25 - He's not scared... he's... wary.
It became commonplace for the original members of team 7 to hang out, often babysat by Team Minato. Or, more specifically, Kakashi.
Obito and Rin tag along because they find it hilarious how the three toddlers orbit around Kakashi and how Kakashi often cuts himself off from calling the kids ‘pups’.
But the couple can’t deny the charm of their relationship.
Kakashi has always been a stuck-up and standoffish type of shinobi. But when Naruto was born, he took to the little blonde instantly. And every time Naruto spoke of his best friends, Kakashi listened intently (for all that he pretended not to).
And watching as Kakashi lets Uchiha Sasuke grab his face mask, asking him about his sharingan, holding Naruto in his lap as the blond wears Kakashi’s hitai-ate over both his blue eyes, all the while letting one Haruno Sakura braid his hair… Obito and Rin think this change is good for their teammate.

Obito won’t admit it to anyone.
Even to Minato-sensei or Kushina-nee.
But Haruno Sakura fucking terrifies him.
Where everyone around him sees a pretty little spring fairy in the body of a child, he sees a specter that somehow sees through his soul.
Her eyes are a variety of greens that range from spring green when she’s happy to evergreen when she’s sad or angry.
Those are normal ranges.
Yet when she looks at him… her eyes are neither.
Her usually spring green eyes go frigid like a minty sea foam. Her pupils shrink as the sea foam of her eyes enlarge.
And every time, he shivers. Because he feels as if she is looking past his skin to deep within his soul. Thankfully, the Haruno princess seems content to just watch him from afar and move on.
