USJ Part 1
The Unforeseen Simulation Joint, or USJ, was supposed to be used by Class 1-A for rescue training, but everything changed when villains entered via a warping quirk. Aizawa began to fight the villains while Thirteen tried to evacuate the students. Oddly enough, four of the villains watched while the rest were fighting. They were an amorphous black cloud, a large black creature with an exposed brain and a beak-like mouth, a man with disembodied hands grabbing onto him, and finally, a woman with white hair wearing a black kimono and cyan hakama.
A brief pause to explain who this last one is if you haven't read MHR: The woman is called Priestess, and her real name is unknown. Her Quirk is named Soul Revelation. She can extend each of her fingers into red energy tendrils (similar to Rivet Stab, but it doesn’t harm the target) that make the first person they touch regain the memories of their most recent past life. Once she does this with one of her fingers, she cannot use that finger for the next 24 hours. During that time, she can view the memories by looking at the corresponding finger.
(For the MHR readers, I decided to update her Quirk so she can use it from both hands)
"All Might doesn't seem to be here. I wonder if it has anything to do with this morning," said the woman. "What do you mean, Priestess?" asked the man covered in hands. "Have you not been paying attention to the news, Shigaraki?" replied the woman known as Priestess. "He was occupied for quite a bit this morning," she explained. "Why aren't you helping the others?" Shigaraki asked under his breath. "Why would I waste a usage of my Quirk on him?" retorted Priestess. "My targets are the students. Besides, it would be far better for me to use my Quirk on them than for you to kill them," she continued.
"Priestess, you seem to be on a high horse right now," muttered Shigaraki. "I may be with the League of Villains, but a life is still a life regardless, and life is a precious thing," Priestess replied. "Why did I even recruit you?" asked Shigaraki. "Because I took so many heroes off the streets without any life lost," answered Priestess. "You have failed to take out the occasional hero, however. That's not what I would call a perfect record," responded Shigaraki. "Nobody's perfect," Priestess replied. "You really should enact your plan. After all, you're quite a boss for this game," said Shigaraki. Priestess smirked.
The cloud warped in front of the evacuating students, bringing Priestess to them. Thirteen stood protectively in front of the students, anticipating a possible attack. "So, this is the next generation of heroes. So full of ideals and dreams… so unaware of reality!" The cloud looked at Priestess. "Come on Kurogiri, I can’t help but admire them… at least for their naïveté." The cloud, now named Kurogiri, looked back toward Thirteen and the students. "All Might was supposed to be here today, yet I see no sign of him," he observed. "He's probably busy with something else," Priestess replied. "Word might spread to him if we're lucky, so I'm not worried about him." With that, she clasped her hands as if in prayer. Thirteen noticed this distinctive gesture and tied everything together. "Wait... you're Priestess!" Thirteen said in shock. "Yes I am..." she said as she completed her prayer, the fingers on her right hand beginning to glow red.
"Don't let those fingers touch you! It's how her Quirk works!" Thirteen yelled to the students. One of them, a broccoli-haired boy named Izuku Midoriya, was confused. "What? Who is this Priestess? What is her Quirk?" he quickly asked, asking one question after another. "You don't know? That means I have to have you experience it now!" Priestess said with a smirk, her glowing fingers extending and piercing several students (but not physically harming them), being too fast for any of them to react. Along with Izuku, the tendrils pierced a girl with black hair put into a side ponytail named Momo Yaoyorozu, a petite girl with a slight build named Kyoka Jiro, a boy with golden hair and a black lightning streak in it named Denki Kaminari, and a girl with shoulder-length brown hair named Ochaco Uraraka. 'She only used her right hand for that... she could have used both of them and done that same thing to half the class,' Thirteen mentally noted. The red glowing fingers retracted and returned to normal, and all five of the students fell to their knees in shock. "You have 30 seconds to warp them Kurogiri. There is a 4% chance that any one of the ones I just hit will fight back during the feral state," said Priestess.
Two of the students, Katsuki Bakugo and Eijiro Kirishima, went to attack, with Bakugo launching an explosion at Priestess. She quickly recovered from the attack. "You chose to attack me instead of the black cloud behind me that is clearly the one with the warp quirk. That’s not the brightest move you could have made." Bakugo began to sweat as Kurogiri covered where the students stood in a black dome to scatter them throughout the facility. Several students, a total of seven, managed to avoid getting warped in one way or another. One of the students who escaped was Tenya Iida, who managed to rescue Ochaco.
