Chapter 2
When Fugaku woke, he felt like his body was both on fire and completely numb. It wasn't anything new, no, but it had never been this bad. The Omega could make out his Alpha friends grey hair as his head bobbed sideways.
"Fugaku!" The Alpha breathed out, "I was so worried. You've been out for a few days, we nearly lost you." The Omega blinked as he listened to what the grey haired man had to say. His vision was blurry, but he got his vision to somewhat focus on Sakumo.
"What?" He croaked. The Alpha sniffled.
"Don't you dare scare me like that again, Fugaku." He grunted. Fugaku hummed before he snorted, muttering an 'awoop, jump scare' underneath his breath.
"Now's not the time to be funny, Fugaku! I honestly shouldn't have shown you that." Sakumo snorted around a sob.
"S'rry," The Omega murmured, "S'rry." He repeated, his brows furrowed. "Where's y'r Pup?" He asked the man. Said man looked at the Omega in a way that could only describe pure confusion.
"I don't have one, Fugaku." The Omega frowned.
"I could'a sworn y' had 'ne," He whispered, "Prob'ly the meds." He continued.
Sakumo frowned before smiling at his best friend.
"Yeah... I think it's the meds." The brunette licked his lips, swallowing the saliva that had gathered down and closed his eyes.
"S'rry Saku-" Fugaku cleared his throat and closed his eyes, "S'rry." He opened his eyes and looked at the Alpha, "An' thanks, Sakumo." He closed his eyes again and tilted his head to face the ceiling, watching the fan swirling around in the air, falling into sleep easily. Sakumo smiled.
"No problem, Fugaku. Anything for my friend, just don't scare me like that again." He sighed.
"Better get some rest myself." He stood up, kissed the Omega's forehead, and walked to his own private quarters. 'I wonder what the hell his Wolf made him see, he is from the direct line so...' He thought to himself. 'I wonder, guess we just gotta wait to find out.'
~~~~~~
The next time Fugaku saw Mikoto, it had been a week after the Alpha almost beat him to death. Said Alpha had stumbled through their bedroom door just after midnight, startling the Omega as he shot up.
"Mikoto?" He said quietly, his voice raspy, eyes narrow as he switched the lamp on with a quiet 'click' and got up, cautiously walking up to the Alpha.
"What's wrong, Alpha?" He whispered. The raven haired Alpha looked up at him from where she was leaning on the door frame.
"Omega." She blurted out, Fugaku squeaking in surprise, his eyes widening.
"Alpha." He replied.
"What?" The Alpha looked around the room in confusion. Fugaku moved to stand a little closer to the ravenette, tilting his head slightly.
Mikoto tracked his movements sluggishly, standing straighter as he got closer, just shy of a meter or two. She looked into his eyes as he stared up at her in apprehension. She tilted her head slightly.
"Omega." She started to stumble towards the Omega, Fugaku squeaked in surprise rushing to catch the Alpha as she stumbled.
"Careful Alpha." He whispered, Mikoto squirmed to stand straight, not really successful, but she still towered over the Omega. The Alpha's dark eyes stared into the Omega's own, before traveling down the Omega's face.
Fugaku stared up at the Alpha, noticing her eyes stopping on his cheek and narrowing, tilting her head. Mikoto lifted her hand sluggishly, pressing it against the Omega's face.
"'Mega, wha' 'appened?" She slurred, the brunettes eyes widened as he realised where the Alpha's hand rested.
"O-Oh," he squeaked, "I-I-" Mikoto growled.
"Wazzit Sak'mo?" Fugaku's eyes grew impossibly wider.
"N-No!" He squeaked. Mikoto didn't seem to hear him as she turned around and almost face planted into the tatami flooring, only falling onto her hands and knees. "M-Mikoto," He fell down onto his knees and let his hand fall onto the ravenette's shoulder, "I-It wasn't Sakumo." He whispered, "Come," He stood up and helped the Alpha stand, "L-Let's go to bed."
