New friends

“Well Luz, have you ever seen anything as breathtaking as this?!” Eda asked enthusiastically.

Luz looked upon a large rotting carcass of some slug based creature surrounded by piles of both human and demon realm trash, with the slug itself being the size of a whale, and smelling worse than anything Luz ever smelled, and that was saying something.

Luz gagged “Definitely breathtaking.“

“Ah yes it doesn't get much better than a trash slug. It makes a home, a life, from what other people throw away, until one day....Blam!! It gets hit hard by a big wave of sea water and is choked out by all the salt. Then we get to harvest anything and everything we find that's good and valuable from it's corpses. Here grab a shovel, we’re gonna hit the stink nodes first!” Eda said as she handed Luz a pickaxe.

Luz got an idea and set down the pickaxe.

“Uh, how about this instead?” Luz said before she used her shadow clone Jutsu and created 30 clones.

The special thing about these clones was that none of them had a nose, so no one complained when Luz shouted "Forward!" whereupon all the clones harvested the trash slug.

Eda and King watched in amazement as the clones basically dismantled the trash slug.

It only took a few minutes for the clones to harvest everything that was in the body. The clones then carried everything they harvested straight to the Owl House before Luz dissolved them.

"Damn Luz, that saved us a lot of time," says Eda.

Luz waves it off "At least we don't have to hack into a corpse." Even though she could see everything her clones did in the trash slug. She really hoped it won’t hunt her in her nightmares.

Eda replied as if defending this work, "Hey, you never know what you might find in a trash slug. Come here for a second."

Luz followed Eda, and kneeled before a green puddle of slime.

"As I'm sure you're aware of this, given your past. In a life or death situation, you can use your surroundings to your advantage or use what you have on hand to pull out a win. Even if it's from somewhere unexpected, like from this pile of goo." She grabs Luz‘s hand and before Luz could react stuffs it inside. Eda ignores the disgusted expression from Luz, and feels around before grabbing onto the first solid thing she feels "The strangest of things will make the biggest difference at the most important times."

Eda showed her hand to Luz and presented a small slimeball.

"A greasy slimeball?" Luz said questionably.

"A good witch is resourceful, Luz. Use your slime ball wisely, young Ninja Witch." Eda said in a sagely voice.

Even though the slime disgusted her, Luz had to admit that Eda was right. After all, in the past she had often used the strangest things she could find to turn the tables. For this reason, she took a tissue out of her pocket and wiped the slime off, to see what the slime hides.

Luz now holds a seed in her hand. She examines the seed and says, "Well, you can always use a seed."

Eda's eyes widened when she recognized the seed in Luz's hand, "Whoa, if I had known it was this kind of thing hidden in the slime, I would have kept it for myself."

Luz frowned and looked at the inconspicuous thing in her hand, "Is it really that special?"

Eda folded her arms and nodded, "You have no idea, Kid. A whole forest could grow from this one seed. The Plant Coven pays huge sums for such a thing."

Luz whistled appreciatively, "Not bad." Then she flicked the seed in the air with her thumb, caught it again and casually put it in her pocket.

Eda watched her with an amused grin before pointing in the direction of her house "Okay, then let's sort what we found in the Trash Slug. Who knows, maybe we'll find another treasure in there."

Luz waved her off "If it's okay with you, I'd rather like to try out a few new jutsus from the scroll."

Since she stole the scroll of sealing, she's looking in it whenever she has the time and written down a few jutsus in a notebook that really interested her, to try them out, but she hasn't had time to do so yet.

Eda shrugged her shoulders "Your choice, kid."

Luz nodded in appreciation, and without another word, Luz ran away from the beach into the forest until she found a quiet place. She pulled out her notebook and was about to see which jutsu she should start with when she heard a voice behind a bush.

"You can do it! You can!"

Luz sneaks cautiously where she heard the voice. She pushed aside some bushes to see a girl around her age, wearing a grey tunic with a dark mantle and cowl, and purple sleeves and leggings, she was a bit shorter and plumper than Luz and wore thick round-lensed glasses over olive green eyes. Her features were soft and her hair was short and neat. The girl also appeared distressed, pacing in front of a cart with a large grey pot resting on it and giving herself a pep talk.

