Aya had a friend. Well, more of a crush. In her eyes, she was the prettiest girl she has ever put her eyes on. She got those iris, that Aya could never stop watching, this black hair... It was close to addiction as this point.
But there was something she has hidden from her. The last time they saw eachother, they had a big fight and Aya run away. Watching Mitsuki acting like that was an horrible sight for her eyes, it wasn't the first time after all.
Tonight is an important one, Mitsuki is giving her first concert. The concert was going to start, and behind all the people, Aya was here in the back, hidden by all of those persons. She was here, and Mitsuki probably knew it. Even thought the last time they met they ended up on such bad words, she still didn't want to break her promise, she still came. How could she not ? She was her biggest fan after all.
When the stage light up, everybody could see Mitsuki, but no one coud see how much her eyes were burning. She knew all of this was her fault.
Before getting on stage, Megumu took her appart.
"If it's Joe who's sending you, you can just go with the others you know."
"You know I won't give up like that, Koga-san. Plus, it's not even him who's sending me !"
She lets out a little smirk against herself, "Oh yeah ?"
"Yes ! But more seriously now. With Aya... it's not going to get resolved if you don't do anything, you know that right ?" He crossed his arms against his chest while giving her a bad look.
"It's just-"
"I know you're not the best when you need to communicate." She wasn't indeed, and she knew it, maybe too well. "But you can't let her like that." The only thing Megumu could do right now, was pushing her forward.
"You said so yourself ! What am I supposed to say, I'll just make things even worse." All this converstation was giving her the headache.
Both hands were now on her shoulders. Her friend turned her to the stage, making their way through the place. She looked at him confused, but he didn't stop walking. "Come on! Stop thinking to hard your brain is not strong enough." He went in front to the musical instruments and grabbed Koga's guitar. "Hey, communicate isn't your thing, I get that, but maybe this should be more easier for you." He put it in her arms while she looked up at him. Thumbs up, a grin appeared on his face, "Now you know what to do, come on ! It's time!"
She turned her head, her team was here, waiting for her. They were next to the stage.
"I got to go ! I'll join the others, see you Koga-san, we're all counting on you!"
And now Mitsuki was on stage, the guitar in her hands, ready to play, when she saw her. She catched the microphone, Narita's words swinging in her head, and brought it closer to herself. At this moment, their eyes connected. They were both looking for eachother.
Then the music started and Mitsuki needed to focus. With the microphone between her fingers, she breathed, "I'm sorry, every single song is about you."
The lights were shining upon her. The weather had decided to rain. The drops were pouring all over her face. The people mustn't have noticed it, but the water underneath her lashes wasn't from it. In the dark of the night and beneath the lights, her eyes were brillant, but filled with tears.
Then they disappeared. All the lights went off. The public started applauding and cheering, signaling the end of the show. When the lights slowly came again, all the artists of the group greeted their public. The guitarist wasn't with them anymore but another one of them, took the microphone.
"You probably noticed that our great solo guitarist Mitsuki wasn't here to greed you guys, but don't worry she didn't forget you all, you have her salutations. She just has a urgent matter to resolve."
Aya closed her eyes, turning back from the stage and she left the place without a word. Her friends let her go, they knew it too after all. As fast as she was outside, someone stopped her. The girl opened her mouth but Aya didn't left her enough time, she was already going out of the way. She didn't stop to talk, she just go on walking. A hand find her right arm. The fingers tightened which made her stop.
"Oosawa-san wait, please."
The black haired girl received no answer. Aya stayed still, not moving an inch. Mitsuki's hand was still on her arm, while Aya was turning her back to her.
"I'm sorry I said that, about the songs. I didn't think before-"
"How dare you apologise for that." She cut her off. She moved her body, and when their eyes connected, all of Mitsuki's mind became blank.
Aya's face was bawling with tears. On instinct, she moved her arm, now free from Mitsuki because of the freeze, to cover her eyes.
Mitsuki reacted all of the sudden. She moved her fingers to her Aya's face and put her arms away. "Shhh, Oosawa-san don't cry, I'm sorry, please stop crying." She drew away the tears which were still coming down on her cheeks. "I'm sorry. I, I won't apologise for that again, I guess."
"Stop saying you're sorry all the time! And what do you mean 'you guess' ? Can't you just-" She looked into Mitsuki's eyes, before closing her eyelids and pulling her. She crashed on her chest. Her head on Mitsuki's shoulders and her arms around her middle. She hugged her tightly.
The other stayed still, still processing the situation. She could feel her shiver. She slowly gazed at her, her eyes started melting again, as her heart. She crossed her arms against Aya's back, and hugged her in return.
There was a pause, before a small voice made its way into the night, "I'm scared of losing you."
"Oosawa-san I-"
"I'm really scared of losing you Koga-san, and I don't want that. I want to stay by your side." She didn't moved up her head. Her tears were dripping on the floor between them.
"Then I won't go, I won't go anymore Oosawa-san."
"What ?" This time, she lift her head to look at Mitsuki in the eyes.
"I said I won't go where you aren't. And if we don't want to go to the same place, I'll still stand by your side. I promise. I will always go back to you." She had fire in her eyes. Not the kind of flammes that you get when you're angry, but the kind you have when you're decided, when you have the passion. She said it in a low voice, clear. That's what made Aya decided.
"No, I'll just be a heavy weight. I want you to go by the better paths possible. I'll wait for you, I can do that." She took Mitsuki's blushed cheeks in her hands. "I'll support you, no matter what."
"Then what am I suppose to do ? You're really important to me Oosawa-san. I can't, I can't let you down. You're supposed to be my number one supporter." She locked their forehead together, tracing Aya's hands which were still in her cheeks with her fingers.
"I am ! I'll still be your biggest fan, that won't change. But first, you shouldn't be regretting what you said, I... liked this idea."
Mitsuki's eyes widened. Both of their cheeks were blushing hard. "Oosawa-san..."
"Hmm." Aya closed her eyes, too ashamed to opened them again, even more when Mitsuki's were right in front of her.
She felt the brush of a pair of arms aroung her waist.Mitsuki pulled her in another hug.
"Then I won't retract my words. I really mean them. All these songs, I played them for you, every single one." She took Aya's hand, and pressed it over her chest, over her own heart. "I'll sing them for you and no one else, I could never. I love you Oosawa-san, I really need you close to me, near me. I coudn't bear another time like that, away from you. I could be whatever you want, just, tell me what you want and I'll be that for you."
Aya couldn't help but smile, "You're dumb." Her arms closed around Mitsuki's shoulder and head. While the other one put her arms back at their places, right on Aya's back. She tightened her grip.
"I can be that."
'Because I'm your biggest fan.'