Mikoto let Fugaku steer her towards the bed, the lamp casting a soft glow over the Omega's features.
The Alpha watched as the Omega fussed over her and tucked her into bed. Her eyes trailed over his body as he bent slightly to switch the lamp off. She growled when she saw more splotches of yellow, green and purple.
"Omega." Fugaku squeaked, turning startled eyes at the Alpha.
"M-Mikoto?" He whispered, obviously startled. She put her hand over the Omega's bruises, frowning deeply.
"Who?" Fugaku's eyes widened.
"Oh, I-I fell down the stairs earlier this week." He stuttered. Mikoto growled.
"Don't lie to me." The Omega whimpered.
"I-I'm not." Mikoto pulled the Omega onto the bed and flipped over so that he was under her.
"Mi-Mikoto-" Red eyes stared at him from above making him whimper in fear.
"Tell me the truth." Fugaku's lips wobbled and he closed his eyes.
"Yes, Alpha." He whispered.
~~~~
"You okay?" Sakumo whispered. Fugaku looked up at him and nodded.
"Yeah, she was drunk, saw the bruises, asked what happened, forced me to tell her... She-" Fugaku bit his lip.
"She was gentle at first, then she got angry... You know how she gets-" He looked at him, "Sexually frustrated, when she's drunk." Sakumo huffed.
"Yeah, then she just yelled at me when we woke up... Nothing new, really." Sakumo sighed.
"I guess. I just hate that she treats you like this." The Omega's smile was sad.
"Me too." He whispered.
"Fugaku!" He sighed.
"I gotta go Saku. Just- stay out of her way, yeah?" The Alpha nodded.
"I'll try. Go, before she gets angrier." Fugaku smiled.
"Thanks Sakumo." He turned and walked to where the Alpha's voice sounded from again.
Sakumo sighed. 'I should probably get Kushina and Minato involved. But then again, Fugaku would skin me alive and then castrate me.' The Alpha shivered. 'Let me not think about that again.'
~~~Almost two years later~~~
"Mikoto, please," Kushina sighed, "Itachi is barely 4 months old. And... And the pregnancy was difficult, he's not even completely fertile, I'm surprised Itachi even made it to full term, Mikoto. Just give it time." The ravenette scowled.
"Uchiha Pups usually present a few weeks after they're born." The other Alpha huffed.
"Usually. Not always." Mikoto shook her head.
"A disappointment." Kushina shook her head at the Alpha's words.
"Nevermind. Can we see him yet? Has Kakashi-kun seen him yet?" Mikoto shook her head again.
"Sakumo has moved back to the Senju Estate, Kakashi and Orochimaru went with him. As for seeing Itachi, I'll have to speak to Fugaku's doctors. See if he's healed enough to have visitors." Kushina nodded.
"I understand, after what happened to him, Minato and I understand why you want him healthy, other than the fact that having a sick Omega isn't fun." Mikoto hummed.
"I'll let you know, Kushina. Have a good day." The red head nodded, shaking her head in agreement.
"I'll be waiting then." They both bowed slightly, fairing each other well.
Kushina sighed when Mikoto had disappeared from view. 'Let's hope she'll calm down.' She shook her head once again. 'As if. I'll have to have Minato keep in touch with Fugaku.'
~~~~
"Fugaku!" Minato smiled, the other Omega had slowly gained some more colour the few months since the birth of his first born.
"Minato." He greeted quietly, the small bundle held close to his chest under a light weight blanket letting out soft cooing noises at the sound of his mothers voice. The dark haired Omega smiled down at him, looking back up at the blond.
"I'm sure you want to meet him." He whispered.
"Only if you are ready, Fugaku." Minato smiled. Fugaku hummed in return, pulling the thin material away from his shoulder and revealing the small Pup to his friend.
"Mina, meet Itachi." He murmured. Minato smiled, resting a hand on the Omega's shoulder.
"He's gorgeous, Fugaku." The brunettes shoulders hiked up slightly, a soft pink blush dusting over the tips of his ears.
