The calvary has arrived
Argus, Am, PROXY, Guillford and Darlton enter the hospital room belonging to Cornelia as nurses were patching up her injured eye and checking her body for any more damaged and broken bones in her body.
"How are you feeling my lady?" Guillford asked in concern for her as Cornelia sighed and said holding her patched eye.
"Really pathetic I allowed that Jedi to get the better of me in that battle as if ripping out my eye was bad enough with his weapon my left arm and my right leg are no longer able to work."
Her two knights gasped in horror to hear that knowing that she would had to be amputated much later.
"And the worst part is I can't leave the hospital after my surgery to replace my limbs for the next two weeks." Said Cornelia as her right hand shakes with anger for what Luke did to her.
Argus then said. "I know you're worried about being stuck for the time being Cornelia for in your absence Am will be taking control for the time being."
Am nodded and said with a smirk on her face as if she was gonna enjoy being viceroy for two weeks. "Indeed I am the best Knightmare pilot in the Regime!"
One look at the Sith acolyte and Cornelia could have sworn she saw Nonnette in her place as her rival had the same smirk Am had before saying as her face was covered by darkness.
"Very well Sith acolyte your in command for now until I am fully healed but can you and your allies promise me something as well as my knights while I recover…"
Argus smiled as he placed the flowers beside her bed. "And that is?" Cornelia now with an insane look said darkly.
"I want you to find Luke Skywalker and bring him to me alive so I can have the pleasure of hearing his screams as I kill him with my Knightmare!"
Am chuckles with a mocking bow to her.
"Very well I'll have my best troops searching high and low for you."
Guliford then said nervously "We will try to do our best for you my lady we promise." Cornelia smiled and said to them.
"Thank you." She then noticed something as she then said.
"And where's Karre, shouldn't he be here with you?" PROXY shook his head and said.
"Strangely no Master Karre had some business with sub-viceroy Euphemia today." Cornelia then said to Argus as her big sister's instincts kicked in.
"Argus, why is my sister being around your other Sith Acolyte lately? Does he have feelings for my little sister? Because I swear if he touches her the wrong way."
Argus shook his head at her in worry. "No no of course I'm sure Karre would have told us if he did but I'm sure they're just pals nothing to straight forward Viceroy Cornelia."
Lightsabers clashed as Karre and Euphie, who was wearing a pink and blue knightmare pilot outfit and her hair was tied into a single ponytail, the two battled through a training room.
As Euphie was doing her best to block some of Karre's best attacks as their lightsabers clashed with each other as the two pushed each other back across the room.
Karre and Euphie locked eyes with each other waiting for the other one to make their move as they swung their lightsabers a few times as they circled the room waiting for the other to make their move.
Seconds pass as they both charged at each other as their blades clashed as Euphie was losing ground as Karre took this moment to disarm her as he softly kicked her to the ground as she landed on her butt.
Euphie then asked, looking a bit exhausted, "So what's the record this time?" R-Duo came over and showed a timer through its lens as Karre said as he turned off his lightsaber.
"Three minutes and 50 seconds seems like you beat your personal record."
Euphie smiled at that as Karre helped her up. "At least it's proof I'm getting much better at using a lightsaber."
Karre then said to her. "Well believe it or not that lightsaber once belonged to my sister." Euphie had a surprised look as she looked at the silver and red lightsaber that she used in her training.
"I had no idea that this was originally her lightsaber." Karre chuckled as he told the tale.
"That was the very first lightsaber she ever created when me and her began training with Argos and Julius. She really enjoyed it even though the lightsaber was only meant for her training but as time passed on she went and created her real lightsabers so she could fight alongside Argos and Julius on the frontlines. Am didn't wanna get rid of her old lightsaber so she gave it to me for safekeeping and now you're the one using it for your training."
Euphie smiled at the story but frowned in worry as she then said. "Karre I'm worried if it's alright keeping this a secret from my sister you know how she can be protective."
Karre forces pulled some chairs to her and said. "Well it is nice that we're finally getting the time to continue your training on becoming a warrior of the force so you can defend everyone you cared for and I know you're destined for great things and one day you might be able to make your lightsaber."
Euphie giggled at that as she took a seat. "I agree I like the training blade your sister made but however the colour isn't my style I think I would love it if it was pink no offence since you use a red lightsaber." Karre smiled as he knew her words meant no harm.
"But I understand the work I do as a sub-viceroy is to protect those like the Japanese who lost their home to my people along with people who think Brtiitana can be in the wrong."
Karre got off his seat and said. "Well from my point of view there's nothing more important than the way I feel about you as my friend as well as your instructor."
