in a month, which I can't help her through since I'm still healing and can't risk a pregnancy right now, and she hasn't had a Rut alone since we married, so, I guess she's stressed she'll come hunting for me if we stay in the same place." He explained.
Minato nodded. "Understandable, you're always welcome to stay with us if you need to." Fugaku smiled. "Thanks Mina, I'll think about it, now come, I'm so excited for you to meet my little Moonbug."
Once they were upstairs Fugaku gestured for the blond to hand Naruto over. "He's in his crib, you can pick him up." Minato did as Fugaku said and picked the raven haired baby up.
"Wow, he's got a lot of hair." He chuckled. Fugaku chuckled. "He does, the heartburn he gave me was quite bad." Minato hummed.
Fugaku put Naruto down on the sofa, making sure his back was supported by the back rest of the couch. Minato then offered for him to take his Pup back, but the brunette Omega shook his head.
"You can do it. I put him down, so you can put Sasuke down." He smiled. Minato nodded with a small smile of his own before settling the younger Pup in his own Pups arms, Minato stood behind him to make sure he wouldn't accidentally dripdrop the baby.
The adults watched as the two Pups stared at each other for a few minutes, barely blinking more than two or three times a minute. Soon enough, Naruto started nuzzling his head softly.
"Do you think they could be Mates?" Fugaku asked. Minato hummed. "It is a big possibility." The blond looked at Fugaku.
"You did well, he doesn't seem to be in pain or anything." The brunette smiled. "Thank you, Minato."
A few minutes later, Sasuke's onyx eyes fluttered shut as he relaxed in Naruto's arms, which tightened slightly, he let out a soft rumble, one he'd only reserved for his mother, he also made a show of petting the Uchiha Pups hair, and Sasuke let out quiet purrs in response. "Kawaii." The two Omega's giggled with each other.
"Do you have him Naruto-Kun?" Fugaku asked. The almost one-year-old glared at the Uchiha Omega and growled before he hummed and nuzzled the top of Sasuke's head, essentially making Sasuke bury his face into his neck. The brunette smiled. "Okay. You take good care of him, Naruto."
The Omega stood up and moved to sit on the opposite end of the couch, to make sure they didn't accidentally fall off and Minato smiled. "I think they are Mates, but I guess we'll have to see when Sasuke turns one."
Fugaku nodded. "I'm glad it went well." He said. Minato nodded. "Yeah, I agree. But, he's silly." Fugaku's head tilted.
"How so?" Minato giggled. "Naruto's glare, for one. It's almost as if he's daring anyone to hurt Sasuke."
The Uchiha Pup chirped when he heard his name, squirming slightly. Naruto only grunted and cuddled the Pup closer to his body. Sasuke didn't mind it, he was used to being cuddled almost to death by Itachi.
The two adults smiled at the two Pups. "Do you have any thoughts about any of this?" Minato asked the brunette. "I believe that they've already established a strong bond. Soon, it might even become a mental one."
Minato hummed. "Yeah, I'm glad that they have each other and that they've established such a bond together already." Fugaku nodded in agreement.
"It will be good for any future troubles that may arise." Minato looked towards the Omega.
"Are you having any troubles?" Fugaku shook his head.
"No, we've kept the day of Sasuke's birth a secret. He was born at 28 weeks, 7 weeks shy of where Tekka wanted." The Uzumaki's eyes widened. "He doesn't have any long-lasting health issues, does he?"
Fugaku shook his head 'no'. "He has trouble breathing if he lies on his back for too long sometimes, because his lungs aren't completely developed but Tekka says that there's only a 20% chance that he'll have severe asthma when he's older," Minato nodded, "He also said that if Sasuke feeds as regularly as he does then he'll be able to get his lungs completely developed with all the nutrients that he gets from my milk. Knowing that Pup, I don't doubt it." Minato's brows raised. "Oh?" Fugaku giggled.
"Yes, he's almost always ready to feed. I'll feed him, put him down for a nap, which he's good at." Minato's head tilts, "Really?" Fugaku nodded.
"He only wakes up every 3 hours, but he sleeps right through them even when Itachi is making such a noise, so when he wakes up, he'll be ready to eat again." Minato chuckled.
"It's also a sign of a healthy Pup. Naruto was almost the same, only, he wouldn't eat if Kushina was in the room, that was until he was, I'd say, around 7 months old."
