The Start

Kylie didn't know what happened but somehow she ended up in the Naruto universe. This officially sucked. She was on the fast track to get my dream job of making high tech drones and buying her own property near Silicon Valley. She only had 2 weeks left until graduation. Then, out of nowhere a portal opens in her dorm room.

Curiosity is burning at what that portal of bright light could lead to, but common sense says to stay the hell away from that thing. Not knowing what else to do Kylie pulls out her cellphone and starts to dial the campus police, never setting her eyes off of the floating, flat circle of blue light. A giant glowing hand of the same color of blue as the portal shoots out and grabs Kylie before the call had a chance to connect, dragging her into the depths of the portal.
Everything was blindingly blue for an uncountable moment of time and Kylie suffered from an intense feeling of freefall. It seems like the hand had disappeared the moment that she went through; and just like that everything ended. She could feel solid ground beneath her feet, no longer blinded by whatever that light was.
It took a few seconds for her to adjust to the sudden changes, but eventually she was able to see again. Apparently she ended up in some sort of manufacturing base. All the materials and parts that were needed to build all the equipment she could think of were here in this massive base. On the table right in front of her was a letter with a plain wax seal.
It took Kylie a long moment to gather the courage to step to the table and open the letter, but eventually she did to see if it had any answers to why or how she was here. It read:

Kylie,
You won’t know me, and we will never meet.
Yes I am the one who brought you here, sorry not sorry. You see I was bored and then I found a lot of fiction and fanfiction that involved people getting shoved into different worlds and finding a way to survive in them. So I thought, why not make my own live action isekai? So like many before me (trust me I’m not the only one to have done this) I rolled a wheel and it ended up like this.
Don’t worry, I do not intend to leave you defenseless so I have given you some perks. This base is now yours and you can make countless tech and gadgets with materials and tools that you see here. The database has blueprints for more gadgetry that you could use to make equipment you haven’t learned to build yet. As to not make you too op, you will not have any chakra (the plus is that ninja will not be able to trace you that way, so there is that).
Have fun (I know I will),
ROB

If Kylie was angry then, she is furious now. What kind of crap was this? She was well on her way to having a pretty good life and this powerful asshole decided that he/she was bored and abducted her into a tv show. The “perks” that were offered would barely help her survivability in Naruto. Kylie only casually watched Naruto and spoilers filled in some of the gaps of her knowledge. It was well known that ninjas were powerhouses, the snake creep alone could summon a massive snake that could demolish the thick walls of Konoha. A freshly graduated genin could take her out fairly easily. She was fit but not to the same degree as them, and it wasn’t like she had taken martial arts classes.

The only options in her mind were laying low and not being discovered, especially her new base. As soon as she had decided that in her mind, a bright yellow sticky note appeared at the table: “PS I forgot to mention that I placed your new base in the same general area as the town with the great Naruto bridge. I will let you figure out where in the timeline you are, but I have also logged relevant information about the timeline into the computer just in case you forgot something.” . At least they have some decency, still an asshole though.

Now back to planning, nothing that will get into direct conflict because she would like to last longer than the words: paranoid murder ninjas. The main question would be if she should get involved in changing the narrative or let things be as they would without her. Basically should she live with the guilt that she has the knowledge that could change things and she didn’t do anything. Or should she try to change things for the better, and potentially make things worse.
Damn this ROB (random omniscient being for those who don’t know) for forcing her into this situation. Well for right now she is going to leave that decision for a different time to map out the base. Kylie right now is in a dining room with the table she has been sitting at made of a sturdy dark wood. The kitchen counter is visible from here to the left as well as a hallway that she guessed was the living quarters. Directly in front of her past the table, chairs, and sofa was a glass wall that viewed the massive factory workshop. This is where most things were going to be manufactured. Kylie travelled down the hallway, there were three doors; one on the left and two on the right. The first door on the right led to a nicely furnished office, while the second led to a bedroom. The door on the left was a bathroom that included a bathtub.

Kylie promptly used the bathroom and went to take a closer look at the office right after. The chair was comfortable and the computer as promised in the letter and sticky notes had blueprints, and the general timeline of Naruto. Kylie was exhausted, she had taken some final exams earlier this morning (if it was even morning right now), and now she had this shoved onto her plate. Her brain refused to think anymore. She trudged herself to the bedroom she found later, stripped to her shirt and undies, and collapsed into the bed. Hopefully when she woke up, she would still be in her dorm room. She had had dreams that were fairly realistic before (but not to this degree). Whatever she was too tired for this, this was a problem for later.