Karre took his lightsaber from his belt and showed it to Euphie who gasped on what could be happening.
"Karre you want me to take your lightsaber but won't you-" But however Karre cuts her off and says to her. "When I finished constructing my lightsaber, Argos said to me "Karre my boy this weapon is your life!" This weapon is my life and now."
Karre holds out Euphie's hand as he puts the weapon into her hands as he said. "it is yours!"
Karre then gave Euphie his lightsaber as she was surprised that it felt in her hands as she said in surprise. "Wow it's more heavier then the training lightsaber you gave me when we started my training."
Karre then said. "Well R-Duo and I better get moving take care of yourself Euphie." Euphie nodded as she waved goodbye to her friend as she now held the lightsaber that belonged to her friend as Karre closed the doors to the room.
R-Duo beeped in worry for Karre as if saying was it wise to give her your lightsaber as Karre said assuring the droid. "Don't worry about it R-Duo Euphie is very responsible I'm sure she can handle using a real lightsaber to defend herself or her allies."
R-Duo beeped in annoyance on how Karre's gonna tell his fellow allies on why he doesn't have his lightsaber but he would worry about that later.
"Horizontal boosters?!" Shouted Han as he was trying to fix the ship's engine as Chewie, Lelouch and Lop were helping him fix it.
"Right here Han!" Lelouch said as he gave the part to Han as the captain of the ship then said.
"Alluvial dampers?" As Han was somehow on the roof Lop came rushing over as she gave it to Han along with a monkey wrench.
"That's not it, bring me the hydro spanner!"
Shouted Han as Chewie came over with the toolbox as Han grabbed the spanner while saying. "Thanks!"
C.C sat in the bulkhead of the falcon as she was listening to her phone. "And that is my report his abilities are slowly developing and after his little talk with Luke and General Organa he's for sure to walk a different path for sure…"
There was silence until C.C then said. "His other abilities haven't returned yet it's annoying what that crazy ex of yours did erase his memories of that skill he once-"
"C.C are you there?" Luke's voice shouted as C.C gasped as she said.
I have to go, we'll chat later!"
She turns off the phone while hiding it as she sees Luke and Asami standing there as C.C clears her throat and says to them putting on her other facade.
"Yes, can I help you with anything Commander Skywalker?" As she sees Luke and Asami with books in their hands as she said.
"What have you got there?"
"Oh, these?" Luke said. "Lelouch said they were the best forms of literature on this planet. He lent them to me as Asami when we had time."
C.C took one of the books and said. "I can assume you do not have books in your galaxy." As she half smiled at them Luke then said.
"We have books and we also have holobooks." Luke said, as he lifted the book up. "This one is by J.K rowling. And this other book is something called 'The Once and Future King.'"
"The tales of King Arthur and Camelot." C.C. said.
"Who's Arthur?" Asami asked the green haired girl who replied with.
"So you know some of those stories C.C?" Asked Luke as the green haired woman shrugged, saying to him.
"It is a story about two friends Arthur and his loyal wizard Merlin. The two shared an unbreakable bond through many trials of fire against the evil Morgana le fey and her wicked army; their story is also one of tragic endings. And besides, I've lost count everytime I read or listen to the story."
Asami looked at the book and said. "How curious as I looked at Arthur and Merlin in the book I almost can see Luke and Lelouch standing side by side."
C.C was thinking to herself before she could say it Leia's voice shouted.
"Luke you need to get over here now something's wrong!" Luke placed his books down as he shouted.
"On my way!" As he, Asami and C.C followed him.
Han stopped working on the falcon's engine as he ran to the main room of the falcon as he said. "C'mon Chewie!" His wookie partner nodded as the others also followed him.
Everyone soon arrived in the main room of the falcon as Asami then said. "What is it Leia?" as Artoo was beeping crazily. "What's wrong with Artoo?" Luke said to his droid partner
"Artoo says he has received a coded message!" Threepio said. "Coded message?" C.C. asked.
"The Rebel Alliance found ways to send transmissions that we could decipher. A way to signal before the Empire could trace it." Leia said.
"Wait coded messages?" Asked Luke until he started smiling. "That means!"
Chewie roared. "I don't think the droid is kidding, kid," Han said. "It's gotta mean what we think it is."
"We have to reply back quickly…" Leia said. "Get in contact so that we may be able to help them land somewhere Britannia won't notice." Artoo beeps saying he's on it.
An hour later
The Ghost had finally landed around sunset. In the land known as Area 11. It was evening, and it was easier for the ships to make way and find cover in a forest at least a few miles from the city of the Tokyo Settlement.