Fugaku let out a surprised 'oh?'. "Mito said that it's probably because Naruto's a little territorial over me. I don't know, honestly. I don't really understand it, but it's cute sometimes." The blond perked.
"He also said his first word today." Fugaku hummed. "I'm guessing it was 'Mama'?" Minato nodded. "Yes, Kushina gave me a kiss and Naruto tried pushing her away, saying 'Mama. My.' It was so cute." Fugaku chuckled.
"Kushina's got some competition, don't she?" The blond guffawed. "That is exactly what I said." The two chuckled, looking at their respective Pups.
Sasuke was fast asleep and so was Naruto, although the blond Pup still had his hand in Sasuke's hair. They were both rumbling and purring softly. "I think we should leave them to nap a little, no?" Minato asked.
"Yeah. Sasuke was up late last night. Almost as if he knew about you guys coming here." Fugaku said. "I think he could understand you a little. Did you use Naruto's name a lot?" Fugaku nodded.
"Pretty much. You think he understood because they might be Mates?" Minato shrugged. "It sounds believable."
"I think we're going to be here for a few hours, tea?" Minato nodded. "Please." Fugaku got up and walked to the door. "Hitomi?" "Yes, My Lady?" A Beta woman stood in the hallway. "If you could make a pot of ginseng, please."
The purple haired Beta nodded. "Of course, My Lady." She left the room and soon returned with the pot of tea and a set of China cups. "Thank you, Hitomi." She nodded. "Of course, My Lady."
~~~4 months later~~~
Sasuke sniffled softly. He'd just begun to crawl around, and he'd accidentally banged his head against the hard wood of the table in the middle of the living room.
His mother found him crying and had rushed to calm him down. It didn't take much to calm the Pup down, it only took a little scenting and physical affection or contact to calm his cries, luckily, he hadn't started bleeding.
Today would be Naruto's birthday celebration, the Uzumaki couple celebrating it a month later as Minato's father wasn't able to attend the actual day, due to being overseas for a meeting.
Sasuke could feel the happiness swirling around in his chest. He didn't know why his blond Mate was happy, but it felt nice knowing he was feeling like that.
Fugaku had Sasuke dressed in a soft pair of pants and a button up shirt in a similarly soft material. Mikoto walked into the room and walked over towards the changing table where the Omega was rubbing some cream into the Pups soft skin.
"Are you ready to go?" The Alpha asked. Fugaku hummed and rubbed his index finger up the bottom of Sasuke's foot. The Pup whined and his leg jerked away from the offending finger, but his mother only smirked. "Yeah, give me a few more minutes. Is Itachi ready?"
Mikoto hummed. "He didn't want to wear shoes, but I told him that you'd stop giving him dango." Fugaku sighed. "He's at that age." Fugaku giggled, bending down and blowing some raspberries onto the Pups foot and Sasuke burst out in loud baby laughs, trying to squirm away from his mother.
Fugaku giggled, giving him a kiss on his forehead before putting soft socks on his tiny feet and giving a kiss to each socked foot. "I just need to make sure I have enough for a bottle for him, his pacifier and then we can go."
Mikoto draped herself on top of the Omega, being careful on not letting all her wait hang on him. "I already made sure that there's enough formula for at least 8 bottles for him for at least a few hours and his extra pacifiers are packed on the left side of the diaper bag." Fugaku sighed.
"Thanks. Can you grab his pacifier for me, please?" Mikoto handed the Omega said pacifier. "I grabbed it on the way in." The Omega chuckled. "Smart Alpha." Fugaku offered the Pup the pacifier and Sasuke took it, placing it in his mouth with a hum.
Fugaku clipped the pacifiers clip to the hem of the Pups shirt, and he pecked Mikoto's lips. "Let me go to the bathroom and then we can go, is his carrier ready?" Mikoto nodded. "Thank you, Mikoto." "Of course, My Love."
Fugaku smiled. 'It's been a while since she's called me that, maybe since Hitomi left a while ago helped.' He shook his head. 'No time for those thoughts.'
Once Fugaku had finished his business and washed his hands, he peeked into Sasuke's nursery and didn't see the Pup. He heard said Pups giggles and he smiled. He walked down the hall and into the living room. He took out his phone and took a quick picture.