"You can do it," she said out loud, "Even if you get a bad grade, it's not a reflection of you as a witch. And my parents are right. There are better opportunities on this Track. Now, get to school!“

She punctuated her pep-talk with a confident pose, which unfortunately had her step on a flower. The girl gasped in distress as she saw what she'd done.

"Oh no! Oh, little friend! I'm sorry!" The girl drew a small circle above the flower. The flower glowed, then rose again, healed.

Luz looked fascinated at the plant magic.

The girl looked pleased, then her ears twitched, and she turned around. A cart with a large pot, similar to the one she had, rolled up, being propelled by magic. Sitting on top of the pot was another girl wearing the same uniform. This girl was a bit paler and quite slender, with golden eyes, black nail polish, and dyed green hair, brown roots were visible on the front of her hairline partially tied up into a short ponytail that still left some hair to fall loosely down the back of her head.

The girl was pretty cute, in Luz's opinion.

The green haired girl closed the book she had been reading as she turned to look down at the first girl "Willow! Wow," she said while hopping down, "You're so unnoticeable I almost rolled into you.“

"Hi, Amity.“ Willow said sullenly. The flower she just healed wilted as she stood up.

"Uh,“ Amity, started, "Shouldn't you get to class early to prep your…"

She stopped speaking, and both turned to Willow's pot as they heard a rattling. The pot then tipped over, and purple sludge spilled out, a blinking eye in the middle of it.

"Oh, Willow," Amity said condescendingly, "You don't have anything to show, do you?"

Luz’s eyes narrowed upon hearing that. It seemed that mean school girls existed in each dimensions. But for Luz something was strange about the behavior of Amity. For her it’s like as if it’s just an act of Amity, but she isn’t sure why it should be an act.

Willow frowned and pulled her cowl up, blushing in embarrassment.

"Huh," Amity sighed, "This is why people call you '‘Half‐a‐Witch Willow‘.“ Amity's pot began to rattle, and she walked over to it.

"Oh, looks like someone wants to say something to you," she said, lifting the lid off of it and snapping her fingers "Abomination, rise," Amity commanded, and purple goop rose out of the pot, solidifying into a humanoid shape.

The Abomination slumped down before reaching out and touching Willow on the forehead, leaving behind a star made out of purple goop.

"You're a… star," the Abomination mumbled.

"Aw. It's like mine," Amity said, touching the star pinned to her uniform, "But much smaller and meaningless. As Top Student, it's my duty to tell you to keep at it." She puts her arm around Willow. "Even you could get a passing grade someday. Abomination, cower."

The Abomination turned back into sludge and collapsed into the pot. Amity replaced the lid and then moved to push the cart. "See you in class, superstar," Amity called to Willow before leaving.

Luz looks after Amity as she passed her hiding spot, she is pretty sure that Amity wants to be hated, but doesn’t know why. When Amity was out of her eyesight she focused back to Willow.

"‘Oh, see you in class, superstar!’” She said mockingly, wiping the mud off her forehead, “I hate when she does that.” The wind began swirling around her, and Luz was prepared to take action as she felt the power starting to surge.

“I hate making abominations,” Willow continued, clenching her eyes shut, “I hate getting bad grades. Ugh! I can't stand this anymore!“

She opened her eyes, and Luz noticed they were now glowing green. The ground rumbled, and then massive vines burst out of the soil around the flower that Willow had healed earlier and began to whip around.

Luz jumped out of the way as one of them tried to snake around her ankle.

She landed next to Willow, who’s glowing eyes staring straight at her.

Luz snapped her fingers in front of Willow’s face as she says "Hey! Snap out of it!“

“...” Willow blinked, then her eyes returned to normal, and she began to panic slightly.
“Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I'm so sorry!” She said. She moved her hands and guided the vines away.

“It’s fine,” Luz told her calmly, “The thorns didn't reach me."

Willow leaned in very close to Luz, who leaned back, a bit weirded out by the action. She noticed that Willow was staring closely at her. Luz was sure it wasn’t because of her ears there she created after the Adegast incident a pendant in the shape of a shuriken to cover her ears in a illusion.

"I’ve never seen you before. Are you new?” Willow asked

"I moved here recently." Luz replied.

Willow stood up as she asked “Are you going to Hexside too?“

Luz isn’t sure yet what Hexside is, but from the uniform Willow and Amity are wearing, she concluded that it’s some kind of witch school.