Somehow by chance, Chopper had received a reply from the code he had deployed, and knew it was no Imperial hacking it…However
Standing in the hangar of the Ghost were the whole pack of rebels that had arrived at the planet, joining the Ghost crew consisting of Hera, Sabine, Zeb, Rex, Kallus, AP-4, and Chopper as they walked down the hanger door.
Leia gasped as a smile rose on her face "I can't believe it Hera!" "Leia!" Hera exclaimed with joy.
Chewie made a roar as he appeared.
"Hey, Chewbacca." Sabine made a smile. "What up, big guy." Zeb came and made a fist bump with the Wookie.
Artoo rolled in the hangar, and Chopper zoomed to meet him as well. The droids made chirping beeps at each other, both of them getting lost in conversation.
"I don't believe it," Han said. "You managed to get this ship without getting spotted?"
"There's a reason she's called the Ghost, Captain Solo," Hera made a trolling grin. "Makes you reconsider your ship."
"Oh, you think so?" Han said. "We didn't know this place would be hostile. I doubt this small clunk would have made the speed before getting turned to scrap." Chopper screeched loudly at that.
"Oh, dear, here it comes…" AP-4 dreaded as he declared annoyed by it.
"Han, not a good time…" Leia sighed. "Always with that attitude, very expected of a smuggler," Kallus said.
"Kallus?" Han almost narrowed his eyes at the ex-Imperial. "You came along, too?"
"Of course, I am a part of the Ghost crew," Kallus said almost proudly..
"Gee never thought you really cared…" Han said. "I mean… I didn't think you would since the day you tried arresting Chewie and I."
"That was many years ago…" Kallus narrowed his eyes. "When I was an Imperial. No longer." Han was surprised to hear that.
"I think a certain pair of words that would be nice to hear would be 'Thank You,'" Hera said.
"Calm down, everyone…" A certain former clone captain stepped. "We don't need to bicker over trivial things."
"Captain Rex?" Luke said, almost smiling. "You're here, too?" Rex chuckled. "Like I would miss this. It's good to see you again, Luke." He patted the young man's shoulder.
Artoo beeped as he came over to the old captain from the clone wars.
"Heh, nice to see you, too, little guy," Rex patted the astromech's head. "This is crazy, you're here. How did you manage to find this planet?" Luke said.
"Well after the falcon bolted to this planet the Rebellion was searching for the guy who created it and we were able to find him and he helped us decrypt the fuel and we wouldn't be here if not for our other friend who decided to tag along."
Han then said to Sabine "Wait someone else came with you?" As if almost on cue.
"Han solo!" A voice shouted as Han saw a familiar face walking down the ramp of the Ghost, one he and Cheiwe knew Lando Calrissian.
"O-oh boy!" Muttered Han in worry before he said putting a worried smile. "L-lando hey there buddy it's been a long time!"
"Save it, you smiley double crossing no good swindler!" Shouted Lando in anger for him.
"You got a lot of guts showing your face after what you pulled!" Lando said very seriously as Han began sweating bullets in worry until…
Lando hugged Han completely out of the blue and laughed in total joy as everyone had a surprised look on their faces that Lando knew Han.
"How are you doing, you old pirate?! It's so good to see you after so long I never thought I would ever see you again! How have you been?"
Lando said with a smile while hugging Han as Threepio then said.
"Well he seems friendly!"
Luke nodded agreeing with the droid. "Yeah glad he and Han are friends!"
Leia on the other hand glared at Lando as if not liking the guy saying almost in dislike. "Yeah, very friendly.."
Lando then said, still having a smile on his face. "And how are you doing Chewbacca? Still hanging around with this loser…" Chewie came over and hugged as Lando laughed happily.
Han chuckles as he looks at his crew and then says. "Right, everyone this is Lando Calrassian, a retired smuggler and an old friend of mine nowadays you'll find him in Bespin running Cloud City."
Lando then said looking at Leia. "Well hello who do we have here?" He came over and said "The name's Lando and it's a pleasure to meet you miss?"
"Leia. Leia Organa!" Leia saying her name to the man Han came over and said almost sounding a bit jealous. "Okay okay that's enough give the lady some room."
Luke then said. "This is great, did you guys come here to help?" Hera nodded as they arrived at the falcon.
Lando looked at the Falcon and said as if in worry for his old ship. "Han, what have you done to my ship?!"
Han smirks and says. "Y-your ship? Hey come on don't be a sore loser you lost her to me fair and square baby!"
Lando then said. "Yes I know that but I'm just worried for her. Believe it or not, that ship saved my life more times than anyone here can count. She's the fastest junk heap in the galaxy!"