Mikoto was sitting in her usual seat on the couch, and Itachi sat to her left. Sasuke was sitting on the Alpha's lap, giggling his head off at Itachi who was making funny faces at the Pup. When he saw the Omega, he squealed and made grabby hands for his mother.
Mikoto chuckled. "Are you ready to go?" Fugaku smiled at his youngest Pup, kissed his eldest's forehead and nodded at the Alpha. "We can go, and Itachi." The Pup looked up at him. "Mama?" The Omega smirked. "Go put on your shoes." Itachi whined.
"But Mama-" Fugaku shook his head. "No Itachi, no buts or no dango for you forever." Itachi gasped. "I go, Mama!" He ran off to the genkan. "You always know when to get him to put his shoes on."
The Omega smirked. "Just threaten to take away his dango and he'll do whatever you want." "I'm done Mama!" Itachi called from the front of the house.
Fugaku gave Mikoto's cheek a peck before walking to Itachi. "Good boy, Itachi. If you behave well tonight, I'll see if I can get you an extra dango." The Pup looked up at him. "Okay, Mama." He nodded seriously. Fugaku smiled. "Good boy. Come now, Mikoto." He said. "I'm coming, Love."

The party had just ended and Fugaku held a sleepy, nursing, Sasuke against his chest in Naruto's room. Sasuke had whimpered when the Omega tried to feed him in one of the spare rooms, but it seemed the Pup only wanted his Mates scent.
Itachi had also gone home with Obito, seeing as they, Obito, had wanted a sleepover. Fugaku was hesitant, as Itachi didn't have a pair of comfortable clothes but Kagami, Obito's mother, had reassured him that they had a few pairs of Itachi's spare clothes that he'd forgotten there.
"Hmm." Sasuke whined. Fugaku leaned down and kissed the Pups forehead. "What's wrong, baby?" Sasuke brought his hand up and placed it on the Omega's cheek, rubbing the skin softly.
Fugaku chuckled, bringing a finger up and stroking up and down the Pups nose. "Hm." Sasuke hummed, closing his eyes, his suckling soft. The Omega rocked the rocking chair, humming softly as he ate.
Once the Pup finished eating, Fugaku burped him and sat back down in the rocking chair, rocking it again and humming a soft lullaby, offering Sasuke his pacifier, which he took and shoved into his mouth.
When the Omega heard the Pups soft snores he got up and made sure he had everything before he walked out of the room and down to the living room.
Naruto had also been fed but he wasn't asleep yet. Fugaku placed his Pup on the couch and Minato did the same. They watched as Naruto cuddled up to the Pup and he soon fell asleep.
"They're so kawaii." Kushina said softly, as not to wake the Pups up. "Mm." Mikoto agreed. "Tea?" Minato asked. "Please." Mikoto said. "I'll come help you." Fugaku murmured. Minato nodded and the pairs Alpha's looked at each other. Mikoto hummed and Kushina huffed a soft laugh.
The red head shrugged. 'Omega.'
Mikoto rolled her eyes as she replied. 'Why did I even bother to ask? Of course, Omega always flock together.'
"Are you two done with your eye conversation?" Minato asked.
Kushina let out a tiny- Alphan- squeak and Mikoto smiled. "Of course." The two Omega looked at each other before they shrugged. "If you say so." Fugaku hummed.
The tea was poured into each of the four China cups and the four friends sat quietly, watching the Pups sleep. All of a sudden, the four heard noises. "You guys hear that?"
Fugaku nodded. "Yeah, sound like something's going on outside."
"Most likely just the older Alpha teaching the younger ones some manners." Kushina said, just as she was going to call for a worker, the door slammed open.
"Kushina-Sama!" The person exclaimed. "We need to get you all out of here!" The Alpha stood up. "Sakumo? What is going on?" The white-haired Alpha panted. "Kaguya. She's here," he panted, "She's here for the Pups." The four looked at each other, and Kushina stood up.
"Minato, take Fugaku and the Pups down to the cellar. You'll be safe there." The blond looked ready to protest before he nodded.
"Come Fugaku." The brunette Omega nodded, pecking Mikoto's lips. "Be safe." He didn't wait for the Alpha to reply, turning and gently picking the Pups up and following the blond out the door.