Luz says “No, I’m actually in a apprenticeship and have a sen- I mean a mentor who teaches me everything I need to know.“

Before Willow could ask anything else an odd scream rang in the distance. Willow froze and then sighed.

“Uh, I'm sorry,” she said, “I can't stay. I have to go disappoint my teacher. It was nice to meet you… um?” Willow just noticed that she didn’t get a name yet.

“Luz and you’re Willow, correct?“ as Willow nods Luz continues “What you did with that flower and those plants was amazing.”

“Thanks,” Willow smiled at the praise, then frowned sadly, “But I'm not even supposed to be doing Plant Magic.”

Eda already told Luz everything about the coven system, so she thought that a school would teach the students only one track. Even though she thinks that it’s a stupid system she couldn’t do anything about it. So Luz asked "But you are really good in it, why aren’t you studying it?"

Willow explained sighs "My parents put me in the Abomination Track at school," she motioned to the purple puddle on the ground. "They mean that it has better job opportunities.“

"If you can't do the magic, what job opportunities?" Luz said with a raised brow "You are better off transferring to the plant track."

Willow started "B-b-but my parents-"

"Who loves you and would want you to be happy." Luz interrupted.

Willow don’t know what to answer. She sighs "I just wish I could get a passing grade for once. Then people would stop calling me 'Half-a-Witch Willow.‘" she kicked her spilled Abomination.

Luz frowned sadly, wishing she could help Willow, but it's not like she knew anything about Abomination Magic. Then, she stared at the spilled Abomination goo, and her eyes widened as an idea formed in her mind.

"Hey, I know how I could help you." she told Willow.

"Really? How?" Willow asked.

Luz raised a finger and grinned. "I'll help you, but I have one condition."

Willow blinked in confusion. "Uh... what condition?" she asked hesitantly.

Luz crossed her arms. "You have to seriously consider changing tracks."

Willow winced and looked uncertainly at the floor. "I... I don't know... My parents-"

"Just think about it, okay?" Luz interrupted gently. "You have a talent for plant magic. It would be a shame if you didn't use it."

Willow bit her lip before finally nodding slowly "Okay... I'll think about it."

"Good enough!" Luz clapped her hands and stepped in front of the puddle of Abomination slime. She formed some hand signs in concentration, her hands moving in a quick, precise pattern.

Willow watched her with a frown. "Um... what are you doing?"

Luz broke up the jutsu as she remembered that jutsus are unknown for witches. She grinned as she says "I can't do magic like other witches, and this is my way of doing magic." Then she started again with the jutsu, her fingers forming more complex patterns until she finally pressed her palms to the ground with a final movement.

The Abomination puddle began to bubble. The slime contracted, piled up, and began to take on a humanoid shape. But instead of the lumpy, swaying shape of a normal Abomination, this creature had clear, defined contours. Its arms and legs looks stronger, its posture more upright. It looked almost like an Abomination, but it wasn’t an Abomination either. At least not 100%.

It was a golem made of Abomination slime. Since Luz has been in the Demon Realm, she has read almost every book that was in Eda’s possession that she could find, and that were surprisingly a lots. One of the books contained information about abominations, and since it's not much different than a golem, it wasn't particularly difficult for her, especially there in front of her was a spilled pot of abomination goo.

Willow's eyes widened "W-What?! How did you do that?!"

Luz smiled softly, a hint of nostalgia in her eyes "My father taught me."

Willow blinked in surprise and continued to watch the golem sway slightly back and forth.

"Whenever I had a bad day or just needed to be cheer up, he would make a golem out of anything, dirt, stone, clay, even old soda cans, and then he would play tricks on me." Luz's smile grew warmer as she remembered happy times with her parents. Her father making little golem figures dance with a wide grin while her mother watched and laughed.

Willow didn't seem to notice her thoughtful face. Instead, she looked at the golem in fascination, gently tapping his arm with her finger. The slimy body gave way slightly, but the golem remained stable.

"If your father taught you this, then he must be in the Abomination Coven, right?" Willow wondered aloud.

Luz just smiled vaguely and didn't elaborate "Well, as for this version here..." She pointed to the golem. "Since the Abomination slime is pretty thin, it will probably dissolve in two to three hours. But hopefully that should be enough time to demonstrate it."

Willow nodded slowly and continued to look at the golem in amazement.