"Sounds like an interesting story." At that moment all the rebels turned around to see some new faces standing at the entrance of the falcon as one of them wore a mask over their face.
"What the?!" Zeb exclaimed as he brought up his bo-rifle at the mask man, as did all the rebels.
"Who are you start talking!" Rex shouted, ready to pull the trigger.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Take it easy!" Han said as he and the others stepped in front of Zero.
"It's alright they're friends as two of them are Jedi." Leia said as Lop and Asami nodded as they took off their hoods so they could get a better look of them.
"I thought Luke was the last Jedi in the galaxy." Sabine said in surprise to see the two as Luke said back "That's what I thought as well until I met them myself when I felt their connection to the force."
Luke went over to them and said. "This is Asami Fukkura and her student Lop." Lop happy waves at them while Asami bows to them.
"And who's tall, dark and spooky?" Lando asked as the masked man then said.
My name's Zero!" "Zero?"
Phoenix squadron said in confusion. "What is that supposed to mean?" Zeb said. "Some sort of codename are you using?" Kallus said.
"And what's with the mask?" Sabine glaring at Zero as said person had a sharp glare.
"I understand your uneasiness with him as his mask is almost similar to that of the Sith lord Darth Vader but despite being rough around the edges Zero is an ally." Asami said to the group as Leia then said to Zero.
"Zero and C.C let me properly introduce you to the Phoenix Squadron General Hera Syndulla and captain of the ship the ghost she is from the planet Ryloth and her father is Cham Syndulla, Sabine wren is from a line of warriors in the Mandalore system. Garazeb Orrelios, a Lasat Warrior of Lasan. Alexsandr Kallus, who defected from the Galactic Empire and has devoted to the cause of our Rebellion. The protocol droid is AP-4, and the orange astromech there is Chopper." The said droid mumbled and made a wave of his small metal hand sticking out.
"And Lando who you have met." Lando smiled at Zero.
"And this here…" Luke said as he gestured to the clone veteran. "Is Captain Rex. A man who fought alongside my father and Obi Wan during the Clone Wars."
"Aye, and I will never forget that time… nor them, for as long as I live," Rex said with a glimmer of nostalgia in his eyes.
"I see…" Zero said. "So, you are part of the larger Rebel Alliance I heard so much about. I do have many questions I wish to ask you about."
"We have a lot of questions as well, such as…" Kallus said. "Who exactly are you behind that mask?"
"Kallus…" Hera chided.
Zero stiffened a bit, feeling the tension in the room growing as his eyes glared at the man.
"Just hold on a minute…" Han stepped. "I know all you guys know…"
"We understand your concerns…" Leia said. "But first off… It's a long story… something that it would be best that you sit down to hear."
Lando then said. "Well make it a good one your highness and besides we've got plenty of time on our hands maybe talk about it in the falcon."
The black space of the solar system looked so quiet as the infinite number of stars shined all around.
It was then all of a sudden when the intimidating metal shape appeared almost a ways from Mars after exiting lightspeed.
Thus appeared the metal monstrosity from another galaxy.
The Star Destroyer, the Devastator, had emerged out of hyperspace hours after chasing the Ghost.
On the bridge, many of the crew members conversed with each other in shock and awe at where they were now.
None were more satisfied than the black shape that stood at the centre of the bridge. The dark lord… Darth Vader with his infamous breathing.
Observing through the windows of the bridge were three certain Imperial lieutenants, all three were in awe of what they were seeing with their very eyes.
"Ciena, Berisse," Nash said. "Y-you're seeing this right?"
"I… I…" Ciena almost gasped. "I am. It's…"
"It's standing right before us, Ciena," Berisse said. "We… were…"
"Could it be?" Ciena thought as she looked out the window the unfamiliar space.
"We did it. We really did it with the coordinates we had captured. We… managed to lightspeed outside our very galaxy? Is this what it really looks like? A whole new galaxy. A galaxy away from home."
The woman then looked at the bracelet on her wrist. "Are you seeing this as well, Wynnet?"
"Lord Vader?" Admiral Piett approached the Dark Lord. "It… it seems we have successfully made the course." The captain looked a bit unnerved at what he was seeing.
"It seems we have indeed had lightspeed successfully into a star system by following The Ghost's signal to this strange planet that's not familiar in the Imperial records."
Vader then said as he looked at the newly appointed admiral. "We are no longer within our galaxy but however in the reaches of one all too foreign to us."
The star system we are in seems to only occupy only one star. We are still in the process of counting how many planets…" The Admiral said to the sith lord.
