Dark cacao cookie is stuck in an endless cycle of regret and longing for what he had done to his son, and what the latter had done in return. He had decided for many of those long years, to hide it away in a place not even himself would be able to find, peeking out through hints of glimmering lights or dusted furniture he refused to remove. So it seems one day, when Hollyberry cookie was acting a bit odd for her usual norm, he couldn't help but implore the other ancients to help pry open whatever she was keeping from them; Finding only painful memories and the smallest whorls of hope reaching from under a coarse old door at the end of an inn.But forgiveness is something hard to give- Even harder to accept, especially from your own father. So when dark choco cookie gets stuck between a prideful charmer of a cookie who can't seem to treat him the violent way they want, and a powerful curse refusing to let go, they must decide on whether he will finally find redemption, or push the final nail into their body, one that might just be the death of them. But they're not quite sure how long they can survive the this, and if they don't end themselves first, that damned cookie will.

Hi! First chapter. I'm making this because I've been thinking about Dark choco cookie recently and then I thought to pair him with someone random but it turns out the pair was so rare it wasn't even a tag on ao3 so I'm really putting a limb out here. All trigger warnings will be posted before a chapter they're including in, not sure when updates will happen either, and like I said in the tags the timeline is a bit wonky so bare with me on this. This first chapter is a bit of a short filler until I can sit down and really get into it, Tags will be changed/added.
