1. This fanfiction will feature ShikaNaru (Shikamaru x Naruto) pairing and other Bl pairings and Gl pairings. If you're not a fan of BL (boy's love) or GL (girl's love) pairings. You may consider it a warning. You may choose to skip this story or read with caution.
2. The story will begin with Naruto as Hokage, married to Hinata and they have two children: Boruto and Himawari. There will be references to Naruto and Hinata's past relationship.
3. While the ShikaNaru pairing will be present, it will not be the main focus of it. Their bond will develop gradually in a slow burn fashion. As with my reasoning that Naruto is unlikely to develop feelings for Shikamaru right away, considering his previous marriage to Hinata in his original timeline (and they did have kids).
4. This fanfiction will involve timetravel, with Naruto being sent to the past. As a result he will encounter people who are already dead in his original timeline, triggering flashbacks and panic attacks.
Additionally Naruto will struggle with the fear of changing the future too much, worrying his actions may lead to a butterfly effect. Despite his fear he wants a different path for himself, different from his original timeline for the first time, which conflicts with his selfless nature. For so long he has put others before himself. But In this fanfic he will be torn between wanting to change things and the fear that his selfishness will shatter everything.
5. Although the timetravel plot may change some events, maybe even adding events that aren't in the original. Naruto won't be portrayed as selfish, in fact , quite the opposite. He wishes to return to a time when he wasn't the Seventh Hokage yet. With the intention of being a better husband to Hinata and a better father for his kids. As Kurama promises to take him back in time. However the plan goes wrong and he ends up traveling further than that! Still Boruto and Himawari's existence will not be erased or forgotten.
They may return under different circumstances, but they will remain part of the future, Naruto strives to protect. As time progresses, Naruto will see changes in his relationships, abilities and etc. And will strive to adapt even if he struggles a bit. Hoping for a future where more lives are saved. Where happiness is within reach , and certain tragic fates can be prevented.
6. I also want to apologize if the plot feels generic or doesn't make sense at times. I'm still a beginner when it comes to writing stories! I'm learning as I go, and I will genuinely appreciate your patience and support as I grow!
7. English is not my first language, so there may be mistakes in my grammar or usage of words. So I apologize in advance and if you spot any errors, feel free to let me know! So I can correct them.
8. This is my first time writing a fanfiction , so please bare with me if some characters are out of character (ooc) I'll try my best to stick with their canon personalities as possible. Well if I can no promises!
