Boruto loved Mitsuki's long hair, the blue hair so soft and long, now past his boyfriend's shoulders, he wondered how far Mitsuki would let it grow
"Can you stop that? I'm trying to read" - His boyfriend's sleepy voice echoed through the apartment
Mitsuki wasn't a fan of Boruto touching his hair, at first the Uzumaki felt hurt when he noticed, but then it became clear why the boy didn't like it, it put him to sleep in a few seconds
"I'm sorry, you know I love your hair" - Boruto said taking his hands away from his boyfriend's hair, Mitsuki who was lying on his back turned and faced him
"I know, you always say that”
"I think you have to let it grow until our wedding day" - Boruto said drawing a chuckle from Mitsuki
"I don't think that's a good idea"
"Why not?”
"Do you want me to look like him at our wedding?" - Mitsuki asked looking directly at his boyfriend
The fact that Mitsuki was Orochimaru's son was no longer a secret in Konoha and for some reason many citizens wanted him exiled when they found out, they simply decided to ignore the fact that Mitsuki had saved and helped save the village many times
Boruto remembered much to the good of his anger when he saw his boyfriend being treated badly by children for the first time, the adults saying horrible things as he passed by, the teenagers simply ignored him and the children decided to take more risks by throwing things at him
"If you want to go beyond the age of twelve, you'd better stay away from him or I'll throw you off somewhere myself" - He said to the group of boys who immediately ran off in fear
"My hero" - That was all Mitsuki had to say after each attack, he never stopped walking the streets with his head held high and Boruto loved him for it
"I thought those assholes wouldn't bother you anymore" - he said caressing his boyfriend's face
"I would never let anyone ruin our day just because of my hair, it's better to leave it the way it is”
"Well I would never let anyone live it down if they spoke badly of your hair" - Boruto said drawing another laugh from Mitsuki, how he loved that laugh
"My hair is going to look like this now, Inojin has seen a few different ways of styling it and he's going to help me on the day”
"It'll be wonderful if you're comfortable, my love." - Boruto said kissing the boy he loved more than the world
Who knows, maybe one day Mitsuki will want to let his hair grow longer and Boruto will be able to become a more loving boyfriend than he already is.
