Chapter 51

After giving a brief briefing, Kenshin entered concentration mode, and concentrated on Fourth's mind. After a few minutes, he found the right "wave" and connected with Fourth's mind.

For the first time in his life, Kenshin felt what "chakra" was. It was a feeling that could not be described in words, and now he understood to the fullest extent why all manuals on chakra management were as abstract as possible, based not on clear formulas, but on an extremely subjective worldview.

After touching the chakra, he finally realised that there was not a single thread of chakra in his body that he could develop into a chakra hub and then awaken it, causing his body to produce it. By tuning into Fourth's feelings and thoughts, Kenshin's body became a "relay" transmitting those emotions and thoughts directly into Tenth's mind.

The tenth man, in turn, was at first very frightened by the unexpected images in his head, but following his father's instructions, continued to sit motionless, and tried to absorb the incoming information. Kenshin regulated the process, and helped his son tune into the right "wave", and a few minutes after the start of the session, all three of them were immersed in one very strong mental network.

Tenth was shocked when almost all the points where he had been stumped suddenly became clear. He began to absorb all the information as a sponge, and with each passing second, his "experience" in climbing walls and his "chakra control" were steadily increasing.

After a few minutes, Kenshin gently brought his sons out of the trance and ended the session, wiping the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand. The first session of the infiltration had been extremely stressful for him. He realised that in the coming months he should not even think about interfering in anyone's mind except the minds of his own descendants, who were completely open to the Patriarch and showed no passive resistance.

- Well, Tenth, did you understand anything? - Kenshin asked in a tired voice, leaning back against the wall.

- Yes, Father! Thank you, now I think I know how to walk on walls! - Tenth replied excitedly, and stepped a little to the side, concentrated, and stepped on the wall. At first his steps were tentative, and he almost lost control a few times, but then he quickly got used to it, and began to walk happily on the walls and ceiling.

The Sixth and Seventh, seeing the success of their younger brother, were sincerely happy for him, and leaving their own affairs, came up to congratulate him.

- Well done, Tenth! All my brothers are worthy to be their father's sons, well done! - Six praised him and patted him on the shoulder.

- It's not my fault, it's my dad's fault. He taught me how to walk on walls! - Tenth proclaimed, and his two older brothers stared at their father in bewilderment, not understanding how their father, who could not use chakra, could suddenly teach Tenth a simple but unusual wall-walking technique.

After Sixth and Seventh found out exactly how Kenshin had taught Tenth, everyone was ecstatic, and counted on their father to pass on some of Ichiro's skills to them, and accelerate their progress in just one day.

By this time the rest of the brothers had arrived and, recognising the cause of the excitement, joined in the enthusiastic cheering, until at last Kenshin put an end to it. He liked the fact that his sons, who had been little bald lumps not so long ago, had grown into sturdy lads and were now standing up for each other, but he made it clear that he would help only as a last resort, for this was a job that required intense concentration and tired the brain extremely quickly.

Hearing Kenshin, all the "kids" got a little sad, but then were a little intrigued by the next words:

- Don't get upset, I will still help you when you reach a dead end in your development, but know that knowledge transfer is not a panacea. Everything depends only on you, your understanding, and most importantly hard work. The received information is worthless if you can't apply it correctly! Tomorrow after breakfast I will hold another session. Fourth, get a good night's sleep, and put all your morning plans aside.

- Yes, Father. - The Fourth said humbly. All the younger brothers stared at him with undisguised envy, wondering why their father had decided to have a "séance" with the already strong and skilful Fourth, but no one dared to object.

Then Kenshin went to one of the bedrooms, and collapsed on the bed, falling instantly into a deep sleep. His unprepared and unaccustomed brain was taking in so much information for the first time.

He slept through the evening until Natsumi woke him up, gently stroking his head and saying:

- Come on, honey. You need to eat dinner, you haven't eaten anything all day. - She whispered, and stroked his hair gently again.

Kenshin opened his eyes and just looked at the beautiful face of the young girl, and then he grabbed her hand and pulled her to him, pressing his face into her chest, and just lay there, enjoying the softness and tenderness of the beautiful girl's body. He suddenly felt so light, and the accumulated mental fatigue left after a short sleep was dissipated only by the caresses of the young beauty, who gently embraced Kenshin, and began to stroke his head.

For the first time since arriving in this world, Kenshin was truly happy. At this point, he was fully accustomed to his new life, and had forgotten the old one. In these few short months, he had grown fond of the two delicate beauties warming his bed.

No girl from his past life could compare to Aya and Natsumi, who were perfect in everything. He suspected that their characters were slightly altered by the "system" but he didn't care.

After lying like that for a few minutes, Kenshin pulled himself together and got up, heading for the dining room. It was eight o'clock in the evening, and the whole family had gathered for a family dinner.

As soon as Kenshin sat down at the head of the table, the whole family started dinner. Everyone attended the dinner, including Aya and Natsumi, who sat to the left and right of Kenshin. Eleventh and Twelfth, who had been born in the morning, had already grown a little stronger, and were standing in a small playpen, holding onto the wooden bars and looking at their father and mother with interest.

After taking a small bite of hare meat, Kenshin stretched out his hand, and the saltcellar, which stood a metre away from him, moved to meet his hand. Everyone at the table instantly stopped eating, and stared at Kenshin stunned.

- Just a little telekinesis, don't be surprised. - He said with a smile, and salting the meat, continued eating.

His telekinesis abilities were indeed small, and attracting a salt shaker was just about the pinnacle of what he was capable of. Kenshin knew that this ability could be developed with hard training. With the ability "Patriarch's Mind", he had also received the relevant information.