"It works exactly like an Abomination. You can give it orders, just not the order to speak." Luz thought for a moment, then turned to the golem "From now on, you must always listen to the word 'Abomination'."

The golem paused for a moment, then twitched slightly as if it had processed the order. Luz turned to Willow and grinned "Try it out."

Willow seemed unsure, but then she took a deep breath and said carefully "Abomination, retreat into the cauldron."

As if on command, the golem slowly began to move. His body slumped until it became a viscous mass again, flowing into the cauldron.

Willow's eyes widened "It... it worked!"

Luz grinned broadly, her toothy smile beaming with confidence "Of course it worked! I hope you get a good grade with it."

Willow looked at her with shining eyes "Luz, that's really incredible! I can't thank you enough. And..." She hesitated briefly before continuing with a determined nod "I'll definitely talk to principal Bump to change tracks."

Luz's grin grew even wider "I'm glad to hear that. It would be a shame if you didn't do what you're really good at."

A glance up at the sky told Willow that it was getting really late. She winced. "Oh, I really have to go to school now, otherwise I'll be late!"

Just as she turned to leave, she stopped abruptly and looked at Luz again "Say... would you like to see the school?"

Luz raised an eyebrow curiously. She was actually interested in seeing the inside of a witch school, but she had other plans. "Sounds tempting, but unfortunately I already have plans. And I think it would be better to get first a permit from your principal before going unannounced to your school." Then she added with a friendly smile, "But I'll be around here for the next few hours. If you want to come by after school to tell me about the Abomination demonstration and the decision about the track change."

Willow nodded enthusiastically, "Yes! I'll definitely come over after school and tell you everything."

An idea came to Luz. She reached into her pocket, pulled out the seed that Eda had given her earlier, and gently threw it to Willow.

"A seed for good luck."

Willow instinctively caught it and looked at it curiously. But as soon as she recognized it, her eyes widened in disbelief. "Luz... do you even know what you just gave me?!"

Luz gave her a wide, mischievous smile, without even a hint of remorse. "I know exactly what this is, my mentor told me."

Willow was speechless, but in the best possible way. She knew how valuable this seed was, and that Luz gave it away just like that meant an incredible amount to her. She looked at Luz with gratitude.

"I... wow. Thank you, Luz. Really."

Luz waved her hand lightly. "Make the best of it."

Willow held the seed tightly in her hand as she finally made her way to school. As Willow walks away with her cart she thinks 'I think I made a new friend.‘

When she was out of sight, Luz pulled out her notebook and opened it. She glanced over the pages and grinned excitedly when she found the first jutsu she wants to try.

"Okay, where were we?" she muttered to herself. Then her eyes lit up with excitement “Chakra wings… oh yeah, that sounds right up my alley!”

A little later in the Abomination Track classroom.

Willow sat at her desk and looked at the seed that Luz had given her earlier. As promised, she had already spoken to principal Bump about the track change. Bump said that he had to see if a change would make sense before he would allow it, so he asked Willow to meet him at the Grudgby Field at the end of the school day to test her.

She looked back to her Profesor Hermonculus as he shouted about another failed Abomination “Too many toenails in unexpected places. Fail! Pathetic!“

The student, a dark-skinned girl with lavender hair and ram horns, looked down sadly. She dismissed her Abomination and wheeled it back to her seat as the teacher turned to address the class as a whole.

“The biggest abominations are all of you!” Professor Hermonculus yelled, “If the next abomination is a failure everyone gets extra homework for a month!”

Most of the students groaned and started complaining while Willow winced.

Professor Hermonculus cleared his throat. “And the next one to come up is…” he said, looking around.

Amity stood up and raised her hand "Excuse me, sir,” She said eagerly, “But I am ready to present my Abomination. Rise!”

Amity’s Abomination rose in a twirl and posed, and Professor Hermonculus laughed lightly at the display.

“I've always saved the best for last, Amity,” he told her, “You'll have to wait your turn. How about... Willow.”

The other students groaned, complaining, and calling her Half-a-Witch. Willow ducked inside her cowl, but when she looks at the seed in her hand she remembered what Luz did for her. She took a deep breath before she stand up.

Willow nervously wheeled the cart up to the front. Once she got there, she set it down and stepped back.

“A-abomination, rise…” She squeaked out.