"So some of them escaped being scattered," noted Kurogiri. "Bomb boy wasn't one of them so that's good," Priestess replied. She then saw that one of the ones who escaped was Ochaco. "It looks like one of my targets was saved from your warp," commented Priestess. "Will she attack?" Kurogiri asked. "I'll need to check," Priestess replied. "If I remember I used my ring finger on her." She lifted her ring finger as it began to glow blue. "She will fight, but not indiscriminately. It's a shame, but she will most likely remain on her current path. Huh... that's interesting..." she muttered. "I've been counting, and the 30 seconds are up," Kurogiri told her. Ochaco, still in Iida's arms, suddenly jumped up and ran toward the two villains, preparing a palm strike (an excellent taijutsu to use with Zero Gravity, in my honest opinion).
Unfortunately for her, Priestess dodged the attack. "I know you can't hear me, but I should say that won't work," she taunted before kneeing Ochaco in the chest. "One of you needs to restrain her! She's not in her right mind and she will hurt herself if she continues." Thirteen told the conscious students. "I'll handle restraining her," said a student named Hanta Sero, who used the tape he could extend from his elbows to wrap around Ochaco, knowing it was about her and not Priestess.
"A wise choice to restrain her!" said Priestess. "My quirk put her into a feral state completely driven by instinct. She will protect her friends and fight her enemies, and that’s all she will do right now. She recognizes me as an enemy and you as friends, so you don't have to worry about her turning on you," she explained. "What did you do to her?" Iida demanded. "You see..." Priestess began. Before she could say anything else to explain, an explosion came from the Shipwreck Zone and interrupted her. "You sent one of my victims there, didn't you?" she asked Kurogiri. "I did," Kurogiri confirmed.
"I guess I should see who it is then! It shouldn't take more than a minute!" said Priestess. Her thumb began to glow blue. "Interesting, two people who could harness a mystical energy in their past lives, yet their current bodies lack the capacity to do so…" said Priestess, "I hope her Quirk doesn't make up for that."
In the mountain zone, three of Priestess’s victims were fighting the villains, the victims in question being Momo, Kyoka, and Denki. Momo had created two swords with her Quirk, Kyoka was using the jacks extending from her ears to pierce several of the villains and knock them out, and Denki had coated his right arm in electricity while moving as if chopping the air with that arm. Together, they delivered a very one-sided beatdown. "Priestess! What have you unleashed now?" one of the villains yelled.
At the entrance, Priestess switched to her index finger. "This guy fought former humans and generally needed to cut off their heads to take them out. He'll likely have a problem with not using lethal force in the future, but he doesn't have his sword right now, so I won't worry about him too much," she said. She then switched to viewing the memories from her pinkie. "I just woke up one of... them! She fought alongside Dino Ace's past life and had him as a teacher! The only good thing about waking this one up is that she doesn't have her gem or equipment right now!" she yelled.
Another explosion came from the shipwreck zone, an unconscious shark-like villain falling in front of them, beaten and burned. "Priestess... what have you unleashed?" Kurogiri asked. "I'll have to check my middle finger. That's the one who asked all the questions about my Quirk and why my fingers should be avoided. I'd rather not flip myself off, but it looks like I have to," she said. Her middle finger glowed blue as she checked it.
She then started screaming. The conscious students and Thirteen watched her in surprise. Kurogiri was somewhat concerned. He'd been her acquaintance for quite a while now, and only twice had she ever been shaken by her Quirk. When that happened, she appeared at his bar and demanded, "Booze now!"
"I have unleashed a monster! Not just a monster, but one with scruples! He has skills beyond anything I have ever seen from a world with powers too… but he didn't have any of those powers! He trained for everything! Everything he has is from his skills! I have unleashed a monster! The feral state slightly alters the body for skills such as his! His legs are going to be the world's most dangerous weapon! I have unleashed a monster! I am not exaggerating! They were called the monster trio! And he was the weakest of the three! I have unleashed a monster! I have unleashed a monster! I have unleashed a monster! I have unleashed a monster! AND HE WILL REMAIN A HERO!" she ranted.
Meanwhile, two students watched in shock as Izuku practically flew and swam around the ship, kicking the villains out of the water with powerful explosions.
Back at the entrance, Priestess continued her rant.
"Black Leg or whatever he calls himself in this life will stand beside All Might at the top! Villains will know the pain of his kicks! I have unleashed a monster! I have unleashed a monster!" she continued to rant as she burst into maniacal laughter.
Due to Soul Revelation. Izuku Midoriya remembered his previous life as the infamous pirate "Black Leg" Sanji, one of the strongest pirates ever to sail the Grand Line! And with these memories and skills, he would one day become the World's Greatest Hero!