"The details on the system can wait." Vader interjected. "Deploy the probe droids. I want this planet to be searched at once and leave nothing unturned. And see if they will find any trace of them which will lead us to the Millennium Falcon and its crew ready to be captured. Do I make myself clear?"
Piett tried his best not to gulp in Vader's presence. "Yes, Lord Vader. Understood." With that the captain walked away.
The dark lord was left alone, and he walked towards the front window overseeing the space before them. It was no ordinary detour to travel beyond the limits of the galaxy they all knew. It was as mysterious as the boundaries of the Unknown Regions. There had been the risk of not knowing if they would run into asteroids, nebula storms or worse.
It was during the journey; Vader had sensed something. Something that felt like a wave through his body. He had a feeling of a sort of disturbance.
As he felt memories flowing though memories of how it happened how their destinies clash both him and Luke's.
He knew for sure it was his son HE had a son. Vader remembered his first encounter with Luke Skywalker on Cymoon 1 as he held the lightsaber that was once his during their very first encounter..The weapon he built to replace the one he lost on Geonosis
"Wait! This lightsaber I know this weapon it once belonged to-" But however his thoughts get caught off by an incoming AT-AT.
And then another flashback as he was onboard his star destroyer as Boba Fett was behind him.
"Did you bring me anything of value, Bounty hunter?"
And the only words from the bounty hunter were.
"Just his name, Skywalker!"
Vader was quiet as he can recall with the memoirs of a man he killed many years ago a dead man…
"Ani I'm pregnant!" Padame said to Anakin as the greatest Jedi knight said happily to hear the news. "That's wonderful!"
The flashback faded into dust as he silently shook his head trying to shake that memory outta his head trying to prevent someone else from taking over him.
Regardless, they had a mission. And that mission was to find Skywalker, and that was all that mattered. He was here. Somewhere. Vader will find the boy even if he had to bring every Star Destroyer in his fleet and rain laser fire on the planets in this very system.
Soon, several Imperial probe droids flew out from the hangar of The Devastator and then scattered towards the planet below.
"Luke, I will find you son and we will be unstoppable! Everything will be ALL ours!" Said Vader as he looked at Earth.
After an hour, the Falcon crew recounted from the point when they made the hyperspace jump with the synthetic coaxium that landed them to earth to Luke's heroic victory against Cornella.
All the while excluding facts such as Zero's identity as the exiled prince and son of the Britannian Emperor, his special power to manipulate the will of others, and the existence of C.C.
Before the Falcon crew were ready to find the Ghost crew, Lelouch had insisted that it was best that his identity and power remain unknown, explaining it was not best for many others to know. Another reason why C.C. was left behind with C-3PO back at the Falcon.
By the time the Falcon crew finished their recount, the Ghost and Lando took time to process it… and their reactions were none short of awe, wonder, shock, worried, and even appalled and angered.
Even though Earth's civilization tech was not at the same level as their galaxy's it amazed them that they managed to create mech suits like the Knightmare Frames, as Artoo displayed holo's of Sutherlands and their height compared to the average being even showed an image of the Lancelot. It caused them to worry what kind of destruction they were capable of in the wrong hands.
Even informed them about the Royal Regime while making sure to tell them about PROXY as Asami thought he was still on a mission.
All their anger rose upon learning what kind society Britannia was. Not only they governed just like the Galactic Empire, but also how much of a prejudiced and narcissistic society they were. A society bent on conquering all the world and subjecting all those who were not their ethnicity into bondage and submission.
As each of them wanted to give Britannia and the Royal Regime a piece of their minds with that said and done Luke walked over to Zero and said to them.
"And that's why we and Zero…" Luke gestured to the masked man. "Are planning to unite a resistance to fight against Britannia."
While the rebels were in awe of what they had been told… several others were uncomfortable at what the Falcon crew was planning.
"You plan to stay, are you?" Hera asked.
"Hera…" Leia sighed. "I know it's a lot to take in, but-" "Leia," Hera said. "I understand what you all plan but this is not us asking you."
"Admiral Ackbar and Mon Mothma gave us orders that when we find you, we would bring you back safely to base." Kallus said as he folded his arms.
Lop shouted in outrage as Asami held her out to prevent the lepti from hurting them "You cannot be serious!"
Lando started to ponder as the others began to argue about staying and leaving Earth until he finally spoke up.
"Everyone stop talking for five minutes!" The owner of Cloud city shouted as everyone stopped arguing with each other as they looked at him.
"I might be interested in tagging along with this Earth Rebellion you're cooking."
"What?!/Really?!" Everyone shouted in surprise as Lando then said as he looked at them.
