Waking up I frown looking at Calypso looking at me, it really gets creepy I can feel her eyes tracking me as I move or sleep, at one point the feeling faded enough I could sleep good but it came back more intense this morning.

Getting up I gather my clothes stuffing them in a bag "Good morning Calypso, time to return you so I'm going to place you back in this bag till we get clear of the water" I say before yawning.

Picking her up I carefully place her in "I hope you're comfortable, if not I'm sorry just give me a few minutes" I add before closing it.

Getting in the water I swim out and reach the shore then climb out onto my rock, pulling my clothes on after drying I tuck my bag away on the cliff wall before getting the doll out and checking her, I smile adjusting her dress and hair "there, now are you going to show me wherever you're supposed to be?" I ask.

Looking at her I roll my eyes at the silence and inactivity "okay then, I'll place you at the grave and you're mistress can put you back when she comes out" I finally say.

Heading back I place her down and gently pat her head "alright Calypso, be good and don't run off again I'm sure she'd be very upset if you got lost or damaged".

Reaching the village I hum to myself "Nova".

Glancing over I smile seeing Luisa jogging over "hey" I greet.

"I made you something" she says holding a large folded bundle out.

Raising my brow I take it finding a large fur lined jacket "Luisa" I start.

"I used the old ones and before you try to give it back I don't care what you say, it's far to cold for you to walk around without a jacket" she interrupts.

Sighing I carefully pull it one having to pull the arms up slightly then buttoning it closed "Luisa this is unnecessary, I told you before I don't notice the cold I grew up in it as I am" I repeat.

She shrugs before pulling stuff from the pockets "I know, in Russia, now I made you a hat, some gloves, and a scarf so make sure to wear them" she says waving me off.

Shrugging I pull them on before putting the scarf on "Why do you think Russia?" I ask.

"Just a guess, seems right for your looks"

I shrug frowning "are you coming to the service today?" She asks.

"What?" I ask confused.

"It's Sunday, I'm sure it would help you understand our beliefs better"

"I'm not very religious, I know it's your beliefs and I respect that but I'd rather not go, it feels wrong to intrude on something so scared to you all" I counter.

"The Lords attend, it would allow you to see them so if you bump into them you know who they are and can respond accordingly"

"Why do you want me to come so badly?" I ask confused at her pushing since the last times she didn't.

"I just want to include you, it's a holiday and there will be a feast"

"Oh what holiday?" I ask.

"To celebrate the Lords and all they give us, we leave offering to them as thanks"

"Right, um could you place this for the one who has a doll for me" I ask holding out a doll I'd made in traditional Cecaelia style holding a smaller one.

"Of course" she agrees looking relaxed finally, so my guts right that this is most likely a cult.

"Oh look it's Lady Dimitrescu carriage" Luisa suddenly say.

Looking up I stop moving confused at the pulsing, it doesn't feel as dangerous to me as before, seeing the door open I watch as three girls climb out and rush in quickly.

"Those are her daughters, they hardly come out in the colder weather" Luisa says glancing at me.

Nodding I keep silent after what I heard, I have an idea why they hardly come out in the cold I know insects when I hear them "must get sick easy, poor dears" I finally say.

"I really need to continue on Luisa, but thank you for the winter wear and for placing my offering, you best hurry before you're late" I add.

She nods turning and rushing away, sighing I shake my head "nope" I mutter before heading to the woods.

A few hours later

Taking the fur I've gathered I head back to my home to treat it so it can be used, passing the grave I frown seeing Calypso missing again "I really hope you're not lost or hurt" I mutter.

Reaching my area I wrap it all up before frowning at my bags I've hidden, finding the ones I need and put them in before heading in.

Coming up I hear something running across the ground and look around seeing Calypso sat on my bed like this morning, ignoring it I sit to start getting my stuff set up "Hello Calypso, it's nice to see you again" I greet.

I frown thinking about what this doll could be trying to do, I'm sure her Mistress must know about me and sent her to gather information, hopefully to see if she can just leave me in peace.

"Sometimes I miss my home" I say casually.

I fight back a shiver at the feeling of being watched intensify "I was born around Antarctica, a single child to successfully born from a clutch of five, it was hard growing up there, like all Cecaelia my mother died before my hatching, most of us didn't survive because sharks seen us a easy prey".

Hearing shuffling I ignore it while I continue to handle the fur "I became a powerful warrior because of this, something happened when I was supposed to have my clutch I can't really remember, but I know I felt intense pain and then next thing I know is I'm awake the new queen and knights chased me out and I've never been able to return".

Hearing her move closer I chuckle shaking my head "Nova Frostburn was the name I was given, I think I did something that caused an invasion to retreat in fear, something to do with these human balls on chains, I remember heat and a huge wave that sent me into an sunken ship".

"I lost a tentacle in that ship because a shark was in it and bit me, I suffocated it by covering its gills and holding it in place" I add.

"I took a crown in my time and ruled for several years I'm certain it was a Mer Kingdom that I took, their our sisters, well step sisters really but that's with one story of how we came to be, I don't think anyone really knows and anyone who did is long dead"

"I been on land since, luckily I'm skilled with magic and could take a human form or I'd been in trouble" I add.

Seeing her from the corner of my eye, I sigh looking at my work "I do not want to fight anyone, I just want to have peace for as long as possible, I been avoiding the leaders here to not have a fight".
