Next day

Coming out of my cave I frown crossing my arms looking at Cassandra bundled up so much, she looks like a ball with arms and legs "what are you doing?" She growls.

Lifting a bag I raise my brow seeing her glare at it before she swarms grabbing it from my hand, rolling my eyes I silently thank every sea god I can think of for her not trying to see inside the cave.

Maybe when it warms up but for now it's safe, she can't get in the water without her bugs dying, I'm unclear what type but I'm almost certain it's some kind of flies maybe blow flies.

"Where did you get all this?" She demands lifting money out as I climb out getting dressed again.

"I robbed a bank then had the money exchanged for some that works here I'm placing a big order with that Duke guy" I snap grabbing the bag leaving her with what's in her hand still "use that to buy a better attitude" I snark.

"I know you're hiding something" she screams swarming in front of me.

"And you're a paranoid brat that needs to stay out of my personal business, I'm not a threat to anyone here, I just want to live a peaceful life" I snap.

Walking off I head straight for the main village finding the Duke to place my order and pay.

Once finished I head to the the bakery and buy five boxes of treats before walking back to Donna's.

Getting in I put them on the table before starting on tea for Donna and my personal coffee, sighing I pull out the blood from last night to warm it on the stove.

"Where'd you go?" Donna whispers from right behind me.

"Needed money, placed an order with Duke, and got some kind of treat meant to be breakfast" I answer while stirring the blood.

"I thought you left" she mutters nervously.

"No, I don't leave anywhere without certain things and everything I take is here"

"What?" She asks.

"My Ursula book, my original weapon, my necklace, and something else that's extremely personal" I answer while grabbing her tea cup and breakfast tea.

Stepping around her I place my arm around her leading her to the chair making her sit "Cassandra, get in here or I'm eating your breakfast" I call while making Donna's tea.

Hearing buzzing from Cassandra I place Donna's drink before moving to make another "tea, coffee, or blood?" I ask without looking at her.

"Tea with blood" she grunts.

Nodding I make it before pouring the rest in a bowl and placing it for her, after making my coffee I sit down opening the boxes and grabbing one.

Glancing at Cassandra I reach over dipping it in the blood before putting it in my mouth smirking at her glare.

"You ate blood" Angie cackling.

"Not the first time, it's not my favorite thing but I can do it just to freak out people" I respond before taking a sip of my coffee.

"Any plans today?" I ask.

"I was going to finish the doll I been working on, maybe by this afternoon" Donna answers looking at the table.

"That's great, I still want to see it when you're done they always turn out so beautiful" I say seeing her relax and start eating.

"I'll be starting on the cleaning up the garden and putting a large fence up"

"Not near the cliff" Donna whispers freezing up.

"No, I'm blocking it off so it can't take anyone else"

Seeing her nod I smile knowing it still scares her, hopefully with a barrier between it and the property she'll be less panicked.

"I was think after I'm done with that, maybe I could build a surprise for you and Angie" I add.

Before she can respond I hear the door bang open and see Cassandra smirk at me "Donna, I came to get Cassandra home" a voice calls out.

Looking at Donna I follow her when she jumps up yanking my hand while looking around franticly, getting her to release my hand I take a step back before slipping out the backdoor.

Running for the cliff I lower myself climbing down, "who was that?" The new person demands.

Hissing I reach for another spot to lower myself but it caves in, hearing the clumps hit the water I grab more yanking it away before tucking myself in just as I hear the person rushing up.

I grit my teeth before seeing Calypso fly out looking around, she spins before looking at me then continuing her sweep "no, I swear Aunt Eva, she was here I seen her" I hear Cassandra shout.

"We got a maid and she's upset because we won't allow her to mess with her" Angie cackling.

"Cassandra, I know you're mad but throwing a fit won't help you, now let's go" the woman finally orders after several minutes of arguing.

Eventually Calypso comes back and points to the top, nodding I carefully climb out and up slipping a few time, once I'm over the edge I feel Donna and Angie pulling me to move further away from it.

"Donna calm down, it's not the first time I've hidden like that" I say softly while rubbing her back.

Feeling her and Angie cling to me I hug them closer "one of the stories passed down by books in my kinds history says we're descendants of Scylla, a Goddess who was turned into a sea monster".

I bite my lip thinking myself of what else I could tell her to distract her "we have to tell them" Donna finally says sniffling.

Sighing I close my eyes "Donna, even you're worried about what happens when they get contact with me".

Glancing at her I see her nervous fidgeting "okay, I'll meet with them whenever you're ready" I finally agree.

Hugging Cassandra I smile seeing her pout "what's wrong?"

"The outsider's living with Aunt Donna, she has tentacles and her body turned into a half octopus Aunt Donna's hiding her" she rants.

Looking at her I frown seeing her reach in her cloak pulling out a mask with a bird beak "this is a plague mask" I mutter frowning.

"It was in her stuff she let Angie and I look at, I took it to show proof after Aunt Eva wouldn't listen to me"

Kissing her rose mark I smile stroking her hair "good job Cassandra, I'll call mother and tell her" I say proudly.