"Thank you, Mina," He said, smiling. He looked up at the blond, laughing softly, "When will you tell Kushina?" Minato squeaked.
"What do you mean?" He looked down at the other.
"You know what I mean, Mina." He giggled.
"How? How did you know?" Fugaku hummed, looking down at the small Pup.
"I can smell it, slightly, it's how I smelt at first, and you're glowing brighter than usual." The brunette smiled as Minato blushed.
"Thanks." He whispered shyly, "When everything's calmed down. Then- Then I'll tell her." Fugaku smiled knowingly.
"Good."
~~~~ Months Later ~~~~
"Itachi." Fugaku sighed as the Pup crawled away, following on his knees as snatching the ravenette up by the waist.
"You naughty little rascal." He smoothed the Pups hair out his face as he smiled down at him.
"Aaaa~!" Itachi giggled
"Fugaku." He jumped, turning to face the Alpha that stood in the doorway.
"Alpha." He greeted, nodding his head slightly, his smile disappearing. The Alpha walked in, kneeling next to the quiet Omega who looked at him with curious eyes.
"Well done." He looked Fugaku in the eye. The Omega looked surprised. "You did good, Otouto." He said softly.
"Aniki." He whimpered, staring at the Alpha in shock.
"I'm so proud of you, Fugaku, you're doing so well with your first." Tekka smiled, something that was rare.
He sniffled, turning his head away and burying his face into Itachi's soft hair as he let silent tears fall down his cheeks, his face and ears flushing a soft but noticeable pink.
"Thank you." He whispered. The Alpha hummed, tucking a stray hair that had fallen from the Omega's hastily tied bun behind his ear.
"Mikoto isn't there for you much, is she, Little Brother?" Tekka's hand cupped his chin and gently guided his face to look at the Alpha.
"Tekka?" He questioned while the Alpha studied his face. The Alpha's eyes became glassy and Fugaku's own widened.
"T-Tekka- Don't- Don't cry!" He squeaked. The Alpha chuckled lightly, stroking his hair.
"My Otouto is growing up so fast, you have your first already." He whispered.
"Tekka-" The Alpha smiled.
"I should have been there for you more, over the years." Fugaku's eyes widened.
"A-Aniki. Y-You were busy-" Tekka shook his head.
"Not so much that I couldn't be there to help you after- you know." He pursed his lips.
"Yeah." The Omega's eyes watered.
"I- I miss him." Tekka smiled.
"Me too." The Alpha looked him in the eye.
"I hope you can forgive me, one day." Fugaku looked at him confused.
"For what?" Tekka smiled.
"Everything. Everything I put you through. Everything I let you go through alone..." He bit his lip.
"I regret not being there for you, when Otō-sama hit you, when she punished you, degraded you, starved you." Fugaku stared at him in shock.
"Aniki..." Tekka smiled.
"I hope that I can still be here for you. Whenever you need it." The Omega's eyes welled up.
"Tekka, I-" He sniffled, "I never blamed you. You were doing it to keep Inabi safe." Tekka smiled.
"You always put others above yourself. But nevermind that, I'll be here from now on, if you'll have me, that is." The Omega smiled.
"Of course." The Alpha smiled nervously.
"Can I- Can I hug you?" The Omega smiled.
"Yeah." He giggled around a sniffle. He leaned in for the hug, wrapping his arms around the Omega.
"You were always the most tactile, even though you're Alpha." Fugaku murmured.
"Yeah." Tekka hummed.
"So were you, I'm still sorry for leaving you to do it alone." Fugaku smiled.
"You're here now, Tekka. That's all the matters now." The Alpha hummed.
"I want you to meet Itachi." The Omega showed him the Pup who had fallen asleep in his arms at some point.
"Itachi." Tekka looked down at the Pup.
"He's beautiful, so is his name." Fugaku smiled, leaning against his brothers side once more.
"Thank you, Aniki."