"Listen everyone, the empire came to Cloud City looking for a fight. They wanted answers for what we wanted and they made it personal by taking over Cloud City. And believe me Hera and her crew had to fight hard in order to free Lothal from the Empire's grasp fighting the likes of even Darth Vader but not without losing good people and I'm for sure Zero felt the same way when he lost something and everything that meant the world to him!"
Lando looked at Zero as he kept on talking. "And that's why he wants to start a rebellion to stand up against injustice so it doesn't happen to other people but he can't do it alone. That's why he needed Han & his friends' help to fight the battles to come even when the Galactic Empire emerges onto their doorstep whether it's today or the next day."
Zero was shocked to hear that as were the falcon crew that Lando would side with them.
"Just wow I met him hours ago and he's siding with us!" Lop said shocked Asami nodded in agreement as Rex took a deep breath and said.
Do you trust this man, kid?" Zero froze in place at that question, even as he kept observing Luke's expression, which was firm and barely any hesitance.
"I do trust him." Luke said. That causes Lelouch to gape from behind his mask. "When we met… we knew nothing of each other but when we were both in danger he saved my life more than once and I saved him."
The rebels now looked in earnest at what Luke was saying.
"Not only my life, but also many others as well." Luke continued. "He could have left me to save his own skin when the people of Shinjuku were being massacred, but he stayed to help the resistance and coordinate a strategy against the Britannian Forces. He was even willing to save a young man framed for a death he didn't commit. His actions spoke louder than words. I can tell you…Zero is a member of the Rebel Alliance."
Lelouch underneath his mask smiled fondly as he muttered. "Thank you Luke!"
"We all have our pasts and origins…" Leia said. "But we don't let that divide us. Against grave odds we came together to form the rebellion that it is today. Many would think it impossible that one small group of rebels would be enough to free a planet suffering under the empire."
She turned to the Ghost crew, especially Hera. "You were one of the very people who changed that and you started a movement that helped unite the Rebellion."
Chewie roared.
"Even though you didn't get the army you wanted…" Han said. "You still managed to push those bastards out. Geez… a few years back I would have called it luck but now I don't know."
"If a small group of rebels can drive tyranny from one world, why not do it again?" Zero said.
"I understand your concern and the risk but we have a chance to unite. The contribution of another man or woman regardless of their ethnicity or species can turn the odds in our favour."
"He's right, rebellions are built on hope and this hope will bring not just one empire, maybe two empires in a single blow! We're not forcing you to be a part of this…" Said Luke
Leia said. "But the choice is and always will belong to you. And regardless we will respect your decision to the bitter end!"
Things were quiet until Rex then said with a smile.
"Spoken like a true soldier, you I. I have seen a lot of wars in my lifetime. I thought I would serve what I was bred for when the Clone Wars ended… but the truth is the war didn't end there, not when the Empire took over and what happened to all the Jedi who we would follow into battle… and the brothers I lost. I'll be damned if I see the Empire decide to make another move on another galaxy if they come knocking."
He smiled at Luke. "I'll fight alongside you like your father before you." He glanced at Zero. "And for those who you say you trust… I'll fight alongside them as well."
Hera took a deep breath and sighed, making a decision. "I spent most of my life fighting the empire… how it all started when they subjugated my homeworld… and so many others. I grow tired of how many worlds they spread their grip to. But I won't tire of fighting them… if it means helping people… and that means helping the people of this planet as well."
Lando smiled and shrugged, "I came here with a good speech so I'll do my best to join the fun since I'm already here."
"Ugh… I was afraid that this would happen…" Zeb rubbed his head, causing everyone to look at him funny, and even the droids giving a grumble.
"See here I'm not whining of course I'm joining in! It's been a while since I wanted to cause some trouble like this towards the Empire!" He grinned and smacked his hands together.
"Oh, dear…" AP-4 shook his head.
"Yes, 'oh dear' indeed…" Kallus said. "Command may not be like this, but…"
He stepped forward. "We are rebels after all. And…" He glanced at Zero. "If one more man can make all the difference then allow me to join you as well WE will ignite the spark…" He smiled. "So that it may catch fire and burn those who dare to oppose us."
Everyone turned to Sabine, who apparently was the one yet to speak out. "I don't like the odds… and we may be at a disadvantage…" She looked up with a small smile. "But what's there to stop rebels like us."
"Excuse me," AP-4 raised his hand, everyone's attention falling on him. "I believe I'm the only one left who hasn't spoken my word. Although…"
The protocol droid looked down, a bit depressed. "That's understandable. I am only a protocol droid, nothing more nothing less…"
"We don't think that AP-4," Hera said.