The Abomination Golem began to emerge from the cauldron like a liquid before slowly rising to its feet. Its chunky limbs moved smoothly as it grew to its full size. A murmur went through the class, and several students leaned forward to get a better look.

The Abomination Golem now stood fully upright, looking around with empty, shining eyes. Its form was stable, its posture impressive. Even Professor Hermonculus raised an eyebrow in surprise.

Willow swallowed nervously and carefully raised her hand. "A-abomination... bow."

The Golem responded immediately. With an almost elegant movement, it leaned forward and performed a respectful bow. A collective gasp filled the classroom.

Professor Hermonculus stepped closer, eyed the Abomination critically, and finally clicked his tongue. "Impressive. A clear improvement…” He folded his arms and examined the construct closely. “But can it talk?”

Willow shook her head quickly “N-no, Professor Hermonculus. I’m not experienced enough to create a talking Abomination yet.”

“A shame,” Hermonculus replied. “But still a huge improvement compared to your previous results.”

He walked around the Abomination and looked at it from all sides. Finally, he tapped the arm with a finger and nodded slowly. “A little too thin… but still a functioning Abomination.” He turned to Willow. “Passed.”

Willow breathed a sigh of relief as Hermonculus wrote a large “B+” on the golem’s chest with a red pen.

“Keep it up and you could be the next top student.” he said casually.

The words hit Amity like a blow. She sat up abruptly in her seat and glared at Willow "Wait a minute! This morning this Abomination was a puddle! How did you manage that so quickly?"

Willow flinched briefly, but then she composed herself and replied carefully "After our meeting, I met a witchling who is an Abomination expert. She helped me."

Professor Hermonculus eyebrows rose. "An witchling with expertise in Abomination magic?" He put a thoughtful hand to his chin. "Is she interested in this track?"

Willow shook her head "No, she doesn't go to school here. But she is in a appreciationship."

A murmur went through the class. Only a few witchlings had the privilege of being personally trained by a mentor. Even Amity seemed briefly impressed, albeit reluctantly.

Professor Hermonculus took what he had heard in before the school bell screamed to announce the end of class.

At the end of the school day at the Grudgby Field.

After a pleasant day at school for Willow, she found herself at the Grudgby Field with her best friend Augustus. He is a dark skinned young boy and based on the color of his sleeves he was in the illusion track.

When Willow told him everything about her day at school, that she passed her abomination test, that she made a new friend and that she asked Bump to put her in the plant track.

Augustus was more than excited to hear that she finally wanted to go to the plant track and accompanied her as moral support, he even brought his little flags.

Bump, who was sitting by the seats on the field, began to speak "Miss Park, as you told me this morning, you want to switch to the plant track. I have already spoken to your parents and they are willing to allow you to switch. Before I allow you that though, I would like to see a demonstration to determine if a switch would make sense. Start whenever you are ready."

Augustus, who was standing at the edge of the field, began to cheer her on with his mini flags.

Willow takes a deep breath before pulling the seed out of her pocket and working her magic on it. It only took a few seconds for the whole field to resemble a small forest.

Even though some vines wrapped around Bump's ankles, he was more than impressed by the performance.

He clears his throat before saying "Congratulations Ms. Park. I hereby approve the change."

He cast a magic circle, whereupon Willow's purple sleeves changed to green.

"Report to the plant track classroom tomorrow morning to pick up your new schedule," he said before he started to walked away. He stopped at the edge of the field, turned to Willow and said "Oh yeah, get rid of the plants from the field before you go." With that he walked away, leaving Willow and Augustus alone.

Willow was still speechless about what had just happened. Her shock was relieved when Augustus cheered loudly "Congratulations Willow!"

As he cheered, he created illusions of balloons, confetti, and a banner that read "Congratulations Willow!"

Willow was overjoyed. She could barely contain it. A wide smile spread across her face, and for a moment she just stood there, overwhelmed by her own joy.

"I... I really did it!" she finally exclaimed, her hands clenching in excitement. She jumped once in the air, turned to Augustus, and grabbed him by the shoulders. "Augustus! I'm officially in the Plant Track! I have to run to Luz right now and tell her!"

Just as she was about to storm off, Augustus stepped in her way and raised an eyebrow. "Willow... haven't you forgotten something?"

Willow blinked at him in confusion "Forgot? What?"

