2 weeks later

Walking back from picking up my order from Duke I hum seeing Luisa turn walking the opposite direction and frown before rolling my eyes.

"Typical humans quick to turn their back on you for the stupidest of reasons" I mutter.

Crossing the bridge I jog back to the house and walk in dropping my crate on the table "Donna I have stuff" I call vaguely knowing her natural curiosity will pull her out faster then saying it's something for her.

Hearing the almost silent steps I hum pulling out an adult coloring book and crayons that I sit on the table before quickly covering the rest.

Seeing her peek around me at the crate I smile pushing it back slightly "so I have an idea that may scare you, if you're interested we can ease into it to see how you feel about it or if anything about you like" I say casually.

Donna looks at me tilting her head so I smile "I have two different outfits one for you and one for Angie, pick one and put them on then come back here and color while I make lunch".

"Why?" She asks fidgeting.

"Because you been under a lot of stress, today you're going to have a lazy day, I'll take care of anything you need all you have to do is color, play with your friends, or watch movies"

"What's the catch?" Angie demands.

"The catch is today don't question any urges you feel at all, if you suddenly have the urge to play, want to cuddle, or for me to read you a story just do it or ask, I swear on my honor that I will not allow harm to you nor will I harm you, somethings may seem childish or weird but I ask you to try it and if you're uncomfortable we can stop"

Watching her I see her fidget before slowly nodding, smiling I pull their outfits out then rub her arm "don't worry about what you choose, this isn't a test, today is all about your comfort and relaxation".

Grabbing the crate I take it with me to the kitchen then quickly put some macaroni on the stove and chicken nuggets nuggets in the oven before I pull out the three options for cups.

Going to the sink I hand wash them before drying them then filling them with juice, reaching back in the crate I pull out a pacifier to clean, then several necklaces used for special needs people to chew on, and finally a few fidget toys that have different textures or make sounds like clicking or popping.

Making sure everything's clean I then clean their containers and put them in and gather it up before taking them to the living.

Hearing the bathroom door open I wait till Donna comes out holding Angie both wearing black jumper with Barbie stuff on them "you both look beautiful" I say smiling at them.

Motioning her over I get her to sit by me before sliding the boxes over to her "I thought you could try these out today whenever you want, and if you like any we could put them around the house so you can always get them, then if you leave take a few with you".

"What are they?" She asks picking up one of the containers.

"Sensory fidgets, they're used to help people with autism, anxiety or ADHD, but sometimes people just like them for no reason"

"How do they work?"

"Most can be chewed on since you bite your nails and lip I thought you may like them, the rest" I trail off picking up a spinner showing her what it does before holding it out.

"You have to try the rest for yourself but I thought you may like them, if not I'm sure your friends would like them" I add seeing Angie biting a necklace.

Seeing her nod I get up making sure to kiss her head "no judgement Donna, all I want is you happy and comfortable".

Mother Miranda pov

Looking in the living room window I tilt my head seeing Donna dressed like a child and playing with toys that look similar to infant toys for teething.

Feeling the wind shift I duck in the hole I'm in till I'm sure it's safe that the dolls won't see me, looking in again I see Donna smile rubbing her thumb on a teether before setting it to the side.

Looking at Angie I see her throw a ball that hits the table and spreads before reforming, eventually the Outsider comes it and sits an infant bottle and two cups in front of Donna with Angie having her own matching set.

I watch as Donna reaches for a more adult cup that has ponies on it before her eyes move to the one similar to the bottle.

Seeing her try that one I watch shocked when Angie grabs the bottle trying to shove it in Donna's mouth ending in them playing around laughing.

"Okay girls lunch" the outsider calls smiling at them before sitting their food on Donna's tea table.

I see her move messing with a machine that shows movies on the wall, but it's not a projector like Alcina uses for movies.

Seeing a cartoon start I look at Donna seeing her looking at it with wide eyes, she seems unsure but not upset, hearing a song start I tilt my head seeing a crab directing music while the outsider curls her nose each time a mermaid's show before she grabs a book and starts reading.

Nova pov sometime last

Hearing Ursula talking and encouraging Ariel to come into her lair I look up putting my book down smiling "you really like her huh" Angie asks floating in front of my face blocking my view.

Humming I nod grabbing her and making her sit "yes, now shush she's about to sing".