Loud rumbling sound came from Chopper, and AP-4 glanced at him. "What? You think you're the one feeling left out? Oh, I don't think so."
That caused Chopper to reply angrily at him. "At least they can hear me more clearly than that beeping of yours." AP-5 pointed a thumb at himself.
That graded Chopper's circuits. The astromech was ready to dash at his droid friend, when Artoo zoomed in between them, and beeped for both of them to calm down, which ended up with all three of them bickering. The scene caused many of the rebels to laugh and Lop and Asami to chuckle a bit.
"That's why we don't have more than two droids on my ship," Han rubbed his face.
Chewie roared in agreement with Han.
Hera then sees Zero walking over to her by his side where Leia and Luke are.
"So, are we all in agreement?" He extended a hand towards the Twi'lek general. "Will you join us in this fight to make two galaxies better for everyone, General."
Hera smiled. She may not know who he was behind the mask but however if Luke and Leia vouched for him then she will have little to no problem with it. She took Zero's hand.
A bullet train rode on the tracks over a nearby ghetto, the occupants of one the train cars being members of the Ashford Student Council: Milly, Shirley, Nina, and even the amnesiac Rai, all of whom wore casual clothing. Milly wore a long light blue dress that stretched to her ankles; Shirley wore a green tank top with brown shorts and sandals, her hair tied back in a ponytail; Nina wore a beige jacket with heavy brown pants and a hat.
"I've never left the Tokyo Settlement before, this is my very first time!" Shirley said excitedly as she looked out the window.
"What about you Rai?"
"You tell me, I don't know." Rai said in a bit of a joking tone referring to his amnesia, but despite the joke, Shirley looked regrettable at that.
"Oh, right I'm sorry…"
"Forget it, don't worry about it." Rai assured.
"I'm still a little bit surprised Lelouch said it would be alright with you coming with us." Shirley said honestly.
"Why? I mean it's not like he's my dad or anything." Rai said.
"Well considering how overprotective Lulu is for Nunnally, it's naturally a bit of a surprise that he's letting anyone who lives under the same roof as him go anywhere without him." Milly explained.
"Of course he's protective of his sister. She's blind and in a wheelchair, for Pete's sake." Rai said as if it were obvious.
"Relax, I was joking." Milly said before turning to Shirley.
"Speaking of Lelouch, I bet you wish he was here with us, don't you Shirley?" The tease caused Shirley to blush while Rai had an indifferent look.
"I think I'm starting to understand why you're called the 'She-Devil'." Rai said while Milly just had a mischievous grin.
The train however entered a dark tunnel, causing Nina to give a frightened shriek, slightly startling both Rai and Shirley. Milly hovered kneeled down in front of her and held her hand gently as the lights came on in the train car.
"Nina, it's going to be okay." Milly said in a calm and soothing tone to her. "There are lots of tourists at Lake Kawaguchi so security's fine. Don't be afraid, it's not the ghettos."
"Yes but…"
"We'll be with you the whole time. We won't leave your side for a second." Milly assured the girl with glasses.
Nina smiled. "Thanks."
The train exited the tunnel and entered a valley where one could clearly see Mount Fuji. Shirley looked in amazement and wonder, while Rai, who was also amazed at the sights before him, had something else on his mind. He saw the metallic exterior around Mount Fuji and his face grimaced a bit, along with what Milly said in regards to the ghettos.
Lelouch and Nunnally had both told him not only of their former status as royals, but of what Japan was like before the invasion. Though he was amazed at the sight of Mount Fuji, he was also disgusted at the man-made structures built around it, almost as if it were a symbol of Britannia's dominance and oppression. He already had a strong dislike for the Britannian Empire, though he cared for his friends in the Ashford Council, despite being Britannians themselves, as they were only civilians and good people; but that did not deter his distaste for the empire and its beliefs on Social Darwinism. He really wanted to do something about it, but what could he do? He was only one person. It's not like he actually knew people actively fighting Britannia.
However no one noticed some probe droids scanning the place, even some of the droids activated their camouflage mode to avoid being seen by the public.
Later, the Falcon crew, Ghost Crew, Asami, Lop and Lando gathered in the main room of the Ghost. They all stood together as Zero presented a board on the wall, a symbol he'd drawn. It was an alternate form of the geass sigil (which the others were unaware of) and closely resembled a bird, with two extra spikes below both wings, and a spear-blade going up from the centre, almost resembling a bird's head.
"What's that supposed to be? Some sort of rare bird?" Asked Lando as Zero shook his head saying.