Augustus pointed with his thumb over his shoulder to the Grudgby Field, or rather, to the lush mini-forest that Willow had just created.

Willow slapped her forehead "Oh... right. The plants."

Augustus laughed and waved his mini flags "I mean, it looks amazing, but I don't think the Grudgby team will appreciate their field suddenly being a nature reserve."

Willow sighed playfully before refocusing on the task.

Meanwhile.

Luz was lying exhausted on the forest floor. She was exhausted but had a big smile on her face.

After hours of training and practice, she managed to learn three new jutsus, although she still needs to work on them.

One was the chakra wings that allowed her to fly in the air. The second was chakra threads that allowed her to control things like weapons through chakra. The third was a shadow jutsu that allowed her to have control over her opponents as long as her shadow was in contact with the opponent's shadow. Even though she is not a fan of shadow jutsus, she thought that it could certainly be useful for her in the future.

Luz was still lying exhausted on the forest floor, her breathing was heavy, but the big smile on her face showed that she was more than pleased with herself. Learning three new jutsus in one day was no easy feat, but she had done it.

Just as she was about to sit up, she heard a rustling behind her. She flinched, but when she turned around, she recognized the familiar silhouette of Eda, looking down at her with her arms crossed.

"You took your time, Kid," Eda said with a crooked grin. "I thought you fell asleep somewhere or blew yourself up."

Luz laughed quietly and slowly sat up. "Almost, but no. I've been training!" She jumped to her feet, but wobbled slightly as her legs were still a little shaky. "And guess what! I learned three new jutsus!"

Eda raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Three? In one training session? Not bad."

"Thanks! I can now create chakra wings and fly, control things with chakra threads and... well, a shadow jutsu, but that was more of a 'just in case' thing."

Eda nodded approvingly, then patted Luz on the shoulder. "You can tell me all that at home, after a bath and dinner. You stink of sweat and burnt wood."

Luz grinned. "Speaking of baths..." She blinked, noticing that Eda was covered from head to toe in a slimy, green substance, probably slime from a Trash Slug "Uh, Eda... you're covered in slime."

"Oh, that's a long story."

Before Luz could ask further, there was another rustling in the bushes. This time it was louder and faster. Luz and Eda turned around, just in time to see Willow and Augustus running towards them.

Eda reacted instinctively, jumping into an attack position, summoning Owlbert as a staff and ready to lunge at the newcomers.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Luz raised her hands. But before she could calm Eda down, Willow and Augustus screamed in shock, stumbled backwards and landed roughly on the ground.

Luz immediately rushed to them and helped them up. "I'm sorry! That's Eda, she's a bit... overcautious."

Willow brushed the dirt off her clothes and shook her head. "No problem! I would have been scared too if someone I didn't know suddenly jumped out at me."

Augustus blinked as he looked at Eda more closely. Then his eyes widened "Wait a minute... I know you! You're the woman from the market who sells all these human treasures!"

Eda blinked in surprise and then looked at him too "Ohhh, you're the kid who always stared at my stand from afar but never buys anything!"

Augustus crossed his arms and snorted "No wonder! Your things are way too expensive! Besides... you scare me."

Eda grinned broadly "Heh, I hear that a lot."

Willow giggled and put a hand on Augustus shoulder "Luz, this is my best friend, Augustus. He is the president of the H.A.S at our school.“

When Luz heard the name, her eyes lit up "Augustus? Oh wow, that's funny! I once knew a person with that name. We always called him Gus."

Augustus eyes widened, then he began to beam enthusiastically "Gus? Nickname? Human nickname? Gus? Call me it. Wow. Gus. This is the best day of my life!"

Luz turned to Willow "But hey! What are you doing here?"

Willow's face beamed with joy. "I just had to tell you something! Thanks to you, I made it, I'm now officially in the Plant Track!"

Luz's eyes widened with excitement "No way! Really?!"

Willow nodded eagerly "Yes! I showed principal Bump my skills and then he put me in the plant track!"

Eda whistled in amazement "Damn, kid. What did I miss?"

Luz laughed "I'll tell you later." Then she pointed to the slime on Eda's body "But speaking of which, what about the slime?"

Eda shrugged "I'll tell you later too."

There was silence for a moment, then Luz and Eda started laughing at the same time. Willow and Gus exchanged a quick glance before joining in.

It was definitely a crazy but good day.