"Not really Lando, this is going to be our symbol. This shall represent a nation that fights against all that is corrupted and filthy, regardless of their origin. A symbol that will represent guardians of peace and justice."
Rex smiled at that "Just like how the Jedi did in their time."
Asami smirked "Heh! Somehow I like it. The Britannian empire took its shot at us and now it's our turn!"
Sabine was humming as she spoke up "It's amazing, very bold. Yet I think it's missing something."
"How so?" Zero asked.
"If we are going to show the world we stand as part of the Rebel Alliance…" Hera said out loud. "We need something our forces can recognize as well when they see it."
Sabine went back to the ghost and returned a minute later with a box and rummaged through it and found the colour of paint-spray. She returned to the sigil on the board and started painting.
"A symbol of unity…"
When she finished with it, she stepped back for everyone to see the new addition. At the centre of the silver bird-like sigil was another sigil that bore similarity to a bird. Emanating an orange glow, was the crimson starbird of the Rebel Alliance. Its wings and head bear upward in the same direction the silver bird was.
"A symbol of hope." Leia Organa finished with a heartfelt smile, as everyone looked in wide awe of what was the symbol of Alliance between the Rebellion and the newly formed guardians of peace and justice that resided on this planet.
Kawaguchi Lake convention centre hotel
Vercingetorix, a Knightmare belonging to Shin flew into a hangar and landed belonging to the hotel as Britannia soldiers walked over to see it as they walked over to the man.
"Lord Shin this is a surprise, what brings you here sir?" One of the officers asked as Shin jumped out of the knightmare he piloted as he greeted them.
The tall man looked at the man with a cool expression as he walked closer, his hands being brought behind his back as he spoke with a soft tone to the officers.
"I am here to monitor your performance at the Lake Convention, this is a big event and all eyes will be on Britannia soldiers, any failure or mistake during the event could be viewed as a failure of Britannia's military strength, we cannot afford such a failure."
"Understood we understand greatly to even have one of the Royal Regiments to be here at this very moment." Another officer said as he saluted.
"Yes I know I outdo myself on many occasions in our wonderful empire but sadly I'm afraid that this place is under new management." Said Shin with a sadistic grin rising on his face..
"Wait new management?" Shin nodded as the two officers screamed as they were impaled by sharp daggers.
The officers dropped dead as Shin then said with a smirk as he looked at a young woman who was behind the officers. She was also wearing an Assassin trooper uniform along with a jetpack a white belt with the Royal Regime's logo on it.
"Brilliant work Jean, you know how to make an entrance!"
The Assassin trooper took off her helmet as she had orange hair and purple eyes.
"Thank you Lord Shin."
Just then more officers marched down into the hanger bay to stop Shin and Jean as the woman placed her helmet back on ready for a fight.
"Lord Shin, don't move, put your hands where you can see them!"
One of the officers shouted while Jean held out a blaster ready to fire under Shin's orders until the officers heard the sound of a jetpack as Durge flew onto the scene and landed with a massive thud as he landed on an officer and was killed.
Durge looked at the Britannia officers who gasped at the sight of the infamous bounty as they were afraid of him as they began shooting the hunter who scoffed at their feebleness.
"Punny Britannians!" As the bullets did little effect on him before he went in for the kill he began by punching a soldier that was close then ran to another one and snapped his neck.
Durge then used his gatling gauntlet as the darts were impaled into the officer's necks unleashing a poison into their systems some of the the soldiers charged at Durge hoping to bring him to his knees but Durge smirked underneath his helmet as he activities his wrist-mounted flamethrowers as the officers screamed in agony as their flesh melted from their skin but for Durge it was music to his ears.
Durge then kicked some officers down and brought out his flail and then slammed the weighted ball into their stomach and then spun them around and slammed them into more officers as they were flung out of the hanger bay by Durge.
Durge put his flail away and brought out his blasters as he spies one of the officers in panic trying to open the door to escape the bloodbath but Durge blasted him as the officer's blood is splattered over the window as his corpse slowly slides down to the ground dead while also opening the door.
Durge blows away the smoke from his blaster and puts it back into its holster.
After Durge had dealt with the soldiers a regime shuttle landed in the hangar and moved off the ramp with Kusakabe, his troopers along and Sawaski began marching out of the as Sai sircu and Yansau also came after them.
"See you took care of house cleaning very well done Durge." Sai said as Durge chuckles.
"It's what I'm great at, sorry I couldn't save you any fresh meat for your experiments!" The bounty hunter replied as JLF forces began loading their weapons ready to take the building under their leader's orders.
Shin said with a smirk "Now that we've dealt with the welcome wagon it's time for operation: Miracle Workers!"
